Sooooo as a lot of you know I write a bunch of music for @urbanqhoul for Whimsy’s REM World! I decided to make an oc for his silly little world and because I’m a basic bitch I made a musical fella named Coda.

I like to imagine they are offscreen making all of the music for Whimsy and Angel’s shenanigans uwu

Mixing Blacktober w Cringetober prompts. The 1st being Heterochromia 👍🏽

Coda beloved....

being a single parent is, understandably, extremely frustrating. being a single parent in a land in a constant state of terror and surveillance is even harder. he loves his kiddo, but sometimes he wishes she wasn't around.

they are pretty convinced that their creator is never going to return, but instead of being bitter about it like Eris, they see it as being given freedom. they control their own life now. Coda should be thankful, if anything, that they're gone.

this character is still being developed tbh but I have a sneaking suspicion that he's some kind of runaway royalty. Pen was thrust into the position of queen as a nobody, and Coda ran away from their home to become a nobody.

he knows that Pen is oh-so-very angsty about her role, and is THIS close to telling her to just run away with him already. her subjects can manage themselves; she's been a good enough queen to establish a good foundation for a successor to step up to the plate. but Coda has too much respect for Pen to do much more than tease and hint.

he's kind of scared of his child. I'm not quiite certain on the kid's origins yet, but what I DO know is that they're something very strong and very dangerous. fun lil sideplot!
