Shuake Week Day Seven: Music

I'm just thinking about if akira was able to pull akechi out when the doors closed in the engine room

they manage to get him out of shido's palace and he can't go back to his apartment, so akechi needs to stay in hiding in akira's room at leblanc

sojiro still has a soft spot for akechi, so of course he let's him stay. how could he say no when akechi is all alone, and looks like he was hit by a truck ("just what did you kids get yourselves into?")

they have takemi come over to check on him, and a couple of the others drop some things off for them

but now akira and akechi are confined to akira's room together and have to talk out their issues

bonus if they end up sharing akira's bed♡

WIP Wednesday: Fictober 2022 Previews

Back again for my fourth year of Fictober!

The prompts came out a little late this year, so I've decided to not use betas this year as I don't have the time to work on these and then send them off to my usual preview readers, so this year's fictober is gonna look a little rough.

Down below are previews of what I've written on at least two of my fics this year, the first being my yearly Mitsuhide fic. The second is gonna be my return to Comte angst after having a bit of burnout at the end of fictober last year.

Regular warnings apply, raw text, not edited. CW for pregnancy mentions in both sections and implied complications in Comte's section.

You turned further away, feeling your ears burn. Mitsuhide poked you again.

"Come now, Little Mouse, these oranges I worked so hard to pick for you will rot at this rate."

You tense, feeling the craving for the sweet tanginess of oranges come over you so suddenly. True, you had told him you liked oranges before, but the craving coming over you was intense.

"[Name]," Mitsuhide said more firmly, the sound of a round fruit rolling on a plate catching your attention.

He had his thumb placed at the top of the orange, the rind giving easily to quick, gentle pressure. He put half a piece to his mouth, bit down and the juice dribbled down his chin. You swallowed, hard.

"But… you can't taste anything-"

"It's wet," he said simply, licking his lips sensually. "Cool on the tongue. Little sticky if I had to give it one flaw."

He finished off his little piece, licking the remaining juice from his fingers, making sure to look you in the eye while doing so.

"You know that I would anything for her… for them…" Comte brushed her damp bangs out of her eyes, closed in an uneasy sleep.

"Even risking turning her?" Leonardo said pointedly, glaring at his old friend.

"Blanc and Rouge aren't doing as well as we had hoped. It has to be a pureblood's essence."

"And what happens if you lose both of them? What then?"

"We have to try something, Leonardo. I can't stand to see her in pain, not for a minute longer."

Leonardo glared, staring down the other vampire, his teeth grinding together.

"Fine… but we're using a sterilized knife. No need to get your teeth involved."

Comte smiled, tired, but relieved.

"Thank you, mon ami."

"I'll go ask Sebas for a sharp one." Leonardo turned with the speed only a pureblood could manage, his coat tails trailing behind him.

Comte turned his attention back to his cherie on the bed, pale but still breathing. His kissed her fevered forehead, brushing back more of her sweat-dampened hair. His other hand trailed down her side, to her swelled abdomen covered by the thin sheet. He pressed his hand into her, feeling a tiny heart beneath his hand against what he could only assume was his child's back.

"So strong." Comte said tenderly, his smile soft despite his fatigue. "The union of a human and a pureblood."

His eyes turned back to his love, his smile turning to a frown.

"I'm sorry, ma cherie." he said, sadly, "this… all of this… none of us knew that this was even possible. For purebloods and humans to be able to reproduce together… and now you're suffering because of it…"

His hand trembled in her hair.

"If I could take away your suffering, all of it… you know that I would. But it's becoming harder and harder to find viable options. I thought that the Rouge would help as it's the closest to the real thing, but even that is starting to fail."

His breath shuddered, struggling to keep his voice even as he spoke to her.

"If nothing else works… if my blood isn't enough…

Ur megaten takes r always sublime like I want so bad to go back to the narrative consistency we had in p3 but good writing doesn’t move units the way stock tropes and fan service do

its sad but true 😞 i enjoy the camp of 5 but the narrative is so messy bc of how they have so out of character moments for a joke or to rush storyline along. which stands out so bad bc the game is literally abt trauma like what. p3 was airtight story wise and p4 understood its own narrative and kinda perfected the formula (with some flaws cuz the gender identity stuff got so messy at times) but with 5 its this constant disconnect. like if anns whole problem was that she felt oversexualized at every turn why the fuck is the narrative oversexualizing her 😐 and why are the guys doing it in fanservicey cutscenes for a 'joke' but no where else 😐😐😐 like theyre copying the junpei/yukari thing but see yukari wasn't being coerced into intimacy with her teacher

So when i initially started this drawing i was like "hm are there any nurse outfits in cannon" and i was like "you know what. I bet Maruki had some nurses that were shadows." and that lead to this! It's not polished AT ALL because i was drawing it for fun, initially, and then the sunk cost fallacy kicked in and i had to finish it to include in the post because it'd already taken me a hot minute to get to you + i'd spent too much time goofing off drawing this to just post your thing with no explanation aside from work, so. Here!

Been doing more writing then drawing lately, which is a given with commissions. Still, I'm slowly chipping away at the Yongen-jaya assets.

I also fixed up Akechi's sprites. I rushed them out for this joke post a while ago. The anatomy mistakes and messed up argyle pattern were bugging me this whole time. And his outline is now properly rendered. The differences probably only matter to me, but. I have to stare at them more then anyone else so.

I was originally going to post more about Lesbianbreakers Mode today, but I'm going to save that for when I have visuals for it. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to nurse this cold with a long nap.

also deaf saiki au. just search deaf saiki on my blog i post a shit ton for it.

this is powers version where he doesnt know till highschool, and hes profoundly deaf, zero hearing at all. nobody knew at all for wayyy too long because he was born deaf and with all his powers but specifically his telepathy, well, he never knew something was super off (never found the germanium ring, and no telepathy blocker for kuusuke)

basically just. a long scene where saiki is talking about uow its so annoying when his school does the vision and hesring tests, as, for some odd reason, hes never been able to hear the beeps coming from the hearing test. he says that it HAS to be because his powers are interfering with the machine somehow

anyways. he then goes onto struggle to read the nurse giving the test's mind on which side they played the sound. if he says it too early on accident it'll be super suspicious. if he says it late it might seem as if he has difficulties hearing (lmfao)

i think it would make a funny fic lmfao. and then him complaining to either his brother or one of the other psychics (+ akechi (tm)) and theyre just (or kuusuke mainly) confused because why would his powers even interfere with that?? and its not like saiki knows so yknow

What a beautiful soul, not many healers of that time were so respectful towards the wounded. You truly were to be admired, Kennyo would find you the only trustworthy healer to help those who were injured, he knew you would keep the patient’s personal information privacy.
