nope no ones asked yet! ok so basically

(current) himeru and tatsumi were best friends when tatsumi got injured in the revolution incident . he broke his leg entirely , and was told hed never be able to be an idol again . tatsumi was devastated and was worried his fans would feel betrayed by his absence , so himeru offered to succeed tatsumis name as the new himeru, and all was well for awhile . queue the beginning of !! main story; tatsumis physical therapy went wildly better than expected , and since being an idol was what he knew how to do, he decided to give his idol career another shot as a member of alkaloid . since it had been so long since current himeru had acquired the name, he felt bad if he were to suddenly request it back, so he abandoned the name and left current himeru to remain himeru . when himeru saw tatsumi had returned to idol work (when he was under the belief that this was impossible, and wouldnt have become himeru if this was not the case) he was happy to see that tatsumi had recovered , but more than that resented him for leaving him high and dry stuck with an identity that never belonged to him . and thats why himeru hates tatsumi (although rather than anger its more of a lingering stinging pain kind of hate, the kind that makes you lie on your bathroom floor and sob at 8pm and makes you bite your tongue when you see them around), but tatsumi only has bittersweet feelings about himeru (the kind you feel when you see an old friend in public but dont say hi because even if its only a couple feet, emotionally the distance between you is farther than you can walk and you feel like you no longer have the authority to ask if theyd meet you half way)

Im in a Himemayo mood and everyone is going to deal with it. Here's some headcanons/ideas!! (Btw I use she/her for Mayoi so if it makes you uncomfy beware, she's my fave transfem)

-HiMERU fell in love with Mayoi first, he originally began to observe her because of the fact Tatsumi was so close to her, but quickly found out how interesting she was. He convinced himself that it was only to find ways to hurt Tatsumi by getting closer to her, but truly he found her charming. He observed small habits of hers, her favorite things, things she didn't like, even patterns in her speech. The nail in the coffin was watching her perform her center song with Alkaloid (believe 4 leaves) and being spellbound with how talented she was.

-Mayoi fell in love with HiMERU after him repeatedly being kind and considerate to her. He had gotten close to her and she even somewhat let down her walls around him. The confirming moment was when she was having a panic attack because of how crowded a place was, and HiMERU took action to bring her to a secluded area. HiMERU comforted her and gave her reassuring words, and once she was in his embrace, Mayoi realized she never wanted HiMERU to let go.

-Everyone knew they were in love with each other before they even said anything. Rinne had no shame teasing HiMERU in front of Mayoi about his crush, while Alkaloid more respectfully poked fun at Mayoi during practice when she'd receive a message or call from HiMERU.

-Tatsumi definitely was/is in love with Mayoi, and it hurt to see her in love with someone else, but he wanted to see her happiness more than anything and was thankful that she had HiMERU, who treated her correctly. He even prays quite frequently for the couples happiness and that neither of them receive any harm. He is their #1 supporter (besides OGmeru and Tatsumi can be canon this way 😈)

-They're both absolutely obsessed with each other. HiMERU sees cute things/clothing that reminds him of his girlfriend and if he thinks she'll like it he buys it immediately. He texts her and calls her whenever possible. Not only that but he picks her up from practice to simply walk her to the dorms just to spend some time with her. Mayoi knows exactly how to get to his dorm from any given point in ES through the passageways she uses, and visits him frequently (even from her own dorm, god forbid she uses the hallway). She memorized what he smells like and what shampoo/body wash he uses, she knows his schedule exactly and even reminds him of things if it's needed.

-They bake together frequently. Sometimes they make so many sweets together that they end up having extras to hand out to their units/circles. Alkakurei appreciates it so much that sometimes they request specific things to be baked, Mayoi happily complies and HiMERU complies because he loves his girlfriend.

-Mayoi loves styling HiMERU's hair and playing with it. She frequently uses her cute hair clips and bows on him and takes photos of him afterwards. She also does his makeup sometimes just to top it all off. HiMERU loves seeing her happy and honestly thinks she does great afterwards. He was never one to wear much makeup but he honestly thinks he looks good afterwards.

-Mayoi loves fashion and styling her outfits, with this she'll choose outfits for HiMERU too. They wear matching outfits sometimes and Mayoi takes lots of photos to post on her private social media accounts.

-Mayoi finds it quite fun to post on her socials, especially her private instagram (that only other ES idols are allowed to follow). She frequently posts photos of her and HIMERU on dates/together to show everyone how much she loves him, but in the safest way possible.

-They both love physical affection. Mayoi is very cuddly and whenever it's just the two of them they're barely separated. Sometimes they just sit on one of their beds cuddling and watching something on one of their phones. Or just cuddling and talking together, ignoring everything else in the world (like they frequently do together).

-HiMERU is always there to support his girlfriend at Alkaloid lives. More often than not, he's back stage comforting her and helping her in her dressing room. After she walks onstage he either stays in the wings to watch her perform and to be there when she walks off, or exits to the audience to watch it himself. Either way he always has tickets to every live he can get that she performs in (and vice versa)

Got done with my math class work early thanks to himeru thoughts as motivation… allow me to elaborate.

Kaname has my heart he’s a little cutie and I wanna take him on a date but oooooo big brother Meru is sooo fine *swoons* I will annoy him. It’s been established that I wanna Oremeru to strangle me lovingly bc he has a massive crush on me but I’m also super annoying (bc I am) so I have two thoughts I might elaborate on. One is enemies to lovers/ “you’re so annoying I’m gonna forcibly make out with you” with Oremeru or serial romancer dates Kaname and his big brother doesn’t want Kaname to get hurt so he takes them for himself<3 maybe he’s being a little selfish but he’s convinced himself it’s so his little brother doesn’t get hurt. If I do follow with actual fics I could very easily add them sharing which is my favorite~

Also if you made it here fun fact I have a thing for characters named Kaname (Kaname Date, Kaname from vampire knight even though vampire knight is a little icky and now Ogmeru)
