Zombiegal Kawaii: basically dead, hardly anyone even knew about her

Houkai Gakuen 2 (aka Gun Girls Z; GGZ): Next child, oldest, small and niche but dedicated fanbase, still going in CN server. Very gay and depressing, incredibly convoluted lore.

Honkai Impact 3rd: Took after GGZ a lot then became the favorite child. Still gay and depressing but more hopeful. Definitely a lesbian. They also really like flashy combat, philosophy, and science fiction.

Genshin Impact: The popular kid, and spoiled brat. They're very bisexual and very into religious themes and every culture and myth imaginable.

Tears of Themis: Probably the only cishet male child. Their fans are fewer but well fed and satisfied. (I dont know nearly enough about their story and themes to know its personality tho)

Honkai Star Rail: Takes a lot from big sis hi3rd (depressed but hopeful gays), and probably genderfluid. Ppl love it, theyre popular but it doesnt get into their head as much compared to Genshin. They're also really into exposed shoulders and internet memes.

Zenless Zone Zero: New kid on the block with furries and cyborgs. They are the youngest, most punk, and definitely into western action rpgs more than their older siblings.

being a self-inflicted video game difficulty snob is such a fucking curse, like i am constantly telling people to try a lower difficulty if they're not having fun with a game but i am like completely incapable of taking my own advice. i'm playing through pathfinder wrath of the righteous and i got stuck on a spot where i was forced after like two hours of repeated attempts to take the difficulty off of core rules to progress, and i feel so shit about it that i feel the need to start the whole game over and build my girl better as penance.

okay so in Iona's inventory, i've had this necklace

since very early in act 1.

it was in Aradin's chest at the Grove, and it was the first thing "we" managed to get with the "I distract them with conversation/busking and you steal everything that isn't nailed down" act/trick I had thought up for her and Astarion. I thought it'd be kinda cute for him to, at the end of this test run, present it with a ~theatrical flourish~ once just out of earshot of its original owner, and for her to ~graciously allow~ him to drape it around her neck, as a hamfisted and silly act of mock-courtship they both know is false. (it was kind of a... "we both know what this is all about and where it's headed, but wouldn't it be fun to play make-believe and pretend it's something entirely different" type of thing.)

I thought it'd be cute, if a touch bittersweet for her to keep it, just slotted away in her little "sentimental items" pouch, like.... next to the dog toy, her old wedding band, and the other useless junk she couldn't bring herself to throw away or sell.

and then today, i found this as I was selling stuff in the Glittering Gala.

it's the same design. and i like to describe Iona's eyes as "amber" when I write about them (they're kind of a reddish/yellowish, pretty medium brown). and she looks much better in golds and reds than she does in blues and silvers.

so. um.

guess who got this bloody thing "sneaked" into her inventory at the long rest.

if you think i won't 1.) exit a trading screen abruptly, 2.) switch controlled characters, 4.) buy a silly and utterly useless junk item AS that character (thought about just picking her pocket but.... we have 35k gold. why would i.), and 4.) keep it in that character's inventory until it "seems like" the PC isn't "paying attention", and then 5.) drop it into their inventory "unnoticed", all for LITERALLY NO GOOD REASON other than just to act out a silly little gesture and support the little fanfic in my head, well.

you'd be very wrong.

Pre-betrayal Goro in Saes palace getting grappled and thrown by some shadow, and Ryuji being Ryuji goes to catch him bc like thats kind of a normal thing that happens in fights, and he tries to make sure no one lands flat on their ass (it fucking Hurts). And he positions himself to catch Goro, expecting him to be light like Yusuke or Akira, and instead gets fucking sent flying across the room, wind knocked out of his damn lungs bc Goro hits like a fucking freight train. Hes so incredibly Dense and heavy like Ann and it completely throws Ryuji off. Hes like ‘what the HELL are you fuckin eatin man?’ once he catches his breath and Goro is like (pink, slightly flustered) ‘If i were anyone else, id tell you that was a very rude thing to ask; dont you know not to comment on someones weight?’

“Man thats not what I meant you fuckin’ drama queen; i meant youre built like a brick wall. If i knew you were the gym bro type, I wouldve fixed myself to catch you better.”
