Im too tired from work to actually work on writing any semi-coherent story so here are some random bg3 headcanons/thoughts/etc. (some not so safe for work because I'm a pervert be warned)
Gale:
Fastidious groomer. Likes to be clean and tidy. Wears cologne, presses his clothes, the whole nine yards.
He's not handling being stranded well. Outwardly? Sure, he's great. Inside? This fucking close, man. 👌
I actually think he's way closer to the edge than people think and it's part of the reason he's quick to deal with Raphael when left in the lurch.
Also, why he's willing to humor (not happily, mind you) an evil Tav. Guy is desperate.
Seriously. First, Mystra. Then the orb. Then his magic. Now he's infested with brain worms, stranded with a bunch of weirdos (one of which is literally a vampire spawn), wrapped in a cult plot, etc. It just keeps getting worse.
It's a lot for a guy who sounds like he had a pretty charmed life up to his big mistake. A super talented Chosen One who had parents who had servants etc. (A few assumptions being made based on his dialogue of course)
Definitely into (and very good at) dirty talk. I bet this guy would be great with a praise kink.
"I like what I see." Yup. That got me. I'm that easy.
I bet he likes a dominate partner. There was no way Mystra was in any way submissive.
Also, a big fan of oral? Just going to throw that out there because why not
Lae'zel
Lae'zel is annoyed by Gale just wanting to talk... at first. I can see her being aggravated at first, then curious, then "dammit why not?" and pursuing him relentlessly.
In fact, playing hard to get seems like a fun angle with her. She has some insecurity I think and the horrible person in me thinks that's adorable.
No negging tho. 1. That's gross but also 2. She'll just beat your ass.
Speaking of which, combat gets her going. Seeing the MC in combat and just killing it? Hot. The MC beating her 1v1? Possibly even hotter.
I totally see her and Tavarti having sparing matches that end with a very horny Lae'zel and a very confused/uncomfortable Tavarti.
She says Wyll is bad at sex but I think its her. Look at those nails.
Wyll
This adorable Disney Prince wannabe.
Cannot spell for shit.
He's probably the most comforting of the companions. Best hugs.
The entire group (Tavarti included) makes fun of him for the "sulphur and orchids" comment.
Did you really fuck a woman who smelled like rotten eggs? And you miss it???
Part of the reason he doesn't judge for hooking up with a vampire spawn. He gets it.
Seriously. He goes after Lae'zel pretty quick. Dude only likes people who are just bad for/to him.
*enter Astarion*
Astarion probably drags his ass for Lae'zel's 1 star review too.
He's actually not very experienced sexually and is pretty willing to beat around the bush and avoid intimacy to hide that fact.
I get the feeling that he embellishes a lot and would not put it past him to simply act the part of stud.
"Hot blooded virgins" indeed
He's definitely a love making kinda guy
Probably didn't help his performance review with Lae'zel.
Mizora seems like a bit of a brat, so brat tamer Wyll sounds like a fun idea.
Brat Astarion and Tamer Wyll ❤
A bard team member and him will team up to make sure the Tadpole Gang has a kickass song and names for everyone.

Arien/Ballister headcanons
This is just a thread of headcanons with Ballister and Arien, an OC made by goldenheart-supremacy. Bro also made fics and arts so go check them, they are really nice to read. Helped me with my headache. First one is focused on Goldenheart, second one includes more stuff with Arien.
Also this post is bloody subjective so I'm not claiming that it would happen if Arien was real.
(also I'm writing it while being sick so It might lack logic)
So there's my impression of dynamics between Ballister and Arien
Throughout fanfic, Arien helps Ballister with flowers, even though at the time Bal had not so good reputation. He does it with "Ugh, fine" attitude since it means actually doing something. But the thigh is, he becomes one of those people who can see the real side of Ballister, even though he doesn't interact with him as much.
Therefore, I think his attitude towards Ballister will obviously change. And for me personally it would change from "Neutral" (you exist, but I don't really care) to "Positive neutral" (you exist, and I'm okay with this).
So at the moment when Ballister hugged him after all his help, I'm sure he didn't really mind it and was pretty much like "Mm, It's fine". I'm also convinced that he pushed Ballister off himself is bc Ambrosius was watching, so the more they stayed like that, more headache he will gain himself in the future. Maybe if Ambi wasn't there, he either will wait for him to let go or will ask "You're done?" if he wears out of patience.
I also think that he might've help him sometimes, not straight up but still. For example: - He might've seen Ballister sneak up to train more, but if guards asked him, he will say he saw nothing (although he might just think "snitches get stitches")
- Flower language. Because what if HE was the one to give the idea to gift Sunflowers? Like if he visited his sister (and she after a talk with Ballister thought about the best option of flowers might've asked Arien about his opinion with no particular context) and suggested sunflowers. Bc now I'm convinced that if this man has a nerdy side then he will be nerd for flowers. Probably will know every meaning and peculiarities.
- Arien might've been one of the reasons Ambrosius understood his feelings for Bal. Bc if someone hugs your "friend" you won't react like that person just kidnapped your puppy.
HOWEVER I also think that he will also not hesitate to help him straight up, just not so active. Like when he gave him his cloak, although he might've not and simply not care. Another thing that caught my sick brain is possibility that Arien helped Bal with training, adding little notes of why Bal wasn't able to do some things correctly (since Arien and other knights were a bit more experienced at the beginning)
Quick to adulthood. I want to think that they sometimes can chat nicely about casual stuff, just getting to know each other nicely without pushing too much, enjoying each other's company. So maybe they will trust each other enough with some personal stuff they don't normally tell people. I just thought about the scene where they both looking at the kingdom from the wall, accidentally meeting each other before, casually talking, which ended up with some deep personal things. And at this exact moment when both will suddenly realize that "Oh. We are friends" or something like that. Bc they won't say it out loud, especially Arien - he will think that it's unnecessary.
That's pretty much it. I can write much more but my brain is dying so no, not today. I'll just leave you with dirty Arien doodle which I tried to draw but ended up hating.

Yours Truly [Epilogue: Sadie]
Summary: Sadie and Chris begin their life together. Pairing: Chris Pratt x OFC, Chris Evans x OFC Word Count: 1905 Warnings: None? A/N: This fic was previously posted on my multi-fandom account; in honor of OC Appreciation Day, I figured I would queue it all up for your reading pleasure throughout the day! This was a collab with @captain-s-rogers , and I will link her chapters at the end of all of my posts! Some GIFs were difficult to find again, so if there’s no credit, they’re from Google Image Search or from the original post.
Tumblr media
The weather was unseasonably warm for mid-to-late November in Kansas, and Sadie couldn’t have been more grateful.
The barn had been converted into a wedding venue over the last few months, and was now set up with lighting, as well as heaters for when the evening cooled. Sunflowers and ribbons decorated the whole place in an understated way, and her bridesmaids, save for Caroline, were setting up the rest of the decor at that very moment.
“Can I put my dress on now?” Layla asked, sighing as she waited as patiently as she could for Sadie to finish curling her hair.
“No ma’am. I told you that you have to wait until the photographer gets here, right before the ceremony.”
Layla sighed. “Okay, fine. Adie?”
“Yes?”
“After the wedding, do you get to be my mama right away?”
Sadie smiled to herself. After Emily had given up her parental rights, Chris and Sadie talked at length about what to do about Layla. Sadie was going to be the mother-figure in her life, of course, so they decided there was no reason not to make the whole thing official. Once Chris and Sadie were married, the legal proceedings of the adoption would move forward.
“The judge has to make it all one-hundred-percent,” Sadie answered, using a term that she and Chris had agreed would make the most sense to the young girl, “but you can think of me as your mama whenever you’re ready, sunshine. There’s no rush.”
Layla blushed. “You’ve always been my mama, Adie.”
Sadie smiled as she finished with Layla’s hair. She didn’t know it at the time, but that would be the last time Layla called her ‘Adie’, choosing instead to call her ‘Mama’ from that moment forward.
Tumblr media
When three sleek, black SUVs pulled up to the rented farmhouse, Sadie rushed out to the front. Surely there were even more Secret Service agents at the Pratt farm, but she didn’t care – her maid of honor had finally arrived.
“You’re here!” Sadie squealed, bursting through the front door and making a mad rush for Caroline.
“I’m here!” Caroline exclaimed, hugging Sadie tightly. “Sorry about all of this, by the way. Chris tried to get them to stay in D.C,. but apparently that’s not an option.”
Sadie waved her off. “I don’t care, as long as you’re here. I’m starting to get nervous. Like, good nervous, but still nervous. Also, is this a horrible idea? I mean, I’ve known him for like five months. And now we’re getting married. This is a horrible idea. Oh gosh, what am I doing?”
Caroline couldn’t help but chuckle. She put her hands on Sadies shoulders and smiled. “Take a deep breath. This is far from a horrible idea. The two of you – you’re madly in love. If that’s not a reason to get married, I don’t know what is. So what if it’s only been five months. It could have been five years and the outcome would still be the same. You belong together, Sade, don’t let anything change your mind about that.”
“You’re right,” Sadie said, letting out a deep breath. “Okay, I think that’s my panic for the day. Thanks for handling it. C’mon, you’ve got to meet Layla!”
The two women dashed inside; Sadie wasn’t sure who was more excited to meet the other, Caroline or Layla. She was ecstatic that everything was working out so well, and could only hope that Caroline would get along with Chris just as well when she met him later.
Tumblr media
“Sadie,” Chris started, “I promise to give you the best of me. To be your best friend, and to support you in everything that you do. I promise to lead our family with both strength and gentleness, and to always be the thing that you need to get through the day. I promise to laugh with you, to cry with you, and to never, ever make you feel like you are anything less than the most important thing in my life. I love you.”
Choking back tears, Sadie replied with her vows. “Chris, I promise to give you the best of me. I promise to do all that I can to take care of you and Layla at all times, and to be a good role model for her. I promise to be your best friend, to listen when you need to talk, and to never walk away when things get hard. I promise to always fight for you. I love you.”
There was a reading and another short bit from the preacher, and then the older man was announcing them husband and wife. Chris cradled Sadie’s face in his hands and kissed her sweetly.
The guests clapped and cheered as the newlyweds made their way back down the aisle. After the ceremony, while a few tables were moved around, the wedding party and family took the time for more pictures. Sadie had been adamant that Chris not see her in her lacy white dress before the ceremony, so there were still some shots to take – which meant that it was time for Caroline to officially meet Chris.
“Chris, this is my best friend Caroline. Caroline, this is Chris. My new husband,” Sadie beamed.
“It’s nice to finally meet you, Chris,” Caroline smiled, hugging him tightly. “I know you’re already married but what I’m about to say still stands: you hurt my best friend, you have to answer to me and just know that I do not mess around.”
Chris chuckled, then dropped the smile when he saw how serious Caroline was. “Uh, you got it. You do have some pretty insane resources, I suppose. CIA and all that.”
Sadie couldn’t help her laughter. She squeezed Chris’s hand and winked at Caroline; her best friend and her husband were getting on exactly how she had hoped they would.
The reception was buzzing when the couple walked in amidst cheers and smiles from their family and friends. Caroline announced that the new couple would have their first dance to a song of the groom’s choice; a few moments later, the favorite song of Sadie’s that she was always humming began to play.
Sadie looked to Chris with surprise as they began to move across the open area of the barn floor. “It’s my song!”
Chris nodded. “I remembered that I owed you a dance to this one. Figured our wedding is as good a time as any.”
Sadie paused the dance long enough to kiss him, then waved her bridesmaids and the groomsmen onto the dance floor with them to finish out the song.
Once the first dance was done, supper was set out, and more dancing ensued. After a couple of hours, the guests began to clear out; Sadie and Chris prepared to take their leave as well, and head to a hotel in town. Kathleen and Daniel would stay on the farm with Layla.
“I don’t know that we’ll get right to, um, celebrating,” Sadie blushed after pulling Caroline aside. “I think you guys are in the same hotel. Can you meet us for drinks in the hotel bar? Or maybe in one of the rooms? Whatever the guys in the black suits will allow.”
Caroline looked over at Chris who nodded. “I don’t see why a few drinks at the bar would be a problem. And if it is a problem, well they can deal with me – which means it won’t be a problem.”
Sadie shook her head. “I never worry about things getting done when you’re around, that’s for sure. Okay, we’ll head that way now and get settled in the room, and you just let us know when you’re ready.” Feeling emotional again, she leaned over and hugged Caroline. “I’m really glad you got to be here today. I don’t think I would have survived my panic – and there’s no way I can even imagine my wedding day without you in it.”
Caroline hugged her back, and the couples parted ways. An hour later they were enjoying drinks together, getting to know each other’s significant others, and winding down from a busy day.
“Well, guys, it’s been really great, but I think I’m ready to take my bride upstairs,” Chris said, winking at Sadie. “We’ll see you at least once more before you head back to D.C.”
There was a brief argument over who was picking up the check, which was settled by Evans just handing over his debit card. They finished off their drinks, then forced themselves out of the booth.
Caroline pulled a small card from her clutch and handed over to Sadie. “I didn’t want to leave this in the pile of gifts at the reception and risk it getting lost. Read it whenever you get a minute.”
Sadie nodded. “I will. Thank you again, for everything.”
“Of course,” Caroline smiled, fighting back tears as she hugged her friend tightly. “I’m so happy for you, Sadie.”
All Sadie could do to stop herself from crying was to hug Caroline again then take Chris’s hand and follow him up to their room.
Before finagling out of her dress and pulling out the millions of pins it seemed were securing her half-up hairstyle in place, Sadie took out the card Caroline had given her, reading it in the privacy of the bathroom before changing into her wedding night attire.
November 19
Sadie,
Today is your wedding day, and I couldn’t be happier for you. I’m writing this as I’m seated on a plane next to Chris, who is snoring ridiculously loud by the way, and surrounded by Secret Service. It’s surreal.
I know you won’t be reading this until long after you’ve said your vows and have officially become Mrs. Pratt, but I just want you to know that this was something I always wished for you. I always knew you would find your Prince Charming, your knight in shining armor. Did I think he would come in the form of a sunflower farmer? No, but that’s neither here nor there. All that matters is that you’re happy, Sade. That’s all I’ve ever really wanted for you.
You deserve a lifetime of love and happiness, and I know for a fact that Chris will be the one that will give that to you. I know it was a bit of a rough road, but I’m glad you never gave up on love, especially not the great love of your life.
I know today is going to be absolutely wonderful and it’s going to be everything you’ve ever dreamed of. I’m so glad I get to share it with you. But I want you to promise me one thing. Take a second to slow down. Capture every moment. Remember every little detail. Live in the moment, this is a day you’ll never want to forget.
I love you, Mrs. Pratt. You’re the best friend I’ve ever had and don’t you forget it! I hope you have the most amazing day.
Yours Truly,
Caroline
There was no stopping the tears she had been fighting all day. Tucking the note safely away, Sadie changed her clothes, then went back out to the main room. Chris was waiting there to take her into his arms. Sadie was going to do exactly as Caroline had told her: embrace the great love of her life and not let a second of her life with Chris go forgotten.
Epilogue: Caroline

Sunflower
Pairing: SF9′s Taeyang x OC [Haneul] Genre: college!au, friendstolovers!au, slice of life, slight fluff Word Count: 3,847 Summary: Haneul has been receiving sunflowers from Taeyang since they were childhood friends. Although they’re not your typical best of friends, the two have stayed in contact with one another. It’s not until recently when they’re both in their final year of college that Haneul actually learns the meaning of what the sunflower represents. She also comes to realize that Taeyang may be something more than a friend.
Warning: partially proofread. my bad. one or two swear words. it’s not your typical childhood friends to lovers plot. so, read at your own discretion. lol
anyways, this was requested by a lovely anon and it’s my first SF9 fic ever and i’m quite happy i actually wrote it out. even better when it wasn’t that long ago it was requested. lol so good for me and to the requester that wanted this! anyways, i hope it’s okay. i tried. i like it though hahaha, but yeah, if y’all don’t know this Taeyang means Sun and Haneul means Sky, so it plays well into the whole Sunflower thing. if you don’t get it, then you’ll just have to read. alright, happy reading and kthxbai, Admin Lia~
Haneul was casually sitting and talking at a table on campus grounds with her three friends, Haeyoon, Yuju, and Mirae. The quartet were hanging out once their classes were done for the day. Haneul suddenly heard her name being called from behind her by a male school mate. She's seen him before, but she couldn't recall ever having a class with him.
"Yong Haneul, correct?" The younger male asked while holding a sunflower in his right hand.
"Yes." Haneul confirmed with a curious gaze. "And you are?"
"Kang Chani and I'm here to deliver this to you."
Chani smiled at her while extending his arm forward to present the sunflower.
"Um, thank you."
Haneul took the flower although she was wondering why this random person was handing her the plant. Before she could ask what she was thinking, the male scurry away to his group of friends. Haneul's eyes trail after the male and realized that in Chani's group of friends was a familiar face. Her childhood friend, Yoo Taeyang. Once their eyes connected did Taeyang smiled warmly at her while lifting an arm to wave at her. Out of habit, Haneul did the same with a small smile before turning her attention back onto her friends. She caught their teasing gazes.
"What?" She asked like nothing just happened.
"What do you mean what?" Haeyoon asked with a pointed look. "Who was that and why did he give you that?"
"Please tell me it's an admirer. That would be so cute." Yuju cooed playfully while leaning closer to Haneul. "Do you think he's cute?"
"Girls," Mirae interjected, "She doesn't know him since she asked for his name."
Haneul shot her friend a relieved look.
"Thank you, Mirae."
"You're welcome, but who's the guy that you waved at and smiled at you? He looked familiar, but I couldn't really see him since one of his friend blocked my view."
Haneul scrunched up her face in hopes that she wouldn't have to answer that.
"Do you have a boyfriend and never told us about him?!" Yuju exclaimed before making a pouty face. "Haneul, you're so cruel."
"I don't have a boyfriend, Yuju. He's just a friend."
"Define 'friend', Haneul." Haeyoon clarified. "I would like for you to elaborate since it's Yellow and Rose Day and only couples do such a thing and you just claimed that you don't have a boyfriend. Hmm?"
"Yeah. Explain that." The other two chimed.
Haneul rolled her eyes while tucking the sunflower gently into her book-bag.
"There's nothing really to explain. Also, I forgot today was Yellow Day and or Rose Day since he also gives me sunflowers when it's my birthday. Anyways, he's just a childhood friend and has always given me a sunflower on the fourteenth of May and the first of March."
Yuju let out a loud gasped causing the other three to look at her questioningly.
"He's the one that's been giving you sunflowers since high school!"
"No. He's been giving me them since primary school. It's just he attended a different high school than I did."
"But I first met you in high school, Haneul, so it's been high school since for me. I couldn't figure out which guy it was that was giving you the flowers and now it's because he didn't even go to high school with us." Yuju explained.
Mirae interjected with her own curiosity. "Why aren't you guys dating since he likes you a lot and are now in your final year of university?"
"Um, well there's a few reasons for that."
Mirae interrupted her before Haneul could actually explain those reasons.
"Which are?"
"Well, I was gonna tell you, but since you interrupted me, I don't feel like saying anything now."
"Oh, c'mon, Haneul. Don't be mean. I'm sorry." Mirae apologized with a big pout. "Please continue speaking."
Haneul cast each of them a look before sighing in defeat.
"Fine."
"Yay!" The trio cheered happily as Haneul rolled her eyes, but continued with her reasoning.
"Well, first of all, it's because he already has a girlfriend."
The girls let out a loud gasp, but didn't interrupt their friend. Haneul continued giving them an amused look.
"Anyways, second of all, we're not as close as we used to be since we don't hang out as often as we used to like we did in middle school. And I don't really see him like that so I never thought about dating him."
"But have you dated anyone though?" Haeyoon questioned nonchalantly.
"She has." Yuju answered for Haneul.
"Okay, but how about an actual boyfriend then?" Haeyoon prodded.
"Oh yeah. Her first and last boyfriend was in our second year of high school." Yuju confirmed. "But they broke up some time in our first year of university."
"Oh why?!" Mirae exclaimed with widened eyes. "How come I didn't know?"
"Because we weren't openly affectionate about our relationship and also the fact that he cheated on me while we attended different colleges." Haneul explained with a shrug. "It's nothing now since I don't have to bother with him ever again and there was no need to bring up my past relationship."
"Alright then. Let's talk about your current relationship status." Mirae grinned.
"Single as fuck." Haeyoon inputted with a laugh before side-eyeing her mischievously. "Or so she tells us."
"I am single, Haeyoon." Haneul stated firmly. "I'm not hiding anything."
"Yeah you are." Yuju disagreed with a shake of her head while indiscreetly pointing in the direction of where Taeyang and his group of friends were some distance away. "That guy who's been giving you sunflowers since y'all were kids."
"Don't point. It's not nice."
Haneul swatted at her friend's hand.
"Ugh. Fine."
Yuju crossed her arms over her chest in a sulking manner.
"You're such a child." Mirae commented, but Yuju stuck her tongue out at her in a playful manner.
"Then can you at least give us a name?"
Yuju then turned to shoot Haneul her puppy eyes.
"Eww. Stop doing that."
"If I stop, then will you give us a name?"
"No."
Haneul shot them an amused look.
"Why are y'all so curious about my love life and even about who I was childhood friends with?"
"Because the meaning of a sunflower is quite deep, Haneul." Haeyoon reasoned while reading something off of her phone. "Do you even know what the sunflower symbolizes and mean?"
"Not really. I never thought about looking it up."
"Okay, well then let me informed you about them."
Haeyoon grinned at her before casting her eyes back onto her mobile device.
"Sunflowers symbolizes adoration, loyalty, and longevity."
Haeyoon began with a giddy smile as the other two girls let out contented sighs with a dreamy expression upon hearing the meaning. Haneul rolled her eyes at their behavior, but let Haeyoon continued.
"They are also known for being 'happy' flowers. They're the perfect gift to bring joy to someone's or your day."
Haeyoon finished with an even giddier smile as she directed it at Haneul.
"Are you sure you still think of him as a friend, Haneul? Because I think he thinks of you as more than that."
Haneul scoffed. "Please. No one's like that nowadays. Hardly anyone makes romantic or sweet subtle hints like those."
Haneul then stood up while gathering up her things. Her friends noticed how delicate she was when she put her things into her bag as to not crush the sunflower and when she settled the bag onto her shoulder in a gentle manner.
"Anyways, ladies, I have other things to do so I'll see you three tomorrow."
"Fine. If you won't tell us, then we'll just ask him when he gets here." Yuju remarked with a smug look.
Haneul's eyes furrowed in confusion.
"What do you mean when he ge-"
"Neul."
Haneul quickly turned around upon hearing the familiar nickname she hasn't heard since childhood from her childhood friend while her facial expression turned to one of puzzlement.
"Taeyang?"
"THE Yoo Taeyang?!" The trio chorused at once upon recognizing the male.
"Haneul. You know The Yoo Taeyang of Sigma Phi Nu?" Mirae questioned with an awe tone followed by Haeyoon who was also in awe.
"And the main dancer of the school's dance team, Knights of the Sun."
"He's also like the Fashionista King of Neoz University." Yuju exclaimed excitedly. "Omo, Yoo Taeyang, I'm such a huge fan of yours!"
Taeyang smiled at Haneul's friends in a calm manner while nodding his head at them.
"Thank you." He thanked them before gesturing towards Haneul. "Would you mind if I borrowed Haneul from you for the rest of the day?"
Just as Haneul was about to declined his offer, her friends accepted his words and Haeyoon who was the closes to Haneul pushed her towards Taeyang causing her to stumbled into him. Taeyang caught a hold of Haneul and helped her to steady herself. Haneul was a flustered mess, but she calmly held her own and would throttle her friends when he or anyone else was around.
"Are you okay?" Taeyang asked with a worried tone while trying to catch her eyes.
Haneul avoided his gaze while answering him with a forced smile.
"Peachy."
She cast a dark look towards her friends who abruptly stated that they had somewhere else to be while avoiding eye-contact with Haneul. The trio bid the pair a goodbye soon afterwards. A laugh sounded from beside her and her dark gaze softened when she turned her her eyes towards Taeyang questioningly.
"What's so funny?"
Taeyang's laughter died down, but the amused smile was still on his face.
"I see that you're dark gaze still holds up to this day."
"You remember that?"
"How could I not? You would give them to me whenever I shoved a bug into your face before chasing me after doing so."
"You were such a jerk. You even put a frog in my bag in the fifth grade and now I can't stand them or insects to this day."
Taeyang let out another heartily laugh upon the memory.
"Ahh, those were the days. I missed them. I missed you, too."
He casually admitted while giving Haneul a thoughtful look.
"How's your day been?"
Haneul was caught off guard by his admission of missing her and then the sudden question like they were casually catching up with one another. Haneul recalled that the both of them haven't really had a serious face to face conversation after middle school ended. Then again, Haneul recalled all the small conversations they quickly had in-between classes these past four years and the text messages when they went to separate high schools. Could she really say that they were catching up when they never really lost contact with one another in the first place.
"I, well, it's going well. I just need to run some errands before heading home. Other than that, nothing really new. Um, how about you? How's your day going" She asked the same question back automatically before remembering something. "I see that you're well known around campus, Mr. Popular. I wasn't aware of that."
"Ah, yeah."
Taeyang rubbed his neck in bashful manner.
"Something like that."
His eyes then caught sight of the sunflower tucked away into her book-bag. He smiled upon seeing it.
"How do you like the sunflowers? Sorry about having Chani give them to you earlier. He was just curious to see the person I got it for and wouldn't stop bugging me about it."
"They're pretty as ever, Yang." Haneul said with a smile while also using the nickname she referred to him by when they were younger. "Thanks and it's okay about your friends. I should mainly apologize for my friends who were gushing over you not that long ago."
"It's fine. I'm kinda used to it."
"Well, not really. You shouldn't be used to something."
"I know, but it's also something I'm familiar with since you haven't noticed anything to this day either."
"What do you mean?"
Haneul wondered what Taeyang was talking about until Haeyoon's voiced popped into her head a second later about the meaning of the sunflower. Haneul then caught the movement of Taeyang's left arm reaching out and slowly plucking the sunflower from out of her bag. He calmly twirled the bright flower within his hand while staring at it thoughtfully. His eyes soon flickered onto her and Haneul suddenly felt a jolt within her body upon catching his gaze. Her thoughts immediately ran while with all the questions her friends kept asking her earlier and she was weirdly questioning if he was more than a friend all of a sudden. Haneul let out a loud gasped before clamping a hand over her mouth to restrained any further sounds to come out of it.
"Are you alright?" Taeyang asked with a raised brow.
Haneul didn't trust her voice and nodded instead while removing her hand from her mouth and back to her side.
"Are you sure?" He inquired further not believing her.
Haneul nodded again still not trusting herself to speak. Taeyang slowly cast her a charming smile that reached his eyes and Haneul inwardly asked herself when did his smile become so charismatic. She closed her eyes upon realizing what was happening to her and she now wondered if it was her friends doing by constantly asking so much questions or just something that was fated to happen some day. Like today. Or maybe both. Haneul opened her eyes slowly one at a time in hopes that maybe Taeyang wasn't standing before her and it was just her mind messing with her.
"Yong Haneul, are you sure you're okay?" Taeyang firmly asked although his twinkling eyes stated otherwise.
She frowned knowing that he was enjoying her quiet demeanor. He only ever used her full name when he wanted to tease her. Taeyang always found it amusing whenever Haneul got tongue tied or stayed silent when they were children. It was because she would finally realized something and didn't want to admit it at first.
"Yes, I'm fine, Yoo Taeyang." Haneul replied with a forced smile.
Taeyang's smiled wider upon knowing that she only used his full name when she wasn't fine or to get him to back off. Seeing his smile, Haneul knew that he knew and decided to escape the situation and brush it off like nothing had happened.
"Um, I gotta go. Bye." Haneul hastily bid him a goodbye while turning away.
Before she could dash off, Taeyang's right arm quickly reached out and caught a hold of her left arm, and brought her around to face him.
"I know it's been like several years since we actually had a personal conversation and for this long, but I think it's time."
"Time for what exactly?"
Haneul cautious looked at him as Taeyang cast her a reassuring smile while moving his right hand to grasp her left hand instead. She glanced at their held hands as her eyes also noticed the sunflower still within his left grasp before shooting him an anxious look. Haneul wasn't sure what to exactly feel as she was still trying to figure out her sudden feelings towards her former childhood friend who may now be more than what she had original thought of him to be. To which she now knew that Taeyang had always known his feelings for her despite never actually saying it.
"Well, Neul, if it wasn't obvious for the past fifteen years, but I like you. I still do." Taeyang confessed.
"But you have a girlfriend already." Haneul reminded him as she tried to rationalized her thoughts and feelings as quickly as possible. "You can like me all you want, Yang, but that won't change the fact that you're still in a committed relationship with  someone else right now."
"I'm not."
"Yeah you were since I last checked like a week ago."
"Oh? So you've been keeping tabs on me?"
"Tch. It's not even like that. Your mom showed me a picture of you and your girlfriend at some party."
"That's not my girlfriend."
"Oh, yeah, sure it isn't. Likely story."
Taeyang laughed at Haneul's misunderstanding. Haneul slightly shoved him with her free hand at his reaction towards her.
"This isn't a laughing matter, Taeyang. This is quite serious."
"I know and that's why it's funny. That's my mother's god-niece. So technically, my cousin."
"Oh, well, if that's the case then I didn't want to be mean and say she got plastic surgery or something." Haneul said in a flustered tone while avoiding eye-contact with Taeyang while still speaking. "Since she didn't look like the girl in your last photo update where the two of you went to New York City last summer."
"Ah, her. Yeah, well, she was, but we broke up that same summer due to a falling out and differences within our relationship." Taeyang clarified.
"Oh, I'm sorry." She lamely apologized although she didn't know why she needed to say that.
"It's okay. It's not your fault. I'm sorry about you and your ex, too."
"Wait. How do you even know about that?"
"Let's just say that the girl he cheated on you with was also at the time the girlfriend of one of my friends."
"Soccer Star Kim Rowoon is your friend?"
"Yes." Taeyang proudly confirmed.
"Tell him thank you for me." Haneul smiled at him upon learning of that fact. "A big thank you for kicking the soccer balls at my ex when he constantly denied cheating on me despite the physical evidence on him that wasn't my doing and was also about to get dangerously physical with me that day."
"Well, then it should be me that you should thanking."
"Why?"
"I was the one that told Rowoon to do that."
"But why? I mean I can understand since you and I were friends, but you weren't really involved in that affair."
"Not directly, but he indirectly hurt you and that hurt me seeing you hurt."
Haneul was going to reply, but nothing came out. She closed her mouth and remind silent.
"I know you feel that small spark between us, but I won't pressure you into anything. If you don't want to, then that's your choice. I just wanted to let you know my feelings before I never get another chance to let you know about them."
"But why? Why now? Why not before? Why?" Haneul suddenly questioned since she just couldn't understand why it was suddenly happening now.
"To be completely honest, I was going to confess to you back in high school during our second year when I mustered the courage to do so." Taeyang admitted. "Then you told me you had a boyfriend and I backed off, but still gave you sunflowers diligently."
The former childhood friends just stared at one another as the words spoken between them mingled in the air. Their hands were still within the other's grasp with no thoughts of letting go. Taeyang watched Haneul calmly as Haneul contemplated what to actually do our their current state. It wasn't like they could just go back to being friends when Taeyang basically confessed. Also, Haneul now knew that she couldn't view Taeyang as simply as just a friend like she declared earlier to her friends. She then recalled reading something about friends turning into lovers and that it was worth the risk if there was a little spark between the two. For her, it just took a little longer to realized that.
"Alright. I lied about running errands. I really didn't have anything to do today and just wanted to ditch my friends from questioning about my love life and about you, too." Haneul admitted to Taeyang with a soft sigh. "So what did you want to borrow me for?"
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Taeyang asked with a concern look. "I mean, it would be great, but I want to make sure that it's something that you wanna move forward with, Haneul. There's no turning back."
"I know, Taeyang, and I really do. Honestly. " Haneul assured him with a shy smile. "I mean, after all of these years of receiving sunflowers from you, I didn't think it was your way of cheering me up all of this time."
Now it was Taeyang's turn to cast her a shy smile.
"I did tell you when I was seven that I wanted to be a florist."
"I'm pretty sure you used the term 'plant grower' back then."
"Whatever, but the real truth of why I chose the sunflower after learning it's meaning was because of you."
"Me? Why?"
"Well, because your name means 'sky' and my name means 'sun'. The sunflower can't grow without the sun and the sun can't exist without the sky. We were fated for one another since we met the first time at the nursery."
Haneul restrained herself from cringing at Taeyang's words. He laughed knowing that it was cringe-worthy, but he had no regrets in saying them to her.
"If I recall or my mom telling me about my first day at the nursery, you kicked me during nap time because you thought it was my fault we had to take naps."
"In my defense, I was only like three years old. The staff at the time said it was the sky causing the sun to be swallowed up so that we had to take naps. I feared for my life believing you were going to eat me if I fell asleep. It took my mom about a few months to convince me otherwise."
Upon hearing his side of the story for that, Haneul couldn't help but let out a loud laugh.
"That's cute." She commented after her laughing ceased.
"Anyways," Taeyang interjected while bringing up the reason he wanted to borrow her earlier from her friends, "I wanted to take you to this cafe called Fantasy 9. They just released a new flavor containing sunflower petals today and I know how much studying lately has been stressing this past week. Also can't forget that we'll be graduating in less than a month from now, too."
"Oh, so you wanted to go on an unofficial date after who knows how long since we actually hung out physically. Then during our chit-chat you would probably confessed to me and all that other stuff that happens like in the movies and books."
"Um, something along those lines, yes."
"Well, then let's just call it an official date and see where we go from there." Haneul suggested with a bright smile.
"Alright, then, let's go." Taeyang agreed as he mirrored her smile while handing her back the sunflower. "For you."
"Thank you."
Haneul beamed at him as she happily took the flower back with her free hand. Taeyang readjusted their other hands to comfortably fit with one another while leading her in the direction of Fantasy 9. On the way there the pair converse freely like that of friends, but the connection with one another was more than that.

I keep trying to think of what kinds of gifts and things Astarion would try to give/do to court Tav, because technically, yes, this is an entirely different "time era"... and he is a daywalker vampire. I just don't see him as someone presenting a gift "softly". I feel like it would be attached to some quip
Okay, so I got around to trying for an actual gift giving scene. I imagine all of Tavarti's gifts are simple little trinkets you'd have to convince her to take or pretend to simply lend to her.
-----------
Tavarti kneeled on the cool morning grass as she listened to the sounds of nature greeting the new day. Her hands clasped together in quiet contemplation. The morning prayers were always the paladin's favorite part of the day. Traditionally, Ilmatari pray ten times a day. What with their current situation, Tavarti rarely takes the time to keep up with such a regimen but she hasn't yet given up on her morning prayers. Watching the sunrise as she meditates, reflects, and sometimes even speaks with Him.
"So, what exactly is it about wearing rags you like so much? The not-so gentle caress of burlap? Or is it just the unflattering cut?"
Not him.
"I'm sorry?"
"Oh, don't be, darling. You can't help not knowing any better. "
She had not opened her eyes upon first hearing him, and she hadn't still when he sat down in the grass next to her. A week or so ago she'd be on guard the moment she felt his presence. Now? She hardly felt the need to keep her eye on him.  At least not here.  Strange considering a week or so ago she still thought he was a living person.
"Pardon me for being unclear. What are we talking about?"
"The reason you dress like a pauper."
"It's called a vow of poverty, Astarion. We've been over this."
"Yes, yes, you Ilmatari love to be poor. I know."
Tavarti smirked at him.  He sounded like he was describing something unfashionable or unseemly. As obnoxious as he liked to be, his fancy way of speaking did amuse the paladin.
"You know one of those little tiefling urchins tried to swindle me with some cheap bauble? Said it was magic or some nonsense. "
"Oh? Did Gale tell you otherwise? "
He scoffed at her. She smirked at him again. She was getting good at poking back.
"I didn't need a wizard to see the ring was junk!"
"Ah. Good for you. Not being outwitted by literal children."
"Oh, yes.  I got the ugly thing for an absolute steal. "
That particular poke got the paladin to actually look at him. Finally rewarding the rogue with a look of stern disapproval. A reward that was happily accepted with a very toothy grin.
"Astarion."
"Oh hush, I taught them a few tricks. It was a fair trade. I even let them in on it. "
The elf chuckles at how clever he finds himself. Running his fingers through his hair, Tavarti almost swears he's posing now that she's looking. She honestly would not put it past him.
Feeling properly admired, Astarion tossed the ring at the paladin who caught it without a word. Turning it over in her hand, she inspects the piece of jewelry carefully.
It was a simple gold ring with crudely etched designs of flowers leading up to what appeared to be the sun. Inside were words in a language the paladin did not recognize. The ring wasn't particularly hideous; though the lack of any  gemstones might qualify as ugly by Astarion's standards. There existed no smell of magic or malign intent. Satisfied with her appraisal she hands the ring back to the spawn.
"It isn't magic."
"I already knew that!" Astarion scowled at her and made no move to take the ring back.
"Then why would you give it to me?"
"To see how hideous it is! "
"It's not that ugly."
"Then keep it!"
Tavarti frowned. "We just spoke of this. Here, take it."
"No!"
"Well, why not?"
It wasn't necessarily abnormal to struggle making sense of the spawn; he was a complicated fellow at his best. The paladin usually did an adequate job reading him, yet suddenly she feels an unusual tension from him and cannot say why. He actually seemed rather huffy about all this.
"I believe you people refer to it as an "act of charity?"
"I believe we people refer to it as a "vow of poverty"."
"Trust me, darling. Nothing about that ring says 'excess material wealth'. Just take it. "
"I do not own material things, Astarion."
"Oh, it hardly counts! Look how ugly-"
"Ugly possessions are still material possessions."
That only seemed to irritate him further. Was he insulted? Or simply aggravated by her insistence on what he'd consider an alternative lifestyle?
"What about your sword? Your journal?"
Tavarti raised an eyebrow.  This was turning into more of an argument than she originally anticipated, and the paladin doesn't exactly have high expectations for any of their interactions.
"My sword, armor, journal all belong to the church. I am simply borrowing them. They'll have them back when I die,  I assure you."
If she didn't know any better she'd have sworn she saw him flinch at her answer. Was it such an incongruent way of life? Surely, the spawn had more interesting things to ponder with his new found freedom than her vows.
They sat in a tense silence afterwards. Tavarti was unable to bring herself back to her reflection as she felt the pot next to her start to boil over. All she could do was sit and wait in anticipation of whatever demeaning retort eventually came to him.
"...Then why don't you just borrow it?"
That wasn't exactly the retort she was expecting.
"I'm sorry?"
"No need to be, darling. It's really a point of pride, you see. I won it fair and square, so I don't feel so inclined to throw it down a well just yet, but it's far too ugly for me to wear. You can hold onto it for me. "
The paladin regarded the spawn as if he were,  well, a monster. He could see her mind hard at work trying to decipher the trickery at play. Her divine sense passed over him like some sort of celestial bloodhound looking for just a hint of malign intent. She said nothing for what felt like an impossibly long time. It was beginning to irritate him.
"Besides, such a dull thing won't look so out of place on you."
That seemed a bit more like reality and less like an illthid hallucination. He was being a bit caustic for him to be trying for a favor. He knew her Oath all but guaranteed him off her protection provided he remained relatively well-behaved. She knew the ring was not cursed. Then…
"Why?"
He huffed at her wariness. Its not like he was asking for a vein.
"It might make you a bit less depressing to look at.  Now will you just hold it for me?"
He was pushing it. Her first instinct was to scold him for once again trying to undermine her vows. Respect these boundaries. Yet, she couldn't help but want to give him the benefit of the doubt.  Encourage this somewhat charitable behavior. Ignoring the obvious barbs, this was actually quite touching coming from him. Especially so considering how much of Astarion's worldview was take before you're taken from.
Honestly,  if he wanted to talk about depressing he really ought to look in a-
Well, anyway.
She finally withdraws her hand; still holding the ring so delicately between her fingers. Perhaps she could make an exception. Treat this as something more…immaterial. A symbol, of sorts.  No different from her red cords or her cloak.
She slides the ring onto a few of her fingers before settling on one; quietly pleased it fits. She holds the hand up to better catch the morning light and looks over at Astarion for his reaction.  He smirks and rolls his eyes before turning back to enjoy the sunrise before them.
"Tsk. Just don't forget to return it, darling. "
Afterwards, the two sit in silence. Enjoying the serene morning air alone, together. The paladin continued her prayers in silence; eyes closed, offering Astarion some small privacy as he enjoyed yet another dawn.

I'll encourage you being on a roll for these oc asks. Is it annoying or evil? Maybe. 😉
Tavarti/Astarion- 19, 22, 26.
Tavarti/Gale- 49.
Never annoying. Evil? Well, who doesn't like a good villain? Not evil im joking thank you so much
19. Tavarti brings the umbrella (I imagine her as team mom. The one who always has bandages, snacks, etc. ) She would offer it freely. Astarion would demand she share before she gets the chance though and she'll make him say 'please' before she'll let him under.
22. Tavarti isn't interested in his frilly nobleman shirts and such. Astarion is almost certain she makes hers from old potato sacks and repurposed hospital sheets.
He does however like to take her red cords and use them inappropriately from time to time.
26. Not really a bad habit, but he can't stand that Tavarti can't lie. He later learns to accept (and exploit) it.
Aside from that nasty habit of needing to stick blood, Tavarti mostly dislikes how often things disappear in the spawn's presence. If she asks, he plays dumb (as if she can't tell).
They eventually landed on the "I better not see it or hear about it".
49. Do Gale and Tavarti tease each other?
Lol a little. They start out very polite and cordial with each other (the opposite of her and Astarion almost). As they get more comfortable with each other, Tavarti starts to call Gale out a little when he's being insufferable or cocky. Gale takes it as a challenge to be even more insufferable and cocky.
She also thinks he's a bit...soft. Not a judgement! Just an observation. She's lived in sparse temples or on the road with the order most of her life, he seems more the type used to soft beds, hot baths and warm meals. Gale doesn't try to act 'tougher' to impress her either; he just laughs, says he's a man of fine tastes, and winks at her.
Yes, she'll blush. Insufferable man.

I notice you tag a few things with your oc and anothers. are they sisters or something? Do you two play the game together? which of you two is good cop bad cop?
Not sisters! Just both OCs with similar tastes in men and authors.
We haven't played together but I definitely want to run a campaign of the two of them together at least once! (What is this a crossover episode?)
I'd like to believe Tavarti is the good cop but honestly, I could see Maptiva playing the "I won't let the scary knight hurt you if you be good for me♥" I could see them taking turns playing good cop/bad cop. Correct me if I'm horribly wrong @shadowsevilfish

I gotchu fam.
The modern AU with Tavarti. Feel like going in depth with that?
You spoil me
Tavarti is an investigative journalist/activist/ general pain-in-the-ass. She drives a barely functional motorcycle (paladin mount lol), lives in a shitty studio apartment, and meets with her DnD group on Fridays. She wears a ratty old bomber jacket with sunflower patches, jeans, t-shirts, and a pair of old biker boots. Has been arrested multiple times. Will argue with the entire group over rp choices because she's a paladin guys come on. She joined the group as a favor to an old friend (The Narrator) who wanted to DM a special campaign she's been working on.
She shows up at DMs place for the first night where she introduces her to the rest of the group:
Gale, a local professor at a research university who recently went on sabbatical after a relationship with his department got messy. Totally has leather patches on his blazer sleeves . Lives alone with his cat in a nice apartment filled with books. Met the DM at a coffee house poetry night and is joining the DnD group because he's going through a lot rn and needs the distraction. A total rules lawyer and argues with the DM.
Lae'zel, who recently graduated from the police academy. Comes from a family of cops, her mom is the chief. Wears leather jackets with lots of spikes and scary af rings. Wants a red motorcycle. Is mean to people on the internet. Loves combat and hates the RPing. Joined the group as a personal favor to the DM who she met at a court ordered anger management seminar.
Wyll, a cut-off rich kid who is struggling to turn his life around and get away from his toxic ex. Works with kids at the community center and volunteers a lot. Likes Marvel movies. Met the DM at the community center and hit them up after they posted something about starting a new campaign on social media. He thought it'd be fun and he really needed a new social circle. Lives to RP, terrible at combat. Rolls either 1s or 20s.
Astarion got into an abusive relationship with a powerful partner at the law firm he worked at. He's finally gotten out of the situation and has been couch surfing while he looks for a new place/job. Has an OnlyFans (which he uses to pay the bills atm). Ends up crashing at Tavarti's place a lot because she has a hard time saying no (and has the easiest to break into apartment). Met the DM through "work" (onlyfans or court? Who knows) and ended up joining the DnD group because he was already sleeping on her couch at the time so why not. Plays a pain-in-the-ass, "it's what my character would do" rogue. Steals everything. Constantly handing notes to the DM.
Shadowheart does... something. No one is sure what exactly it is but they all assume it's illegal. Cute goth gf. Doesn't use social media where you can't be anonymous or self destructing like snapchat. Deletes her reddit account every few months. Uses burner phones and no one has her number. Cyberstalks the entire group. Met DM at some underground concert thing. Will heal you for +1 because that's all you deserve and then solos the rest of combat after you all wipe. She plays all the time and wanted to find a new group.

*Tosses more like confetti*
Tavarti/Astarion 7, 8, 14, and 16.
7. What do they argue about?
Astarion:"Why in the world would you admit to that?!"
Tavarti: "Why in the world would you take that?!"
Both: "FOOL, YOU ALMOST DIED."
8. Who does what chores? Why?
Tavarti is constantly working. If she's idle, she's thinking, and she will not abide by that. As much as Astarion likes to lounge around while she does all the work, he does actuslly know how to do housework from years of servitude. Sometimes, while Tavarti is asleep and he's forced to be alone, he'll sneak around and do a few things to free up some of her time. More for him.
14.
"Oh~ Pretty, fiery thing, isn't she? Not much in the common sense department, but she's useful enough to have around. "
"Ah. The elf? Don't mind him. He can seem a bit...bloodthirsty at times, but a pleasant enough fellow once you get to know him. "
(Also, if you ask about his appearance she'll explain he has a condition he's sensitive about and don't worry she's Ilmatari she's helping him. 👍 )
16. What do they consider quality time?
The two like to watch the sunrise together. She's meditating and praying. He's simply bored after having to stay up all night alone, that's all.
Though, he prefers the nights the two of them prowl the streets together looking to do some vigilante justice/feeding him when animals aren't available. Don't worry, they don't kill them, just scare them. It's a 2 birds 1 stone situation! At least, that's what she tells herself.

You re-reblogging that reminded me. lol
Tavart/Astarion: 13, 25, 33
And on a platonic note, Tavarti/Gale: 44
13. What would they say the other's best quality is?
Astarion would snidely say something about her being "so helpful". He actually only likes that bleeding heart of hers when it bleeds for him. Others? Nope. What a waste of her time and blood.
He likes her passion. Her fire. He likes seeing her worked up, smiting beasts, smashing goblin skulls against her shield. She's not a gentle, pacifist healer. She's a knight. She doesn't go down without a fight and at the end of the day she is using her powers to impose her idea of good on others. They're not so different as far as he's concerned. He just needs to help her understand that is all.
Tavarti would say his best quality is his tenacity. He's gone through absolute hell and is still fighting. He went days without eating after having only bugs and rats for 200 years. He has endurance, a holy quality to Ilmater. He's...plucky. You have to respect that.
25. Physical quality? If you asked, Astarion would say "her heavenly body" while Tavarti makes a disappointed/disgusted face in the background.
In reality, she's just so much like the sun. Being an aasimar, she's warm and tan. Her eyes are like sunburst. Her hair is like fire. Her smile. She just...lights up a room. She's as far from "undead night creature" as you can get, he finds that...refreshing.
If you asked, Tavarti would blush, try to get out of answering, then just say something vague like "his face". All while Astarion hangs off her, batting his eyelashes, trying to get her to look at him.
Really? Him. Just all of him. He reminds her of those marble statues of angels she grew up seeing in temples. His pale complexion, his refined features, his natural poise. His eyes are definitely her favorite feature though. She sometimes feels, as a paladin, those unnatural vampire eyes should trigger repulsion. Yet, she finds them so mesmerizing (she attributes this to a vampire trick at first). Expressive, deep, puppy dog eyes she's weak to. He's well aware of this, I'm sure.
33. Who says 'I love you' first.
Tavarti will not say it. She'll feel it, but she will not say it. She feels she has no right to and even if she did, it would not/could not be returned. He is a vampire after all. She's being rather foolish getting as attached as she is.
Astarion would resist it at first. Not wanting to hand that power over to her. Once he feels safe. Completely safe. He'll make a big show of telling her and then an even bigger show of proving it to her. He'll say it every day for the rest of her life if he has to.
44. Whose the better cook? Gale, I think! Tavarti actually admires his cooking a great deal. Ilmatari are minimalists who often practice vows of poverty. They rarely have more than what is donated or grown in their temple gardens. So, while Tavarti is better at making due with very little, she's not really in the business of making amazing food. Gale thinks her resourcefulness is fascinating and learns a lot from her about how to live on the road. Vice versa too. Combined with his encyclopedic knowledge of spices, he ends up making some pretty great meals in camp. She takes turns with him (though he always kinda hovers with pointers because you know he would)
Thank you so much for asking. 🌞 I've really enjoyed answering all of these! It's lots of fun.

1, 2, 6, and 10, for Tavarti & Astarion ♥
1. What were their first impressions of each other?
"Look at this absolute tool." But, like, both of them.
Astarion saw the paladin as just another dog on a leash; with stupid little ideas of good and evil in her pretty, little head.
Tavarti saw the pompous noble get up, the fancy way he talks, the holding her at knife point after feigning distress. He looked like every other spoiled, exploitative aristocrat that looked down on/took advantage of the poor, downtrodden the Ilmatari looked after back at the Gate. He'd do whatever it takes to get his way. At the time she thought that was shallow pursuits of fame, fortune, etc. After getting to know him...well, it's still kinda about that but with revenge and 200+ of bondage added.
2. First date? Given the context, I'm going to consider a first date the first time they went out of their way to be alone together no, rutting in the woods doesn't count.
Astarion would drag Tavarti to a fancy, upperclass place (that she stubbornly refuses to dress up for). He'd order her drinks and tell her "This is what I think Laezel would taste like" and she'd try it, scrunch her nose and ask "Good God, really??".
Afterwards, provided she can still walk, they'd walk the streets together and talk. Maybe even come across someone up to no good and Astarion can have a drink too.
6. Do they have pet names for each other?
I imagine "darling" is just what he calls everyone. A little "not bothering to learn your name" habit.
When he gets more attached? Love, pet, pup, depending on the context. Sunshine when they're alone.
Tavarti doesn't have a pet name for him, unless she's returning some teasing. A snarky "darling" or "Asty" to ruffle his feathers. "Leech", "spawn", or "corpse" if they're giving each other shit.
10. How do they make up after a fight?
Tavarti would have no problem apologizing and taking accountability for her part. Astarion...well, I see him as more of a "make up sex means never having to say you're sorry" kind of guy.
They'd have a fight over, I dunno, saving a group of gnomes slaves and then almost dying over it. What a stupid waste of time and blood. They'd argue about it, storm off in opposite directions, and after a few hours of seething, Astarion would find Tavarti and hit her with a "There you are~" and a charming smile like nothing happened.
After they catch their breath Tavarti would apologize for forcing him into a situation he was uncomfortable with and remind him she has no choice but to comply if he still wants that lay of hands. He'll brush it off like he'd forgotten all about it but you're damn sure he'd remember if she didn't apologize.
Thank you ❤ you guys are making this day off fantastic 👏

Oh I forgot to elaborate from the last ask let me try again
If I may be bold and ask two, 7 and 28 also for Tavarti and Astarion
7. Do they argue? Not as much as you'd think!
Tavarti, lucky for entire tadpole gang, has infinite patience. It takes a lot to push her to the point of an actual argument.
When they do happen, I imagine it would have to do with Tavarti's Oath is forcing the group to do something they do not want to do. Something tells me Astarion resents being forced to do anything. Restrictive set of behavior rules? And nothing is compelling you? You're just choosing this? I bet it pisses him off. He'd try to force the issue or worse try and make her break it which should definitely trigger pushback.
28. Are they affectionate in public? Too much so?
At least one of them is lol.
Tavarti grew up an acolyte full of aging clergy in nn old af temple. PDA wasn't really a thing during daily morning prayers. Even after she left the temple and joined her order, it was mostly a Doctors Without Borders situation so more bleeding and diseased bodies than romance. She's not used to, and is embarrassed by it a great deal.
Astarion the Decadent on the other hand? He loves to call her "lover" in front of everyone and watch her turn red. He likes to hang off of her and kiss on her neck, almost exclusively in front of others. It's too much fun to crack that paladin shell and why pass up the chance to remind others what he has that they don't? Is it too much? To everyone but Astarion, it is.

41 for tavarti and astarion❤️❤️❤️
Lol this was a fun question considering it's a relationship between a paladin and a vampire spawn. My first thought was "Jesus are there any green flags???" Don't worry tho
So, Tavarti is first and foremost an Ilmatari. A healer who values things like respect, consent, compassion. Astarion would come to (quietly) appreciate how much emphasis the Ilmatari puts on respecting his boundaries, never mocking his suffering, and never forcing him to do anything (though she has lots of input on what he should not do thanks to her pesky oath). She always asks before laying hands on him, and allows him to come to her on his own terms. It seems small but these little bits of decency (coming from a paladin towards a literal undead creature no less) do mean a lot. He grows to trust her a great deal, especially after coming out as a spawn and having her support.
Astarion is normally probably a giant red flag to a paladin. His nature, his history, his willingness to hold strangers at knife point. Tavarti does respect his tenacity, his endurance, his appreciation for little freedoms. Despite the literal nightmare his life has been for over 200 years he is relatively pleasant to the companions when he's more comfortable, he plays along even when it doesn't suit him (helping the grove, Mayrina, literally anything good tbh) , and is willing and able to control himself for the good of the group.
Also, she finds him quite charming when he wants to be. He finds her quite amusing, even when she doesn't want to be.

WIP Wednesday 🍻
"Has anyone ever told you how depressing you are?"
It took a few moments before the paladin realized the question was, in fact, directed at her. Though now that she has she wasn't entirely sure who else the elf could be talking to. Unlike herself, Shadowheart and Lae'zel had no oaths to honor and established a zero tolerance policy of others fairly early on. She had to admit to being a bit jealous at times like these.
After a deep breath, and a bit of centering herself, Tavarti turned towards Astarion with a smile.
"No, Astarion, no one has ever once told me I was depressing them. Am I depressing you?"
This seemed to please the pale elf.   "Hmmm. Yes. You are actually, thank you for asking."
Oh, well at least he said thank you.  That at least gives him one over the githyanki.
My, how low the bar has gotten.
"You're quite welcome."
Tavarti just kept smiling as Astarion side eyed her. The paladin said nothing for a few beats, choosing instead to just stare at the elf who was (quite awkwardly, to her amusement) trying to come up with a suitably clever retort.
Unfortunately for him, her oaths don't really care much about humoring difficult men. So, Tavarti said nothing and watched him struggle with her flippant response to his obvious little barb. Until the vampire spawn started clearing his throat rather loudly for a man who no longer needed to breathe. The paladin just scoffed at him.
"May I ask how it is I am depressing you, Astarion?"
He gives her a deep sigh before replying. As if the answer had been weighing heavy on his mind all day. Poor thing.
"Well, it's just-" He gestures at her before continuing; making a show of his struggle to find just the right words. "This. All of it."
"I'm sorry?"
"Oh no, you can't help it, darling. You don't really know any better."
"That's not-"
"It's just rather sad really.  The way you just carry on like you do."
Having given up on controlling the situation (or any aspect of her life lately), Tavarti just lets him continue unimpeded. Why not? She's curious to see where he goes with this particular insult.
"You say life is precious, but how do you live yours? Vows of poverty? No lying, no drinking, no-"
"I do not recall ever saying 'no drinking'."
🍻
