Started playing "The Kid at the Back" by @fantasia-kitt & I gotta say, I love those silly mfs. Here's my MC Rei, I'm just gonna add more shit about him in my next post. Also here's a full sprite of him:

One of my favorite twisted wonderland aus is Yuu as chernabog from fantasia

It's just really fun

Because chernabog is the Disney equivalent of the devil

chernabog is the big man, the guy in command, the looming mountain casting a shadow of fear, he's more powerful than Hades and Maleficent.

And have you seen him in house of mouse? He's just having a good time

Like he goes from threatening demon in a Mountain

To just a chill tall guy

And he gets along fine with the other villains, similar to Yuu

He's even somewhat chill with Frollo

And it makes sense that Yuu is unable to use magic because Chernabog could just be unable to use his powers without sacrifices or he's conserving power

During "It's Our House Now!", Maleficent transformed into a dragon and sat with Chernabog, whom complimented her work. Similar to how Yuu compliments Malleus

UnderJafar's command, Chernabog took the role as a bouncer, throwing Mickey, Donald, and Goofy out when they attempted to "dethrone"

Jafar, is similar to how Jamil controlled Yuu in order to have them stay and help dethrone Kalim

Heck he even gets knocked unconscious during sports, is associated with the dead, is chatty when you get to know him, loves gossip, has little to nothing known about their past or home

In conclusion

If Yuu isn't revealed to be Cherabog by the end of the game

This is Warwick the ranger. He/him. Raised in the countryside by a miller who found him as a baby floating in a boat. Possibly an heir to the throne. Drinks too much. Wants to be a slut but a bit too insecure to follow through.

This is Mersilde the Sorceress. She/her. Raised as a herb witch in the wilderness by her grandfather. Discovered and trained by the previous magical advisor to the throne, the position to which she has recently ascended.

This is Dami the Paladin. She/her/they/them. Born of a noble house. Likes to punch above her weight class. Renowned draugr slayer. Enjoys tournaments a little too much, reigning champion in the sword and shield bouts for three years running.

This is Frett the Bard. Half-orc. He/him. Abandoned as a baby at a tavern in a busy town and raised by its halfling innkeeper. Learned his bardic and bedroom skills from the many wandering bards who frequented said tavern. Absolute himborc. Wants you to enjoy his baking. Frequently forgets how big he is.

This is Reuben the rogue. He/him. Trans. Raised in a thieves guild. Sardonic, deadly, guarded, big cat energy but secretly just wants you to hold him in your big strong green arms.

Shabbir the mage. They/them. Naturally magically gifted, fled their home city where they grew up as a street orphan. Learned the ways of the nobility and is now a magical advisor to the throne.

David the knight. He/him. Working class hero. Worked his way from squire to knighthood. Second place in the tournament circuit for the last three years. Would like to slay a dragon.

Prince Kirian. He/him. Heir to the throne. Complete slut, tamed by the charms and backtalk of Shabbir. Loves his horses and his armour. Rumours of a lost twin.

How my main has changed from ARR to today. ARR was a steady all-time miqote where the only thing that kept changing was her hairstyle. Heavensward was where the fantasia abuse started.

Yeah... in the end it became male au ra.

In Stormblood and Shadowbringers, the Au Ra male stayed.

Endwalker came with the male buns, and fantasia was welcomed once more. I thought I was finally done.. but by yesterday...

All three of my characters are Elezen. Now to see if it sticks, and that my fantasia budget can stay still a while!

I got so curious about Nira’sae being a “former Miqo’te” and I just read the Carrd and. W O W 👀‼️ that’s such a cool n fun game reason to have used a fantasia

How have they been adjusting to the new shape? Do they miss having their cat tail?

it could definitely be going a lot worse!

they're definitely more clumsy, now - being that much taller, and also no longer having the tail for balance threw them off significantly at first, but they've more or less adjusted at this point.

(i think the partial amnesia at the beginning of Endwalker helped them adjust a LOT. they didn't remember the miqo'te-ness, leaving a blank slate for re-learning!)

there are a few things that carried over, though.

they're excessively expressive, for a viera, for one thing. those ears are moving constantly and they can hide nothing. and their teeny little bunnytail is no exception. that thing absolutely wags when they're happy/excited. (is wag the right word? who knows.)

Michelle does NOT know how to speak but bcuz of some things she learned abt Mortimer, she can speak but using few words (example: "you me together")

Let's say that Michelle in this universe is 40% animal. She has certain behaviors as if she were a mammal but she also has "human" characteristics (EVEN THOUGH SHES A FURRY)

Michelle's design is a reference to the movie "Fantasia(1940)"

I started playing FFXIV now I think a little over 10 years ago. This is kinda my characters fantastical (Or should it be fantasia addicted?) journey from her Miqote beginings, to the small female Au Ra, a small trip into testing female Roegadyn, to Male Au Ra. The malera stuck a while, before I once again tried female Roe (I do love them, I do, but well) then female elezen whom I also loved but did not quite feel right. So back to Au Ra male, which stuck until Endwalker came with their Buns. I swapped the instant it was out, and I have not looked back since. I would lie if the occasional tempation to try something else doesn't arise, but it is very quickly shut down with the knowledge that I would change back in a heartbeat, because I would miss him too much.

Now to just wait and see where Dawntrail takes me and him for our new journey and "vacation" 😎
