How did they get like that? Took the forgaging and vulture culture a step too far. Don't eat strange flesh like mushrooms off the forest floor What can they do? I don’t have much in the way of worm lore! It definitely leans into the horror and revulsion aspect of fear. At its extreme is mystery flesh pit national park etc. It's the very human revulsion to handling flesh, witnessing gore, your insides being on your outsid.

How does it feel for them? Cozy, right. Like finding that niche you were always meant for.

The art work I put the tags on depicts the creature/worm/goop in a sort of inbetween state, not a person still, not what they're going to be. There's enough internal structure to move still but if you touched them it would be warm and squishy and leave a sticky blood residue on your palm.

10K: There have been no scavengers within my chamber since I have awoken. Instead, I have been repaired by a "slug cat" that appears to already have a mark of communication.

10K: I have sent them to find my other limbs, but it has a child with it, so I assume I will not be seeing said limbs for many cycles.

10K: And, I am afraid that I am in a very remote area. A small valley surrounded by very tall mountains.

10K: I fear I would ruin your- technological feat of a puppet. Were you built to detach? Or is that a function you have added to yourself? How useful have you found it? Is your puppet well built for traveling? Apologies if my questions are sudden or harsh, The concept of a free roaming iterator puppet is very intriguing.

Just had a dream where Worm was at my (third floor!! Third fucking floor!! Worm you creep!! /lh) window and was reciting one of those posts that's like " I'm (this), I'm (that), I (something). (Random fact). Etc" and then at the end he got really tired and just. Looked at me. Kinda creepy. And he went, sincere as anything, "I'm wondering if you're okay." And I broke down crying

10K: It has been XXXXXX cycles since my central consciousness was rendered offline. A sudden attack on my puppet left me unable to facilitate any sort of action, aside from basic processes.

10K: The current state of my can is: Good. There is minimal damage. 90% of my systems are online and functional. All damages can be repaired with current resources. Water flow is sufficient. Progress on the Great Problem will resume ASAP.

10K: However, I am currently unable to manually control most systems, due to not being fully connected to my can.

10K: I am very isolated, and have not received any communication from the other iterator in my local group.
