I don't think I've ever posted them here before... but these are my longstanding magical girl ocs (Heart:Beat Magical Girls!)!!! The premise is that they're each powered by a specific emotion felt toward them, and that emotion is also one they feel very strongly themselves (pink is love, phoebe is fear, avery is hate, rose is jealousy)! They all also have a little robo-animal alien companion that comes from a robot planet that's threatened by other 'computer virus' aliens and had to seek help on earth (the robot animals transform into headsets when their partner is in battle mode). Pink (main character) also has a secret life as a professional gamer with a specialty in rhythm games (high school student by day). That's the most important strokes. I may post more about these guys laterrrrr. and i'll update them on artfight. some time. OH and the little mouse is Click, Pink's mouse/computer mouse companion. yay.

Meet Avery, the Wild Lamia!

Avery is a wild lamia, having been raised under the Law of the Jungle.  Beneath her feral, somewhat scary demeanor lies a silly, ditzy young snake woman who enjoys a good squeeze and tease with her prey.  Her big, fangy smile is genuine and passionate, though her spontaneous tendencies do tend to put her and her prey in trouble.

Unlike most lamia, Avery is not very good with hypnosis and finds it difficult to comprehend.  To this extent, she’s rather susceptible to being hypnotized, though it’s never turned out well for anyone who’s tried.  She is, however, incredibly well-equipped with her coils and can easily squeeze her prey into submission.  Just be careful when facing down her scaly tail—she’s a hugger.

She particularly enjoys those she finds pretty, often taking bits of clothing for herself after subjecting them to a long, hard squeeze within her scaly coils.  She doesn’t need the glasses she wears on her face—she just thought they looked pretty on a lady she caught, and wanted to look pretty as well.

She might not have the best taste in fashion, but she’s trying.

Avery is technically a princess/warrior mix

I honestly did NOT feel like drawing a tank every time I wanted to draw Tristen, so I kinda just did my own thing for his design? At this point it’s really more just gun than tank. (His metal hand can be interchanged for a weapon, and the mechanism on his back is a defense mechanism for moves like repair that can be activated via a button on his headset)

Solstice gets a little skirt because otherwise the design felt empty

this oc is one of the oldest ones i have, i think he's the first one i put on my toyhouse so he's at LEAST 3.3 years old. i didnt really change much about his design, i just got better at drawing lol. the og ref sheet of him was traced over maes hughes... this time i was completely free hand but referencing it. i plan on redrawing the whole sheet lol

i think his design persisted in my creation of shaed's og design + carmine's new design. i love drawing red hair if im honest.

he originally had like. dead skin? like he was half dead. i think just having a big scar and facial paralysis makes more sense. oh and the original mole was an accident that i liked so i kept it (how most of my ocs get beauty marks tbh)
