I bookmarked this for a long time without ever reading. Then someone recommended it as an example of a series with an interesting “difference in status” romance so I started following it. They’re both so cute ;w;

Summary Johann Pertan is the top student in school, for both his looks and his brains, as expected of a Duke’s son, even if he’s just the third-born. But suddenly, low-ranked Elena Evoy, a poor count’s daughter, surpasses him in the class rankings!??!!! Baby boy’s never been challenged like that before. Of course, you gotta know your enemy first to defeat them. So he starts observing her. It’s just observation, your honour. No stalking here.  Shocker, he starts to fall in love? What a twist.

Rating: I enjoyed my time reading this It’s a light, enjoyable series. The MCs are just 2 cute puppies. ;w; Wish there was a bit more ~drama~ at the ending but I was definitely interested enough to keep up with updates weekly, the second the new chapter dropped. Status (as of 20 Feb 2023) 100% complete. No side stories. ;A;

I read "Observing Elena Evoy" and i can say that JOHAN IS THE CUTEST ML I'VE EVER SEEN

The story is really similar to the manga "Last Game" and i really liked it!!

The ml is excellent in everything he does, he has looks, brains, talents. But then, the fl comes and she's even better than him

The ml is such a cutie pie, he's adorable, nice, gentle, soft. He's like a golden retriever omg

Our baby boy is so whipped for Elena

The fl is a kuudere, she's cool, impassible, responsible, hard-working, doesn't care about what people think of her and is super duper smart!

I love their dynamic, their interaction are just so cute. We love a smart ass couple.

Well i guess the romance will be a slow burn one but i don't care bc they are just so lovable.

Anyway this manhwa really became one of my fav shojo.

It really makes me happy to have such a puppy like and adorable ml, with no toxic trait he's just a sunshine. While the fl is not just stupid and reckless, she's super smart and cold headed. She takes care of herself and can defend herself too.

Everything about it makes it great, the setting which is an academy, the characters, the vibe, and something that we almost never see, THE STORY IS TOLD BY THE ML!!!! IT'S FROM HIS POINT OF VIEW WHICH IS GREAT AND REFRESHING.

So if you need some cuteness go read it!!! It's on going with 29 chapters

8/10, the art style is very soft and aesthetic to look at, however, the first chapter is kinda confusing and it is half boring.

7/10, the characters are good and loveable, however, it doesn't really suit my taste of fantasy and action, but i guess it's alright
