Story: Joey becomes suspicious of Hawkins after the disappearance, death and resurrection of Will Byers. he was viewed as crazy for pointing out the strange events which had happened in November of ‘83 such as the new girl (Eleanor?)who showed up to school the week Byers went missing or the bald Russian kid who allegedly broke a shopping market window with “telekinetic powers” or the weird creatures which he dubbed “lurkers” after season 1 he dedicates his life towards uncovering the secrets of Hawkins paying extra attention to the party and co borderline stalking them to see how they’re involved in their mystery.

Negative traits: impulsive,stubborn, mean spirited,hotheaded,paranoid,anxious,sarcastic , naive in a way.

Flaws: trouble trusting people, suffers from main character syndrome, doesn’t prioritise his health or safety, people view him as crazy, lowkey a bit of a stalker

Strengths: quick thinker,able to piece together information, pays attention to small details

Goals: uncover the secrets of Hawkins, prove the people who call him a nutjob wrong, validation.

Appearance: curly brown hair, freckly face, slight tan, tall,wears glasses

Fashion: funky knitted sweaters, wears a lot of orange,red and purple and green, often wears oversized jackets to feel like a detective.

-member of the av club in sixth and seventh grade although during seventh grade he began going to it less and less and by eighth grade he quit it completely.the party had no connection to him as he made no effort to befriend them and made insensitive comments towards Will and Dustin for being fatherless in the past.

-refers to the creatures from the upside down as lurkers.

-was locked in a storage room in starcourt mall during the battle of starcourt

-almost everytime he tries to take a picture of anything upside down related it comes out blurry

-close to finding out the truth

-has been stalking the party since season 1 and they have no idea of it. He’s too stubborn to go up to them so he resorts to doing mini stake outs. (Max calling Dustin and Lucas stalkers while Joey has been keeping tabs on them all since 1983💀)

-has broken into abandoned buildings before would have loved urban exploring.

(That sign can’t stop me because i can’t read ahh mentality)

-Him and Aaron are sort of friends although their personalities are a bit too similar so they clash.

-genuinely an asshole one Mother’s Day he went up to Will and Dustin and asked if they liked their mothers/were mamas boys and when they reluctantly answered he replied “I’d hope so because what other choice do you have”

-Aaron believes that Joey is crazy and laughs off his ideas Joey thinks that the only reason the boy still hangs out with him is so he can observe Joeys brain.
