ME RANTING ABOUT MISINFORMATION ABOUT BAGI AND WHAT NOT

A missing piece people don't realize about the workers' murder arc is that Bagi was not all that bothered by the workers' death at first, she was more worried about how Cucurucho would retaliate and also by the cannibalism, because yeah, cannibalism doesn't exactly scream mental health.

It was seeing the grief of the living workers that changed her profoundly, it filled her with guilt. And I cannot help but think of young Bagi who didn't have a body to bury, didn't have closure, and refused to even acknowledge the possibility that her brother was dead, being so moved by such an open sight of mourning.

Bagi ran herself stressed not knowing a way to help Cellbit AND stop the murders, she refused any solution that would harm him, she went after talking with people who were close with Cellbit and whom she also trusted to not turn information to the Feds. I am sick and tired to people saying "Bagi told random people about the murders". List of islanders Bagi actually told: Roier, Bad, Pac, and Mike. All who were in one way or another connected to enigmas themselves. People who she knew had more information about Cellbit past or that she thought deserved to know for their own safety.

Bagi never called Cellbit a monster or even insinuated he would hurt the eggs, I really don't know where this misinformation came from. In the separate scenes of Bagi and Bad confronting Cellbit they were they quite literally saying he was more than a murderer, and that he was being consumed by his history of violence

(Also, I get it that watching your blorbo drown in blood is fun and all. But like, did you watch Cellbit's story and believe he turned back into a murderer and being brought back to the violent cycle he was forced into is a good thing? Did watch him seeing his childhood room for the first time and asking himself what he did to deserve to be taken away from his family and made to kill people to be able to survive? Did you see that and then when he told Bagi he didn't care if he died again because he died enough time and did not get that Cellbit murdering people is also him losing grasp on the importance of life itself? Did you not get that this was not a developing arc for him? This was him at his fucking worst after having the best things in his life taken again, again and again. Murder was not enrichment for him, it was a poison that killed parts of him too)

Anyway. That is for now. I think. Just a lot of shit I needed to get out of my chest.

after talking with other people i feel like there really is a disconnect between everyone who has other povs they still have left and everyone who just lost all of their povs (the french)/lost most of their pov's lore (bbh with dapper and pomme). like everyone is stressed and some people are making jokes and i get it i really do i like humor in dark situations, but like... this is the worst case scenario that's happened for everyone who did lose everything. pomme said she wasn't coming back to the server and the french cc all said they wouldn't be coming back if she didn't. i don't feel like joking right now. this situation isn't like the previous two cc who were removed for their own actions, this one was because the studio didn't attempt anything to try to retain a whole language after frequent year-long workplace abuse. this doesn't feel like goofy lore drama anymore it's like, wow we really did lose everything. all because nobody in the upper staff knew how to dm an admin. i wish them well is a nice sentiment and all but i feel a little bit callous to it when the reason they're leaving is that no one talked to them. it was all preventable. no shit sherlock of course i'm upset and my posts reflect that. i wish every post i made being critical of this didn't come across like doomposting. even if qsmp recovers all of the parts i loved most got uselessly cut off in the process. there's not much left i can go back to. even if they replaced pomme's actor there's not going to be cc to come back for that. there's just going to be a hole in the server now when i watch. i feel like i'm going through every stage of grief. i don't want the server to burn down, i'd love to see it continue, but i'd be lying if i said i wasn't terribly bitter about everything.

GUYS I HATE TO SAY IT BUT TUBBO AND PHILZA ARE BOTH FLAWED PEOPLE AND GUARDIANS!!!!! They are currently mentally unstable and that’s interesting and also bad for their kids.

Both are negatively impacting Chayanne with different choices they’re making. Neither realize how much Chayanne has internalized his hero complex nor do they realize the negative impacts this is going to have in the future.

I could write a lot more, but as someone who loves both stories happening seeing so much in-fighting in this fandom space suuuucks.

If the people who are actually playing and interacting genuinely had a problem between themselves, they would talk to each other, they dont need you to defend them. THEY ARE FRIENDS!! I know it's easy to get caught up in LORE and in-game stuff, but remember, ITS IN GAME!! I love Team Bolas, but the actions the characters take are in a game! I have seen every single one of these, Rubuis was a carry over from squidcraft, Roier was in combo with Cellbit, Pol was because he’s old enough to be Tubbo’s dad, Baghera was because art of them looked similar early on, Etoiles was because Tubbo can’t have friend they must be his dad, Slime and Mariana was through Sunny, and Foolish is I can’t even explain that one.

Hello, hello! The Ghostie with the penchant for long rambling walls of text here to give her unwarranted two cents on the current disagreement between the Tubblings and the Crows!

I'm offering my take as a purely unbiased outsider

(Yes, us Ghosties may be married to the Tubblings but when I first joined the Qsmp Fandom I was a Crow and a Crow only, before I died and became a Ghostie. Thus, while I like both qTubbo and qPhil I don't watch either of them often, ergo unbiased :D )

who has no real reason to attempt to villainise or place either character on a pedestal because to put it bluntly, they are not my cubito.

Without further ado I will begin my ramble.

Today's ramble of course comes with the disclaimer that with me not being a qTubbo or qPhil main there may be areas of their character that I'm not aware of since I don't watch every single one of their streams! Feel free to correct me on literally anything you think I've mischaracterized about your main just please be understanding that nothing is done with malicious intent! :)

I'm not attempting to paint either character as a villain in this ramble, I'm just publishing this in hopes to allow each community to understand that neither cubito is perfect and that's okay!

Okay! For anyone missing context; the current disagreement began when Tubblings expressed feeling happy that Chay was able to be a kid around qTubbo as opposed to being serious with qPhil then the Crows reminded the Tubblings that qTubbo is also attributing to Chay's hero complex through him acting as Chay's egg and asking Chay to protect him. Which has caused both sides to instinctively protect their cubito and is causing arguments within their communities.

As a Ghostie who is more than willing to write 1000 words to raise awareness, and is frankly sick of infighting within the QSMP fandom (it's why I left twitter, please don't bring it here 🫠) I figured I'd try to help 'squash the beef' if you will.

Polite discussions about cubito conflict is fine, going for each other's throats over character takes...yeah let's not do that! :D

Firstly, everyone has to recognize that Chayanne has an almost toxic hero complex. He's had it since the beginning of the server and while neither qPhil or qTubbo is doing it on purpose they are BOTH feeding into it!

He has an overwhelming urge to protect others with no regard for his own safety or wellbeing at times. In the beginning it only extended to eggs. As the older sibling he had a sense of responsibility over them, which was cute! But now it's borderline toxic although it's become so normalized as such a core part of Chayanne's character that no one recognizes it's no longer a healthy mindset.

Now Tubblings can make the defense that qTubbo isn't being entirely serious or that he doesn't truly expect Chay to put his life on the line for him but I watched him look Chayanne in the eyes and BLAME HIM FOR NOT PROTECTING 'HIS EGG'.

Even if that was immediately reincarnated qTubbo who was a little fucked up in the head, even if he no longer fully blames him, even if qTubbo was joking at the time, he looked that kid dead in the eyes and told him it was his fault. Tell me again how qTubbo isn't unintentionally feeding his complex?

Yes qTubbo allows Chay a more carefree space away from his overwhelming need to protect his younger sister and a space to be more relaxed.

Yes qTubbo is joking about a lot of things and a lot of the out of pocket shit he says isn't intended to be taken completely seriously.

BUT you cannot fully disagree with the Crows when they say that qTubbo feeds the complex too. BECAUSE HE DOES, JUST NOT ON PURPOSE THE SAME AS qPHIL!

qPhil is so used to his son being the strong warrior that he doesn't realize that that character trait is actively damaging his son's mental state. His attention is divided between Chay and Tallulah and since Tallulah is more open to talking about her issues he often isn't as attentive to Chay.

Is that a bad thing? Yes!

Is it intentional on qPhil's part? No!

Is it something the Crows need to recognize that qPhil does which unintentionally allows his son to continue to struggle with his hero complex? Yes!

qPhil loves his son unconditionally AND qPhil feeds Chayanne's hero complex are two statements that can and do coexist

qTubbo let's Chay be more of a child AND qTubbo feeds Chayanne's hero complex are two statements that can and do coexist

And as long as both the Crows and Tubblings are willing to understand that neither cubito is perfect and THERE'S NO USE FIGHTING OVER PIXELS then we're good!

AGAIN, any severe mischaracterization you feel I may have included is unintentional and feel free to correct anything you feel like I'm misconstruing, they're not my main cubitos so there may be somethings that qTubbo or qPhil mains find to be untrue to the source

Hey QSMP French community, I need to tell you this since everyone likes to say the opposite: You're allowed to feel angry and upset! It's not doom posting, it's not lack of empathy.

They're lacking empathy FOR YOU GUYS! All the French admins are gone (it's not even a "if" situation, THAT'S REALITY), and we won't know if they'll ever receive at least financial compensation even though they quit or were "fired".

The future is uncertain even for the CCs, who might follow Lumi's footsteps something they previously claimed they would do.

And that's not even mentioning some community reactions, especially the harassment Lea is getting despite doing the right thing.

It's absolutely insane for people expecting you to smile and still hold out hope for the future. It's absolutely insane the lack of humanity. The lack of support.

You guys more than anyone have the right to feel mad over the work abuse they suffered and the constant exclusion. And if you don't feel optimistic that's completely understandable!

And for those who aren't French: try to put in their place a little. Try to be more understanding. I feel like you guys aren't fully grasping what has been going on. It isn't something small. It's something very serious. It's not about vague ass messages saying "oh this suck hope you get better, anyways!".

I guess, like, more I was trying to say was Léa's testimony is being thrown out again because people are nitpicking her words to death and back. I feel like I'm going fucking crazy watching people discuss whether Léa is worth listening to after she outright talks about the amount of crunch Quackity was putting employees through with the "he thought of the prison event five days before and then we had to make it in that time." Like whether or not you like it or want to keep giving Quackity benefit of the doubt he has to outright know the negligence and the amount of crunch that would put workers under? I don't care about debating Léa's morality I care about employees being paid fairly and treated with respect. I care about how she and Lumi was in chat corroborating with how the admins had a meeting and were planning to make a three-week-long story of Pomme being missing without ever contacting Lumi after icing her out of any official communication. not everything has to make sense, there will be mistakes, retcons, imperfections, jokes that get turned into canon, etc. its a story made by HUMANS, not everything is written down and remembered and edited like a book or script. this is rp.

if you are mad at bad for "messing with canon" consider that the admins gave him permission, he is trying to continue lore that has been put on pause like three times by now, and create fun content while helping gather cookies so eggs DONT DIE

gray area, it doesnt have to make sense, you dont have to connect everything to purely fiction or purely out of character. i promise you it doesnt, its not that important, mistakes can be made, things can be weird. this isnt a purely serious all intensive highly edited tv show, its a roleplay with like 30+ people all with pcs with individual lore.
