We all know this one, it's obvious, it's the cheapest answer and I'm still going with it.

Dog & German Shepherd Specifically.

He just gives off the vibes.

He's protective, strong and good at working...jobs (obviously)

'09 Soap is obviously more put together, there is no denying or fighting that but I still feel like he thrives off of chaos, as he should.

I mean his whole time in the SAS was chaos.

Orange Cats also know when to chill the fuck out, sure they're dumbasses and a little more rowdy than others but they also chill out and become really cuddly.

This also bringing into factor Soap's hatred of dogs after the OG MW

Gaz

This is a hard one.

Mostly for the fact that I was thinking both for the OG series and new series and OG Gaz just doesn't really have that much for him in my eyes.

But I think I still have to go with, he is the true golden retriever boy.

I mean he's obv kinda the favorite for one, Goldens are one of the most favorable breeds.

He's loyal. He's kind. He plays around a little bit. He is my ideal Golden Retriever boy.

May not be a typical breed associated with him but it seems they're protective and not good with other dogs or people for a while until they know them

not really an au but kinda fluffy, idk if you've talked about Missy evolving but if she never does (or at least not for a long time) the extra energy goes to her just getting longer? (In the same way that Val grows more tails and Booker looks somewhere between a teddiursa and ursaring) So as the gang gets older Missy just ends up laying all over the place, draped over the couch and chairs, or curled up in a wide coil (or just a tight vertical spring lol), or accidentally tangled between limbs Fluff comes when the group needs a big hug and Missy is able to wrap them up more and more until they can't really fight it and have to appease the loving dragon

I adore this, her being really noodly and cuddly is very on brand for her, a sweet and good Pokemon and for sure she’ll gain some of that as she ages BUT and it’s a mildly exciting but. I have designed her a variation evolution, and she will be evolving at some point but not for a while. It’s a story point so I have to figure out the perfect point to put that in and it be in keeping with the arcs.

I personally don’t much care for OG dragonite when matched with plum specifically, it’s a clunky chunky design and she’s quite elegant, as is Missy, so the variation is more suited to stealth and dark/ghost types that plum hunts for fun. Missy however retains her joyous personality!

I do love the noodle pile up tho… may have to draw that. And Boa fuming in the BG over it.
