since i don't have enough drawings to make an end of the year summary, here are some of my drawings and wips that i couldn't upload this year.

2023 has left me worn out physically and mentally, and if you noticed my art and commentary being dryer as a result of that, i'm truly sorry. so many things have been happening relentlessly, both globally and personally, without much break that it's been bleeding into all aspects of my life. i've been slowly losing my enjoyment over art and my own ocs that i've forgotten what they meant to me. i want to be passionate again about art but i've learned that forcing it doesn't help either. and yet, still, there are people supporting and waiting for me. thank you.

i normally don't make these kinds of post because this happens way too often for my liking (across. multiple websites 😭) and this is embarrassing for me to share, but i think i can let out some of my weariness at the end of the year and start over with a clearer head.

in january i'll be starting another internship at a hotel for 6 months, so i'll probably be inactive for that duration. maybe i'll reexamine my relationship with art or maybe i'll take a break from drawing indefinitely.

in any case, lets meet again in 2024.

Basic info about them (From left to right):(Paramedic) Juniper Torres-Müller, A Maria X Tomoe fankid (I love Erhard/Maria/Tomoe as a ship), stuggling as the next leader of the Tachibana clan, and struggling with Müllers past, she wants to live up to everyones expectations.

(Diagnostison) Delphine Holden (A Holden x Fan oc ship) Stuggling with living as Holdens 2nd child after the 1st died so soon, and with a mother in such a high role as an ex caduceus member and current lawyer, she feels she can't live up to be either.

(Forensic) Claude Kimiashima: (Naomi x LG) After going parially blind while working as a FBI agent, they kick him off, now being stuck as his backup, a forensic examiner, he comes to term with his vison, peoples expections for the visually impared, and his families unfortunate past.

(Surgeon) Rose "Rosalia" Tachibana Müller (Maria x Erhard) struggling with her fathers past, and her loss of hearing, she wants people to understand her father, herself and her hearing, after hearing about her fathers false inprisonment, she wanted to work in law like Naomi, but seeing what happened to Rosalia, she works in surgery instead.

(Endoscopy) Holly Stiles (Darek x Angie) With grace and elegence, she wants to be diffrent from her parents, even though she could've worked at caduceus, she wants her sense of self, and more importantly, to be seen as diffrent from delphi or her brother, Finn

(Orthapedics) Kenneth 'Finn' Stiles,With a wanting to know about his past, he gets into a dark rabbithole, but still remains just as sharp as his father, and as percise as his mother.

I don't think I've ever properly explained my magical girl manga concept here before, so to catch everyone up:

This is the basic summary of what I'm currently calling

Action-Magic Art Club!!

Basically, a handful of artists all over a city in Japan are mysteriously given powers based on their art styles and mediums. These powers are contained within little vials or pendants containing different art mediums (paints, craft materials, charcoal, pastels, whatever), which grant their users their abilities and are activated when the vial is opened.

The series will follow 4 girls who help the other artists who've been given powers gain better control of their abilities and stop magic-related disasters, while also leading up to a mystery surrounding disappearances in the city they're protecting.. Oh, and cute slice of life shenanigans too.

These are the 4 main characters who are granted these abilities; Shizue, Kagami, Naoki, and Ishi. Each have their own unique powers and styles!

Shizue is a 19 year old trans girl who lives in the city with her younger sister, Kagami. She's a hobbyist artist who makes surrealist paintings with watercolors, and after finding her vial, gains the power to manipulate large amounts of paint into different shapes and states. She tends to be quiet and reserved, and often struggles with strong feelings of anxiety in her day-to-day life. However, despite the challenges she faces, she's very hardworking and responsible, especially after becoming Kagami's primary caretaker at an early age. No matter what comes her way, she does her best to be kind and understanding to the people around her.

Her other interests include gaming, cosplay, and anime.

Kagami, on the other hand, is incredibly energetic, outgoing, and most of all intense in everything she does. She's a 16 year old high school student who likes to draw and write action manga in her free time. Upon finding her vial, she gains the ability to summon short-range magical weapons made of ink. She's very determined and nearly unstoppable when she sets her mind to something, but can sometimes a bit reckless and hot-headed. She's strong, passionate, and would do anything to protect the people she cares about.

Her other interests include alternative music, poetry, & athletics.

Naoki is a 20-year-old Japanese-American immigrant who lives with her girlfriend, Ishi. She's fun, carefree, and does her best to keep the people around her in high spirits. She's a freelance artist that specializes in nature paintings, and when she discovers her vial, becomes able to instantly create plants out of acrylic paint. Although sometimes impulsive, she's optimistic, loving, and always strives to be compassionate.

Her other hobbies include cooking, hiking, swimming, & photography.

Ishi is a 21-year-old storyboard artist for an animation studio. Level-headed, mature, critical, and always honest, she can sometimes come off as cold or blunt, but underneath her stern exterior she feels a deep care and concern for others that guides her above all else. When she finds her vial, she develops the power to create nearly unbreakable structures out of charcoal. Between her work at the studio and her life as a magical girl, she often finds herself overworked and stressed, but no matter what, she'll always make time for her friends when they need her.

In her small amounts of spare time, she enjoys reading, interior design, and TV dramas. (But secretly, she's also a massive nerd who loves fantasy rpgs and loud music to release all the pent up stress in her mind)

Some backstory/dynamic ramblings:

As a couple, Ishi and Naoki tend to bring out the best in eachother, as while Ishi helps bring Naoki down to earth and offers a more realistic approach to Naoki's endless optimism, Naoki helps Ishi to loosen up and recognize when she's been pushing herself too hard, and when it's time to take a break. They care for eachother in their own ways and balance eachother's perspectives in a healthy way.

They met online when they were much younger, when Naoki resided in the US. Their relationship was already strong, but one day after turning 18, Naoki decided to collect her savings and fly overseas to stay in Japan, due to unfortunate circumstances in her home and family life. She had planned to stay with extended family that agreed to take her in, but upon arriving, found an empty house, and the discovery that that they hadn't been seen since the morning before. Ishi offered her a place to stay instead, and they've lived together ever since. Naoki never forgot the kindness and compassion Ishi showed her that day at a time when she was stricken with grief and needed support more than ever; and does her best to pay it forward every day.

As sisters, Shizue and Kagami both care about eachother, but often clash with eachother due to their polar opposite temperaments and outlooks. Shortly before the series begins (roughly a year), their parents disappeared under unknown circumstances, and Shizue as a very young adult was made to step in and act as Kagami's caretaker during investigation. They've both dealt with the loss in their own ways and in some ways it's created a rift between them, but at the end of the day Shizue wants nothing more than for Kagami to be safe and happy, and even though she'd never say it, Kagami secretly looks up to her older sister and appreciates everything she does for her.

I'm not sure when I'll start releasing actual pages as I've still got quite a few things to work out in the story, but I'm excited to write more and I hope you all enjoy it, however it ends up looking when I'm ready to share it with you. ♡

My OC, Ishi (Kristo, or Ishtvan), second protagonist.

I never get to draw it in detail, so I had to use an academic build(don't know how say this, in russian: построение) that I haven't done in 7 years since I dropped out of art school.

He's have cool wife, cool sister and cool cousins and cool whore high boots on holidays. And one eye.

Formerly a hitman (assassin? idk), then a military intelligence officer. Very good husband, very bad person. And not a bad father when he succeeded. Live legend of the continent on which he lived.

Together with his friend created a huge criminal community that seized power in the city-state. He was engaged there in social things and the elimination of people interfering with their work.

For nationality reference - Austrian and Armenian, but he pretends to be a Hungarian, and looks like a very pretty, but very battered Croat.

Your head spun, the air humid. You couldn’t even keep your head straight, you wanted to curl up from the pain. Yet the binds kept you in place. The rope hurt your legs and arms, you could feel the burning rash.

You couldn’t help but cry, the gag muffling your weak pleads for help, and whimpers. Your head hanging low in shame. You don’t even remember what happened, you don’t know how you got there or where are you. Oh, you just wanted to go home. Your thoughts were interrupted by someone opening the window, and walking down the stairs. The kidnapper- you assumed, visited you. How lovely…

The flicked the light switch on, you almost immediately closed your eyes. Hissing in pain. The person chuckled at your poor state.

“You look lovely like this” the kidnapper mused stepping closer to the light.

It was her, the woman who promised to help find your friends. You looked up to her. She smiled widely. Ishi crouched in front of you, before cupping your face into her hands. She cooed when you started crying again. Kissing away your tears.

She smelled like strawberries, it was disgusting.

You trying escaping the kisses, escaping her. Shaking your head violently. You didn’t expect her to grab you by it. Wincing in pain, you stopped what you were doing. Ishi smiled proudly, letting go of it. Kissing your forehead.

“I sadly can’t give you much for now, though I can make your life sweeter. Be good!”

She got up and rushed upstairs. You exhaled deeply. The smell of her still lingered. It made you want to vomit now actually. This was sickening, this was fucked up. What does she want? You hope she slips and gets knocked out so she won’t get back. Your small preys were ignored, because you saw the red head happily rush back to you. Something gleamed in the poor lighting. Your eyes widened. You let out a muffled scream, trashing around. Ishi only laughed.

“Calm down honey pie it’s not for you!”

She crouched before you, extending her arm. You saw her slice it open.

You screamed louder. Ishi put away the knife, so she could grab your face. You faced her, she seemed very giddy and happy. You could swear you see her blushing.

“Here my love, it’s all yours”

She pulled off your gag and forced your head closer to her wounded arm.

“Go on, don’t be shy”

You wanted to puke. She was disgusting. That was cannibalism! But the worst part was that, it looked too gooey, to be blood.

It also didn’t smell like it.

It smelled like strawberries.
