ok so i've sort of been doing bweird OC-tober prompts (link here) under the table but this one required enough typing that i was like. i can make a post for this. the theme is symbol, so i'm going to talk about the color shit i've got going on in karai's chosen (under the cut).

so the guys in karai's chosen are divided into two groups: nine immortals who decided to gift powers to eight unfortunate individuals and uh. the eight unfortunate individuals who received powers against their will. ten immortals if you count ilia, nine mortals if you count the guy who she gave powers to, but these two are a bit different (see below).

ANYWAY. the idea here was that the immortals' powers gravitated towards people who share their trauma but also people who have similar aura colors to them. i picked the immortal colors literal years ago, when this story looked a lot different, so i kinda had to finagle the mortal colors to fit a little but:

jinal (sky blue, #4CA6C1) - morgan (stormy blue, like #406f87)

haku (orange, around #d67104) - peter (…also orange. but brighter, #ff8503.)

minerva (hot pink, around #DE2565) - juli (baby pink, #ffccef)

ven (yellow, around #ffeb54) - lian (a more pastel yellow, around #ffed91)

kai (forest green, around #0a2b0d) - joshua (a hunter green, something like #3f4f3e)

ridwan (indigo, around #361db3) - rae (plum ish? like #40193d. yes it is a stretch to connect this to ridwan.)

silpa (lavender, around #c499e2) - karyme (regular 'ol purple, like #6e3fab)

felix (turquoise, like #3edeae) - dani (the unholy mix between mint and sage that is #647863)

"sajani why are you just now writing this out" bc auster's power works based off of colors and i need an actual reference point. let's talk about him and ilia a little bit.

auster asked ilia for powers, so there was no need for their aura colors to be compatible; i gave ilia royal blue (#1c19a8) and auster has a bubblegum pink type thing (#e386b0). BUT i am considering doing. something else here to play into the dual-color stuff auster had going on in his original universe. so. stay tuned.

max is silver and no i am not going to give you a hexcode for that. he is intentionally the only character to have a color that's not in the rainbow--and his color also falls between yaran's black and karai's white bc well. that's the spot he occupies. once yaran possesses him, the silver merges with the black into more of a dark grey most of the time.

Fighting quarantine frustrations

Greetings!

My name is Quistan, I'm in my mid-twenties and currently looking for a few more (preferably) long term RP partners! Though I am fine if you wish to play out one idea and then dip out afterwards as long as you talk to me about it :)

A little bit about me first:

As already stated, I'm in my mid-twenties and live in CET (or GMT+1), so this little European bean is currently locked inside their house.

I write in Third-Person past tense and consider myself relatively fluent in English (though I will still make occasional mistakes for which I apologize).

My post lengths usually vary between 200 to 2000 words, depending on the scene. Though as long as you don't send me an one-liner, I absolutely don't mind if you can't match my length! Quality > Quantity!

I usually reply each day, or every other day, depending on what is currently going on. If it takes longer than two days, I will give you a small warning, but I do not ghost - or try to. If it happens, you can expect an apology and an explanation coming your way soon enough. Though I am ghost-friendly myself. So if I don't see you replying within a month without any explanation, I will move on.

As for pairings: I usually go for M/M and F/F. I have been burned by M/F too many times before, but with some convincing, could try again if the pairing has enough chemistry.

What I expect from you:

Please be 18+. While I do not necessarily intend for our RP to contain smut (though I wouldn't mind it, if it fits into the scene), it is merely something so I feel more comfortable, should we plan to implement darker themes.

Be willing to plot with me and not simply go "Yeah okay" to everything. I learned that if both parties plot together, the other person becomes more invested into the plot and is less likely to simply dip without saying anything - This counts even if you choose a pre-written plot by me. We can always expand together!

I enjoy talking ooc about our plot or just simply getting to know you. If I particularly enjoy a plot, I get a little attached and will find myself gladly talking to you and wanting to build a friendship. If you'd rather not talk to your thread partners OOC, then I might not be the right person for you.

Be honest with me. If something doesn't work for you, then don't hesitate to tell me, even if you fear hurting my feelings. Trust me - you won't or at least less than if you lie to me :)

Jeffery Dean Morgan pictured & preferred as Alastor Moody. He is the current leader of the Order since Dumbledore’s death. Longtime friend of Kingsley & Minerva. Moody is a much needed major canon!

Indira Varma is pictured as Minerva McGongall (face is open though). Minerva is the current Headmistress of Hogwarts and former Order lieutenant. Much like King, she stepped away from her role for the Order in current times since the war ended. Long-time friend of Kingsley & Alastor. McGonagall is a much needed major canon!

Viola Davis is pictured & preferred as Millicent Bagnold. She is the Minister of Magic and recently has put in place some controversial regulations in regards to creatures. Is she a victim to the rulings of the Wizengamot court or are these regulations something she truly believes in? Either way, she is a needed major canon!

Jeff Bridges is pictured as Fenrir Greyback (face is open though). Fenrir is leader of the largest pack of werewolves in Great Britain and one of the Ministry of Magic’s most wanted. This man has ties to the Death Eaters. But with these new anti-creature regulations, who knows how he will turn this situation to his advantage or how he feels on the attack on creatures. Fenrir is a much needed major canon!

ilia - you're going to be confronted with an impossible choice soon. it's an unfair choice, and there's no good answer, but... it's okay. it'll feel like you're losing everything, but there are people waiting on the other side who will help you stand back up.

morgan - don't sign that damn contract. stop hoping for more from him. don't trust anyone. grit your teeth and bear it for now, because i think--i think there's an end to this. we can still make something of the road ahead of us, something he can't take from us, but you have to hold on until we get there... i'm going to hold on. no matter what.

peter - pro tip: pack a snorkel mask! it's more fun to dive to the bottom of the ocean when you don't have water in your eyes.

juli - okay so it turns out fire is not the only thing we can do. we can like... make knives and giant flaming octopi and shit! cool, huh? um, yeah, i don't know how to explain how to do all that yet, but um. okay. real advice. it's... not selfish to want to live. stay safe, okay?

lian - okay first off: make the first move. both idiots you like are too silly to tell you that they like you back. second off: be quicker about getting the idiots to tell each other how they feel. this will save everyone a lot of time and pain. also--i was going to say something about karaoke but joshua is glaring at me so um. just... you don't have anything to prove, okay? not to the parents you left behind, not to Ma, and not to yourself. you're loved as you are.

joshua - we've... made a lot of mistakes. we're going to keep making mistakes, but you have to stand up straight and keep walking for joel's sake. and that damn letter--it'll put you through hell of the worst kind, but you'll gain something more precious than you could ever know.

rae - it's okay to smell the roses a little, you know? make no mistake--nothing matters more than the goal ahead--but you can still enjoy life along the way, and it's easier to reach that goal with friends at your side.

karyme - bide your time. it might seem like the stories around you are so much grander than your own, but you have your own part to play. just be patient.

dani - she's wrong about you. you're going to be so much more than what she raised you to be. just give it a few years and you'll see.

auster - okay so. as thrilling as it is to work at a pizza shop. life is a about to become a lot worse very quickly. you'll have to take a big risk--but it's worth it. take the leap.

My OC and Other Characters in DC Super Hero Girls

Kate Morgan D. Jones (My OC) 

- Captain of the volleyball team and Barbara Gordon’s old friend from childhood. Kate is tough, cool, kind, mild tempered and honest, making her someone you can hangout with and someone you shouldn’t mess with. She would beat Doris Zeul (Giganta) in any competition and would win easily, but when fighting crime, she becomes Kaitou Blue Spade, the half demon phantom thief and leader of her own super team, the Vigilante Six. Spade, having half demon powers, can create different weapons, transform into different outfits depending on which skill or weapon to use and can go full on demon mode whenever fighting a strong enemy.

Elmo Sputterspark (Megavolt) (DWD) 

- Science nerd, Kate’s boyfriend and Leslie Willis’ (Livewire) prime target in bullying. Elmo is timid and shy but when it comes to science he’s smart, confident and efficient. He’s super alter ego is Megavolt, co. leader and brains of the Vigilante Six, who also has a bit of a rivalry with Livewire, both having electric powers but unlike Livewire, Megavolt is cunning and patient, using his intellect to come up with a plan at ease. He has similar abilities like Livewire and can hack into any electronics.

Jack McCracker (Quackerjack) (DWD) 

- Class clown and Harleen Quinzel’s (Harley Quinn) prank partner. Jack or Jackie is funny and has a sense of humor with a capital H, he likes to hangout with Elmo or Harleen because well, it’s fun to hangout with friends and he brings along his Mr. Banana Brain doll in school or anywhere else. His super alter ego is Crackerjack, Harley Quinn’s rival, who would Harley calls him a “copycat wannabe”, to which CJ responded that he didn’t copy it but evaluated it instead. CJ has multiple gadgets and toys just like Harley. 

Patricia “Peggy” Robinson (Mine) 

- The most popular girl than Barbara Ann "Barbi" Minerva (Cheetah) is not just rich but generous and sweet, Kate’s BFF and has a talent for gymnastics. On the other hand, she becomes her alter ego, Queen Bee, guardian of the Miraculous artifacts. She has a magical top that she can use to sting or tie enemies, her most powerful attack is Venom, which can paralyzed enemies, just like turning into stone. 

Reginald Bernard (Bushroot) (DWD) 

- Another science nerd but he studies plant and is also shy and timid but very peaceful, has a crush on Pamela Isley (Poison Ivy) and has a dog name Spike. His super alter ego is Bushroot, protector of Earth and mother nature, to which Poison Ivy falls head over heels in love with him. Bushroot has similar powers to Poison Ivy but he also can regenerates himself and has the power to talk to animals.

Buddington “Bud” Bradley Flud III (Liquidator) 

- Peggy’s boyfriend and salesman enthusiast. Heir of Flud Water Industry’s, Bud is charismatic, charming and all around handsome, making him the envy of other guys. His alter ego is the Liquidator, a super powered water being and Livewire’s arch nemesis. He can shape his body into anything and solid artilleries can’t do any affect on him.

I suck at story summaries mostly because I have absolutely no idea what is going to happen next until I write it. I work full time and go to college full time so updates might be sporadic, sorry about that.

This is a Remus Lupin x fem!oc fic. Tried to keep this in 1974/1975 because that is when Lupin would be in his fourth year at Hogwarts. Decent amount of swearing through out, could contain other mature content later. I'm also aware that not everything is cannon. Enjoy the story!
