"Wait, wait, wait." San shakes his head in disbelief. "You're going to your sister's company summer party? With Y/N?"
"Mhm." Wooyoung responds nonchalantly.
"I thought her car was already getting fixed at the shop though, what does that have to do with you?"
"You think my sister is gonna leave it at that?" Wooyoung cocks a brow before putting down the navy button-up shirt back on the rack. "I'm just doing her the favor so she can let me be. I know she'll continue to hang it over my head if I don't."
"Wow, you're strong."
"I only agreed cause it's one night. And cause of the whole thing with my sis. Believe it or not, I don't always want her finding reasons to nag at me."
"Wouldn't that be weird, though?"
"What?"
"Being Y/N's date."
"Sure, but it's whatever."
"What're you even gonna talk about all night?"
"I don't know? Am I supposed to have a list ready and check it off as I go?" He gives San a weird look. "I'll figure it out. Who knows, it might not even be that bad."
"I'm not gonna lie, she did look pretty cute at your parents' bbq."
"She's always been cute. She's just shy as hell."
"Mm, yeah." San starts to eye the sweaters on the rack, pulling out a few and hanging it against his chest to see how they'd look on him. "So, what are you guys wearing?"
"I'm not sure." San's forehead crinkles when he turns to look at Wooyoung.
"Aren't you supposed to be sure? You're going together. You have to match."
"Well, we don't really have to. We're not dating, we're just going to a party together as friends."
"Acquaintances."
"Yeah, okay Merriam-Webster." Wooyoung scoffs and pulls out a black button-up shirt that he probably already has in his closet— but it wouldn't hit the same as buying a new one for a summer party. "Stop trying to make it seem like it's super complicated when it's not."
"I'm not. I'm just having a hard time imagining it."
"Then, don't. She's really not that bad."
"Wish she wasn't so shy." Wooyoung turns to San.
"Or.. what?"
"Maybe I would've tried getting to know her more."
"Fuck outta here, Choi San. You're only saying that shit because I'm taking her out to a party." Wooyoung points towards the front of the shop. "Wait. You see that right there?"
"What?" San leans over to try and get a good look at what Wooyoung is pointing at.
"Look closely." He ushers him to get closer. "If you look straight ahead, you'll see the front door. You can take your exit there."
"Fuck you."
"Shut up then. Don't start saying that stuff about Y/N." Wooyoung rolls his eyes as he continues to flip through the racks, trying to spot more clothes to buy and fill his closet with. He's not really sure why he feels the sudden need to be protective of you, especially with San. Hearing him say things like that rubs Wooyoung the wrong way and he's not sure if it's because he's known you for years, or because of something else that he doesn't really wanna think about right now. In the end, Wooyoung doesn't deal with feelings. They're too complicated, and they tie him down.
"Oh my god! Those dresses are so cute, you'll definitely find one here!" Wooyoung overhears from nearby.
"Whoever that is, sounds exactly like my sister." Woo does a slight head tilt and pretends to shiver. "Can't escape—"
"Because it is your little sister, dummy." San nods his head towards your direction, the both of them watching as you, Jiwoo and Hongjoong walk into the same store. It's almost like the sibling radar goes off for Jiwoo because it doesn't take long before her eyes meet his.
"Why are you here?" She asks, slowly approaching them.
"Waiting for security to take your ass out." Wooyoung looks at the security guard and pretends to call him over. "Excuse me. The nuisance is right here, sir. Please escort her out." Jiwoo rolls her eyes and walks closer to him, giving Hongjoong the opportunity to greet him and San. "Whattup!"
"Taking these girls shopping for the party." Hongjoong responds.
"Me too!" Wooyoung points at San, causing him to click his teeth in response. "Hey Y/N." He smiles down at you and pulls you into a hug before San does the same.
"Are you wearing black to the party?" Jiwoo holds out the shirt Wooyoung has in his hand.
"And if I am?"
"It's a summer party."
"Black goes with everything?" Jiwoo gives him a look that he reciprocates. "You know, now that you're here Y/N, maybe we can shop for our outfits together."
"Sure, okay—" You respond softly, about to step closer to him when Jiwoo holds your hand and tugs you back.
"I'm shopping with her."
"I have better taste than you."
"I think not." She looks down at the shirt again before looking back up at her brother. "Anyway, we'll be off to find our dresses." She links her arm with yours as you quietly continue to shift your attention between Jiwoo and her brother. "Byeeeee!" She swings you around and drags you towards the dresses in the back corner of the store. Hongjoong lingers around the boys for a little longer, shopping for new shirts himself. The boys talk about their upcoming plans before the summer party, also throwing in some guesses about how the summer party is going to turn out.
Meanwhile, when you and Jiwoo head to the dresses, your eyes automatically land on a strapless corset midi dress— it has a simple black and gold abstract print on it, the fabric mainly mesh. It'll be a little tighter than you'd like, the side slit a little higher than you'd like, but you thought it'd go with the vibe best. There are a few other dresses that caught your eye, and Jiwoo encouraged you to try them on in order to decide which one worked best.
You could like the way one looks, but it could be completely different when you put it on.
But, your decision remains the same; the abstract dress fits you well, and you can't lie, you feel the sexiest in it. The corset bodice, along with the bodycon fit, provides enough support and shape to hug you in all the right places. Jiwoo squeals when she sees you in the dress, completely agreeing with your decision [she would've any other way]. She jokes that her brother better keep his hands to himself with how good you look and all you can do is shyly shake your head with a tiny giggle before heading back into the room to slip it off.
"Did you find your dresses?" Hongjoong comes, eyeing the dress Jiwoo has in her hands.
"Mhm! Is my pain in the ass brother still here?" Hongjoong shakes his head.
"Him and San just left."
"Good. The dress Y/N has is to be kept a secret until the party. She's gonna look so good, I might have to tell Wooyoung to keep his hands to himself." You come out of the dressing room with the dress tucked closely to your chest, hanging the rest on the go-back rack.
"Hongjoong, please tell her she doesn't have to do all of that." You look at him and he chuckles. "Remember? You're the one who put your brother up to all of this just so I could go to the party. I'm quite positive it's just a favor and nothing else." You all walk towards the register to pay for your items.
"Still, okay? You're gonna look amazing. I gotta give him a little warning and make sure he doesn't get super handsy with you." She shivers, making you playfully roll your eyes in response.
"Jiwoo, are you gonna help me with hair and makeup? Cause I literally won't know what to do that'll go well with this dress."
"Of course, bae! We'll make it pop, but keep it simple. Trust me on this." She squeezes your wrist just before handing her card over to the cashier. Once her and Hongjoong finish paying, you follow them down to the food court, ordering some friend chicken to munch on before sharing a huge bowl of bingsu with the two. You catch San and Wooyoung passing through the food court, now accompanied by two other girls. They don't look familiar, at least you don't think. In any case, it doesn't make you feel any better knowing Wooyoung simply agreed to go to the party with you as a favor to his sister.
The harsh reality settles that this meant nothing more, nothing less.
You were just a favor.
Tumblr media
The day of the party comes quicker than expected. Work had been so busy that the days had flown by, bringing you to your present:
Which is, Jiwoo helping you pop in some hazel colored contacts before doing your makeup and hair.
"Keep your eye open!"
"Ugh, I hate contacts. Jiwoo, you know I hate the feeling!"
"I know, but I promise it'll be over quick! Just keep it open and don't blink. The more you resist, the longer it'll bother you!" You groan again, gaining the last bit of courage to keep your eye open for Jiwoo as she aligns the contact and gently places it in. "Close and blink for me?" She watches and claps. "Perfect, now do the same for the other eye."
"Jiwoo." You whine.
"I know you can't do it yourself!"
"I can go without them!"
"But, the colored contacts give you a pop and it's cute!"
"I'm literally crying." You point at the tear strolling down your cheek.
"Beauty is pain, my dear! Just for one night! Now, keep still—" She pauses, the both of you holding your breaths while she pops in the last contact into your left eye. You flinch the moment it settles, dabbing at the tears that stream down your cheeks.
"Never again. Wooyoung is literally not gonna care."
"Who said this is about Wooyoung? It's your first summer party, forget my brother. You're gonna be the hottest thing to walk that winery." You shake your head, letting Jiwoo dab some powder onto your cheeks. "You look good, girly! Look at you!" She shoves the mirror in your face. Jiwoo did some loose curls on your hair, and a very natural look for your makeup. Fake lashes, a shade of blush that pops on your cheeks, clear gloss, natural eyeshadow— just enough razzle dazzle, but nothing too extra, as Jiwoo says.
You don't really recognize yourself, though. But, in a good way. You like the change. You normally don't wear makeup, you don't do your hair. You like to think you're simple, maybe too simple, but you don't mind it one bit. That was you, and you've come to embrace it. The change, though? It was nice to see on you once in awhile.
"Thank you." You smile at her and she squeals before checking her phone.
"Okay, my brother should be here in a bit. We're gonna take off and meet you there?"
"Why are you going so early?! You're not gonna leave at the same time as me and Wooyoung?!"
"Nope. We gotta get parking and get first dibs on the wine." She snorts before flashing her phone, screen signaling a call from Hongjoong. "You'll be fine, okay? Granted, as long as Wooyoung doesn't fucking text and drive again but I'm sure he won't with you in the car."
"Jiwoo!"
"I'll see you in a bit! I love you, mwah!" She says, grabbing her things and rushing out of your studio; heels click-clacking away on the pavement before she squeals even louder seeing her boyfriend. You shake your head, dabbing a bit more highlighter across your collarbone just like Jiwoo taught you.
Within the next 25 minutes or so, you munch on some apple slices you already had in the fridge, somewhat satisfying both your hunger and sweet tooth. Just as you're re-applying lip gloss, Wooyoung's call comes through on your phone, startling you and causing you to drop the wand onto the floor.
"Oh shoot." You grab the wand and blow it off, submerging it back into the tube. "Hello?"
"Yo— everything okay?" He laughs a bit hearing the rustling in the back. "I'm downstairs."
"Sorry, just dropped my lip gloss." You whine a bit away from the phone. "I'll be down in a second."
"Ah, hate when that happens. See you in a bit!" You hang up the call and spray on another spritz of perfume before grabbing your purse, shutting off your lights and closing up your studio. You slowly climb down the steps, Wooyoung probably questioning why you're taking each step 2 miles per hour and sideways.
You make it down in one piece. Slowly, carefully.
You shyly slip into the passenger's seat, and you almost pause mid-way when you glance at Wooyoung in the driver's seat. As promised, he's in a simple black-on-black fit— a crisp black button up with the sleeves rolled up ever so slightly, black dress pants and black boots. His hair is tucked back in a ponytail with a few strands framing his face. The car smells like his cologne, and he's chewing away at some gum while waiting. You've seen Wooyoung formally dressed before for special occasions, but there hasn't been one time you found yourself ogling at him the way you are right now.
You've never seen him like this, or maybe you just never paid attention? You didn't really have a reason to until tonight. Well, you didn't really have a reason because he was your bestfriend's brother.
"Hi." He says, setting his phone down in the middle console. Thank god he didn't catch you staring at him the way you were. But now, he's doing the same and you're not sure why he's staring. Do you look weird? Is something on your face?
"Hi." He softly smiles, eyes still exploring your body from head to toe and you feel the heat rising to your cheeks.  "What? Is it cause my eyes are kinda red?" You pout, immediately looking through the passenger mirror. "I swear I'm not like, high or anything. Jiwoo helped me put the contacts in earlier—"
"She, what?" He chuckles before shaking his head. "No, nothing. I just— you look beautiful, Y/N. Was taking it in, that's all."
"O-oh." You tuck a strand behind your ear before settling back into your seat. "Thank you, Wooyoung."
"Of course. You ready?" He glances at your seatbelt and you give him a nod to drive off. "Alright, lehgo." He says, shifting the gear and turning up his music a bit. The familiar voices of Blaque comes through on the speakers, Wooyoung softly singing along to JC Chasez's part in Bring It All To Me. You knew Wooyoung could sing, but it still blows your mind every time you hear his voice. He has one hand gripping tightly onto the wheel, the other resting on the gear. "Do you know if my sister and Hongjoong left already?"
"Yeah, they did about 30 minutes ago."
"She's deadass gonna be the first person there."
"She said she wanted dibs on parking and the wine."
"Gonna be the first person there and drunk. Free entertainment." You chuckle. "Your dress." He points at your dress before shifting his attention back to the road. "It's pretty. It looks good on you." You smile.
"I picked it."
"I figured. You've always had better taste than Jiwoo."
"Stop." You chuckle. "She did my hair and makeup."
"Really?"
"Yes, really." He nods in approval, bottom lip poking out. He really does think you look incredibly pretty— he's always thought you were cute, beautiful. But tonight, he can't take his eyes off of you and that'll be bad news for him as the evening continues. First and foremost though, his goal is to keep you comfortable and happy tonight. His goal is to make sure you have fun, and that's what he'll do with your pretty little self.
"Okay, I'll give her that. But, that stays between us." You snort.
"Sure, Woo." He chuckles.
"Warm enough? Music too loud?"
"No, it's all fine. I'm good. Promise."
"Okay, cause we still have about another 30 minutes to go before we get to the winery."
"I'm fine." You reassure him with the prettiest smile before returning your attention outside the window.
"So, does Yeosang know you're going?"
"No."
"Mm, okay. Definitely not prepared for him to beat my ass tonight. I did wear my good socks though, so.. he can try it if he wants." He shrugs.
"He's not like that." You respond softly with a giggle. "Besides, it's my fault. I withheld it from him intentionally."
"Well, what's the deal? If you don't mind me asking." You sigh. "My sister said it'd be weird for you two to go to the party together so I'm suspecting it's a one-sided thing."
"I just.. don't see him that way."
"Why don't you just tell him?"
"I don't know. I'm not really good at these things. I don't know how to say it and I don't wanna hurt his feelings."
"You'll hurt him more by letting it slide like this, you know?" Wooyoung shrugs. "It's okay if you don't feel the same. No one can ever force you to feel a certain way and he'll understand that. But, it'll make it easier on everyone if you're just honest from the get."
"Mmyeah."
"I promise. It'll be tough to get it out, but he'll appreciate it."
"I know, I know."
"In the meantime, are we avoiding him tonight? Lemme know the plan." You shrug.
"If he comes up to me, I'll just explain. Then.. go from there. Wherever that is." You pout a bit.
"Hm." Wooyoung hums when he sees the worried look on your face. "Don't worry about it too much, okay? We'll have fun tonight."
"I feel bad that you're here."
"Ouch, why? Don't want me here?"
"It's not that. You were basically forced to be here so Jiwoo wouldn't get on you for her car."
"Eh, well. Her car is fixed. She can't always force me into things. Besides, it's free entrance to a winery with unlimited wine. Why would I say no to that?" You chuckle.
"You say that now."
"We'll enjoy it together, yeah?" He looks at you and you meet his eyes, nodding quietly in agreement. You hope you'll be able to enjoy with Wooyoung, but as of right now, you're a bit anxious and scared for what the night will bring.
Tumblr media
When Wooyoung pulls up into the main lot of the winery, the parking attendant signals for him to follow the rest of the cars into the extended lot. He jokes under his breath that maybe, he should've followed his sister's lead with this one and left earlier. But, it doesn't last long when he's able to snag a spot right by the back entrance near the winery's lawn area— aka, where the party would mostly take place.
"Alright. If we ever need to dine and dash, just say the word. We'll leave." He says, hopping out of the car while you laugh to yourself. He swings your door open and holds out his hand for you to take, shutting it close after he's gotten you out of the car. He looks at you up and down once again, causing the heat to rise to your cheeks— this time, at a new intensity. "Yeeeesh, I gotta say, you look fine, 'lil mama." He smirks. Cause yes, that dress falls along your curves, your body, so beautifully. That dress pushes up your tits so nicely.
And that dress hugs the curves of your ass so, so perfectly.
"Wooyoung." You whine a bit before playfully [and very softly] punching his bicep.
"Ah—" He laughs, holding out his arm for you to take. "I'm just being honest as your date."
"You're making me shy."
"Am I?" He looks down at you with another shit-eating smirk. "What else can I do in the next few hours?" You squeeze his bicep as you enter through the back door, greeting familiar faces. To your surprise [or not], Wooyoung immediately introduces himself as your date and Jiwoo's brother, causing your colleagues and everyone around you to hype you both up as a good-looking couple. You don't even know how to respond besides a 'thank you,' letting Wooyoung take on most of the work with his 'yeah, i know we do's' or 'i know, she's just a little shy about it though's.'
"Shoulda left 30 minutes earlier." Jiwoo says, pulling you into a hug before Hongjoong follows suit. "The baddie herself has finally arrived!"
"Shoulda left on time 30 minutes later." Wooyoung retorts, still properly hugging his sister and greeting Hongjoong.
"Time to catch up!" Jiwoo raises her glass and taps it. "The wine is pretty good, can't complain."
"Coming from the person who likes Svedka Vodka."
"Hey! It's cheap and does the job quick!"
"That's why my bar closed a long time ago for you." Wooyoung winces before turning to you. "Wanna go find the right wine for you to sip on?"
"Charcuterie board was just replenished, too!" Jiwoo yells, just as she watches her brother hold your hand and lead you into the winery. "It's so weird to see him doing all that with her."
"Well, he is her date." Hongjoong says with a laugh, sipping on his wine while he holds her by the waist. "He's taking good care of her. Let 'em enjoy it tonight, hm? Just like we will." He hums as she giggles, placing a kiss on her temple before whisking her away to the other finger foods that were just set out.
As you approach the table with endless different wine bottles set on the surface, you keep yourself close to Wooyoung especially with how packed the room has gotten. Wooyoung sets himself in between a red wine, a white wine and a bottle filled with some sort of pink-ish liquid, his hands grabbing two wine glasses and setting them down on the edge of the table.
"There's so much wine."
"Yup. It's nice that you don't have to pay for a dime. These things get costly."
"Which one is good?"
"Hm, let me check. I've heard of this winery but I've never tasted their wine before." He says as you continue to keep close behind him, looking over his shoulder. He picks up the bottle of red wine and takes it to his nose. "This smells hella bitter." Wooyoung says, smelling the red wine. "You probably won't like this one." He sets it back down and picks up the bottle of white wine. "Chardonnay might not be too bad." He pours a bit in his glass and hands it to you. "Taste it." You take the white wine into your mouth and make a face. "No?"
"Kinda bitter still."
"That's okay." He laughs and points to the pink bottle. "That might be good! Can never go wrong with Rosé. Wanna try it?"
"Can you taste it first?" Wooyoung nods, pouring himself some rosé— enough for a little sip. He nods in approval, shifting his attention back to you.
"It's good! You'll like it. I'll pour you a bit again and you can let me know if you want more or not." You nod. He hands you the glass, watching intently as you take a sip and nod in approval.
"Oh, this is good!"
"Yeah? Glad you like it." He pours some more in your glass, a little more heavy-handed than you like but you'll go along with it for tonight.
"What're you gonna drink?"
"I'm just gonna take some of this Cabernet and babysit it for the night." He reaches over to grab another bottle of red wine a couple of buckets away. He pours himself about half a glass before he's sipping it and humming in approval himself. "Yeah, that's pretty good." He sets his glass out, giving you the opportunity to taste his wine of choice. You take a little sip, shaking your head after giving him his glass back.
"Yeah, no." He laughs.
"It's okay. Red wine is tough to work with. At least we found you some good rosé, though. You gotta take those drinks for the both of us."
"Just one glass will do."
"Mm, a couple sounds better, though." He teases, lacing his hand back with yours as you both walk towards Jiwoo and Hongjoong, sharing a table with your other coworker and.. Yeosang.
"Y/N?" Yeosang looks up at you in confusion, and it almost breaks your heart the way he looks at you. You catch his eyes dart from you to your hand that's currently intertwined with Wooyoung's. "Wooyoung."
"What's up." Is all Wooyoung says as he looks at him over the edge of his glass, taking another sip.
"It's nice to see you—" Yeosang pauses and looks at you; you can't help but give him a pursed smile in return. "Together?"
"Mmyeah—"
"I see you went with the rosé! Nice choice!" Jiwoo cuts in, giving you a look to go along with it. "It's good, isn't it?"
"Yeah, it is. We tried the others, wasn't a fan of them."
"They can get kinda strong." She says, downing the rest of the Chardonnay in her glass. "Welp, it's a good thing we have refills right at the table! Seems like we're gonna need it." She pours herself more Chardonnay before pouring you a bit more rosé.
"Jiwoo! I haven't even finished the first glass yet!"
"It was getting warm, you needed the refill." She smirks. You squint your eyes at her before briefly scanning the table, Yeosang now occupied with your coworker. He doesn't seem to want to make eye contact with you any time soon, and that particular unsettling feeling hits you in the gut. You're scared you've already ruined your friendship for pulling this stunt, for not being honest in the first place. You're scared you might've lost your other bestfriend because you were too busy hiding.
"Good?" Wooyoung leans forward to look at you, his soft eyes trailing over your features. He can already sense the shift in your mood and he doesn't want you to start overthinking and getting in your head, especially tonight.
"I think so."
"You sure? Got my good socks on." He points down to his boots. You smile at his reminder and it instantly eases him.
"I'm sure." He nods, slipping his arm behind you to rest on the back of your chair. Luckily, the CEO kicks off the dinner portion of the evening. He starts off his speech that lasts about a good minute, thanking everyone for their hardwork and dedication this point in the year. Once finished, he calls on a table to begin lining up for dinner. You, Wooyoung, Jiwoo, Hongjoong, Yeosang and your other coworker patiently fall in line for the buffet-style catering. Wooyoung makes sure to slip in behind you, creating a barrier between you and Yeosang even if there's no obvious hostility. It does help knowing he's creating some distance and you appreciate him for it. You fill your plate with a good scoop of food before settling back down in your seat.
The table enjoys dinner; thankfully, everyone is in good spirits and is cracking jokes despite the awkward moment that fell between you and Yeosang earlier. Even if he was upset, he'd never show you [or anyone] how he was truly feeling, and that could very well become an issue, too.
When it's time for the dance portion, Jiwoo fills your glass along with hers. Even though you had eaten a good amount of food, the alcohol was quick to seep back into your system and loosen you up. But, even with the liquid courage, you couldn't help but still feel shy around her brother.
He just looked so good tonight, you were afraid of looking like a damn fool in front of him.
In your favor, all Wooyoung cares about is making sure you have a good time. He can see how much you're trying to hold back, even when Jiwoo drunkly throws her arm around you and starts vibing to the music. At some point, the crowd splits you and Wooyoung from Hongjoong and Jiwoo, leaving you to your date to enjoy you all to himself. The DJ starts spinning familiar songs from the 90s, bringing a huge smile on Wooyoung's face.
"Come here." He says, pulling you closer to him as you dance around with him. "It's just me. Don't worry about anything or anyone else." He gives you a reassuring look, his hands loosely laced with yours. You start to feel more comfortable with his reassurance, singing and dancing along with Wooyoung. You find yourself laughing and playfully teasing Wooyoung when he shows off his dance moves and pulls you along into his shenanigans. Your worries seem to be a distant thought at this point, no longer being concerned about every little thing, every little detail.
You're having tons of fun with Wooyoung. You're no longer trying to control what can't be controlled, letting the night take care of the rest on its own.
In between, Jiwoo ends up finding you in the crowd, shoving more rosé your way to get you at a good drunk. And sure as hell, the trick works. Wooyoung finds himself smiling in pure adoration over you, letting you lazily wrap your arms around his neck while singing along to the songs and keeping you close—
Until there's a shift in the air and you feel the liquid courage finally kicking in the way it should.
Wooyoung takes your hand and turns you around, a hand resting on your hip as you dance against him. You don't even care that you've backed yourself up against him and are dancing on him the way you are, thoroughly enjoying how he grips your hips and pulls you flush against him.
It's a little much for someone like you, but you find that it gets you going. Almost has your brain going on overdrive, fixating on the fact that Wooyoung has you like this— wants you like this.
You continue to dance against him, loving the way he holds you and keeps up with your rhythm perfectly. It goes on for a few more songs, Wooyoung shifting to the side to get a good look and hype you up. He's had his fair share of dancing with women at clubs, but he can say hands down, he has never had as much fun as he did tonight. You didn't dance like you were out to prove yourself or something to anyone, to forcefully catch his attention or be someone you're not for all the wrong reasons— you just danced to have fun with him, trusted him to take care of you and help you loosen up. It was all genuine fun and good vibes; he's at the point of wishing the night would never end just so he could stay right here with you.
There is literally no care in the world; just you and Wooyoung, enjoying each other's company at this summer party you didn't even wanna go to. In the end, you're glad you ended up here with Wooyoung because it truly was one of the best nights you've had in such a long time.
"Woo." You turn, tired from all the dancing you've been doing with your handsome date.
"Yeah, babygirl?"
"I gotta pee." He snorts.
"You should definitely break the seal if you wanna start sobering up."
"I should, huh?" He laughs and nods.
"I'll wait out here for you, okay?"
"Mmkay." You part from him and it almost aches you to leave him for a second to relieve yourself. The need to pee becomes urgent, your feet rushing you along to the bathroom for a release. Good thing there isn't a line, and that the bathrooms are practically empty— you can sigh away in peace before washing your hands and freshening up a bit. You're excited to get back to Wooyoung, and it shows with the way you giddily pace out of the bathroom and down the hall—
Only to be stopped in the process by none other than your other bestfriend, Kang Yeosang.
You turn and find him there, a small smile plastered on his lips. Your heart immediately drops seeing him, and the guilt comes rushing back. You can't help but frown a bit, pursing your lips together before responding properly.
"Yeo, hi." You look at him with doe-eyes and he isn't sure if he should be more upset over the situation or sad. Maybe sad, because it's clear where you stand with him. And it sucks, but what is he to do? If you're happier elsewhere, who is he to prevent you from having that happiness?
"Hey you." He says softly. "I've barely seen you all night."
"Yeah, just been on the dance floor. My feet kinda hurt now that I think about it." He chuckles a bit.
"Sounds like you're having a good time."
"Um, yeah. Yeah." You repeat. "It's been good. Hope you're having a good night?"
"Can't complain, I guess?" There's a pause before you break the silence.
"Yeo, I'm sorry. It all happened last minute, I really wasn't trying to go but Jiwoo asked her brother and—"
"It's okay, seriously. It's fine. You don't have to explain." He says waving it off, probably trying to make it seem like it's not a big deal when yeah, maybe it isn't. But, you know he's still hurt. You know he still feels a hint of betrayal by the way this all went down— for saying no, for turning down the party, for not telling him you were all of a sudden gonna be here with Jiwoo's brother. For brushing his feelings under the rug.
"Is it?" You ask, still pretty drunk. If this were any other circumstance, you'd probably run away and hide.
"Uh, yeah, it will be." Yeosang shrugs, unsure of what to say because he is sad about it, now that he truly thinks about it and lets the situation settle in his head.
"I'm sorry." Is all you say as a small frown builds on your lips. Just as you're about to turn to get back to Wooyoung, Yeosang catches your wrist and gently tugs you back. You look up at him, eyes full of curiosity as to why he's holding you back. You're scared for what's to come next, but you give him the opportunity to tell you whatever it is anyway.
"Maybe we can talk about this over dinner? Just me and you?" And as much as you should stand your ground and say no, you can't help but feel like you owe it to him. Maybe this would be it— the doorway to being honest, to telling him the truth. Maybe you two could have a good, friendly dinner and get past this without ruining what's already there; as friends.
As for Wooyoung, he sees the whole thing with Yeosang. He can't help but watch, either. His eyes were scanning the crowd tough, a little too eager to have you back in his arms on the dance floor. When he finally caught your figure, your dress, standing in the main hall talking to Yeosang, he felt his heart drop. He's not sure what's going on, can't really make sense of what's being exchanged between the two of you. Yeosang still hasn't let go of your wrist, but Wooyoung catches you nodding before he does. Whatever it was, he's hoping you aren't hurt or anything along those lines.
"Hi." You smile toothlessly at him and he has the sudden urge to cup your cheeks, to pull you into his arms and hold onto you. At least you're smiling at him, that's all he could ask for.
"Hey." He smiles back. "I almost thought the toilet swallowed you." You laugh and shake your head.
"What if it did?"
"Then I'd have to go in there and save you, right? Who would I be if I didn't?" He holds out his hand as the next song plays, a little bit of that Jon B. with his They Don't Know. "Mm, I really like this song. Can we head back to the dance floor? I mean, if you don't wanna it's fine but please don't make me slow dance by myself." You giggle, taking his hand and letting him lead you back to the dance floor. He gently wraps his arms around you while you wrap your arms around his neck, his hands firmly keeping you pressed close to him.
"Wooyoung."
"Mhm?" He maintains eye contact with you as you sway to the song, following along to the beat.
"Thank you. For tonight. I've had a lot of fun."
"I'm glad. That's all I wanted." He smirks. "Assuming I'll get a free ride to next year's party, too?" You laugh.
"We'll see."
"No seriously though, I'm glad you had fun."
"I did. I really did." You tilt your head ever so slightly and the lighting from the string lights, the moon, hits you perfectly in this angle that Wooyoung feels his heart skip. The highlighter on your collarbone provides an extra layer of glow to everything about you and he honestly doesn't know how to act right now. You feel his hand gently rub at your lower back, his eyes moving from your nose, down to your lips. You catch his Adam's apple bob in an attempt to swallow this sudden nervousness down.
And you could be wrong, you don't really know what's going on in his head and vice versa. But, the moment his face starts edging towards yours, you can't help but follow his motions. In a sudden turn of events, you find yourself wanting, even needing to kiss him; you really hope to—
"If I didn't know any better, it actually looks like you two like each other a lot annnnd iono about all that." Jiwoo says, carrying the rosé bottle in her hand while Hongjoong tries to tug her away. Wooyoung rolls his eyes and tries to move you two away in tiny steps, fighting the annoyance within him when his sister [of course] butted in at a very pivotal moment. Cause yeah, he would've kissed you, and he would've genuinely enjoyed it. He wanted this, too. "Babe, I got the bottle. Open up—"
"Baby." Hongjoong says. "Stop, put it down. Let's go! Leave them alone!"
"Jiwoo, the hell. Are you trying to poison her?! She's good." Wooyoung says lowly with his brows furrowed, subtly brushing his sister off.
"Ew, fun police!" She looks at both Wooyoung and Hongjoong.
"Can you like, get yourself together? What's fun about drowning my date in rosé?"
"All of a sudden he cares." She snorts.
"Baby—sorry, sorry." Hongjoong has a sympathetic expression on his face while looking at you two. "I got this." Hongjoong whisks her away and grabs the bottle, successfully placing it down on another table before bringing her to get water.
"Jiwoo." You laugh, resting your head against Wooyoung's cheek, his grip on you only tightening as you softly sway back and forth to the music.
"Literally couldn't have been the worst time."
"It's okay. Hongjoong's got her now."
"Sorry." He says, placing a gentle, feathery kiss to your cheek. "Just know that was not how I wanted that to play out." He rubs at your sides as you giggle, continuing to slow dance with Wooyoung under the starlit sky.
Tumblr media
When the event officially concludes, the CEO and leadership team come back to the stage to thank everyone for the successful event, wishing everyone safe travels back home. Jiwoo runs to you and hugs you, asking if you had fun tonight. You tell her that you did and that you owe it to her and her brother for all of it. She laughs, happy everything turned out well and that her brother took good care of you.
"Take care of her." Jiwoo glares at Wooyoung while Hongjoong chuckles to the side and shakes his head.
"Okay, go."
"I mean it."
"I do, too!"
"Babe, text me when this big head brings you home. I might not answer though cause I'll be at Joong's but still—" You nod, completely ignoring what she's insinuating.
"Ew, no one fucking asked Jiwoo. Just go." Wooyoung mumbles under his breath, giving her a look. Your eyes widen when you feel Wooyoung slip his hand into yours and grip it tightly, leading you through the crowd of people building around the back of the winery saying their goodbye's. You both head into the car with ease, giving Wooyoung the opportunity to catch a minute before driving off.
"Hm, how do you feel right now?" Wooyoung spreads in his seat, scrolling through his phone.
"I'm fine."
"Not too tired?"
"Not really."
"Still kinda tipsy?"
"Still kinda tipsy." You reaffirm and he chuckles.
"Wanna get some food and hang out somewhere? No pressure. Can take you home if that's what you prefer."
"Um, yeah sure! Let's go."
"Yeah?" He smiles and buckles up, shifting the gear to drive. "Sick. I know just the place to get you some good snacks."
Said place ends up being a convenience store nearby that has the best egg sandwiches, spicy tuna onigiri, and Wooyoung's favorite grab n' go corndogs.
You enjoy the experience nonetheless. Wooyoung parks his car right at the front of the store, helping you hop out of the car before slipping his hand in yours. It almost feels way too natural for two people who were merely attending a party together as acquaintances, [per Choi San] but Wooyoung likes the way your hand feels in his. The way it fits perfectly, and how you seem to put all your trust in him this way. He shuffles towards the back and tosses a few things into the basket you're holding with your other arm, giggling when he debates between a regular corndog or a flaming hot cheeto corndog.
"I don't want my ass to be on fire though, so." He says out loud in the very empty convenience store.
"Wooyoung!" You whisper, more embarrassed on his behalf than himself.
"I'm just saying Y/N, sometimes that shit is outta my control. I don't want it to be one of those nights." You laugh as he looks into the basket. "Is that all you want? A corndog?"
"Mhm. I'm still pretty full."
"Okay then." He takes the items to the register and quickly pays for it, giving you zero chance to slide in some cash. He smirks when he grabs the bag and heads back to the car, letting you know that he'd never let you pay anyway.
The drive to Wooyoung's endpoint is about 20 minutes away from the store, and up a dark hill. If it had been any other situation, it would've looked incredibly scary and suspicious. But since it's Wooyoung, you trust him wholeheartedly to bring you somewhere you'd enjoy.
"It gets better, okay. I know what you're thinking."
"What am I thinking?" You squeak.
"You're probably wondering why my punkass is taking you up a dark hill. I promise the view up there is worth it. You trust me, yeah?"
"I do. Don't disappoint me, Jung Wooyoung."
"Nah, never that." He takes you further up the curvy road, finally pulling into a small lot off to the side. There aren't any other cars parked besides Wooyoung's, so it makes it easy for him to back into the spot. He leaves enough space to pop open the trunk freely, allowing you two to sit and enjoy the sideview of the city. "Careful." He says, bringing you to the trunk and making sure you're seated comfortably before grabbing the snacks. He plops into the space next to you and hands you your corndog, the both of you indulging in your snacks in pure silence.
"There's a path down there. You get a better view of the city." He covers his mouth while chewing on his corndog.
"Hm." You hum, looking up at the sky. "The stars are so bright tonight."
"I know, I don't remember the last time I've seen so many stars." Wooyoung points to the right. "Look! There's the big dipper." You chomp on your corndog as you look up to where he's pointing at.
"No, it's not?"
"Y/N. Please. That's the big dipper."
"I'm looking! I don't see it." He scoots closer and points again. At this point, Wooyoung is only inches away from your face. If you were to turn at the wrong time, you'd land a kiss on his lips unintentionally.
"There!" He says. Lo and behold, Wooyoung's right. You finally see the shape of the big dipper up ahead, even if you're slightly distracted with Wooyoung's face being in such close proximity again.
"Okay, you're right. I see it, I'll give that to you." You respond with a tiny smile.
"Haven't seen one in a long time." He smiles proudly before digging into his other snacks and powering through them. Wooyoung doesn't even move away from you after showing you the big dipper, but you aren't complaining. You've come to learn that you enjoy having him near, close. "You're done eating?" You nod, tossing your trash into the bag.
"Mhm." You hum contently. "Wooyoung." He looks at you with a brow cocked up, shoving the last bit of the onigiri in his mouth. He shouldn't like the way you say his name so softly, so delicately, but he does. Especially after tonight, he really, really does.
"Yeah?"
"I wanna walk down the path and look at the view." You stand and start walking towards the path, where it'll take you to a beautiful view of the city.
"Wait, hold up!" He says, grabbing his jacket and locking up his car. "Why does she walk so fast? Miss Quicksilver." He mumbles to himself. When he catches up to you, you feel him drape his jacket over your shoulders before coming to your side. "It's getting kinda chilly out." You look up at him with a small smile on your face, hugging the jacket closely around your frame.
"Thank you."
"Course." He holds out his hand. "It's dark, let me lead the way? You've got your pretty heels on and everything. You sure you wanna do this?"
"Yeah, please?" Wooyoung almost buckles at the knees when he hears you plead the way you do, instantly locking hands while he walks in front to lead the way. You stay close to him, especially when the path has lower visibility than you expected. He tightens the grip on your hand, carefully navigating around the bushes along the way. When he finally reaches the end and brings you to the view, you take a few steps forward toward the edge of the overlook. There's a small board off to the side that outlines the history of the city ahead and when the overlook was created. You let go of Wooyoung's hand completely to rest on the edge, taking in the city lights. The crisp night air. The sound of the stream nearby. You rest your elbows on the stone, chin resting on the palms of your hands. Wooyoung smiles to himself as he admires you from behind, coming right by your side to enjoy the view. "It's so pretty."
"Yeah, it is."
"The crickets are loud. Kinda soothing to listen to, though."
"Louder than Jiwoo, that's for sure." You laugh, continuing to look at the view.
"How'd you know about this spot, Woo? Do you take girls here on dates?"
"God, no. I just come here to chill when I need to get my mind together. I don't really share this spot with anyone." He rests his chin on your head and you don't budge, appreciating the extra body heat from behind.
"You shared it with me."
"That's cause I genuinely wanted to take you here. I know you'd appreciate it."
"Can I start coming here, too?" You look up at him with a smile.
"Only if you let me tag along." Wooyoung teases. "I am heavily equipped with the exact location details and everything."
"Mmkay, fair enough." You let out a content sigh. "I wonder what everyone's doing in the city. What their stories are like and what's happening in their lives right now. Do you ever think about stuff like that?"
"I do."
"It's crazy to think about, isn't it? Being in one place at the same time with all these people, filled with millions of different stories."
"It is." You look at the view with a small pout and Wooyoung feels his knees getting weaker over that damn pout. "Anyway." You turn to look at Wooyoung, who is very much still staring down at you in adoration. "What? Why do you keep looking at me like that?"
"What, can I not? You're just really cute, shit, sue me." You roll your eyes playfully before a yawn comes out, and Wooyoung frowns a bit.
"Yikes." You say just as you shake off the yawn.
"Tired?"
"Mm, it's hitting me now."
"The post-drunk crash." He sighs, cupping your cheeks and looking into your eyes. "Come on, let's get you home."
"What if—" You cover another yawn again. "I don't wanna?" He drops his hands back down before grabbing your hand, slowly trailing back to the car.
"Then babygirl, I dunno. I definitely do not recommend sleeping out here, though." He jokes. He could technically take you back home and do all the things he would normally do if this were any other circumstance, any other person. He could have you right where he wants you and have you stay the night.
But, he won't.
He won't do that to you because that's not what you are to him. You aren't just a body, and you aren't a temporary thing. On top of that, he probably should sort through his feelings, his emotions because he's not sure what the fuck he's been feeling all night; he just knows it's kinda different and kinda alarming for someone like him.
Feels serious, too vulnerable.
"Yeah, I agree." You say sleepily, clinging onto Wooyoung's arm as you walk back to the car.
The ride home is quiet, and exhaustion almost completely consumes your body that you barely realize Wooyoung's thumb gently caressing the surface of your hand. You shouldn't get used to the feeling so much, knowing this is might all be for show especially over a summer party. It hurts to think about, but it's not like Wooyoung willingly wanted to be here. Maybe a small part of him did, but at the end of the day, this was purely a favor for his sister. You didn't think he'd catch feelings over one night, no. It wasn't in his nature to. You didn't expect that whatsoever, either. But, you also couldn't help but feel things after the way he treated you tonight. After the way he took care of you so, so well.
Was it wrong to feel infatuated? Was it wrong to feel happy, giddy, after the time you shared? Being in close proximity all evening, sharing little subtle affectionate moments together?
The voice in your head tells you yes, and that you should know better than to think it'd last past this night.
You are you, and Wooyoung is Wooyoung.
"Y/N?" Wooyoung softly taps your thigh. You turn to face him, recognizing the awfully familiar neighborhood behind him. You had been deep in your thoughts, along with the mix of exhaustion, that you didn't know you've already made it home. "Thought you fell asleep. We're here."
"Already?" You give him a tiny, soft smile that he reciprocates before running to your side and helping you out of the car.
"You don't have to walk me."
"Y/N, please. Don't start spitting out nonsense." He says, unbuckling his seatbelt and running over to your door. He tucks a hand into his pocket while waiting for you to step out, shutting it gently behind you. He walks you up the steps to your studio, silently trailing behind even as you fiddle with your keys to open your door. Once you get it open, you turn to him with that angelic smile he's mesmerized by, causing him to smile in return.
"Hope you had a good time tonight."
"I did. I really, really did. Thank you for.. you know? Accompanying me and what not. Everything, really."
"It was fun." He pulls you into a hug, squeezing you gently. When he pulls away, he keeps an arm wrapped around your neck, planting a kiss on your temple. It lights a fire within you, the heat rising to your cheeks when he pulls back and looks down at you. "Get some sleep, okay?"
"You too. Drive safely." You feel the need to reciprocate the kiss somehow, and it doesn't help that Wooyoung lingers around for a second— mainly to make sure you make it inside your studio. With all your thoughts, you still find yourself reasoning with the giddiness you're feeling. You find the courage to tippy-toe and place a chaste kiss on his cheek, rushing into your studio with a soft: "Goodnight!" before shutting the door. Wooyoung silently laughs to himself as he digs his hands into his pocket, nibbling on his bottom lip to prevent himself from smiling too big at the action.
But, his heart is damn near beating out of his chest, another thing that feels pretty unfamiliar but familiar at the same time. The only thing he knows for certain is that it probably can't be good for him—
To feel this way. Forcing himself to walk away from your studio after spending a good evening together. To want to call you even though he's just in his car downstairs. To keep you company until the next morning.
After all, you were starting to feel more than just a favor to him.
Those feelings can't be good for him.

In Your Dreams, Jägerman
Tumblr media
Alright, I’m on a new kick after watching Nerdy Prudes Must Die. And I am saddened that I couldn’t find any fanfics so again, if I want it I got to write it myself.
This is spicy so those under 18 DO NOT READ! I have warned you.
This has religious stuff, but mostly sex in a church.
“And I was thinking since you’re new in town and you come to my church now. You can help me stop the school dance.”
(Y/N) stopped at her locker giving Grace a look, “why do you want to stop homecoming?”
“Because (Y/N),” she huffed, "I run laps in that gym and I don't want to step on any wayward spunk when they dry hump in there.”
She makes a face at her choice of words and roll her eyes. “Only you Grace would stop a whole dance for that.”
Grace glared at (Y/N) as she closed her locker, “you don’t seem so on board with this (Y/N). Why is that?”
(Y/N) shrugged, “I just wouldn’t go and tell the coach to allow you to run laps around the school.”
Grace blinked at her like her words didn’t make sense.
“I’m still going to stop it.”
She just sighed and watched Grace walk away. She was grateful she at least had one person she new from Hatchetfield. Ever since her parents made her move here for their careers, she wanted to just try and fit in somewhere her senior year. She knew Grace from a church summer camp her parents made her attend.
Her parents and the Chasity’s had the same views with religion, while (Y/N) just went along with whatever her parents said. It was better to just nod along and say nothing then to start her “drama”, as her parents put it.
So she was proclaimed as the “good christian girl” by the students of Hatchetfield High. This new nickname has brought a different kind of attention that she didn’t think was going to happen. But come on what did she expect, there is porn.
“Well, well, well, if it isn’t little miss good girl herself.”
Max Jägerman. The jock and self proclaimed “god” of Hatchetfield High.
She groaned as she tuned around to see Max lean up against the lockers behind her. He grinned at her as she crossed her arms.
“What do you want Max?”
“I just want to know what my good girl is up to. Heading to class?”
“I am not your good girl Max.”
He pushed away from the lockers to step closer to her.
“Oh but you are. You’re saving yourself for special old me.”
She rolled eyes, “in your dreams Jägerman. And as everyone here knows I’m saving myself for god.”
If she was going to be called the “good christian girl”, she might as well act like it.
He grinned as she felt her back hit the lockers and he placed his hands on either side of her to keep her trapped there.
“Yeah, you’re saving yourself for me.” He leaned in close and whispered into her ear, “I’m gonna be your new god baby.”
She pressed her legs together and bite her lip as he placed a small kiss on her neck, under her ear.
“Fuck you Jägerman.”
“Wow, that’s not a very good girl thing to say.” He grinned at her as she stared back at him.
“Just go away and leave me alone,” (Y/N) pushed him off of her and went to walk away before turning back to him.
“And you’re never gonna be a god, Jägerman.”
She started back down the wallway when she heard him shout, “but I already am good girl!”
—————————————————————————————————————
(Y/N) sighed as she laid in bed, staring at the ceiling in thought. Still thinking about the conversation Max and her had.
‘God he’s so stupid, and hot. That wasn’t fair.’
She rolled over with a huff.
“Why is the hot jock the worst guy ever.”
(Y/N) glanced at the clock, 10:00. Ugh, she should sleep before she keeps thinking. She rolled over to the other side and let her body relax, closing her eyes.
——-———————————————————————————————————
Opening her eyes, she looked at her hands folded in front of her, kneeling in prayer.
She snorted with as she looked up and around, her face scrunched in confusion. The church she was in wasn't the one Grace's or her family went to.
It was a big cathedral, an alter in front of her with the Bible open. There were candles everywhere, making the lighting feel intimate.
“Hey there, my good girl.”
(Y/N) gasped and whipped her head toward the husky voice. The voice that she knew all too well.
“Max?” She whispered in shock as he walked toward her in a… priest uniform?
She swallowed harshly as he just smirked at her.
“Have you come here to confess your sins?”
She just stayed silent as he stopped right in front of her, looking down upon her like she belonged there. (Y/N) felt herself get warm at she tried to avoid looking at his groin right in front of her face.
“M-Max, what are you doing?”
He shushed her and placed his hand under her chin to make her look up at him. He grinned as she made eye contact, making her bite at her bottom lip. He groaned and knelt down on the floor so they were face to face.
She couldn’t help but admire him this close. His blue eyes looked dark with the way he was looking at her.
“Do you know how wild you drive me (Y/N)?”He whispered as he leaned into her. She let her eyes start to close as he got near, feeling his breath on her lips. She shook her head.
“I want you to say ‘no sir’.”
She gulped and opened her mouth to let out a shaky breathe.
“No sir.”
He smiled and chuckled, “thats a good girl.”
She let out a whimper as he pressed his lips against hers. His lips were soft and surprisingly gentle as she placed a hand on his shoulder to steady herself.
‘Oh God. this can not be happening right now.’
She pulled away and placed her hand against her lips, closing her eyes. This was making her feel things for him.
Max grabbed her arm to pull her hand away, “whats wrong baby? I thought we were enjoying ourselves?”
(Y/N) looked back at Max. He was smirking again and she quickly stood up.
“Enjoying ourselves? Max we are in a church, we shouldnt be doing,” she threw her hand out to him, “this.”
He smiled and cocked an eyebrow, “I didnt see you complaining. I say that you were even enjoying it.”
He growled at the end of his sentence and (Y/N) couldn’t help the shutter that ran through her body. She quickly moved away from him toward the alter, trying to clear her head.
“Oh god, what am I doing?”
“Well if you’re asking? Then you should be doing me.”
She turned as he snuck up behind her to speak. She yelped as he lifted her up and pushed everything on the alter off of it. She gaped at the bible being thrown on the floor before looking back at Max. He placed her ontop and placed his hand on her thighs. She watched as he pushed her skirt up.
She felt like she couldnt breathe as Max slowly knelt down in front of her.
“I know that you should be on your knees worshipping me, but why not let your god reward you for such devotion.”
She tensed as he said those words to her.
“You’re not my god Max.”
He smirked up at her as he pulled her closer toward him, having her body lean back against the table.
“Oh but I will be baby.”
Before she could say another word she yelled out as he rushed forward and licked up her pussy.
‘Am I not wearing underwear?’
She couldn’t think after that thought because Max Jägerman was licking up her pussy right now. He groaned as he tasted her and sat back a little to run a hand up her thigh. He looked up at her and smiled as she watched him push a finger inside of her.
“You taste heavenly (Y/N).”
She groaned at his words and actions and let her head fall back. She let her body just feel everything that was going on. Moaning loudly as she felt him lick her clit and suck it into his mouth as he added another finger.
“Fuck yes Max. You’re making me feel so good.”
She couldn’t help but to run her hand through his dirty blond hair and give it a tug. He groaned against her and pulled away again.
“Yeah? Is your god making you feel good my dirty girl. Having me eat you out on this alter in god’s house.”
She gasped and snapped her head upt to look at him. He had an evil smile as she tried to breathe and shake her head.
“N-no. you’re not-”
“Yes I am,” Max’s face got serious as he slowed his fingers from moving.
(Y/N) whined and moved her hips to try and make him move again.
“Tell me I’m your god (Y/N).”
“No,” she exhaled.
He grabbed her thigh and pulled it close as he bite down. She screamed as the pain hit her at the same time Max started moving his fingers again, harder into her. He released her skin and smirked at the dark red amrk on her thigh.
“Tell me,” he growled.
He looked back into her eyes as she watched him. She could feel herself start to tense and the burning inside of her get hotter.
“Say ‘you’re my god Max’,” he said in a condescending tone, “and I’ll let you cum.”
She felt her mouth fall open as he leaned down to suck her clit back into his mouth. As she started to get right to where she wanted he started to pull away again. She quickly wrapped her legs around his back and gripped his hair into her hand.
“You’re my God! You’re so amazing please god let me cum! Please Max!”
He smirked against her and nodded his head as she looked down to see his eyes open up to look at her.
“Cum in my mouth my good girl.”
—————————————————————————————————————
(Y/N) shot up in bed as she cried out and grabbed at her blanket. She blinked her eyes rapidly as she looked around her bedroom.
She let out a whine as she fell back into bed and threw her hands to her face. She moved a leg and felt something on her thighs. She pulled up her blanket to see a pillow shoved in between her thighs and whined again as she grabbed it and found a wet spot on it.
“Great I had a wet dream and ruined my pillow.”
She threw it across the room when a knock came from her door.
“Dear? Are you alright? I thought I heard something strange.”
(Y/N) grimaced as she looked at the clock on her night stand.
“No mom sorry. It was just a bad dream.”
“Oh alright. Well better get up for school then dear. Don’t want to be late.”
“Alright mom,” (Y/N) sat up before her mom spoke up again.
“Oh and honey? Don’t forget your father and I are leaving for the Bible study weekend trip today so we won’t be home when you’re done with school.”
(Y/N) said a quick ok as she moved to get out of bed when it hit her. She gasped and threw her hands to her mouth as she looked toward the pillow.
“Oh fuck, I had a wet dream about Max Jägerman.”

you and conrad had a secret relationship two summers ago, when you were 15 and he was 16. you broke up with him because your younger sister, belly had liked him, and you were afraid of hurting her. now, flash forward, you were 17, and you thought you had gotten over him, but maybe you haven’t

v. first rehearsal
THAT NEXT DAY, i didn't have work, i had my first debutante rehearsal, and no date.
i got ready, i wanted to make a good first impression. i put on a silk pink dress, and tied the front pieces of my hair back with a pink bow.
laurel drove me and belly to the country club.
laurel told me my mom would be proud of me, for doing this.
i saw jeremiah working, and i looked over at belly. "hey, belly, you go ahead, i'll meet you in." i smiled at her.
once she walked away, i went up to jeremiah.
"jeremiah." but he seemed to not notice me, walking. "jeremiah!" i called again, and his gaze met my eyes.
"oh, my god. wow, y/n, i didn't even recognize you." he lets out a small laugh.
"i know, i look like an idiot." i look down, laughing a little too, this wasn't my usual style.
"no you don't, you look good." he complimented, and i smiled. "let me walk you over."
as we walked over, we both just talked, like we usually do. we walked into the room, arm in arm.
jeremiah laughed. "i still never thought i'd see the day where you're a debutante."
"yeah, yeah, so funny." i sarcastically said.
"jeremiah." a lady walked up to us.
"paige."
"where's your shirt?" she asked.
"it's always a pleasure." jeremiah kissed her knuckles. "this is y/n. the young woman my mom told you about. my future wife." he winked.
i hit his arm, he was joking, but i did not see him that way.
"she's late." paige said.
"i'm- sorry." i apologized.
"you're at table 2."
jeremiah took one of the cookies. "jeremiah, those are for the girls!" paige warned.
then jeremiah glanced over at me, before leaving. "knock 'em dead."
i smiled as he left, he was a good person to have in my life, one of my best friends.
i saw belly sitting by herself, looking uncomfortable, i looked next to her and saw the girl conrad was kissing at the bonfire, and the girl steven was with.
i sat down next to belly. "finally." belly said, sighing.

"i told my mom the only way i would do this is if i can bring my girlfriend." marissa talked. "'cause i thought it was be a deal killer, but the club has been surprisingly chill about the whole thing."
"i'm honestly shocked." dara said.
"dara, i was expecting a conversion camp." marissa told her.
"yeah, but cousins likes to pretend to be woke." nicole told them. "trust me, my family deals with it constantly."
"the things we do for college applications." i mumbled, slouched in my seat.
"don't worry y/n, you'll get in everywhere." shayla assured me.
"probably not." i said.
"you sure?" she smiled. "steven told me you play 2 sports and get good grades."
"wait- where are you applying?" belly looked at me.
"uh.. i told you. a few different schools. but my main one is usc."
"what about you?" marissa asked belly.
"oh, belly's only a sophomore, right?" nicole made sure. "i think that's what conrad told me."
"yeah, i'll be a junior in the fall." belly politely smiled.
"and, y/n, you'll be a senior, right?" nicole asked me.
"yep." i nodded my head.
"so, is this your first summer here in cousins?" dara asked us.
"no, we've been coming here our whole life." i told her.
"yeah, they're like family friends with conrad and jeremiah." nicole told dara.
"uh, so, are you and jeremiah like- a thing?" gigi asked me. "are you going to take him to the ball?"
i nearly choked on air when she asked that. "jeremiah? no way. he's only my friend."
"gigi has had this thing for jeremiah." nicole laughed.
"ever since he got abs." shayla teased, and the girls started laughing and talking.
"relax, i'm not into jeremiah fisher." shayla added after a comment.
"oh, so you're just noticing his abs?" dara asked.
"she's too busy eye-fucking the waiter." marissa joked.
"dude!" shayla laughed. "that's belly and y/n's brother."
"oh.. gross." belly looked down.
"what's it like for you both living with jeremiah and conrad?" dara asked. "conrad's so mysterious."
i did love living with them every summer, jeremiah's my best friend, and so was conrad, but conrad's completely done a 180 this summer i don't even know anymore.
"i-"
"hello debutantes!" paige spoke up.
ੈ✩‧₊˚ ੈ✩‧₊˚ ੈ✩‧₊˚ੈ✩‧₊˚ ੈ✩‧₊˚ ੈ✩‧₊˚
after the rehearsal, i noticed belly had a good time, her and nicole had started forming a bond, with nicole being belly's big sister for the deb.
and belly had gotten a date, with the guy from the bonfire, cam.
the four of us sat on the couch, bored out of our minds.
"yo, this shit is so boring, can we go somewhere?" jeremiah asked.
"yeah, where?" steven asked.
"we could go into town." conrad suggested.
"buy some weed from that guy." i also suggested.
"nah, he got arrested. last summer." conrad told me, not looking at me
steven smirked. "we could go to the drive in."
"dude, gross, no. i-i don't wanna watch belly hooking up with some kid in the backseat of a mini van." jeremiah shut down.
"yeah, we shouldn't go." i agreed with jeremiah.
"yeah, actually." conrad had finally spoken up. "lets go to the drive in."
"actually?" steven said.
"yeah." conrad simply responded. "why not?"
it took me a second to realize they were being serious, and my eyes widened a bit. "no, we're not going to the drive in."
they didn't say anything to me, which just caused me to talk more. "this is her first date, if you guys go, you'll ruin it, just don't go."
conrad threw the keys to steven, with a smirk, and i rolled my eyes.
"you all are so immature." i insulted. "i'm going to my room. you better not ruin her date."
ੈ✩‧₊˚ ੈ✩‧₊˚ ੈ✩‧₊˚ੈ✩‧₊˚ ੈ✩‧₊˚ ੈ✩‧₊˚
later that night, belly came into my room looking sad.
"belly? what happened? did things not go good with cam?" i had so many questions.
"no.." belly looked down. "they went great actually. but the boys ruined my date."
my lips slightly parted, i wasn't really shocked, no, but i was disappointed. "seriously?" i scoffed. "i told them not to go."
"and- me and conrad had an argument." belly ranted.
she told me all about the argument, including his little comment where he had said 'why don't you look in the mirror some more.'
i didn't get it. why was he acting like this?
but yet, i still defended him, i had to. i knew he cared about belly, and she needed to know that. right know she thought he didn't care about her at all.
"listen," i put my hand on her shoulder. "he cares about you. i don't know what's going on with him either, i'm not going to justify it, but he's probably going through his own things. don't let it get to your head."
"thanks." belly smiled. "and things weren't so bad, cam kissed me on the way home." her cheeks had turned a little pink.
a grin appeared on my face. "you serious? oh my god, isabel conklin."
we spent the rest of the night talking, watching movies in my room, and eating snacks."

Might I request a Villain, who while fighting Hero in their Lab/Base, accidentally sets off a Trap/Weapon, backfiring on them, and ends up all wrapped up in some sort of Net/rope. Hero just laughs, Villain being angry and flustered that they made this mistake, accuses the classic line of "Are you into this or something!?" and much to their dismay, Hero responds smugly with "Yeah, how could you tell?"
And if it is not too much, as apparently one of the few "Villain gets railed by Hero" enjoyers, could I request at least the implications of that, and as you'd expect, make it as spicy as you'd like ;) - 💌
Request #22
Hmmmmm yes...this will do splendidly for my return.
CW: SPPIIIIICCCCYYY
Five minutes had passed and still the hero hadn't stopped laughing. It was humiliating enough for the villain to have stepped into their own trap - to have effectively disarmed themself as they fell to the ground, dropping their knife the second the ropes had hit their ankles and wrapped up around their legs and arms, the villain now no more agile than a fish on land - the last thing they needed was the hero laughing at them.
The villain was surprised the other hadn't passed out yet. There had been a brief moment where the hero had gone silent and the villain had presumed their incessant wheezing had finally led to their suffocation but the world clearly didn't feel like being that kind to them today.
"Are you finished yet?" the villain asked.
More laughter.
They rolled their eyes and then rolled themself, turning to the side so that they at least didn't have to look at the hero as the other practically broke down into tears. It wasn't that funny. Didn't the hero have better things to do - people to save? A city's ass to kiss? Gods, couldn't they just arrest villain already so they could get out of these stupid ropes!?
The villain squirmed as they tried to free themself once more, huffing when their arms remained pinned to their sides and their legs were as good as glued to each other. If only they'd managed to keep hold of their knife... They could see it now. Just a few steps in front of them, beneath their failed attempt at a freeze ray. Even if they made it over there they wouldn't be able to reach it. That required arms, and hands, and apparently they could currently use neither--!
A hand pressed against their shoulder and suddenly they were being turned to lay on their back, eyes already fixed into a glare before they even caught sight of the hero above them.
"If you start laughing again..." The villain let the threat fall flat, jaw clenching when a small giggle broke through the hero's lips.
"No, it's - I'm," the hero took a breath, barely containing the smirk that crossed their face, "I'm good now, I-- I'm fine, I swear."
"I don't care about your wellbeing, I care about my dignity! Now stop laughing and get me out already!" the villain seethed.
To that the hero merely tutted, a playful huff of breath leaving them as they regarded the helpless villain below them. "Wow. You're at my complete mercy and you still can't even say please."
The villain stared up at them unamused. A few seconds passed and they quickly grew tired of looking at the hero's stupid grin, moving to turn themself once more only to have the hero hold them back - the other's legs suddenly straddling their waist and trapping them in as if the villain could have possibly gotten away from them. All the villain had left was the ability to roll and now they couldn't even do that - what more did the hero want?
"I'm not begging you," the villain said. That was the one low they refused to steep too.
"Aw," the hero pouted, "not even a little?"
The villain glared. "Oh, you'd like that, wouldn't you? What, having me tied up beneath you isn't enough? I bet your into all that stuff aren't you - I bet you're just loving this."
A pause.
The villain felt themself flush a little as the hero's smile grew wider.
"Yeah, I am. How could you tell?"
Unbelievable. The hero was unbelievable - who just said that? Who just admitted that openly to- to anyone?
"Y-Your joking," the villain said.
The hero simply shrugged. "Am I?"
"You don't just...th-that's not--"
"Not what?" the hero asked innocently.
"I don't know!" the villain spat, too flustered to think. "You don't just go around sharing your kinks, that- that's private!"
To that the hero merely hummed, that stupid grin still plastered on their face as they regarded the villain below them, hands splaying out across their chest. "You're blushing," they commented.
A pause.
"N-No I'm not," the villain said quietly, cheeks burning brighter even as they spoke. "And even if I was i-it would only be out of embarrassment! E-Embarrassment for you!"
"If you say so..."
The villain didn't like that tone of voice. The hero sounded cocky, and - as far as their past encounters were concerned - a cocky hero was a dangerous one.
They held their breath and averted their gaze as the other suddenly leant in closer, their lips practically brushing against the villain's cheek: "Are you sure that's all there is to it?"
The villain gulped. "O-Of course. What else would it be?"
The hero smiled and leaned back again, leisurely trailing their hands over the ropes which crossed the villain's chest.
"Oh, I don't know," they said slowly, their fingers working their way beneath the binds. "I just thought that, perhaps--" They grasped the ropes, twisted them and pulled up, the villain gasping at the sudden tightness across their arms and chest as their back rose off the floor "--we had a shared interest."
Even if they'd had their hands free, the villain would have never been able to hide the deep blush that spread across their cheeks and down their neck, the tips of their ears similarly tinting pink as they gaped up at the hero above them. They squirmed, their new position quickly growing uncomfortable when the hero twisted the ropes once more - waiting for a response that the villain was too flustered to give.
"Well?" they prompted.
"I-I, um..."
"You what?"
Gods, the villain was panting - breaths far too shallow to give them sufficient oxygen to think straight.
"Oh, come on now. Don't be shy," the hero said. "A smart villain like you always has plenty to say: you can't tell me that all it took was a little rope to make you dumb--"
"B-Bananas," the villain muttered.
The hero paused, grip loosening a little as they raised a brow. "Bananas?"
The villain nodded, face completely flushed as they shuffled slightly, an undeniable heat building up between their legs. "It's m-my, um, safe word."
"Oh. Oh!" The hero's eyes widened, an apology quickly falling from their lips as they went to put the villain back down only to have the other suddenly shake their head.
"N-No! Th-that's not- I meant--" the villain sputtered out a wild mix of words in a rush, the hero catching absolutely none of it but pausing in their actions all the same until the other had taken a breath, gaze averted off to the side as they tried again. "I just thought you, um, sh-should know. I-In case I need to...y-you know."
It took the hero a second to process that. In fact, it took them two. But once they did their grin returned to them quickly as they pulled the villain back up, gripping the ropes just as tightly as they had before.
"Yeah?" the hero checked.
Beneath them the villain nodded, a content sigh slipping past their lips as they let themself relax into the other's hold - the hero's free hand coming up to run through their hair and give an experimental tug that had the villain shuddering delightfully. They repeated the action again, a little stronger this time, and it earned them a small moan.
"Well then," the hero said, eyes practically transfixed upon the bound criminal beneath them, "in that case, I'm sure we can find a much better punishment for you than prison. One that's more...fitting. Personal."
The villain had never heard the hero say something so promising in their life. If this was how they avoided arrest, then perhaps falling into their own trap hadn't been a complete failure on their part after all.

Ideas/HCs based off friend post?? <3
OH MAN LMAO OKAY UH?
I wasn't expecting AU asks but that actually is a fucking hilarious concept to me
Edit I am adding a fucking readmore because I am INSANE please click for submas rambles
So the tags say l4d and I'm gonna be so fr I don't know a lot of the lore, but I do know zombies and that there are special types
I honestly think, theres two kinds of scenarios that can definitely play out and it all depends on if Ingo gets amnesia or not (if we go with the no pokemon theory, therefore Uxie does not exist, BUT there are other ways to get amnesia so we vibing) because there are plenty of scenarios that make sense for random persok to have serious amnesia. If Ingo just, Wakes Up somewhere he definitely would be logical about it and start off with "I must have been injured whilst trying to survive" rather than "I'm from a different fuckikf universe help me"
My first thought is, if he does get amnesia from idk hitting his head or just Arceus being a cunt, then I think he is a very practical man and would adjust accordingly. He would be stressed as fuck, yeah sure. He would be VERY unhappy about having to be more aggressive in his stance on how he approaches situations (and not understand why he feels like there should be somebody else at his side handling more aggressive/threatening scenarios) but, much like in Hisui, he can definitely go from being funny train man so scarily ripped old man who can and Will deal with shit as needed.
I think guns would absolutely be a learning curve, though. He is used to the loudness because of trains, and I personally headcannon Ingo as hard of hearing and that's why he yells so much (which he would also have to learn to control to not alert the zombies in his immediate area) but I still think he is autistic enough to probably not appreciate how loud guns are. I think he would Deal With It but be moderately grumpy about it, I also think he sould probably be a great shot because of how calculating he can be, rather than if Emmet was in the situation where he would just shoot first and think second.
If we were in a situation where Ingo did have his memory though, I genuinely think that woukd be worse in a way?
The entire time he would be trying so hard to get back to Emmet, it would be literally his only goal, right next to not dying. He would probably speak about Emmet a lot, and also regularly use him as his motivation. God forbid he got injured, his only words would be "I can't die here, I need to get back to him, he must be so worried". He would absolutely also likely put his own health above others slightly more than if he had amnesia, because when he cannot clearly remember Emmet he falls back into his protective older brother stance of making sure everyone else is okay first. ESPECIALLY if they are kids, like in Arceus with the player character.
I also think if he ever got returned to Emmet, he would be much more of a changed man than when/if he returns from normal Hisui. Like deeply traumatized type beat. Amnesia or not, returning to a safe place after being in a horrible location that you literally have to kill to survive would do numbers on his mental health. I think he likely would end up very jumpy, with some form of PTSD, maybe even from the guns and would have issues with loud sudden banging noises. I think he would likely require Emmet to straight up be like a service animal (servive sibling? lmao) to keep him company in public so he wouldn't start tweaking. Crowds would probably stress him out, and he'd also probably be much more touch repulsed than before hand, where I imagine Ingo to be neutral to touch while Emmet is deeply touch adverse (minus Ingos touch, obviously)
Wow I fucking rambled . More asks if you have more questions please because I am unwell (I also deeply enjoy this AU idea ngl I think we should traumatize Ingo a little bit more. For the sillies. It's enrichment to him)

28 Avery
Avery’s new daily life was certainly different from the one at the graveyard. Instead of just helping tear apart planes and helping Ryder around. His life now had a specific schedule that involved lots of physical activities, like sports.
Right now he was forced to play tennis, which was a bit easier for him to play. But he still wasn't that good at it.
Sports have never been Avery’s forte, he was always much a more artsy kinda guy.
He remembered back when he went to school and had to get his PE credit over with it would be the worst part of the day.
He would usually get yelled at by the other guys for the dumbest reasons. like how he failed to pass the ball on time, or how he didn't even catch the ball even though it was nowhere near his reach.
God he didn't like PE.
Once he finished playing tennis he had a rare chance to see someone, which was Ryder.
He wiped the sweat off of his forehead and started to look for Ryder.
It seemed like Ryder found him before he could because he saw Ryder start to rush over to him.
He ran up to him and gave Avery a tight hug, it seemed like Ryder had been unknowingly affectionate towards him lately.
“Wow these sports have been easy! I expected them to be harder.” Ryder tells him.
“Yeah, I know.” Avery says in response.
Avery has noticed when he's taking breaks that Ryder is rather strong and seems like he could play just about any sport imaginable.
Sometimes he stares at Ryder for a bit before going back to playing like he gives him some silent determination, which helps him a bit while playing.
“So how have you been with this?” He asks Avery.
“Oh I've been somewhat decent at it, at least it's easier than the rest we've done.” He tells Ryder while mumbling the last part.
“I get it, some things are just easier than others.” Ryder says.
Avery was starting to think their conversation was a bit awkward, before he could try to think of something else the bell ran for them to switch to a different class.
Ryder gives him a grin and a wave before walking away to his next activity. He returned it.
Avery walks into his next class or whatever they would even call it here and he sees another set of nets set up like it was at tennis.
One of the instructors picked up a nearby ball and faced the group of teens.
“Alright, were gonna be playing volleyball for this activity!” The instructor starts off, “Now split up into groups of two and I’ll pair you up with a different group to face off!” They finish off.
Avery looked around to see if there was anyone he recognized or knew well, but somehow there was no one in the crowd like that.
‘Crap’ He simply thinks.
Eventually he was forced to be paired up with a random guy he didn't know and seems to be in the same situation. They were both placed against a team that seemed rather competitive.
He and his teammate stood there waiting for the opposing team to start, the duo seemed to be talking to each other like they were scheming something.
Avery just tried to remember what the strike position was like because you couldn't throw or smack the ball. His teammate just seemed clueless or wasn't bothered to even play, like he knew this was gonna be pointless.
Before Avery couldn't even know it a sudden striking pain hit his face. He turns his head to see what even hit him and he sees the volleyball on the ground rolling a bit away from him.
He looked across the next to see the opposing team laughing their heads off while his teammate walked up near the next.
“What the hell was that?” He yells at the team.
Avery could feel some kind of liquid running down his throat. He looks down and sees blood dripping out of his nose, he immediately pinches his nose and looks around to find the instructor.
He sees the instructor already across the net lecturing the opposing team and he feels his teammate pat him on the shoulder.
“Come on, the instructor told me to bring you to the nurse.” He tells him.
Avery just gives him a small nod and starts walking with him.
The nurses office at the camp oddly looked just like a school nurses one or at least one you'd seen in a pediatricians office. He sits on the bed with the crinkly paper that felt somewhat nostalgic to him.
The nurse was somewhere, he assumed this place wouldn't even have a nurse and only those surgeons. But he guessed the people owning this whole camp didn't want any of their “merchandise” damaged.
Avery waits for the nurse to come and he feels himself get lost in thought. He remembers back at the graveyard shortly before it got raided that he tried to confess to Ryder. The moment back then felt perfect to him, but now it seemed like there wasn't a perfect moment to confess to him.
‘But what if there is one.?’ He thought.
The door to the room he was in suddenly opens, snapping Avery out of his thoughts.
“Okay! I'm just gonna see if the nosebleed did anything bad to you then you’ll be on your way!” She says as she approaches him.
She starts examining his nose and throat, he started going back to the thought of Ryder.
‘What if Ryder gets unwound before me?’ He thought.
‘I mean he's doing better at me with these activities and already seems like a worthy product to be unwound.” He further thinks.
Avery starts to panic in his head before a voice in his head tells him something.
‘Figure out a good time to confess to him, then see how he feels.’ The voice said.
That thought seemed to knock some sense into him as he now had a plan.
‘Yeah I will.’ He thought, ‘I’ll find Ryder alone then confess to him, then I can find out how he actually feels about me!’ He further thinks.
‘I..I just hope he feels the same.’ Avery thinks

hellooo today's reminder is one: key and renjun hiking together what is this friendship I'm obsessed i need to see so much more of it and two: hosh and taemin doing the god of music challenge which. whom should I be jealous of, my husband or my son? I'm gonna go with husband because they probably filmed him doing taemin's challenge on the same day and that means he's heard the song already and i NEED it to come out asap because the teasers look SO good. also i was thinking about it and i realised this will be taemin's first solo album since he was discharged, which is i think nearly two years ago now. I'd expected they'd have him on his insane promo schedules instantly, but it looks like they've given him time to prepare, and i know there's a lot of his own input in his music and i absolutely can't wait because i feel like this will be the spiritual successor to criminal and idea in a way that advice just wasn't
also re: k pop fans being annoying. i saw a reel that explained it perfectly yesterday. i can't find it anymore but it was basically this girl saying k pop is so fun if you ignore all the 14-year-olds who think it's a lifestyle. like i have silly little photocards in my phone and i giggle about grown men cheating in games and when I see my bias with my friend's bias, I'll send it to said friend saying "us". and honestly she's so right, k pop is super fun if that's as much as you immerse yourself. I've been very careful to avoid any and all drama for a while and I'm having a blast
I really wanna know more about Key and Renjun's friendship it feels so random like key being friends with Ten, of course that makes sense they're the same person. But I need key and Renjun to have a cute little show together I need to see their full dynamic. Aww, your family has come together, and Taemin was so cute and looked so happy. Oh wow yeah he's had a pretty long break before any solo activities of course the shinee comeback had to come first. But I'm glad he had such a long time to prepare and I am so excited to see and hear everything it's going to be amazing. Also wayv's newest track video is sooooo good, like Wayv has never disappointed they just give us hit after hit and I can't wait for the main track mv. And Riize!! I knew I'd love it but I really love it and Taro clearly already my son, Anton my new son. But Sohee, like it's hypocritical of me to say he's too young when I've dated someone his age, it was horrible and I'd never do again, younger is not safer learned that the hard way I still can't accept what happened but none the less Sohee, all I can say is he has my undivided attention. Someone said he looks so 2nd gen and he really does.
Yes! Like I was a 16\17 year old kpop fan but I don't remember us being this horrible. And they're so puritanical it's ridiculous. There was a video and it was saying all the things that were apparently banned as a kpop fan, being over 25, being delusional for fun and saying an adult idol is sexy while said adult idol is being sexy. Cause you're sexualizing them. I want all kpop fans to remove sexualize from their vocabulary cause they don't know how to use it properly. It's wild an adult can't find another adult sexy. Also pretty sure most of bts is 30 or will be 30 soon. Jin and Yoongi are actually older than me. Hell Taemin is older than me by a few weeks. Like kpop isn't even a hobby, it's genuinely just an interest it's not serious at all. Just silly fun. Ignoring everyone under 22 is the best bet and won't lead to a headache.

just kidding, actual end of 13 sentinels
Gouto Renya finally: the dramatic irony of discussing nurse morimura's murder case with the actual killer. Hmm so baby chihiro has the memories of -2 loop morimura (not nurse morimura the previous one. God theres 4 of them now. -2 morimura/dream morimura, -1 morimura/current morimura, baby clone chihiro, and iori). Crossing from -1 to the current loop (0) were morimura, ida, and 4 others who had lost their bodies by the time gouto knew them. I know kisaragi and miura were 2, tamao makes 3, dont know who the 4th is. Or is he talking about 426? See this is the confusing thing, half the game is written like -2 morimura didn't die in -1 and i cannot tell what is going on like am i just getting something wrong. But then what was that whole death scene and then 16 year old ida meeting 16 year old morimura 16 year "in the past". Anyways in loop 0 according to tamaobot nurse morimura is in love with 426 and feels guilty for killing him. Baby chihiro though describes 436 as a good friend. In the sentinel 16 confession scene tomibot says it wasn't 426 that attacked them like ida told morimura, it was kaiju and the 4 (what 4?) of them were dead by the time they shifted, that's why their data was incomplete. Im still confused which morimura is which. Either way what i think the game is implying is that baby chihiro and nurse morimura had different sets of memories. 2188 ida says part of the final phase had been altered so that chihiro morimura's host (whats that?) would have a memory overwrite and this was done under izumi's id but from shinonome's story i know it was 2188 shinonone that altered the final phase to loop. So gouto thinks baby morimura is the morimura from 2188. Yeah watched a wish entrusted abd -2 morinura totally died to send ida from -1 to 0. And then in year 1 of loop 0 teen morimura doesnt recognize him so the only real explanation for -1 morimura in loop 0 having menories of shooting 426 izumi is if -2's memories were transplanted in -1/nurse morimura.
Oh hey this is during the final battle. Chihiro claims that gouto was in love with nurse morimura which is why he claimed she was mindhacked by 426 and why he restored chihiro's repressed memory, which he is unable to deny. Wow thats the 3rd parent child pair of 2188. Gouto and ogata, takamiya and minami, and morimura and okino. Is this entire story just renya playing detective and bullying a 4 yar old? Renya claims that 2188 prof morimura is trying to eliminate the clones and make sure the current world doesnt survive. Yeah was expecting clones. So the dna sampling of the 15 colony survivors must have happened after megumi's father brought her there and before sekigahara assassinates morimura on gouto's orders which sabotages lifesupport and leads to a shootout. Wow morimura was right sekigahara took the hit for nothing society's gone what use is money. The probes are carrying the dna of the 15 colony survivors? Theres thousands of probes infinitely replicating and repairing. Aww renya is a special boy his route gets yo be the answers route and the only one taking place during the final battle. Sector 4 mainframe?? Chihiro is shifting 1.2 mil ppl to 2025 but uh 2025 is a hellscape overridden with kaiju its not thaaat much safer. Also love how gouto isnt even the main character of his own route, this is chihiros story and he's just there.
Ogata kengo was morimura's backer who helped leak prototype nanomachines onto the blackmarket which started the nanomachine infections that wiped out humanity. 2188 gouto seems to imply this was done purposefully to force project arc as humanity's only chance at survival because project arc would be ogata's chance at living a second life after he died as an ai. Good good back to this renya says chihiro is trying to eliminate them, she never intended for this world to survive which is really interesting given how she (2188 chihiro) was the reason they (project arc) existed in the first place. Then there's how nurse morimura was the one backing operation aegis while prof baby chihiro is trying to prevent is and the severing of universal control so the 2 morimuras are directly opposed. I think at this point morimura chihiro is the main character given how some iteration of her is always the main plot driver. Prof chihiro claims she can rid the system of the d-code which calls the kaiju meaning operation aegis isn't necessary. What is space colonization but an alien invasion i think its a pretty accurate take and one not often seen in scifi. The game has been playing with the "what if we're the alien invaders" idea for a while now, in natsuno and others stories i rather like it. So chihiro stopped the command to produce more kaiju but cant do much about the commands already sent by d-code and the kaiju already made. Renya hypothesizes that chihiro's goal is to restart the world without d-code by having kaiju destroy all 5 sector mainframes. Operation aegis is an obstacle to this as sealing the terminals severs them from the mainframe and prevents further loops. Hmm ida also wanted to reset too bad he's dead. Renya says 2188 gouto chased 2188 prof morimura out of newman because she was a financial liability to shikishima that wanted to buy newman. Then morimura became the lead on project arc under chairman ogata kengo who was the father of nenji. Morimura created ai kengo after his death and current renya accuses her of letting the ai control her, that her whole plan was to resurrect herself and kengo and have them take over clones of chihiro and nenji once 18 (this would be impossible with the d-code in the loops so far as the attacks and resets happen at year/age 16). And then chihiro pulls a gun on renya for knowing too much what a cliffhanger to leave off on. Nurse morimura didnt recognize chihiro either so she never even tried to talk to her other clone or convince her to abandon operation aegis. Nurse morimura said that the facility and universal control were at it's limit and breaking down this doesnt seem to be a concern for little prof chihiro though so i wonder who is lying and who isnt and how much information do they both have?
Takatoshi: so i got killed by the android because i stood there like an idiot and like cant you detach the battery or something grab a screwdriver, or a crowbar. I feel unsafe. Actually, why not just close the doors. ... Why havent you gotten okino to teach you how to shift by now? Actually in the final battle why isnt okino plotting his own sentinel since he's compatible or is he an ai without a body now. Keitaro looks like a middle schooler lol 1 npc saying it i can write off but uts been like 2 or 3 now they all describe him as looking like a middle schooler. small king. That okino confession was genuine wasnt wow takatoshi messed up. Miurabot! Universal control isolated him, what does that mean. So okino is using sentinel 12 as like a link to sneak past universal control. Aaaaaaaarrrgghgdxcv it was the matrix! the 80% unknown processing power in the nanomachines was going towards creating a perceived reality. Its all a computer simulation! I guessed that too and tried to gaslight myself because i didn't like it. Wonder if that means the command ship is also a part of the simulated world wait but nurse morimura (?) said it was real. Actual matrix the growth pods are the real world and the simulated world is because the interlocutors are feeding them sensory data. The sectors have been reset who knows how many times by now, what happens to the bodies in the growth pods? Are they killed each loop?
Renya: final remembrance. Wannabe detective. Oh so thats the explanation for why 2188 izumi set up the memory transfer stuff. Izumi and morimura were set up in sector 1. The 2188 izumi and morimura were intimate as renya puts it. The bet! Finally! In exchange for not letting "aegis seal everything off" and leaving the terminals alone (which did they i thought in the final battle the terminals were being sealed?), chihiro wont sabotage the fight, Renya asks chihiro for the chance to prove themselves worthy of the struggles beyond the final phase. Oh i see all this time i thought the final battle was to enact operation aegis but they arent going for that, between 426 and and morimura getting rid of d-sode, and renya a 3rd option was created. Ida and prof morimura wanted to reset the world, nurse morimura wanted to give up on the sentinels and go with operation aegis. But the 3rd option created was to fight off the kaiju with the sentinels who could now upgrade and only close off the terminals necessary for defense but leave 1 open. I missed it what was the inaba miyuki plan? She was doing... Something. Hmm so in the end what saves them isnt any sort of plan but an emotional appeal.
3 terminals remaining, only 2 can be closed but 5 battles hmm. I wish the destruction scenes were included in the archive. Mainframe processing... "Big world saving program" What does that mean? Mystery files! What okino had miura spread around was the fix for sentinels infected with dd426 so they could be used again, the forced activation was probably a side effect then.
In attempt to modify the rules of the world 426 made dd-426 which can sever the d-code. Ida had shinonome infect the sentinels and pilots leading the the loss of 2064 and sentinels becoming inoperable. Between the loss of the sentinels and that the facility is breaking down along with sector 0 nurse morimura goes all in on operation aegis. 426 meanwhile finds an actual way to upgrade the sentinels and has megumi shoot the code patch with a "magic gun". Okino meanwhile has fixed the sentinels and has miura spreading the fix. Then baby prof morimura regains her memories kills nurse morimura and stops the d-code thus shutting down the signal for making more deimos and sending them to 1984.
Destruction: im going back to normal mode could stay on intense but really just want the story and dont feel like repeating battles for the s rank. instead of saying chos of time and ruined city or whatever cryptic nonsense they could have just said everyone will disappear permanently and you'll be stuck living the rest of your lives in a dead city.. ida would have made a much more compelling argument this way. Ah so miyuki's whole plan is break d-code interfering with universal control and have it recognize that the deimos are a problem that needs fixing. She's going to reopen the terminals aegis severed. So the battle and closing terminals was to buy time for the mainframe reformatting. Oh no the final boss is the timer, I've been playing aggressively this whole time (enemy cant hurt you if they're dead, which means i have no experience with defense. Life support processing at 75% what the hell are you doing?? Emergency escape preparations complete? Universal control suspended?? Interlocitor link disconnected!?! Did they break out of the matrix??
they broke out of the matrix! 426 izumi's plan was to get the mainframe to realize what was going on and start emergency escape procedures. Which explains how this juro knows but when did ei find out? This does all bring the interesting question of why bother fighting. Most of the 13 were fighting to protect the city and its people so what does it mean if none of it was real, or was it real even if they are data they were as human as the 15 and after all AI's can be uploaded onto people (probably? Assuming the sim science also works outside the sim). Or take nurse morimura who was wiling to abandon the city and 1.2 million ai people just to preserve the 15. That explains the 20 year lifespans of the sectors they're only suppose to exist for 20 years because the compatible are made aware of reality in year 18 and then receive 2 years training to live in the outside world. The emergency escape means this is happening 4 years early. Ok they are carrying more than the 15's dna because you need a lot more than that for a stable population. I wonder what made the 15 special, like yes they're clones of the last 15 survivors but everyone is going to be a clone why were they grown in the pods and not the other humans?
... you two have kids... *sigh* everyone gets paired up. Bj! In the end what were the logs he deleted himself for? there's a lot of stuff that ended up being important, since it was the 2188 logs i guess it was the truth of everything would have been nice to have that integrated into the final battle like actually see them use that info. Why is that the 2 most volatile couples have kids. So the tamao that they got out was the 1944 one. Tamao really was a dropped plot thread. also yeah tsukasa nonbinary af

Good Omens Season 2 Reaction
Spoilers, obviously, so under the cut.
I accidentally saw enough of a gif here on Tumblr that I knew there would be a kiss. I accidentally saw a post here on Tumblr about "watching David Tennant unable to be with the blond he's in love with hits as hard at 26 as it did at 16" so I suspected something sad would happen.
I was not expecting THAT.
I didn't expect the kiss to be angry, and even when Crowley suddenly moved across the room and I thought "here it comes" I didn't expect it to be...devastated. He doesn't think that's going to make a difference. He doesn't think it's going to change things, not really. He just needs to do it, needs to make damn sure that Aziraphale gets it and he's done everything he can, but it's a parting shot, not a real argument.
And he's right. It doesn't change anything.
The narrative doesn't go the easy route of "Oh, what--wait--well that changes everything." Aziraphale's reaction is the worst. I wanted to smack him, and I generally like Aziraphale. I see myself in Aziraphale. I'm bookish and compulsively honest and want to see the best in people. But YE GODS, that is--NO!
It's better. It's more messy, how people really are. But it's so much worse to witness than a neat, fun, happy ending.
Maybe if he had more time, Aziraphale would process and fuss and dither and make up his mind and do something, but Metatron hustled him along (intentionally? is there a plot? don't really care right now) and he went. Even when he saw Crowley waiting by the car--"Yes, yes, I stormed out, but I haven't stormed out, I'm right here, I haven't abandoned you"--he goes.
At this point I actually put my head in my hands.
I thought maybe there would be some kind of plea deal with Heaven and Hell to avert the war where they both have to never see each other again. I didn't expect that they'd be separated because of someone's choice.
Again: it's a better, more human story. It's a worse, more human situation.
Aziraphale still doesn't fundamentally get something about Crowley.
The "I can change things if I'm in charge" argument, yeah, I can see that being a very strong, pardon the word, temptation. But that wasn't even what he was most excited about: he wanted him and Crowley to be angels and happy together. He's missing the point for Crowley because of what he wants. Crowley isn't a violent creep like most of the demons, sure, but he's still a demon. He doesn't like Hell, but he doesn't like Heaven either. He doesn't want to go back. He might have "sauntered vaguely downwards," but he was kicked out of Heaven for asking questions and he doesn't like that way of running things. Heaven sends angels to kill kids. Heaven was perfectly ready to destroy Aziraphale. He's not OK with that.
Azariphale wants to be with the good guys, wants to see the good in everyone, and wants to reconcile that good in everyone with the stricter, decontextualized good that Heaven has in mind. Crowley doesn't define "good" or "bad" as "in line with Heaven/Hell" much anymore, I don't think, and I don't think Aziraphale really understands that, even after millennia.
Also: David Tennant is a remarkably good actor. I enjoyed him a lot in Doctor Who, but the Tenth Doctor is on a continuum between goofy and all-powerful angsty adolescent most of the time. Crowley, whatever else he may be (and he's a lot of other things), is a grown-up. He's more nuanced. That comes through so well even in wordless scenes where he's wearing big dark sunglasses. Wow.
Unrelated also: I so appreciate the line "Can we throw books at them? Not the fiction, obviously, but the encyclopedias? It's all online anyway these days." I am deeply gratified that, in a life-or-death situation, someone had the initial reaction of "naturally we can't damage the books, especially the stories."

"Thought it was my night to patrol." Said Steve, after being startled at the sight of Nancy Wheeler of all people in the dimly lit park.
"It is I just... Can we talk?"
Steve didn't say anything, he simply turned the torch off. And took a seat on the swing beside her.
"I'm sorry."
She blinked at him, not expecting that. "I'm sorry for the graffiti, for breaking By-Jonathan's camera for you when you didn't ask for that."
Steve's hands were shaking making the chains on the swing shake but he carried on.
"I'm sorry... For Barb."
Nancy's hand took his, eyes wide and shook her head. "Look at me, Steve. Please."
Steve looked up at her, letting her take his hand in hers. "The graffiti really upset me, but I also know you cleaned it all up. The camera, wasn't your call but I know why you did it. You were just looking out for me, and Jonathan really likes the new one."
She smiled at that and Steve found himself smiling too.
Despite attempting to be subtle, Jonathan had known instantly who the camera was from.
Once he accepted it, the older Byers he had been in his little nerd zone talking a mile a minute about it and the pictures he'd taken on it.
It wasn't annoying but oh so endearing.
"And I'm sorry, I ever let you think whst happened to Barb was your fault."
Steve shook his head but Nancy wouldn't have it. "No, we had no idea. And if your going to blame yourself for what happened, than I'm at fault too."
"Nancy it wasn't your fault."
"Than neither of us are."
A weight neither of them had noticed lifted itself off their shoulders.
"And I'm so sorry for how I ended things." Said Nancy, looking at Steve, really looking at him and he felt tears well up in his eyes.
"I forgive you." Said Steve, not knowing what else to say. He squeezed her hand "but you were right Nancy we're... Not good together."
It hurt to admit but less than Steve thought it would.
"It wasn't bullshit, I care about you. I care about you so much I don't know what to do with it sometimes. But I don't know if I loved you, at least not like you loved me but I do care about you Steve."
And he believed her.
"You pointed a gun at me to get me to run from a monster. I would hope so."
Nancy snorted, loudly and he smiled.
"Not my finest moment but it was quite persuasive. But... I'm glad you came back." Steve shook his head fondly "I couldn't leave... I tried but I couldn't... Guess your stuck with me."
"I can live with that."
"Wow Nancy tell me how you really feel."
They fell into their old banter almost immediately, it felt right.
"I missed you."
"I missed you too... Where do we go from here?"
Steve untangled his hand from hers, holding out for a handshake. "We could start over, hi I'm Steve Harrington. I'm a pretty good babysitter to several munchies and have a bat full of nails I hit monsters with."
Nancy smiled, taking his hand and shaking it. "Nice to meet you Steve Harrington. I'm Nancy Wheeler, I'm an aspiring journalist and shoot monsters for a living."
"Friends?"
"The best."
They shook hands, barely able to keep their faces straight before laughing.
"God how did anyone think we were cool." Wondered Steve, Nancy snorted "no idea.... Are you okay?"
With this?
Steve nodded "I am, will I require a big ol tub of USS Butterscotch and reruns of the goonies for an afternoon? Yeah but I'll be okay."
Nancy nodded.
"Can I still call you Nance... Is that off the table?"
She shook her head with a smile "no, I like it it's a nice nickname. Though" she gained a mishevious grin "I'll have to figure one for you."
Steve smirked, folding his arms, "do your worst Nance."
She copied his stance and smirked, "okay Evie."
Steve blinked before smiling at the unsure look on her face "I guess it'll do."
A few seconds passed "but, I gotta ask... Do you like Jonathan? I'm not mad or anything, just curious." Asked Steve.
Nancy looked thoughtful "I think I like him like I like you. Though..." She looked down nervously. "I... I think I liked Barb... And not like a friend."
Steve felt his heart break, and not a second later he moved over to hug her tightly.
"I've never said that out loud before..."
Steve squeezed her shoulder "I'm so sorry Nance..." He couldn't imagine losing someone like that.
"Your not... Your not mad, or upset or... Disgusted?" She asked, tears in her eyes. Steve shook his head rapidly.
He thought back to what he said during the fight...
"I could never hate you Nance. You, Nancy Wheeler are amazing. And anyone says anything otherwise is a fucking liar..." His own eyes welled up with tears.
"And I was wrong, I was a horrible person and I am going to be better, I'm changing. And I know, guy, girl , whoever gets to be loved by you is the luckiest person in the world."
Nancy, who had started crying during his speech hiccuped and hugged him close.
"Thank you."
Steve rubbed her back, letting her let it all out and know she was safe, know she was loved.
Eventually Nancy pulled away but she looked lighter than she had been.
"Hey... Nance?"
"Yeah?" She asked, quietly and wiping her tears.
"I think... I think I like Jonathan the way I like you.... Is that okay?"
Nancy blinked in suprise before nodding and pulling him into a hug.
"More than okay... But if he hurts you I will get my guns on him."
"Nancy!" Yelled Steve before falling into giggles with her.
"And Nance?"
"Yeah Evie?"
"You think Barbs in the stars?" Steve rubbed his head, sheepish. "Like, that story you like where the hunter dude, Orion? Gets turned into a constellation?"
Nancy smiled, "You know? I think she might be."
Both of them went and finished patrol before looking at the stars, trying to figure out which constellation would be Barb.

👻🕯Selfshiptober- Day 6: Haunted
October 6, Day 6, Haunted
"No."
"Whattttt!? Come on babe. Honey-" Gonzo exclaimed. They attempted to lean on their wife. "My catapult, my dynamite, my raging bull-"
"I don't like haunted houses Gonzo!" She sighed, rather playfully. Hitting the table she was sitting at in the process.
"You know what happened last time. You saw a ghost version of me and you had to confront your fears of being alone it was a whole movie special."
He groaned, leaning against the table. "Liciiiiii... this one different! This one isn't free and I gotta pay for it and also there isnt a suspicious magican with a pet fish."
She stared them down. He blinked, holding his hands. "Fine. When is it."
"Tonight! Get your coat on!"
God this man was a nuisance.
She got changed, got her coat, and met him outside. Where he was starting the car and heating it up. A new button up. Pumpkins all over it, along with a red skirt and dark red boots.
"Nice outfit," she winked, grabbing the driver side door and pulling it open.
"Not to bad yourself," he replied, almost more charming than she had before.
Thr two got into the car, drove an hour to a haunted house.... and waited in a very long parking line.
The guy who gave them a ticket for their car and took their parking money recognized them immediately too.
"Oh my god.... the great gonzo!"
They leaned over their wife to pose. "Yup that's me! Me n my lovely daredevil are gonna visit this place! Give it a try!"
"Wow! Well I hope you have fun!!"
The girl drove off before he could even start rambling. Of course a usual, 'wow what a nice guy' and little bits were said.
The...
The haunted house was something!!!
The entire them it was. Yeah it happened and both of them left unsatisfied.
Money lost to a mediocre house that didn't even scare them.
"You would think they'd put a bit more effort in!!!!" Gonzo exclaimed leaving the place.
"I'm not gonna lie babe, I had like 0 confidence the moment we pulled into a crammed parking lot."
They huffed, crossing their arms. "I guess...."
She put a hand to their shoulder. "At least you didn't almost die!"
"That's where the fun is!!! You know I love a good thrill and I wasn't expecting DEATH from this place, but I was expecting at least a jump!"
"Well how about we JUMP to Kermits place and play halloween just dance with the gang. Invite them over."
"Monster mash?" He raised an eyebrow.
She gave him a big ol kiss. "And time warp."
"Woo. Boy. Sold," he smirked up at her.

Still With You (Chapter 3)
It’s been three years since you last saw Jungkook. The last time you did, you were part of Big Hit’s camera crew, and you left when things were getting too intense as your relationship with Jungkook blossomed. Now you are both reunited as In The Soop Season 1 is being filmed. What will the reunion be like?
Angst | Idol AU | ITS1 | Jungkook x Reader
Chapter 1 | Chapter 2 |
Tumblr media
You used to be made to feel guilty for loving the rain. When you were younger, it was your mom who was constantly reprimanding you about the perils of being out in the rain.
"You will catch a cold!"
"You are going to be sick!"
But there was a joy to hearing and being in the rain that you can never truly explain. The consistent sound of the rain somehow drowned out your worries in a way nothing else could. At least temporarily.
Your encounter with Jungkook earlier disturbed you more than you thought it would have. You're starting to think that it was a big mistake to take on this job, even though you desperately needed it at the time. Is it worth all the heartache you will go through just being here with him?
You close your eyes and attempt to drown out your worries by focusing on the sound of the rain hitting on your raincoat. The river is pitch black as you stare out towards it. The sun had set more than an hour ago, and you can hear in the distance as the night shift team is busy setting up equipment for the boys to cook under the tarpaulin.
"Yah, Yoongi-ah!" said a loud booming voice, when a sudden hand came crashing down on your right shoulder. You yelped in surprise and turned around to meet the eyes of a horrified-looking Seokjin wearing his raincoat. His face looked equal parts surprised and scared.
"Oh my God, it's you! Did I enter a time machine? I honestly thought you were Yoongi with your dark raincoat and height sitting out in the rain!"
You resist the urge to roll your eyes at him. Over the years when you used to spend hours with the boys, you have gotten used to Seokjin's dramatics. It always made good content when you were recording them though, so you've learned not only to be accustomed to it but to expect it too.
"Hello Seokjin oppa. How have you been? You seem to have gathered a few wrinkles I see." you grinned, unable to resist the jab.
"Yah! First time I see that face in three freaking years, and the first thing you do is make fun of this handsome face? How dare you! I have you know that this face is the main reason why we are even shooting this show right now!"
You can't help but grin back at him. You missed this. The natural camaraderie you used to have with the guys. "Of course it is. What else would the fans be laughing at if it wasn't for you?"
You both look at each other grinning. His eyes soften as his mouth begins to settle into his usual pout. "Wow, you're here. Part of the crew I assume? How are you?" He didn't say it, but you understood the subtext. Are you ok? Really ok? his eyes seem to say as they bore into you.
"I'm fine. Hyun PD-nim asked me to be on this project, and I was between jobs..." you trailed off, not wanting to get into the sordid details of how incredibly desperate you were when you agreed to take on this job.
"Ah...ok, ok." Seokjin looks out into the water as the drizzle continues. You were looking at him, convinced he has more that he wants to say, but isn't saying for whatever reason. You quietly observe him as he slips his hands into the pocket of his coat, and turns to you.
"I take it that you've seen him? I mean I'm sure you've seen him, but you've talked to him?"
You didn't need to clarify who he was referring to. All of the guys knew about both of you. "Yeah, just briefly." You didn't elaborate, and he didn't pursue it further. Both of you looking out into the water. The silence grows as the rain seems to falter.
"You know, he wasn't the same after you left." You exhale an exasperated sigh as you turn to look at him. His tongue pokes at the insides of his cheek as he gazes at you with soft eyes. "I know, I know, technically, it wasn't you leaving wasn't it?"
Your head tilts as you contemplate just how much Seokjin knew of what went down those years ago. "I did leave oppa," you said softly and sadly into the night air. "It just wasn't all up to me."
He nods in understanding. "Was it the company? Because it wouldn't make sense why you'd be here then," he says frowning, trying to make sense.
"No, it wasn't the company. It was Jungkook's decision. He..well, he prioritised himself first. And looking back now, I don't blame him for it,"
Seokjin nods again, as he looks over at you. "Like I said, he was never the same. Whatever happened, I think it altered part of his DNA or something. I'm not saying this to make you feel bad or anything, but he became more...let's say reserved? Like he was protecting himself. I mean, with us, he was more or less still the same, but it was also different at the same time. I can't quite put my finger on it."
Your heart beats a little faster imagining Jungkook in the years after both you of you broke up. In the rare moments when you let your mind wander to think about him (although to be honest, it was rather often) you'd hope that he was happy with his decision. You avoided his videos or content whenever possible. Still, living in Seoul, it was impossible not to run into his face at the nearby convenience store, and he had always looked happy in his pictures, that you deluded yourself into thinking that he was doing fine.
Hearing the confirmation from Seokjin that he wasn't was disheartening, to say the least, as it shattered your fantasy of him being happy. Forcing these feelings aside, you gave him a wan smile.
You gave him a wan smile. "Maybe we both just grew up a bit."

Part 2 oh my god, I can't believe we get to be blessed with part 2!! You cannot imagine how I practically absorbed this into my very being. Thank you so, so much for writing a part 2.
The very beginning shocked me to my core, because we get a child death. I haven't seen that in fics, but I like how you start it out at this point. Getting to see the Reader (which, I cannot relate to at all, except for the fact that the Reader loves Jason) at this formative age, to see how they behaved is such a smart move. Especially with the Reader's background as an (I assume) orphan. NOT TO MENTION THAT JASON KNEW OF THE READER WHEN THEY WERE KIDS?? HELLO???
That shook me to my very core. I was not expecting that, or that they knew each other. Yeah, I can already see why the Reader, who I'm naming R from now on, may be with Jason. He protected them from a really awful kid and her friends, made it easier for them sometimes. (Not all the time, because R says Lucy was always worse when Jason wasn't around.)
R (correct me if I'm wrong here, I may be reading this wrong) having their father get held up on an embezzlement charge and then moving to Crime Alley.....interesting. R is taken out of the glitz and glamor of the Diamond District, of privilege and comfort. And then Jason "dies" at 11, taken out of the Alley, now in the very privilege R had been forced to leave behind. (Side bar here, but there is something wrong with R. Yes, technically, a version of Jason had gone away when Jason became the second Robin, the second son of Bruce Wayne. But he didn't die. We know that, of course. Too bad R doesn't. Then again, we don't see if R tries to reach out to Jason, if they make contact with one another at all.)
"The red rimmed eyes of Bruce Wayne on the staticky screen of the common room television confirms what you already know: Bruce Wayne is the Bat and he has killed your friend twice over."
You have no idea how much I wanted to scream from that. Sincerely. Especially when you basically wrote that Jason's second death is the reason R is taking on the criminals that Batman won't take out permanently. They want a permanent solution, they always have, no matter if it was for dealing with Lucy Nesbit or for dealing with the man who would take more than his fill of the city.
Oh wow, R is a court stenographer?? I love that choice. Oh, they bought the house with the purple windowsills. And yet, it isn't enough. Fixing the house, removing the old flooring is not enough. The stability of the government pension is not enough. It should be, as you wrote. But it isn't.
I think that detail about the asshole who hits on R at the bar was so well written. It gave me the heebie jeebies, and I hated the guy as soon as you described him.
R is...definitely a serial killer, though no one else knows it. The issue is that we have to wonder about the ethics behind all of these killings. Because there are two sides to this.
In many ways R is right to hate Batman. Their best friend left them behind after being adopted by Bruce Wayne, and dies as Batman's sidekick. Maybe things would be better if R didn't figure out Bruce and Batman are the same man. But they did. That brings us to the issue of Batman being a reason as to how crime has changed in Gotham. As far as we know, in this story at least, people like Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze did not exist when Bruce was a kid. It was just typical robbers and muggers. But now, people with clown gimmicks, people who spray a toxin that makes you witness your worst fears, people who can freeze the entire city or butcher you while wearing a pig mask run amuck. Like moths to a flame, Batman attracts some weird people, has romantic relations with them, and allows children that he adopts in his civilian alter ego to fight by his side against them. He brings a lot of harm to the city, he is a motivator for who R becomes by the time part 1 occurs.
But he also brings a lot of safety. Some of these villains would still be in Gotham, with or without a Batman. And that would leave them to the government. That's not to mention that some of these villains would also be worse without the intervention of Batman. It would also, possibly, leave Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, and Tim Drake as orphans, since Bruce being Batman in no way interferes with each kid's parent's death. These kids would end up in the foster system, but even that isn't safe, we know that based on real life and with what R dealt with. Sure, Jason may not die as Robin, but he could die even earlier because of what goes on in the Alley. And who knows how R would turn out in this hypothetical.
Wow this really got away from me. Whoops.
Anyway. R is already losing their footing, and by that I mean, they're killing people who don't even pop up with a record. They're losing their motivation a bit, and it's interesting to see. What's more interesting is seeing the Red Hood come back to R. We don't know if it's on purpose, not yet. But we know that even though Jason wore his domino mask under his helmet, R knows their boy.
I cannot get over the line, "He kisses you, and the axis of your world shifts." Oh my god. How can you get away with writing that. It shouldn't be allowed, now I'll hope that I get to experience a kiss that shifts the axis of my world. There are lines that stick with you forever, and this is one of them.
Seeing R and Jason together is saccharine in the best way possible. I mean, Jason is able to show every part of himself with R, he can let "The cracks show through. Violence drips out of his every pore despite his hand wringing to you late at night. You are his confessor and absolve him of any sin." (Another fantastic line, oh my gosh.)
The way you've written their dynamic is balls to the walls insane, in the best way possible. I can't imagine hearing Jason's story again and not feeling the way R does. But at the same time, R is manipulating this poor boy. (Good riddance to the Joker. And the foster father. God. Why is Gotham a spawning point for trashy people.)
Batman coming after them was expected, yet somehow I'm in shock about everything?? Which is so funny, in terms of what I'm feeling, idk. Anyway. Bruce fights his son, R gets handcuffed. I'm cheering for Bruce, though, because while R and Jason are cute together, R has a high body count (not like Jason doesn't) for a civilian. They've manipulated Jason, but they love him in their own way.
You truly hit it out of the park with this. Your fics are always a treasure to behold, but I love the way this feels, the way it reads. Thank you for writing a part 2. You definitely didn't need to write it (unless you wanted to), but you did and I'm forever grateful we got a part 2 and an in-depth look at the relationship you teased in part 1. Have a good week!! (Side note but I always write these little asks in my phone's notes app, and this took 9 pages for the note. Oh my gosh.)
I’m getting so emotional that you wrote a 9-page love letter about a fic that I wrote.
From the beginning, I knew I wanted to start with the death of Lucy Nesbit because it communicates to the audience that really anything is on the table. It seems like I just can’t resist writing friends-to-lovers with Jason, so they are childhood friends, and in a way this sparks Reader’s possessiveness of him. I meant for Lucy to be the ex-Diamond District daughter, so that Reader’s later hatred for rich Gothamites getting away with terrible things makes sense.
The ethics of crime fighting in Gotham are so complicated, so with Reader I wanted to explore one way a civilian who has very little power might react. What does she do? Reader becomes a serial killer! She’s exactly the type of criminal Jason would stop permanently, and she knows this. Before Jason reappears, she is starting to slip and going after people for the power killing makes her feel; it becomes less about making the world better and more about making her feel better. With Jason, her (admittedly hazy) sense of right and wrong comes back into focus. Loving each other makes them both worse while making them both feel better, and isn’t that a helluva drug? When I was writing it, I didn’t intentionally make parallels between Reader and Bruce but now you’ve pointed them out I’m going to pretend that was my intention all along 😅. For Reader, manipulation is her way of loving Jason but that’s also the same trait in Bruce that she hates.
Thank you for taking the time to share such long, detailed comments. I love hearing your thoughts and reactions, they’re such a treat for me.

Sunday, October 8th: Breaking Patterns
Today I ran 5 K. I woke up, brushed my teeth, put on sunscreen and ran 5000 meters on the sand.
I called my sister and we had a great conversation.
I put on a chic dress and went to my friend's roaring 20s party.
I got hit on. A lot.
I wrote something beautiful the way I always do when I drink.
Then I spiraled and felt bad about myself because I'm single and you know what? I realized it was my fault.
But not in the way I always make it my fault.
It's not because I'm not hot. I am. Or kind. I am. Or funny. Fuck yeah I am. Or smart. I am. Or well read. I am. Or social. I am. Or all of the million things I try and pin love to like a needle through a dead butterfly.
I spiraled and instead of staying there in a whirlwind of self pity, I got up and did some dishes, showered, drank some water, and remembered that I'm the type who would be miserable either way.
Relationship. Single. Let's be real. Some were born to sing the blues.
I ran a 5 K. Me. I RAN A 5 K. I used to want to die all the time because I hadn't gotten all the things I thought I had to. I curled up in a ball and wanted to die.
I ran a 5 K alone. Why? Because I believed in myself. You know who else did? Nate, Nathan, Leah, Hannah, Makenna, Lauren, Kiera, Maddy, Natalie and Eric. I love myself. I am loved. Fuck the spiral. FUCK THAT FUCKING SPIRAL.
So I did some dishes at 4 am. I don't need to be perfect. I just need to break this cycle, this never-ending thought loop that tries to take everything positive I do away from me because I don't have everything I want right at this moment.
I have control. I have always had control. I just gave it away because I thought love meant passively waiting for someone to choose me.
Seriously. That's why I've always hated myself.
That's why I've always been so fucking cruel to myself.
Instead of making my world more beautiful, I told myself I wasn't beautiful. I wanted a man to come along and validate me forever. (I still do, god that sounds good.)
But the lesson I needed to learn was that I'm enough all on my own. I've always needed to learn it. Painfully, slowly, like chemo dripping in to my blood, I have had to learn this lesson.
I'm enough. Chosen or un-chosen. As long as I wake up every day and choose to live I can make progress and struggle and be kind of an idiot and still be worthy of my own love.
I keep fighting against that lesson and life keeps teaching it to me. God. Wow.
I don't have everything I want right now. That's okay.
Oh my god. Of course, that's okay.
I never got all of the things I wanted that I felt like other people had. But of course, they didn't because no person exists that that's true.
Holy shit. I mean I know this.
But I also really have never known this.
Holy shit.
Nobody has everything they want.
No, really.
Nobody has everything they want.
And that's so fucking normal and I'm so fucking human and there's nothing wrong with me.
Oh my god. Oh my fucking god.
I mean I'm crazy. But like there's nothing inherently wrong with me. There's nothing actually fucked up and dead inside of me that means I can't pursue the things I love and want. There's actually nothing stopping me.
My big curse is that I currently don't have everything I want.
BECAUSE NO ONE DOES YOU STUPID BITCH.
OH MY GOD HOW HAVE I BEEN THIS DUMB MY WHOLE LIFE? HOW HAVE I BEEN THIS TORTURED OVER SOMETHING SO NORMAL? WHY WAS I SO ANXIETY-RIDDEN OVER THIS??
?????
I don't currently have everything I want.
because no one does and life is weird but I'm making healthier choices.
Something so sad and un-face-able inside of me seems so normal. I'm 28 and bad at romantic relationships. I ignore men who like me and fixate on men who reject me. Because that's what people do. I think I want love but I'm actually afraid of commitment.
Because I'm emotionally immature and have dreamy expectations. Who gives a shit?! That doesn't make me a monster. Oh my god, how has it always been this obvious, and why have I always thought it was the worst thing in the world?
I'm going to be fucking fine, aren't I? Seriously, I need to hold on to this clarity.
Who would you be if you didn't believe something was wrong with you?

Okay, that's great to hear that the reviews are better. And those people that were complaining about the show still watched it, so the views count either way, which is what matters.
Also I promise to watch episode five! I was doing chores all day yesterday and was so tired but I will catch up haha.
But about The Bear: people were like, I don't get why the money was in the cans? How did they get the money in there? Where did it come from?
I was just like, obviously Mikey found a way to put thr money in there for Carmy? The money he borrowed from Cicero is that same money. Like, what's not making sense? If he had so many debts, wasn't paying anything, and then Carmy finds the exact amount he borrowed, how can you not connect those dots? And then the note he left for Carmy? He had been planning to leave The Beef to him. The way it went about was tragic and messy, but he always believed in Carmy. How did that not come across?
And then everyone was saying how only Marcus and Sydney were at fault for what happened when Carmy blew up about the orders. I agree they made mistakes, but it seemed like people REALLY wanted to shit on Marcus and Sydney and let Carmy have a pass and I was like 🤔🤔🤔🤔 Sydney messed up, and she immediately was trying to fix it. Carmy was rude and abusive to her and to Marcus. And people were saying that it eas wrong they didn't apologize. For what? If I make a mistake and you hit me because of it, is it my responsibility to say sorry for the mistake when that is your reaction? He is their boss. When you abuse your power like that, why do you deserve an apology? You are the one in charge and you stepped out of line. It is your job to correct the people you are in charge of, not abuse them.
It also annoyed me that so many people were like, Sydney is Carmy's mentee, when time and time again, they made it clear that she was his equal, that she handled things without Carmy even being there, and at times was smarter and more capable than he was. They also would say that she intentionally stabbed Ritchie when HE was the one walking backwards in the kitchen and didn't say anything or watch where he was going. They refused to admit that it was an accident just because she didn't like him.and ignored the fact that he harrased her and disrespected her the whole time. And if it wasn't an accident, and she did it because he acted that way towards her, then obviously they agree that he was an asshole the whole time! And yet, because he got hurt, she was the one at fault.
It was just a lot of people, men particularly, veiwing themselves in Carmy and Ritchie and not seeing Marcus and Sydney as real characters or people with flaws and giving some people leeway and not others. But what else can I expect from people on Reddit?
No rush at all! I probably won't have time to watch the next eps soon anyway because I've got a bunch of things on the next two days. God, I probably should watch GoL on the streaming service to get it more official views 😅
Oh wow people just love to not put in a little more thought about pretty straightforward plotlines, lmao. That note and ending had me so 🥹🥹
I think Sydney's so fucking great!!! She holds her own soo many times and brings her own knowledge and experience to the table time and time again and Carmy definitely knows and acknowledges that. Trust Reddit to just see her as a mentee AND to put all the blame on her in that scene where Ritchie gets stabbed. Like, if you look at it in context that entire scene (entire episode, really) everyone was on edge and high tension and not thinking straight so yeah accidents happen. Even if it wasn't an accident it still makes sense within the scene to me (maybe I just like when people get vindictive lmaoo) and the 'blame' is totally equal, it was mayhem in there.
You know, for some insane reason I made a new Reddit account this year after being off it for ages, but maybe I'll keep staying away from the show subreddits 😂
