Have any HolyGhost shippers seen Will Branner’s audition tape for Max, because they’d get a kick out of it. That boy is beyond WHIPPED for Grace 10x more there. I won’t show due to it being behind a paywall, but it’s the scene where Grace and Max interact for the first time and when Grace off screen does her chanting to cancel the dance, Will as Max literally dramatically grabs the wall behind him and his eyes go wide all dreamy like as if he just saw an angel. It was fr a “get you someone who looks at Grace the way Max looks at her” moment for a second. Also in the tape he says “Chastity, why can’t you take a hint? You’re my girl got it?” all softly, sigh he’s so problematic yet beyond whipped.

Oh and during the “nuns, librarians” line, in the tape he says “stepmom” too so…take that as what you will lol.

I saw a post about how people need to stop tagging Grace/Max stuff as holy ghost 'cause it cloggs up the tag and just confuses everyone and yeah I agree but also I have to say it's so funny to me to imagine just your average Christian looking for posts about the holy spirit and finding a horny fundamentalist teenage girl making out with an equally horny ghost instead

Oh and did I mention they're both serial killers?

dirty girl obviously gives a lot of insight into grace as a character. but i don't think enough people talk about her fantasy version of max. of course, his lyrics foreshadow his fate and that's very important, but just watch him through the whole song.

he pretends to not care at first, but his eyes are always glued to her. yes it's funny when his finger twirling makes grace dizzy, but then she does the same to him, his head swaying side to side as he watches her.

grace's fantasy is not to have max in charge. it may look like it from an outsider's perspective but it's her in control, max looking up at her with stars in his eyes.

Call me crazy but I think it’s okay to ship HolyGhost/Jagertitty so long as you acknowledge Grace’s trauma and that Max’s behavior towards her wasn’t okay. But once you take that into consideration, people can have fun with the ship all they want. The appeal (for me personally I can’t speak for others) is that they’re both zany messed up/batshit people in their own ways and they’re just fun and interesting to pair as a duo especially since Grace has so much power over Max. But I completely understand why people don’t like the ship, I just don’t like seeing people assume HolyGhost fans like the bully x victim trope cause lord I do NOT. HolyGhost to me is peak when Grace can put Max in his place.
