it always came back to that golden cross.
the token of Christ that he held around his neck, dangling on his chest as if it held the symbolism of carrying the holy figure in his heart.
ha. the irony of that.
you watched intently as the tall boy stood in the background. he didn't blend in, even with the gelled-back hair, white dress shirt and the gentle smile that was plastered all over. they all dressed the same, spoke the same, stood the same, but he somehow, his presence was the only one everyone seemed to focus on.
some could say it was the divine light that chose him, and no one would dare to oppose. how could they? not when the boy did everything to grace his image. an impeccable reputation, something not even the son of Christ himself got before meeting his end, being the towns sole preachers son almost faded in line of all the things jeong yunho was;
hard working student, star athlete, gracious volunteer, cheerful friend, sweet lover and darling son. sinful con-artist.
your father clapped alongside the people, cheering for the homily, he made sure to glance in your direction to ensure his own ego that you were being a good girl and paying attention.
he wanted you to fill those big shoes just as much as he wanted to slap your mother across the face every time she burned the food, leading her to fill another glass of wine and fall asleep alone on the couch, but still waking up earlier than everyone to pretend to be the very good wife that she was graced to be, offered just as young as you were now, by her own father, and the only thing she got in return was a sole golden cross to hang on her neck—a mark, a stamp that stated where and to whom she belonged—not your father, no.
but God.
"make sure to shake the preacher's hand" your father spat, oh-so-loyal to his master, shaking its tail as one of the sheep in the flock.
and you did. the mass had already ended when you approached the altar, under the watchful eye of the big wooden cross as you picked at your cuticles. in line, alongside your mother who held the weight of submission on her back, shrinking almost into a ball, you held your hands together waiting for your turn to thank the old man for doing his job.
"smile" your father told you.
and you did. borrowing one of the various features, doing your best impression of the good daughter, the most innocent sheep.
but the eyes of the predator followed around. to anyone, it would be just a caring gaze, but you knew what came within, the dark pair of eyes making your skin tingle and stomach churn.
you avoided it. you knew the consequences but you did anyway. you knew that later, when the blue darkened into the night and no lights would be seen within a mile radius, he would strip you out of wool, pierce your organs and drink from it as if it were the blood of Christ.
and when the birds went into hiding and dark hues shadowed the figures around, you found yourself shaking your leg frantically, looking between the clock on your nightstand and the closed window with lacy curtains that protected you so foolishly from the outside world.
it was close to time to leave when you heard the wine glass clinking downstairs. you put down the bible, shallow breaths forming inside your chest as you opened the window, jumping onto the dry grass that your father never cared to water. why would he do anything that didn't come with god's name attached to it?
approaching the same chapel you stood in this morning, you saw a faint light of an oil lamp coming from the backside, with it, came the following gaze that haunted you every other day, and you could smell the faint scent of soap in his clothes. not a wrinkle, not a stain, shirt as white as heaven, eyes as dark as sin.
he smiled as you came closer. not his usual one, but the one he reserved for those nightly escapades of yours—and your heart pounded from the knowledge that it was for you. you noticed that he was chomping on an apple, the sweet scent of the fruit adorning your nostrils as you stood idly in front of him. a small light reflected on the small piece of gold that hid on his chest.
with his hand up, he held the viciously red apple in front of your eyes. you didn't eat a lot at dinner because a fight between your parents broke out, and you were already sick from attending mass—ever since you started meeting the boy outside, sundays never felt the same—so the sight of a lustrous, full and juicy fruit did the trick on you.
you reached to grab it, but he retreated his offer.
"nuh-uh" he said. "open up."
and as a good girl, you did, allowing to be fed by the same fingers that found its way into your deepest parts. the same ones that dragged along your skin and touched wherever you claimed to be forbidden by the eyes of the lord. but how could it be so wrong? not when his touch felt that good.
yunho smiled at the sight of you biting into the fruit. you had no idea what he was thinking most of the time, but when he smiled like that, it was real.
"come" he said as he opened the back door, discarding the core on the grass. the evidence of it only being the sweet taste left on your lips, now to linger forevermore.
following him inside, you two reached the same familiar room where you grew up going in and out of. the wooden cabinets surrounding you, full of things that were meaningless without being held at the altar on sunday mornings.
the sacristy was somewhere you spent a lot of time organizing things as a volunteer, helping the altar boys and doing your part as part of the church, being the prideful gem of your community. but would they think so if they knew that your only reason to do it was so you could see more of the golden boy?
you could never lie when someone teased you about being too infatuated with the boy. your cheeks would heat up and heart would pound like crazy, to the point where you always worried if you were on the verge of dying or exploding. you first met him at the church, following him around as if he was your pastor, the one that would lead and save you.
then it was at school, but the meetings would always be brief, since he was always busy with school work or sports. you could never catch him alone, there was always crowds around him wherever he went, and you knew you fell into the category of being another one in his flock, but then he caught you staring that one sunday after mass, while he played the organ and no one was around for once.
"you always stare" he said, his voice velvety and seemingly to be something made by God's hands Himself "but you never say anything. are you scared of me?"
shaking your head, you looked down to your shoes, fingers picking at your cuticles.
you knew he was observant, too. most of the times you stared, he caught you, but he never said anything—that's how thoughtful he was, and that was one of the many things that made your young heart belong to him.
before you could even answer, your father called you from the sacristy, and you left, escaping from those warm, chocolate eyes.
but that was the day when things changed; the day he made you aware that he knew of your hobby of watching, because the next sunday, you caught him sneaking wine from one of those big wooden cabinets.
it was before mass, when you found yourself in the sacristy, opening the door without announcing, not expecting anyone to be there. but then you found the boy leaning by the entrance, drinking from the chalice as he watched you closely, his eyes never leaving you.
it shattered you on the inside. the sharp dress shirt he always wore to mass now held a deep stain by the collar, and everything about him seemed so messy. but what hurt the most was to see his eyes turn dark, something you never expected to see.
and it seemed to exhilarate him, the thought of you being the only one knowing. he knew you watched, and he wanted to give you a show.
on christmas night, when the mass would be held late, you stood behind to help clean up and organize the things from the short play held by the community. it was almost the next day and even the preacher had left, but you were folding the costumes and reassembling the scenery.
it wasn't rare for you to be alone in the church, at some point you even had the keys, but something felt eerie about that night. and then you heard a noise. it was indistinguishable at first, and you thought that someone could have returned and maybe got hurt, so you left the sacristy and went to the main hall.
now the sounds grew louder, and your heart pounded in its cage. it scared you, you thought someone might've gotten hurt, but you kept on going, trying to see where the noises were coming from.
stepping lightly, you heard another moan of what you thought was pain, coming from the confessional, the small door closed, but the sounds coming through.
"h-hello?" you called, no response.
approaching closer, your fingers held the handle and you took a deep breath, opening it slowly.
and you were met with dark eyes, the same ones that corrupted you before, the same ones who disguised themselves all this time, fooling everyone who dared to stare back. the same gaze you longed for, but now dreaded.
yunho leaned against the confessional wall, hair disheveled and the dress shirt half open. he panted, and the air inside felt heavy. moans sung by the heart shaped lips, the same ones you wondered if they were hand painted in heaven, now sounding so shameless, making sounds so sinful as he fisted his cock.
but the way your body reacted, your stomach felt like melting, and your face held too much heat. you didn't know you could sweat from other places, but your undergarments were now drenched. and that's when he grabbed your wrist, leading your hand to fall on top of his, enveloping his warm member into your palms.
you knew you were supposed to feel disgusted. you knew you were supposed to go back to your house, pray and go to sleep, but how could you when your hand was melting into his, and the noises he made when you moved your wrist were so forbidden it tasted good?
his pants became heavier and heavier, and the movements grew faster, then he spurted on your fingers and brought them to his own mouth.
seeing as you didn't move, he pulled your wrist, making your face fall closer to his, and then placed both of your fingers between your mouths, giving them a long lick, tasting his fluids.
"this is because of your staring" he claimed, placing yours and his digits into your mouth, making you jolt in shock. "do you know how hard it is to pretend not to see it?"
you did what you did best; you watched him. both of your fingers now resting on your tongue and the bitterness of his release mixing with your saliva.
"take it. prove it to me" he stared back. "prove that you want me."
it was over for you when you sucked on his skin involuntarily.
after that, he would ravish your body and sing prayers as his tongue tasted the sheen coat of sweat all over you. all week he portrayed the golden boy, the blessed child; but sundays, his mind became possessed by you.
now, back in present, he was holding the same golden chalice, signaling for you to grab the bottle of wine sitting next to you.
"will you open that for me?" he asked, voice coated in velvet that rubbed against your ears.
you took the cork off and he waited for you to serve the chalice, but before you could, he stopped himself, as if he had just gotten a new, better idea. he sat on the cushioned armchair behind the desk, pulling you closer by the hem of your thin camisole, face laying lower than yours, to the point you had to look down.
"pour me a drink, please?" you could've swore you'd seen the small, sheer glimpse of those same warm eyes for a moment. but it had to be just your mind playing tricks on you.
the boy sat under you with his fingertips grazing against your thighs as he opened his mouth, waiting for you to serve him. he knew that no matter what he asked of you, you would do it, no questions asked.
you started pouring the wine into his mouth, watching as the deep, dark liquid pooled onto his tongue as he closed his eyes, his adam's apple bobbing as he swallowed every last drop. mesmerized and lost in his godly features, you tilted the bottle a little more than you should, letting some of the wine drip on his skin, a small, faint line leaving its trace from the corner of his mouth to his neck.
he gave your thigh a small squeeze, and you stopped all motion as his eyes shot open, tongue licking his lower lip to not waste any alcohol.
"c'mon, darling, it's not time to make a mess yet" he laughed, the hearty laugh you grew up replaying inside your mind, giggling with your feet in the air. "clean that up now, will ya?"
you just nodded, turning on your feet to grab a napkin when he stopped you, pulling your legs closer in a quick move, making you fall onto straddling his strong thighs.
"you know what I meant by that" he watched every singular move your irises did closely, keeping track of your thoughts as if he could read them.
biting your lip, you looked at where the wine stained his cheek, and leaning forward, you gave it an experimental small lick. not daring to lean back, knowing that he wouldn't leave you alone with that following eye contact, you went lower, reaching for his neck, the tip of your tongue following the trace of a vein that stood under the fair skin.
the deep rumble of his groan trembled from your tongue to the rest of your body, accommodating itself inside your lower abdomen, a spot of wetness that began to stick to yunho's dress pants.
"I haven't even touched you properly, dear" he whispered into your ear as you kept on licking him clean "and you're already getting wet?"
your breath faltered and, ashamed, you hid your face into the crook of his neck. but he never ran from what he wanted, when he wanted—that's when you felt his long, cold fingers sliding inside your panties, the fingerprints embedded on your folds as he played around with the slick.
"y-yun—" you let out a whimper, your fingernails leaving half-crescent marks onto his shoulder.
"huh, what is it?" he asked, whispers into your ears and engraving his voice into your soul as his fingers pinched your clit, making a squeal leave your lips. "what is it that you want the most?"
you bit into his skin, chills running down your spine and cold sweat forming on your nape, could even be mistaken for a chilly breeze in the middle of that hot summer night.
when he slid a finger inside you, you could swear that your heart almost got stuck into your throat. placing your hand on top of your mouth, you tried to control the noises you were now making in union to the newly-found friction.
you found yourself nipping on your cuticles involuntarily, being too swayed by the waves of pleasure and emotional burst, but he caught it. he always did.
"oh no... you hurt yourself" he grabbed your hand with his free one, scanning it, watching as a small button of blood formed where your teeth bit into, it was a tic, you always picked at your fingers, and making it bleed wasn't news, but he seemed disappointed.
and then he put your fingers into his mouth, and sucked on the blood. eyes not leaving yours as you stared back, brows furrowed, a moan leaving the confines of your lips as you felt the texture of his tongue swirling around your digits.
with his free hand, he kept on moving, fingers in and out, pressing the sweet spot that was reserved for him, and only him. you weren't bounded by marriage, nor you thought you would be too soon, but under the severe gaze of god, you were his and he was yours.
the knot that formed on your stomach grew tighter and tighter while he sucked on your fingers and pressed inside you. the bulge in his pants causing friction when you rolled your hips desperately, using his body for your own selfish needs.
soon, the release came, washing over you as a cozy blanket of pure comfort, and you slumped onto his upper body, being held in arms as a cage, knowing that, even when he was the threat, he was the savior.
"you seem pretty found of this" he noted, and then you came to your senses to see that you were gripping to his golden cross.
leaning back, he unclasped the gold chain, the other hand that was nestled inside you left the warmth, the coldness of the slick on your panties meeting your lower lips and making you shiver slightly.
"I want you to have it" he said, placing the other hand on top of your lips, forcing them open, placing the cross on your tongue, and his wet fingers on top of it, pressing. drool began to form on the corner of your lips as you gazed at him with half lidded eyes. "god... how can you be so beautiful?"
in a quick frenzy, you suddenly found yourself on the top of the altar, legs spread and the weight of the golden cross now falling on your chest. yunho kissed your legs, leaving deep purple marks inside, places where only he could see them. he lost his dress shirt along the way, and his pants were unbuttoned, only a matter of time for him to lower his boxers to reveal the hard cock stuck in its confinements.
from where you laid, you could see the tall boy standing in front of you, and on top of him, as if to peek, was the huge wooden cross. the one last symbol you caught sight of as he entered you, the last view before falling into the depths of insanity.
his big hands sneaked under you, holding your body close to his as he moved in and out, the feeling of his cock rubbing against you making you crazier by the second. the feeling too good to be right, and the small voice inside your head that kept you pure, innocent, now was gone. you had no trace of light anymore, not when you were conjoined; not when your body melted into his.
his groans were prayers and you attended them with moans, the song of angels being made right in that moment, and nothing was holier than the way your heart thumped against his. keeping quiet wasn't an option anymore, and your whimpers soon became screams, the sound of his name echoing over and over between those walls.
you screamed, and drooled, and held onto dear life, his body being the last piece of salvation close to you, and the grasp so desperate you would think your soul was condemned. he kept on thrusting, his member hitting the same spot over and over, and the sound of your hips slapping grew louder.
you weren't you anymore. you never knew what came over your body when he fucked you, but it wasn't something holy. it trembled and shook and moved on its own, every trace of control abandoning your senses, the grasp of reality not being in sight.
"I'll make you mine" he repeated in your ear as a promise, singing it as his own psalm. "you'll be forever bound to me; to my body."
"I am yours" you babbled, not even sure if the words were clear, but he got the message as he kept on thrusting, fingers digging into your skin as his lips sucked on your neck.
and when his dark gaze met yours again, a groan run through his throat, the bundle of pleasure snapping inside you, just as his own did. the seed of his own filled your walls completely, and you smiled satisfied, mind far from your body as you were consumed by the primal urges.
now, with his golden cross wrapped around your neck and his claim slipping between your thighs, he marked you as his.
it was scary, how much you lost yourself when he touched you, scary how good it felt, scary how forbidden it was, scary how he made you feel like never before.
for as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him;
and you feared him the most.

The last thing you ever expected to see at your door was your very own son of Posiden on the verge of unconciousness.
"Percy?! What the hell happened?" You let out a low grunt when he practcally collapses into your arms.
"I didn't know where else to go." He whispers, shuddering.
You huffed, hauling him into your apartment. Luckily your parent was at work, so you didn't have to worry about explaining anything.
You moved him to the couch as gently as you could, finally taking in the full stretch of his injuries.
"Oh for the love of Zeus, Jackson." You mutter, your heart racing, "Just- sit still. I think I have some ambrosia squares in my room."
"'Kay..." Percy mumbles, his hand pressed tightly to his side while his face was twisted into a grimace.
You rushed to your bedroom, digging around in your bags and drawers until you found the little tupperware container that held your emergency ambrosia.
You then moved to the apartments small bathroom and grabbed as many medical supplies as you could carry.
With your arms full, you ran back to the couch, nearly tripping over the rug in your hurry. You haphazardly drop the bandages and other stuff onto the coffee table, handing Percy afew of the ambrosia squares.
You decided to speed up the process by getting Percy a glass of water, but with the state he was in, he'd still need patched up.
"Were you followed by anything?" You asks quietly, lifting his shirt to clean one of the larger cuts the ambrosia couldn't deal with.
"No, I wouldn't have showed up here if I was." Percy says, setting the now empty glass on the table, "Thanks. For helping me."
"Well I'm not just gonna let you bleed out on my foorstep." You grumble, wrapping his chest, "You're an idiot. Ya know that? What were you thinking? You know what, nevermind. You weren't thinking."
"Aw, are you worried?" Percy asks, seemingly amused at how upset you were.
"Of course I'm worried!" You snap, glaring up at him, watching the amusement fade away. God he was so insufferable. Stupid Percy Jackson and his dumb pretty face.
"You could have died, Percy." You say angrily, pushing alittle harder than you mean to on one of his bruises, "But everythings just so funny! Haha I'm Percy Jackson and I don't care if I get eaten by a friggin' monster! Everything's just dandy!" you rant through gritted teeth, stomping over to the trash can to toss out the bloodied cloth you'd used to clean his wounds.
Percy stares at you for a second, before guiltily looking down at his shoes, "Sorry..." He mutters, "I uh.. didn't mean to freak you out."
"Well mission failed, Percy." You say, before taking a deep breath and sitting next to him on your couch, "I just... dammit- your really important to me, okay? If something happened to you-" You cut off your own sentence, crossing your arms.
"You scared the shit outta me.." You whisper, wiping away the building tears with the sleeve of your sweater.
Percy sits silently for a second, then he wraps his arms around your waist, pulling you closer so your pressed flush against his chest.
"I'm sorry." He whispers, his head tucked away in your shoulder, "I'll... be more careful.. just please don't cry..."
You sniffle, wrapping your arms tightly around him, careful not to irritate any bruises that still remain after the ambrosia. You press your face into his hair, the few tears that escape your eyes getting caught in his black curls.
The two of you sit there like that for gods know how long, just seeking the familiar comfort of each others touch...

My Girl
You loved working at the local children’s clinic. Not something that you ever thought that you’d say, a hospital isn’t exactly known for being a good time. But you liked your coworkers, you liked helping the families and you liked getting to see the kids that came in. You also liked getting to meet the volunteers that came in, the only thing that you didn’t like was the location. You were in a little strip mall type building, all of the businesses have separate front and back entrances but are all connected to each other. The clinic is on the end of the building, right next to the gym, the one that was owned by a man named Peter Quill.
The day you’d started he’d noticed you getting out of your car. Unfortunately, your office required you to dress in business professional which meant heels, a pencil skirt, blouse and suit jacket. He’d wolf whistled at you as he’d unlocked the door to his own business, Starlord Gym, and you’d pointedly ignored him. He’d taken to coming into the clinic a day every week and flirting with you until you could be rescued by a phone call or client coming into the clinic.
Then you’d met him, Steve Rogers. He’d brought in a little girl with red hair and blue eyes. She’d fallen while he’d been babysitting for his friends and when her head kept bleeding he’d hustled her to the closest hospital, well, clinic.
You’d gotten her checked in, Mara Barton was a patient of yours, and the doctor had taken care of the cut. Steve had even paid in full for the appointment,
“It’s my fault that she fell in the first place.” He’d told you looking guilty, “We were playing tag and she tripped on a blanket.”
“It happens, you’d be surprised the number of playing accidents that happen every day. She’ll bounce back just fine.” You glance over at the little girl who was looking at a book, before whispering, “I’ve found that ice cream can heal all wounds.” He laughs softly,
“I’ve heard that too. Thank you.”
You’d continued to run into Steve over the next few weeks. At your favorite ice cream place where you’d found him with Mara and her parents, the grocery store then your favorite take out place.
“Are you following me Mr. Rogers?” You ask him with a little smile so that he knows you’re teasing him.
“I was going to ask you the same thing.” He says with that easy smile of his. “Are you new to the area?”
“I am, sort of.” You tell him, “I used to live on the south side but when I broke up with my ex I wanted to live closer to my family.”
“Well you clearly have great taste in take out.” He says gesturing to the food in your hand.
“I like to think so.”
“Maybe, you’d like to do some dessert after? It’s a nice night out, we could go to the park and eat?” He asks rubbing the back of his neck.
“That sounds great.” You tell him with a smile, “You wanna ride together?”
“Sure, we can take my bike if you’re comfortable with that.” He offers and you nod, you’ve never been on a motorcycle before but you’ve always wanted to. “I just need to pay for my food,” a group of people come into the small store and the space suddenly feels far too small.
“I can meet you outside?” You offer and you think he can see the discomfort on your face because Steve gives you a little smile and nod and you slip out the doors breathing a sigh of relief.
“Well, well, what a nice little surprise this is.” Your heart sinks, you know that voice but god you wish you didn’t.
“Peter, hi.” You say flatly as he looks you up and down.
“You’re lookin’ good today, so sexy.”
“No. Peter. Stop.” You say tiredly, you’ve had enough.
“No? I can’t compliment you?”
“You know what? No. You can’t. A compliment is something like, ‘oh, I like your shoes’ or ‘how you did your hair is nice’. What you’re doing is harassment. Especially because I’ve told you I don’t like it and to stop, please, please stop.”
“Wow, you’re a real fucking bitch huh?”
“Yea, hundred percent.” You agree and he glares at you as the door opens behind you,
“Hey Babe?” Steve says and when your anxious gaze meets his calm one you know that he knows exactly how uncomfortable you are.
“Is it cool if we stop and at Clint and Nat’s? I wanna check in on my favorite little pip squeak.” He says strolling over to you.
“Yea that’s fine.”
“The fuck is this?” Peter asks looking furious, “you told me you didn’t have a boyfriend.”
“Last time you asked, technically I didn’t.” Steve throws his arm over your shoulders and presses a quick kiss to the crown of your head,
“Everything okay here Sweetheart?” He drawls and you nod, for some reason you don’t think it’s a good idea for Steve to know what Peter has said. “Good. We should get goin’ then.” He guides you away from Peter but stops and removes his arm from your shoulders then takes the three steps it takes him to crowd Peter’s space.
“Oh, and if you ever talk to my woman like that again, you even look at her funny I’ll make life real uncomfortable for you. I know who you are, and you know who I am, so you know I’m not fuckin’ around.” He growls and your heart skips a beat, you didn’t know that he could make that noise and that it would be so sexy.
“Yea, I do but does she?” Peter asks looking far too pleased for your liking. When Steve doesn’t say anything Peter grins, “I’ll take that as a no. You gonna show her your real colors Cap?”
Steve lets out a low growl then turns away from Peter and his eyes soften when they lock on yours. You give him a small smile as he walks back toward you, but you can see some worry in his eyes.
“Sorry Sweetheart, ready to go?”
“Yea,” You tell him taking his hand. Steve looks surprised for a second but then gives you a smile and leads you to his bike.
“I only have one helmet so I’m gonna have you wear it. We can stop back at my place real quick if you don’t mind to grab my spare.” He says, you are going to ask him what Peter was talking about but not now. When you get to his bike he opens the seat and tucks both of your meals into the space then passes you the helmet. “You’re sure you wanna do this?”
“I am curious about what you meant with Peter earlier about he knows who you are? And he called you Cap?”
“I’m the leader of a biker club.” He says quickly, like he’s ripping off a bandaid.
“Oh. Okay.” You tell him tugging on the helmet, when he looks at you in surprise you freeze, “what?”
“That’s it?”
“I mean, yes?”
“You’re not concerned that I’m in a gang or something?”
“Should I be?” You ask raising one eyebrow and Steve laughs before taking your hand and pressing a kiss to the palm.
“Oh Sweetheart, you’re gonna keep me on my toes and I cannot wait.” He tells you with a grin.
“You plan on keeping me around?”
“Oh, hell yes I do.” He says before kissing you soundly, his hands bump the side of the helmet as he kisses you. “Hope that’s okay with you?” He murmurs before your gaze meets his again.
“I think I’ll manage.” You tell him brightly and he laughs again then swings a leg over his bike and offers you a hand to get on. He presses another kiss to your palm then revs the engine before pulling out of the parking lot. Oh yes, you’ll manage just fine.

-Whenever anyone mentions tickling around him, his face goes bright red
-Sometimes his own HAIR can tickle his ears
-Since its canon that Stans good at tickling i feel like they would get into tickle fights alot….But its most likely just Kyle getting free tickles LMAO
- When you tickle him for too long his laughter is like wheezy with a few snorts
-CANNOT. HANDLE. NIBBLES. AND WHEN THE ‚OM NOM NOM’ SHIT? yeah he is gone
-When Stan gave Kyle nibbles once he thought he hurt his best friend because he screamed so loudly

-HIS LAUGHTER IS SO SWEET LIKE AT FIRST ITS THOSE CUTE GIGGLES THEN ITS FULL ON WHEEZY LAUGH THEN JUST VOICE CRACKS SNORTS AND HICCUPS
LETS MOVE TO STAN:

-He would always tickle his friends but he cannot. CANNOT take what he dishes out. Especially when there are a few people tickling him then he is GONE
-When Wendy found out Stans ticklish she always poked his sides just to hear him squeak
- HAS A STUPIDLY TICKLISH NECK. And Kyle always gives him those dumb tickly kisses (he loves them AHEM)
-Whenever he gets drunk he always melts into a giggly puddle and hes 10x times more ticklish. I dont make the rules
-Whenever theyre playing superheros and someone tries to tickle him he will SCREAM for his life because he thinks its not fair
-Oh and also baby talk? Yea he hates it…becauseitworkstoowellonhim
NEXT ONE ISSSSS KENNY:
-God hes also SO ticklish…A little less than Kyle BUT STILL
-HIS MUFFLED GIGGLES ARE ADORABLE
-Karen always tickles Kenny to cheer him up (it works every single time)
- His laughter through his hoodie isnt loud but when he isnt wearing it?..God preapare yourself.
-He has this like high pitched laugh ITS ADORABLE BUT SO LOUD
-Whenever the guys are playing the superheros and theres a tickle fight going on Mysterion will NOT look at it..He doesnt want to get a lee mood
-But yet the guys always tickle him because they want to hear his genuine laughter and not his raspy voice
- Even tho he doesnt MIND being tickled he always likes to be the ler!
- He always KNOWS what teases work best on people…He CAN be mean and he WILL be.
AND NOW THE LAST ONE..CARTMAN!:
-Some people think that he isnt ticklish. Because theyre too scared to find out
-In reality he has a few spots that are either SUPER TICKLISH or just make him melt and giggle
-His laughter is really loud with snorts and squeals If you want to hear that go for his belly
- But if you want to hear his giggles go for his back or neck both work!
- NOW I KNOW IM TALKING ABOUT THE SUPERHEROS A LITTLE TOO MUCH BUT IDC. When theres a fight going on and Tweek tries to zap Cartman for being a dick he just goes: „NO! NO THATS NOT KEWL!- ILL TELL MY MOM ON YOHOHUHU!”
- Hes the most sadistic ler known to man.
- If anyone doesnt give him whatever he wants he will tickle them until they cry
ANYWAYS THATS ALL LEMME KNOW IF YA LIKED EM!
I have uh
nothing to add
gonna think about these for a few hours and let my brain puddle into my shoes thanks

Used my guilt as motivation to work on my apartment SO things are. A bit more orderly.
I even washed some dishes!! Which also has to do with the fact that my new dish drying rack came in. Ah, proper drainage is great.
#speculation nation#my old one was pretty cheap and got pretty gross#i was gonna wash it but then decided i wanted to just buy a new one#it's used actually so it wasnt too expensive. but it works well for what i need#PLUS built in drainage system so the water doesnt sit on the bottom and get everything gross like the last one#i moved all my swords and daggers to my closet. as well as my wall scrolls and such#not putting anything on the walls yet but im contemplating putting stuff on furniture#my current bed is like. Made for hanging shit basically. which was a good chunk of why i wanted it#not prioritizing decorations rn tho. gotta get through my dishes and clothes first at LEAST#oh yea i found my work shoes. thank god.#Also i moved a few furniture things. my lil blue drawers to my closet. one lil side table to next to the door#i moved a bigger side table out of the kitchen so the kitchen is less crowded#stuck some stuff in my toilet alcove. turns out it's Perfect for holding big shit i wont use often but still wanna keep#i ordered groceries bc i forgot to get mayo and mustard. got a bunch of frozen shit#went a little crazy on it honestly. but i can fit it all so its okay#need to dig my ice trays out bc theres no ice machine. gotta. find them first tho.#my new shower liner came in today so i put that up. it's properly fitted for the shower size and Also not super gross#unlike the one i had for 4 years.#pineapple curtain is still there im talking about the liner inside. the one i had before was Way too long. and also gross.#oh i also put away my utility stuff. mop vacuum and step ladder. all in the same place the broom was put#i did a lot today!! and i could do more. oooooor. i could Write 🤔😉#gonna at least try lmao

A/N: this was not planned lmao. I was just on tiktok when I saw @littlebird616 make a video based on the dialogue, "Matthew, why have you saved all my voice messages?" and "Cause your voice is hot." so here y'all go. I hope I did Matt justice.
word count: 758
Matt Murdock x fem!reader
I’ve never been the type of person to check their significant other’s phone. Whoever I’m with I usually trust 100%, but there’s just something about Matt’s phone that’s calling my name. What does a blind person keep on their phone?
I needed to plan on how to get his phone and look through it without him knowing. Kind of hard when he has the world’s best hearing. Maybe while he’s showering? The noise of the water should be able to cover me getting his phone. Yeah, okay. That should work.
He won’t be home for a couple of hours, so I have time to perfect my, “I’m definitely not up to no good”, façade. He likes to believe he knows when I’m lying, but considering I’ve kept his little daring secret, I think I’m more than capable. I also know how to keep my heart rate steady due to lying a good amount when I was in school when I would get in trouble for something I most definitely did.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
“What are you up to?” Matt asks me as soon as he walks through the door.
“Hello, how was your day? I missed you.” I say with the highest level of sarcasm.
“Hello, how was your day? I missed you.” He repeats back.
“Aww, I missed you too! My day was fantastic, but I’m glad you’re back. Figured you’ve had a tough night patrolling so I started the shower, so it would be hot by the time you get back.”
“You are an angel sent from above.”
“I wouldn’t go that far, but basically yes. Now scoot. You stink.” I say before I pat his butt while he walks past. Thankfully he laid his phone down on the bed before stripping in the bathroom.
Once I heard the shower curtain close I slowly sat on the bed and grabbed his phone.
I decided to go to his messages first. Not much just Foggy, Karen, Peter, and of course me. I would go through his and Peter’s, but the last time I did that I had found out they kissed and let’s just say I’m not able to keep EVERYTHING a secret.
There weren’t any photos considering he’s blind.
I love Matt, but if a person could be defined by what’s on their phone he would be the dullest person ever. There’s legit nothing.
I wonder if he has any interesting voicemails. Might as well check. I don’t have anything to lose. When I click the list there’s a good amount from Foggy and like two from Karen, but what really captures my attention is the amount in there from me. I don’t call him THAT much. At least I don’t think. Kind of curious as to what I said.
August 12, 2015
“Hey Matt! I know you said you were gonna be working late, so I decided to pick up some food for you. I wasn’t quite sure what you’d like, so I just got Mexican and Chinese. I also wasn’t sure if Fo-“
Okay that was very cringy to listen to. It was around the time him and I first started dating. I think we had only been on about three dates, so to say I was nervous is an understatement.
April 9, 2016
“KAREN I SWEAR TO GOD, wait, God, Hello Matthew! I’m at the bar. I’m very drunk. Your coworker is very drunk. I know you can’t see and everything, but could you maybe come help up?”
I remember that night vividly. I wonder if he ever forgave me for throwing up on his shoes.
August 27, 2016
“Babe, I don’t want to alarm you, but there is a very mad woman in your bedroom. About yea high, in really pretty lace lingerie, says you’re late for your anniversary present? Oh wait, that’s me! Get your ass home.”
I can proudly say that he showed up back home in about five minutes.
I listen to a few more messages before coming to the conclusion that he has saved every single voicemail I’ve ever sent him.
I quickly look up when I hear Matt walk back in the room.
“Thanks for that babe. I really needed it.”
“Yeah, no problem. Um Matthew?”
“Yes?”
“Why have you saved all my voice messages?”
“Cause your voice is hot.”
I look over to see him with his classic Murdock smirk before he leans in to kiss me on the cheek. I playfully push him away before responding.
“Alright keep it in your pants. I was just curious.”

The Heist- Part One
dark!Steve Rogers x Reader
You were just supposed to rob a government official’s apartment. Not Captain America’s. Right?
Series Warnings: Dark, Rape/Non-Con, kidnapping, strip club stuff, swearing
Chapter Warnings: Mentions of a strip club, swearing, committing crime ig, nothing much really.
Tumblr media
You sure as hell weren’t a criminal. Well- your record would say otherwise, but it’s not like this was your dream profession. You wouldn’t call yourself a criminal. More of a Walmart Robin Hood; stealing from the rich and giving too...well...yourself. Fine. You were a criminal. But a girl had to pay the bills. At least you got to stick it to the man, right?
You let out a sigh while evaluating your life choices. It wasn’t every little girl’s dream to be breaking into houses and apartments for some cash or valuable possessions. Technically, you were an artist by day, going to art school in New York, living the aesthetically pleasing dream of student loans and a sky-high rent that your shifts at the strip club were hardly making a dent in. But hey, at least one time you got to dance for Captain America, even if he was reluctant and a bit shy. You were certain very few women could say the same.
And that’s how you found yourself in the elevator of a cozy apartment complex, traveling upward toward your new objective. Bella, your roommate, literal partner in crime, and the only good thing that came out of socializing with your coworkers at the club, had given you a new lead of a man who was supposedly loaded and yet lived in an accessible and modest living space. He was single, and worked some sort of political job that left his apartment constantly vacant, specifically on the day you planned for your heist. A perfect target. Some corrupt government worker who wanted to live a ‘low profile life’ yet was dumb enough to settle down in a complex who’s only security was a couple cameras and guards. Bella would easily be able to freeze the frames on the cameras for an hour, giving security the false pretense that the hallways were empty and giving you the perfect window to snatch some fancy watches and some cash.
The elevator doors opened right as you received a text message from Bella.
Cameras taken care of. Now go pay our rent ;)
You exited the elevator only to collide with a blonde woman carrying a laundry basket.
“Oh god, I’m so clumsy I’m so sorry!” she exclaimed while bending down to pick up the clothes that had fallen out of the basket.
You bent down to help her collect her clothing. “No, I’m so sorry! That was completely my fault!” You offered a smile as you stood back up, but was met with a calculating gaze as she studied you.
“I’m sorry, are you new around here?” She seemed to catch herself and her demeanor changed. “It’s just, I’ve never seen you around here before.” She gave  a small smile.
“Oh ,I’m just a girlfriend!” you replied. “Just stopping by.”
“Are you Steve’s girlfriend?” she asked while gesturing to the door at the end of the hallway with her head. It was your target’s door. So the political scumbag’s name was Steve. Lovely. “I don’t think he’s home right now.”
Your brain churned out a fast response. “Yeah, I know. Unfortunately for me, he’s always working. I just left my purse, and he gave me his keys to stop by and pick it up.”
“Well I’m just glad he’s found someone with all his work. I know it’s been hard for him.”
The two of you exchanged one last goodbye smile before she stepped into the elevator.
“I’m Sharon by the way. And you are...?”
“Olivia,” you replied, the fake name came out as a second nature as the elevator doors closed.
You let out the breath you’d been holding.
“Well that could’ve gone worse,” you mutter to yourself as you approach the door at the end of the hallway.
You slipped the lock picker out of your sleeve before checking your surroundings cautiously. A minute after proceeding to insert the pick into the lock, a soft click resounded from the wooden door, and it easily swung open with a turn of the knob.
As you entered through the doorway, you took into account the little bits of vintage decoration that was dispersed amongst more modern furniture. A small Uncle Sam poster, a couple of war antiques, and some old photos with figures that remained unrecognizable in the distance. This government official seemed to have fought either in World War II or Vietnam, probably making him old. You shuddered at the fact you’d called yourself his girlfriend, but Sharon hadn’t seemed to bat an eye. Either way, you didn’t care for antiques, as much as they would have sold for a hefty price. They were probably personal to him and as you walked around, you realized there were quite a few personal items that were no use for you. As you walked into the bedroom a glint from the dresser caught your eyes, and your chest filled with giddiness and excitement as you neared. Three beautiful watches were on display under the mirror that sat atop the dresser. A Cartier that would probably sell for 8,000, a Rolex that would go for 10,000 easily, and then a beautiful older Rolex. With careful hands you snatched up the two newer watches and placed them into the small knapsack you’d been carrying. After consideration, you decided to leave the older one as it probably held a sentimental value and wouldn’t give you as much money as the other two.
You walked around some more, occasionally picking up valuables like solid gold tie clips and little pieces of Stark technology, which you were surprised he had. You had to be filthy rich to support, much less afford, anything made by that war profiteer. You picked up stashes of cash lying around, which seemed to be a lot. This man definitely seemed to use cash more than credit card which wasn’t as common around people your age. As you were rummaging around his study for any pieces of fine art (which you had already gotten two of) or government documents you could sell on the black market, you knocked over a picture frame which had landed on a file that read CLASSIFIED in red letters...right under the six letters that spelled S.H.I.E.L.D. This fucker was a S.H.I.E.L.D official. You were gonna kill Bella for the vague intel.
“Shit I need to get out of here,” you mumbled. Senators and representatives were fine targets, all usually too old and skeevy for you to care about, but a S.H.I.E.L.D. official was dangerous and could get you somewhere worse than jail. Hell, you could’ve accidentally broken into Nick Fury’s place. You were screwed. So screwed. And you needed to get the hell out of this apartment. As you went to put the picture back, you glanced at it, before doing a double take and squinting at it in the dark room. Oh. This was much worse than accidentally breaking into Nick Fury’s place.
The two men laughing with an arm around each other in war uniforms with an arm around one another was innocent enough until you could finally make out their faces. Steve Rogers an easy enough one to make out, especially considering you were on his lap a couple weeks ago, and James Buchanan Barnes looked practically unrecognizable without a murderous glare on his face.
“No,” you muttered before quickly placing the picture back down.
You once again assessed your surroundings. It all made sense. The subtle 1940’s vibe, the war antiques. Bella had said he did work for the government and that wasn’t a lie. In the corner of the room you spotted a large circular leather case that was partially unzipped. Through the slight opening of the brown leather, the red, blue, and glinting bright silver was unmistakable.
“No, no, no, fuck,” you muttered frantically as you checked your watch. You still had 38 minutes before the security cameras in the hall unfroze. That was enough time to put everything you stole back. You’d much rather work open to close shifts at the club every day for three months straight than get fucked over by Captain Fucking America.
You scrambled out of the study, moving to the living room first to put back the authentic paintings. You grabbed a stool from the high bar counter in the kitchen so you could rehang the medium sized work of art. Your mind was racing. This had to be karma for all the horrible shit you’d done in the past. God decided he had enough of your delinquent shenanigans and set you marching straight into the arms of America’s righteous hero. As you finished hanging the painting you spun around on your heel, completely forgetting you were on a wobbly wooden stool. Your heart stopped for a moment before you regained your footing. Carefully climbing down the stool, you almost missed the subtle turn of a lock coming from the door.
Oh you were so done for. Your limbs flew everywhere as you scrambled to the bedroom, sliding under the bed right as you heard the door open. The rumble of Steve Roger’s voice was clear as he talked on the phone and it cut through the walls from the living room.
“Well yea Buck, obviously Tony’s gonna be a little cold toward you. Not that I blame him. I’m just thankful he didn’t start an entire civil war over it. I guess it’s just a good thing we’re not war criminals.” He let out a chuckle before pausing. “Hey Buck? Yeah. I’m gonna have to call you back.” Another pause and you heard some rummaging around. “Why? I think my apartment was just broken into. I gotta go down to security. Yeah, thanks bud.”
Steve hung up and you heard some angry muttering as he walked into his room. From under the bed you saw his tennis shoes and dark jeans as he paced at the foot of the bed. You covered your mouth to stop your anxious breathing, afraid he’d hear you from your hiding spot.
The few minutes he spent in his room felt like eternity before he stomped out and you heard the opening and closing of another door as he exited the apartment. You crawl out from under the bed, your head spinning as you attempted to think of a way out of your predicament.
The window.
Quickly and quietly, you stood up and made your way to his bedroom window, looking out for a fire escape and letting out an annoyed huff when you saw none.
‘Maybe there’s one for the living room window,’ your brain chimed.
You rushed to the living room, scooping up the two watches and your empty knapsack on your way, and almost screamed with joy at the sight of the fire escape next to the window. Your fingers curled around the bottom of it and give it a sharp tug up, opening it just enough for you to squeeze through.
Just as you were about to lift your leg over the ledge and climb down the stairs to sweet sweet freedom, being able to forget about everything that ever happened tonight, a large hand wrapped around the back of your neck and wrenched you back with such force that you tumbled backwards and landed on your butt.
He was massive. Six feet of pure muscle towered over you as you trembled from your position on the floor. He squatted down, resting his elbows on his knees as he took you in, blue eyes practically cutting through the darkness, and you let out a small whimper.
“Didn’t your mother ever tell you stealing is wrong?”

Oh god. No. Not here. Not now. Not with these people. Eddie can't breathe, but he can't let them know he can't breathe. He loosens his tie just a little bit - the one Ana went back for after Eddie was discharged from the hospital.  His nervous laughter is really a way to suck some oxygen back into his lungs, and when a heavy hand touches his elbow, and the smile on its owner’s face distorts. He's going to pass out if he doesn't move, doesn't flee from this spiraling, spinning disaster.
"Could you, uh, could you excuse me?" He asks and plasters on his best charming smile, hoping his voice isn't as high and squeaky as he thinks it is.
He catches Ana's eye from across the room as he moves through what feels like a sea of strangers. She's worried, but Eddie doesn't stop to explain anything and continues his way to the bathroom, where he locks himself inside and lets himself fall apart the way his body was begging to.
His fingers curl tight the porcelain of the sink, and he tries, tries to slow his breathing. Finally, he tells himself to stop it in the mirror, even smacks himself across the cheek, but nothing changes.
There's a soft knock on the door, and Ana's gentle voice comes through the cracks, "Eddie? Are you okay?"
"Fine," he grits out.
"Are you having another attack?"
"I said I'm fine!" his anger and frustration echo too loud against the tile of the bathroom. , get a grip, Diaz. "Can you just get Chris some cake? I'll be right out."
Ana's fading footsteps are the only answer he gets, and Eddie focuses back on himself. He tries to remember what the pamphlet from the hospital said, or rather, what Buck said it says the night he found it buried on Eddie's counter and read it to him, but his brain is just a white-hot sear of nothing. Eddie pulls out his phone and dials Buck - no time to look for his name in the phone book. He doesn't answer, and Eddie nearly throws the phone into the sink.
"Damn!"
But it's Sunday, and Buck said something about Taylor coming over on Sunday, so, of course, he isn't answering. Eddie thinks for a second, in desperation, he'll call Bobby, but then his phone vibrates, and he sees Buck's smile fill the screen. He rubs his thumb over it before swiping to answer.
"Buck?" He answers.
"Hey, you called?" Buck asks on the other end of the line, slightly fuzzy, but Eddie can hear the smile in his voice, and the vice around his heart loosens just a little bit.
"Buck?" He asks again as if he can't process anything else.
"Uh, yea. Are you okay?"
"No. Panic attack."
"But aren't you at that christening?"
"Yes."
"Shit."
"Buck, help.” He hates how desperate he must sound, but Buck’s already seen him at his most desperate, trying to hold onto his life and knowing, instinctively, that Buck would help him. He would save him.
Buck always saves him.
" What have you tried?" Buck asks.
"Not much. Nothing. I just, I called you.”
"That’s good. Where are you?"
"Bathroom."
"You need to focus on something besides the panic. So, find me four things you see, Eddie. Try to be specific."
"Okay,” Eddie looks around the bathroom. He sees a million times too many things, and it takes him a second to focus in on something, “Uh, a pink shower curtain,” like your pink sweater that you say is salmon, but Buck, it’s pink. “white rugs,” dazzling white like your teeth when you smile, and that patch of skin that sometimes peeks through under your waistband. “a bristly hairbrush,” god, you’re hair is always so perfect, “and, and curtains on the window. They’re sheer; pink too,” just like that sweater.
"Good,” Buck soothes, “now, three things you can smell."
"Umm, vanilla soap,” sometimes you smell like vanilla, and sugar - like an ice cream cone on a hot summer day, “cinnamon toothpaste,” like in your bathroom, crumpled up in the corner, “my cologne,” you bought me this bottle for Christmas.
"That’s good, Eddie. Two things you can hear."
"I hear people - outside the door."
"Not them,” Buck tells him, “Two other things. Ignore that sound."
"I hear - I hear crickets outside the open window, and I hear...you. Your voice in my ear, your breath,” I always hear you, even when I don’t want to.
"One thing you can touch," Buck says quietly, and Eddie takes a shaking breath, presses his hand over his chest.
"My heartbeat."
"Is it slower than before?"
"Yes."
"Good. Do you think you're okay?"
“Yea. I um, I’m probably just going to go home, sleep it off.”
“Good idea.”
“Thank you, Buck.”
“Of course.”
Eddie hangs up and slips his phone back into his pocket. He isn’t panicking anymore, but he doesn’t feel great. He splashes his face with water and tries to smooth down all the places he’s rumpled before he opens the bathroom door and finds Ana on the other side, Christopher sitting next to her on the floor with a plate of cake in his lap.
“Are you okay?” she asks, putting a hand to his cheek, and it burns where there was just cold air against the drying water.
Eddie nods, “I’m okay. But I think I’m probably gonna go. In case it happens again.”
“Let me get my purse.”
“No, you stay. It’s your family. Just tell them I got sick.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yea,” he leans down and kisses her cheek before helping Chris up.
Neither says much to the other in the car, but Eddie chuckles when Chris rips his suit jacket off the moment the door is closed. He sees the silhouette on the front steps against the fading sun before he gets the truck parked and shakes his head at the realization it’s Buck.
"What are you doing here?" he asks when Buck jogs up to him.
"I didn't want you to be alone when you got home,” Buck answers quietly and then turns his attention to Christopher once the back door is open, and he’s climbing out, “Hey, buddy, did you have a good time? You look pretty handsome in that suit."
Chris rolls his eyes, "that's what everyone kept telling me. But then they said I would have looked better if I cut my hair.
“Well, you know what? I like this long, floppy look,” Buck ruffles his hand through Chris’s hair. It had definitely gotten long, and maybe a little out of control, but he didn’t want to cut it, and Eddie only remembered being dragged to the barbershop every five weeks to have his hair clipped, no matter how much he begged to keep it just a little bit longer.
Chris smiles, “thanks, Buck.”
“Do you think you could give me a minute with your dad?” Buck asks when they all get inside the house. Eddie flips on the lamp by the door, and Christopher nods and leaves for his room, closing the door behind him.
“I’m fine, Buck,” Eddie says, walking further into the house, turning on lights as he goes.
“Okay, but do you wanna talk about what happened?”
“No.”
“Was it too many people?”
Eddie huffs out a laugh, “I’m half Mexican, Buck; I grew up going to huge parties, family and friends always over on the weekend. That wasn’t it.”
“What was it, then?”
“Why does it matter?” he doesn’t mean to sound as exasperated as he does, but sometimes Buck just brings it out of him.
“Because if you can figure out what’s triggering you, you can figure out how to control the panic better.”
“I don’t panic.”
“You didn’t, but now you are. So let’s try and figure out why.”
Eddie sighs, “can I have a beer while we do it, at least?”
“If I get one too.”
They go into the kitchen, and Eddie takes two beers from the fridge and cracks one open before handing it to Buck. He watches him take a long, slow sip. Eddie’s hands start to shake around the glass, and he forces himself to look away, down at the shine of his shoes to keep whatever is trying to rise pushed down.
“Was there like some kind of a loud noise?” Buck asks.
“No. It isn’t - loud noises have never bothered me.”
“Things have changed a little bit, though.”
“I don’t think they have anything to do with being shot. I know no one wants to believe me, but I’m fine about that.”
“Maybe no one wants to believe you because you were shot. That doesn’t happen to most people even once, and it’s happened to you twice.”
“I know, but I swear to you, I’m okay. I don’t think that’ what this about.”
“If you say so. Let’s recount the night then. What happened right before it started?”
“Ana’s great aunt, she - she said I was perfect for Ana -  a good addition to their family.”
Buck takes another swig from the bottle; his eyebrows are knitted in thought. If Chim or Hen were there, they’d make a joke about him not straining himself, and they’d only be kidding, but Eddie knows Buck has a lot of thoughts, a lot of good, deep ones, that maybe Eddie is the only one to have ever heard, “And didn’t you say the first time was after the salesman referred to Ana as Chris’s mom?”
“Yea,” Eddie says quietly.
“Do you think maybe you’re just having a hard time with how serious your relationship is getting?”
“It’s not getting that serious.”
“Eddie, she introduced you to like all her family, you went to an important family event, her great-aunt thinks your excellent husband material.”
Eddie’s breath catches in his throat, and he coughs, trying to force it out, but it sits there like a bubble trying to choke him, and the kitchen starts to spin, turquoise spiraling into stainless steel, spiraling into Buck.
“Stop, stop saying things like that,” he sputters out.
“You’re starting to panic again, aren’t you?” Buck asks.
“When the hell did it get so serious? I was just - I don’t know what I was doing. I liked her, but I didn’t mean-”
Eddie backs against the counter next to the sink, he tries to loosen his tie, but he can’t make his fingers work. Then Buck crosses the space between them and replaces Eddie’s hand with his own, pulling down on the knot and unbuttoning Eddie’s collar. “Breathe; breathe,” he whispers to him and puts his hands on Eddie’s shoulders, and he’s so close Eddie has no choice but to look at him. He feels his hand in Buck’s, slowly pressing against the other man’s chest.
“Breathe with it,” Buck says of his heartbeat, and Eddie closes his eyes. It takes a few moments, but soon his breath is in sync with Buck’s heartbeat, and he’s not sure he’s ever felt this kind of calm before.
“Okay?” Buck asks.
“No, but yes.”
“I’m gonna ask you something, and I need you to be honest - not for me, but for yourself.”
“O-okay.”
“Do you want Ana to be in your future? Your far future?”
“No,” he answers quickly, but it’s a question he’s asked himself before and was just too afraid to say out loud,  “but -”
“But what? Chris likes her?”
“Yes!” Eddie shouts.
“Maybe he does, maybe he even loves her a little, but he loves you more, and he wants you to be happy, and he knows you aren’t happy, and he probably knows it’s because of her.”
“He does?”
“Yes,” Buck takes Eddie’s hand away from his heart, but he doesn’t let go of it,  “your heart knows it too, and it’s screaming at you, Eddie, but you aren’t listening.”
“I wanted to be ready, to move on from Shannon, not just after she died, but long before that too.”
“I know.”
“Am I never going to be ready?” He can feel the wet of his eyes as he blinks up at Buck, vulnerable once again in front of him.
“I think you are, but not with Ana, and that’s okay. I mean, she’s the first person you seriously dated besides your wife, Eds. So it’s okay that she isn’t the right fit, and it’s okay if it takes you a little while longer to find who is.”
“Is Taylor your right fit?” Eddie blurts out, and it makes Buck let go of his hand.
“Whoah, we’re talking about you here.”
“Is she? It’s been four months, and you’re still together; she’s still actually here.”
“Yea, she hasn’t run away from me yet, and ya know, we have a good time.”
“She makes you happy?”
“Y-yea. I mean, am I ready to ask her to marry me? No, but I gave her a drawer last week.”
“A drawer?”
“Yea. She’s only got a few things in it; honestly, she lives more in the news van than anything.”
“You gave Taylor a drawer. In your loft?”
“Am I mumbling or something? A drawer, yes. In my loft.”
“That’s uh - that’s cool.” But, damnit, Eddie can’t do this for the third time. He doesn’t have the strength left. He grips the dishtowel hanging from the knife drawer just to ground himself to something.
“You okay?”
“Yep, yep.”
“You’re looking a little panicky. Maybe it’s not just Ana. Maybe you’ve just got a real fear of commitment thing going on. Even if it’s mine.”
“Shit,” his chest hurts this time, and his whole body is hot, but he’s shivering.
“Put your hand back on my heart.”
“No, no! God, that’s going to make this worse.”
“What? Why? It worked last time.”
“Exactly. And in the bathroom, it was you, so much you,” Eddie’s knees are weak now. He isn’t sure how much longer he can stay upright, and suddenly everything, fucking everything, smells like Buck.
“Eddie, you’re not making any sense.”
“I need you to go. Can you go, please?”
“I’m not going to leave you like this.”
And, of course, Eddie knows Buck won’t leave him. Buck will do just about anything Eddie asks, but he won’t do this. He won’t leave Eddie when Eddie needs him so badly.
“Buck, please, you’re making things worse.”
“How am I making things worse?”
“Because you’re the only one who can make them better!”
“Eddie, Eddie.” Buck wraps Eddie up in his arms before he can fall to the floor, probably hitting his head on the way down. The instant calm he feels with Buck’s body pressed hard against his, his soft breath hitting the curve of Eddie’s neck terrifies him. It isn’t a new fear, but it’s one he’s been feeling so much more lately, one he can’t seem to ignore. He’s so tired from his body trying to run away from everything; his bones ache, his chest is sore. Finally, he closes his eyes and gives in to the fear, stops trying to fight or flee, and just lets Buck hold onto him. His fingers rake through Eddie’s sweat-slicked hair as Eddie’s breathing starts to slow.
“Shh, it’s okay,” Buck whispers into Eddie’s throbbing temple.
“It’s not okay at all.”
“Why not?”
“Because I’m in love with you,” he rushes out in one broken breath, “it isn’t just that Ana feels wrong; it’s that you feel right. You’ve always felt right.”
Buck is quiet for what feels like a hundred moments before he finally seems to have something to say.
“Huh,” he breathes out from the back of his throat.
“That’s all you have to say?”
“What would you like me to say?”
“I don’t know. You could say that I’m insane, that you love Taylor, that you’re not into men, not into me.”
“I could say any of that, but then I’d be lying to you.”
“What?”
“Look, Eddie, I-I don’t know if I’m in love with you, but I feel something. Something more than I’ve ever felt with anyone, and I kinda keep thinking it’s going to go away, but it never goes away.”
“Huh.”
Buck laughs and gently sits Eddie up, tangled across Buck’s long legs, still safe in his arms, “are you okay?” he asks.
“I think I am.”
“Good.”
Buck presses a kiss to the tip of Eddie’s nose, and Eddie smiles before he tilts his chin, so Buck’s lips fall against his. It’s a slow, quiet kiss that lasts only a few seconds before they both pull away.
Eddie is so tired he can barely keep his eyes open, so he lets them slip closed, lets Buck hold him closer in the middle of the kitchen floor until he falls asleep.

------------ Occupy My Heart ------------
Draco Malfoy x fem!Reader
warning: implied smut, brief mentions of drinking
~~~
written for the lovely @leydileyla who offered me this absolute gem of a prompt that I simply couldn't pass up
hope you enjoy hon :DD
~~~
You were really starting to feel the buzz of the Butterbeers a few hours into the Interhouse party that was thrown for all the returning eighth years. You're such a horrible lightweight, Butterbeer is just vaguely alcoholic, if at all. It warmed you up and left a pleasant tingle in its wake. Just enough to let the music and lights around you blur and blend, to ripple against your skin and soothe. The smell of the ale cookies served at various tables scattered around the one conjoined common room for all the Houses now wafted through the thick, cloying air, between meandering bodies of various dancing students, all the scents making your head spin from where you were sitting at the little makeshift bar.
The party's been wilding on way past curfew but no teachers arrived to interrupt you yet so it was fair game. Everything felt so liquid and pleasant, the atmosphere sticking to your slick skin, the warmth and haze prickling at the back of your neck.
Gods you needed a shower. Perhaps you might sneak away to have a quick one? The party showed no signs of slowing down and you were drained.
As you pushed away from the bar, colors still swimming before your eyes from all the sparkle and decorative banners strung up everywhere, you felt a shiver run down your spine.
You felt eyes on you.
Turning about to find the possible culprit, you registered a flash of platinum blonde hair in a darkened corner and the piercing glow of silver eyes lingering on you.
Draco.
A chuckle rumbled from your chest as you allowed yourself a moment to revel in his gaze before melding into the throng of people, sliding between them, trying to remember whether your dorm was the door on the left or the right upstairs. It wouldn't do to barge into someone else's dormroom.
As you made your way along you still felt pins and needles in your back, as if someone was keeping pace with you. Goodness, that was incredibly paranoid, wasn't it? You vowed to yourself to never drink Butterbeer again. Even slightly tipsy you were a disaster.
Finally you got through everyone and into the quieter part of the room, where all the dorms were. There were only a few people milling about there, stumbling off to their rooms with whoever they pulled or to retch or simply pass out.
The beat of the music was muffled here, no longer a steady, beating ebb flowing through your skull, now more resembling a foggy memory. It was easier to think, to breathe. You've never been much of a party animal, but this one was important. It celebrated unity and the war being over, it celebrated those who lived and fought. It mattered to attend. After Hogwarts rebuilt and reopened, the first thing that changed was the system of the four houses, headmistress McGonagall had dismantled it entirely after witnessing how horrific segregation could be.
Everyone was thrown in one mixing pot, which had been strange at first, but throwing a party like this really helped scrub out the imaginary lines in the sand everyone had drawn between themselves.
Speaking of scrubbing, you finally arrived to your dorm and basically collapsed through the door in your quest for a shower. Where was the bathroom door again? Ah right, over there, of course.
You slipped through, the bright Lumos having you squint for a second while your eyes adjusted from the dim haze of downstairs to the sparkling clean of tile.
Right. You closed the door behind you and began to undress, your clothes peeling away from the sweat plastered all over you from all the vigorous dancing you'd done.
As you kicked off your shoes and set your bare feet on the cold floor, a distinct icy chill ran up your legs and through the rest of you, shivering away the brittle buzz you'd worked up, cooling you down.
Once your clothes were a discarded pile on the floor, you stepped into the shower and pulled the fogged glass door shut, fiddling with the taps before a spray of warm water finally hit your face and shoulders.
What a relief.
You began to scrub and lather yourself up, cleaning off the night with the water sluicing down your skin, your mind starting to wander as you relaxed into the moment more. Warm showers were a treasure.
Draco was staring at you back there. For a brief second you made eye contact before you left. Did that mean something? You felt silly for wanting to know but that boy has occupied the vacant spaces of your heart for far too long now, and you couldn't help but hope that his intense, focused gaze meant something more.
As you began washing your hair, a knock on the door startled you out of your skin. You almost poured shampoo into your eyes for heaven's sake!
"Um—occupied?" you yelled out, hoping to be heard over the gush of water. If someone needed the bathroom urgently then they could come in to use it, it's not as if anyone would see you in your birthday suit, but if it wasn't urgent then they could find another one.
"Ahh, Y/N, it's—uh, it's me! I was just wondering if you were okay?" a familiar voice from the other side of the door spoke up.
You knew that voice. It was so familiar. Who—
You felt every bit of you freeze as your brain spat out the answer for you.
Draco. It was Draco.
Checking up on you.
What should you do now? Your heart began hammering away quicker, this was hardly the time or place to flirt or attempt seduction and—
Well. As you considered the statement that just flittered through your mind you found it not entirely true.
You were naked after all, naked and wet. What more perfect scenario for seduction did there exist?
"I'm okay Draco, um—you can come in?" you yelled back, lips stretching into a smile. Technically he shouldn't be here at all, seeing as these were girls quarters and all, but if he's been invited it shouldn't be too much of an issue. If he accepted, that was.
There was silence for a few beats, the moment dragging on, you almost thought you'd scared him off, but then—
The soft, distinct click of the door being opened and shut.
Bingo.
Now, how exactly would you do this? You supposed you could ask him to get you a towel when you were done, and let him have a glimpse.
Merlin it sounded corny as all fuck, but you were prepared to do what it takes.
Until then though, you supposed you should talk about anything, keep the atmosphere up.
You could just barely make out his tall, foggy outline through the sliding glass of the shower, and you watched him move to sit down on the toilet seat.
Wait a second—if you could partly see him, did that mean he could partly see you too?
That was even more perfect.
"Hi Draco, you like the party?" you threw out the question casually, hoping to lessen the strangeness of the situation. You and him were friends, well, acquaintances more so, so it's not as if you've never spoken berore, but still. This was way different from any interaction youve had prior. "Thank you for checking up on me."
"Ahh ahem—no problem Y/N, you seemed a little tipsy back there so I uh—I thought you might—Well yea." he stumbled through his words, hardly even finishing the sentence properly.
That was—quite uncharacteristic of Draco Malfoy. He was always the one with the silver tongue, the sharp remark, had a comment to spare for anything, and to hear him stutter and hiccup his way through speaking as if he were a nervous school girl talking to her crush was very new and strange.
You'd be lying if you said it wasn't endearing as all hell though.
You could have a lot of fun with this.
"I see I see. I did build a bit of a buzz but nowhere near as bad as some of the other characters around this place. I mean, did you see Zabini strip his shirt off and then dance on the tables? Goodness." you simply continued along, as if this were a casual conversation and you weren't naked and washing out your hair.
"Haha, yeah, yes, Blaise will have one hell of a hangover tomorrow." Draco chuckled, though it sounded breathy and rough, somehow.
You were almost done now.
"Parvati will too, say, could you brew a vial of that potion of yours, for hangovers, for her? She's my roommate and I loathe to hear her whining tomorrow. You're the best at it, after all." You let your voice linger above the spray.
This time, Draco audibly spluttered and you saw a flurry of blurred movement, which eased a laugh past your lips.
"Um—yea, of—of course. I can do that. Um, Y/N isn't this—I don't know, a little strange?"
He sounded so thoroughly flustered, which really got you hoping. The stares, checking up on you, doing you favors, getting flustered by the situation, hm.
Hm.
It was worth a shot anyhow, right?
Time for a new plan.
Another chuckle rattled through your ribs. This was insane.
You grabbed the handle of the door and slid it open just enough to lean your head through. You could finally get a good look at him. He was sitting on the toilet seet, his entire face splotched and flushed all down his neck, wringing his hands and bouncing his leg.
When he heard you slide the door open he turned his head abruptly and you heard his breath hitch as he got a look at your face and shoulder sticking out, his eyes sliding from your eyes to your lips, lower still, to your neck and collarbones and—then he remembered himself and turned away abruptly.
"I'm sorry! Oh Merlin, are you—are you done? Do you uh—need a towel or—?" He began to ramble all in one breath and you just continued smiling fondly at his turned back.
"Oh Draco, won't you come in here with me already?"
You held out your hand and patiently waited. You could imagine this would be quite a fallout.
Draco stood completely still when the words left your mouth. One minute, two minutes, three—
The water drying on your skin while more sprayed down had gooseflesh rising all over you. Still, you waited.
"Um—what?" Draco whimpered eventually, voice giving out on him at the end there.
"You heard me." you assurred him.
The hum of running water was the only sound bouncing off the walls again, the very faintest echo of music from downstairs lilting through the closed door.
Draco turned to face you again, he looked wrecked. Eyes wide and dark, his pupils basically swallowing the silver irises, hair disheveled, breath coming in gentle pants.
"You want—?" he mumbled, his voice betraying his own hope and eagerness.
"Yes. For a while." your own smile widened, and for a second a pang of anxiety struck you as you realized he was about to see you naked, but it all dissipated into pooling heat and want as you watched him slowly reach for the first button of his mint green button up shirt and slide it loose. His wide eyes never left yours and you watched the slight tremor in his fingertips as he freed every button, one by one, until his shirt opened and slid off his shoulders, fluttering to the floor.
God he's delicious. All lean, well defined Seeker's physique, the pale marble of his skin an endless expanse. You let your eyes wander, drink in the sight, slide across his chest and lower, over his taut abdomen, hanging up on the waistband of his pants. An outline pushed against the seams there, your mouth watering at the visible bulge.
"Me too." he mumbled, as if you needed any more proof or reassurance of his desire, his hand slowly reaching for his zipper now.
Oh what a lovely party it's been indeed and it was about to get so much better.

You woke up late the next morning to the sound of your roommate clamoring around in the kitchen. You wanted to be annoyed but when you looked at the clock, your eyes went wide. It was almost noon—and you had to be at work in two hours. You let out a deep sigh as you got out of bed.
You got ready as quickly as you could, opting out of doing much of anything with your makeup and hair. It wasn’t like your manager was going to care anyway. You strode into the kitchen, immediately grabbing a travel mug from the cabinet for your coffee.
“You slept late,” Elena said with a hint of amusement in her tone, “Long night?”
You chuckled and shook your head as you dumped coffee into your mug, “Not like whatever it is that you’re thinking. He just gave me a ride home, that’s it.”
“Mhm,” she leaned back against the counter, unable to wipe the smile off of her face, “You left his hoodie hanging off the bathroom door.”
You sighed, looking up at the ceiling, “It was cold, and he let me borrow it.”
“You can say you like him, you know,” she laughed, “The ground isn’t gonna open underneath you if you say you think some guy is cute.”
You smiled but shook your head, “I gotta go—slept through my alarm,” you gathered up your purse and keys, “You got plans tonight?”
She shook her head, “Nope. You?”
“None at all,” you laughed, “I’m recovering from all the human interaction yesterday.”
“Thanks for coming. I know you didn’t really want to.”
You took a sip of your coffee, “Hate to say it, but it was actually pretty fun. So, thank you,” you chuckled, “But I’m not doing shit once I get home from work tonight. No extra human interaction for me.”
You said goodbye and took off out the door. You hadn’t even made it to work yet and you already couldn’t wait to be back home. There was one more semester between you and finishing college, and you couldn’t wait until you could actually get a full-time job that you enjoyed. You were lucky that you worked in a restaurant where your coworkers and your boss were all good people, but you couldn’t wait to be done with it.
When you came home, you were hit with a wave of heat and the scent of good food as soon as you walked through the door. Your body instantly relaxed as you kicked off your shoes and tossed your purse onto the couch. Elena watched and shook her head at you with a smile.
“Welcome home, honey,” she laughed as she grabbed plates out of the cupboard.
You laughed, “So glad I get to come home to you,” you walked into the kitchen and looked over everything that she was making, “Real talk though, thanks for taking care of dinner.”
“Think of it as my thank you for coming out with me last night.”
“Are you trying to reward me into socializing with people?”
She laughed, “Would it work?”
You looked back at the food, “…maybe.”
“Speaking of which,” she started piling food onto her plate, “Angel texted me today.”
“Everything alright?”
She waited for you to look at her again, “He asked about you.”
You already had a forkful of food in your mouth, “What about me?”
She laughed, “He was just letting me know that he had a really good time with you and wanted to see you again. I guess after the whole ass-beating comment he felt like he had to get my approval. Which…was smart of him,” she smiled.
You laughed, “Oh my god,” you shook your head, “Put the fear of god in the poor guy.”
Despite the fact that you were trying to play it off, you couldn’t deny that the fact that Angel had reached out to her about you felt good. It made you feel like he might’ve been taking the whole thing at least a little seriously. You didn’t know just how serious you were looking for things to be, but you knew you weren’t in the mood to be jerked around by anyone.
Elena must’ve seen each thought cross your face because she nudged you gently as you both walked over to the couch, “You good?”
You snapped out of it, nodding, “Yea, I’m good.”
“If you don’t wanna see him again, you don’t have to,” she took a bite of her food, “I mean I love the guys but I’d be the first to say that they aren’t for everyone.”
“No,” you shook your head, “It’s not that. It’s just, I dunno. I don’t even know what I’m up for, you know?”
She nodded, “I know. I think he might be good for you, honestly. He’s a good guy. A little impulsive sometimes,” she shook her head with a smile, “But he’s got a good heart.”
You knew that she wasn’t lying about that. You could feel that emanating from him when the two of you were sitting and talking the night before. You nodded and didn’t say anything more about it. She put a show on the television and your previous conversation fell by the wayside. It was hard not to think about it, though.
Once you were done with dinner, you hopped in the shower. You were in your room, getting ready to change into your pajamas for the night when your phone started to go off on your bed. Seeing Angel’s name flashing on the screen sent nervousness and excitement through you at the same time. You sat down on the bed still in your towel and took a deep breath before answering.
“Hello?”
“Hey,” you could hear the smile in his voice.
“Everything alright?”
“Yea,” he chuckled, “just wanted to make sure you really gave me the right number.”
You laughed, “For a moment I thought about playing the John Cena theme song just to give you a good scare.”
Along with his laughter you could hear a lot of voices in the background, and you assumed that he was at the clubhouse, “Your sweetness overwhelms me.”
You couldn’t help but to laugh, “Believe it or not, that’s not the first time someone has said that to me,” you paused, biting at your lip as you waited for him to say why he was calling, “Not that I don’t want to hear from you, but was there a reason you called?”
The pause that followed was unsettling, but finally you heard him take a breath, “Yea. I, uh, I just wanted to know if you’d want to go out sometime,” he paused for a moment, “With me.”
You smiled, “With you? I mean, in that case,” you let slip a quiet laugh, “I might be able to budget some time in my schedule.”
“Really?”
“Not even I am mean enough to joke about that,” you chuckled.
He laughed, “Okay. Wow. Um, okay, yea. How…how does Thursday night sound?”
“Sounds good.”
You could hear him let out a sigh of relief, “I’ll pick you up at seven?”
“It’s a date,” just saying the words made you feel giddy. You were curious about one thing, though, “What made you decide to call and ask?”
His laughter had a touch of nervousness to it and you found it hard to believe that he was a man that got nervous about much of anything, “I was gonna wait a couple days so you wouldn’t think that I was a creep. Or a clinger,” he laughed for a moment, “But I, um, I couldn’t get you outta my head.”
Your entire body felt warm, “You’re sweet.”
“Sometimes,” he laughed, “Also Coco said that if I didn’t say something he would call you up and say something for me. And neither of us want that.”
You shook your head and laughed, “Right.”
There was a beat of silence, “So I’ll see you Thursday?”
“I’ll see you Thursday.”
The relief was palpable in his voice, “Alright. Have a good night, querida.”
You were thankful that he couldn’t see the cheesy grin on your face, “You too, Angel.”
You hung up the call and tossed your phone to the side as you flopped backwards onto your bed, still wrapped in your towel. You couldn’t wipe the smile off your face as you stared up at the ceiling. You covered your face with your hands, unable to remember the last time a phone call left you feeling so giddy.
As if on cue, Elena came sliding into your room, “Did I just hear you confirm a date with Angel?” her smile stretched from ear to ear, clearly thankful for the thin walls of your apartment.
You wanted to have a witty remark but you were too busy being excited. You laughed and nodded, “You did.”
“Yes!” she ran over and tackled you in a hug on the bed, “Oh this is so exciting!”
You laughed as you felt her practically vibrating with excitement for you, “What’d I just get myself into?”
“An adventure!”
You had lived through a lot of weeks that seemed to drag on, but nothing quite like the week leading up to your date with Angel. Focusing in your classes was doable, but it wasn’t easy when you could feel your phone vibrating inside your backpack with texts from Angel. It caught you by surprise that he was able to text you and keep a conversation going all day—the two of you didn’t seem to run out of things to talk about and it was refreshing.
Your work shift on Wednesday night felt like it lasted for a lot longer than six hours. You just wanted to get the day over with already so it would finally be Thursday. In all of your conversations during the week, Angel had never let slip what the plan was for your date the following night. It was a little maddening but you also couldn’t deny that you liked the slight mystery of it all. He had done you the courtesy of letting you know that you wouldn’t have to dress up for it.
“You sure you’re not just setting me up to be super underdressed?” you asked while you talked on the phone with him Thursday afternoon.
He laughed, “That’d be funny, but I promise I’m not doing that.”
“Hmm,” you held the phone loosely in your hand while you pulled random tops out of your closet, “I don’t know if I believe you.”
“No trust,” his smile was audible.
“Don’t take it so personally,” you chuckled.
“You worry too much, querida,” he laughed, “You’ll look great no matter what. I’ll see you in a few hours, alright?”
“Alright, I’ll see you in a bit.”
The two of you said a quick goodbye and you tossed your phone aside with a sigh. Being told to wear whatever for a date felt like a trap. You had a number of shirts laid out in front of you, taking over your bed. Part of you wanted to do the unthinkable and ask Elena for fashion advice, but you weren’t sure you were ready for everything that might entail, especially if it was supposed to be casual.
You mulled over your choices for a minute too long, though. She was walking by to go to the kitchen when she saw you standing in your leggings and bra, looking over your choices. She poked her head in and cleared her throat louder than necessary.
“Can I weigh in?”
“Would me saying no even matter?”
“Nope!” she laughed as she walked over and looked at the shirts on your bed, “Where you guys going?”
You shrugged helplessly, “No clue—he won’t tell me. He just said that I could wear whatever I want, whatever I’m comfortable in. Said it’s nothing fancy,” you paused, “Should I believe him?”
She nodded, “Yea, I don’t think he’d lie about that,” she tapped her chin, seemingly deep in thought, “The red top is cute, plus it’ll look nice with the leggings.”
“Yea?”
“Yea,” she picked it up and handed it to you, “He’s gonna think you’re hot regardless of what you wear. As he should,” she chuckled.
You had to laugh as you pulled the shirt on over your head, “Thank you.”
She left you to your own devices after her initial piece of advice. You knew that you were getting ready way ahead of schedule, and that realistically all you were going to do was sit and wait and let yourself get more jittery than necessary. But now that you had started getting ready it was hard to distract yourself and kill time until Angel came to get you.
You took longer than necessary with your hair and makeup solely to try and keep yourself busy for as long as possible. Every few minutes you looked over and checked the time on your phone, each time disappointed that more time hadn’t gone by. You drummed your fingernails on the surface of your dresser, trying to think of ways to fill the remaining time before Angel showed up to pick you up.
“You can come out here and help me with laundry if you’re that bored,” you heard Elena call from the living room with a laugh, “I can hear your fingernails from here.”
You laughed but caved and made your way out to her, finding a spot on the couch next to her in the mess of unfolded, clean clothes. She tossed you a shirt and you shook your head as you began to fold and stack with her, glad to have a menial task to fill the time and keep you from going too insane.
The two of you were wrapped up in a conversation, and you had completely lost track of the time, when you heard a knock at the door. Your eyes grew wide and you checked the time on your phone, cursing under your breath as you stood up. You asked Elena to go and answer the door while you went to find a pair of shoes to wear.
You could hear the two of them chatting and laughing as you grabbed a cute pair of sneakers that had gotten shoved underneath your bed at some point. You were pulling it over the heel of your foot, hopping down the hallway towards the living room where Angel stood waiting for you.
You felt your eyes go wide as you looked at him. He looked like a completely different man without his kutte on for some reason. He just had a plain black t-shirt on with his jeans and work boots, but for some reason you felt all of your words get caught in your throat.
“You look great,” he said with a smile, “You ready to go?”
You nodded, “Yea, yea I’m good.”
You walked over and were following him out the door when Elena caught you gently by the arm, “Relax. Have a good time. If you need to bail just text me and I’ll totally call with a fake emergency.”
You laughed, “I don’t think that’ll be necessary, but thank you.”
“Text me when you get there,” she gave you a quick hug goodbye.
“Will do. Love you.”
“Love you too,” she waved and shut the door after you.
You met Angel in the lobby of your apartment building. He looked over at you with a smile, “All good?”
You nodded, “All good. Elena was just making sure I still had my pepper spray.”
“I’ll never know peace with you two around, will I?”
You laughed, shaking your head, “Not at all.”
“You up for another ride on the bike? Or was the first ride too traumatizing for you?”
You rolled your eyes, “I’ll be fine.”
Handing over his helmet with a smile, Angel climbed onto his bike and waited for you to hop on behind him. You got situated, arms wrapping around him much more comfortably this time around. You rested your chin on top of his shoulder for a moment, a smile creeping across your face.
“So do I get to know what we’re doing, yet?”
“Nope,” he shook his head with a laugh, “Hang on tight, Y/N.”
The way your name rolled off his tongue left butterflies in your stomach, but you didn’t get too much time to think about it as he peeled away from the curb and took off down the street. Besides the roar of his motorcycle, your laughter was the only thing that either of you could hear as he tore down the street. You could feel his body shake slightly with laughter beneath your arms as he drove.
The streetlights blurred as the two of you raced by them. Even if the city was whipping by you at race-like speeds, you had to admit that there was something beautiful about all of it. Despite the fact that there was no pausing to look at anything for too long, flying past dimly-lit storefronts in your sleepy little town felt like an adventure all its own when you found yourself latched to Angel.
Your ride didn’t last nearly long enough. As excited as you were to get to the next part of your date, you could’ve spent the whole evening just doing that. He rolled into the driveway of a house, one that you had to assume was his. You couldn’t hide the fact that you were surprised as he parked the bike and hopped off, holding out his hands to help you do the same.
You hung the helmet off the handlebar as you looked back and forth between Angel and his house. He saw the slight look of confusion on your face and chuckled, “Everything alright?”
You laughed, trying to play it off, “Yea, just figured you’d take me to dinner before you tried to take me home.”
He shook his head as he gently rested his hand on the small of your back and guided you up the driveway, “It’s a one-stop shop, baby,” he couldn’t contain his laughter at the way you rolled your eyes at him, “Nah but I know you said you really don’t like going out and doing shit around people. Figured this might be more your speed?”
Your face got hot for a moment and you nodded, “Thank you.”
“It ain’t much,” Angel said as he unlocked the door, “But the kitchen works which is the most important thing.”
You chuckled and nodded in agreement as you followed him into his house. Once you slipped out of your shoes you looked around, trying to get a feel for what you were walking into. You had the feeling that he put a little extra effort into straightening up the place given the current circumstances. Even so, his house still felt very much like a home. It wasn’t overly cluttered, but there were a good number of photos on the walls, along with more than a couple bookshelves that were filled to the brim in the living room, taking up wall space on either side of his television.
“I prepped most of it,” Angel said as he walked over to the kitchen, “Just gotta put it together. Shouldn’t take too long. You can snoop around while you wait if you want,” there was a knowing smirk on his face.
You laughed, “There’ll be plenty of time for snooping. I’m much more interested to see what you can do in the kitchen.”
“You think I can’t cook?”
“It’s not one of the first skills I would’ve assumed you had, no.”
“No fuckin’ trust,” he laughed.
You found yourself leaning against the counter, watching him as he started pulling everything together for dinner. You had to admit that you were impressed by his culinary skills. For a man who didn’t come off as someone who spent a whole lot of time in the kitchen, he seemed to have a pretty good idea of what he was doing. Or if he didn’t, he was good at faking it.
“You should keep your fingers curled a little more,” you commented as you watched him start to slice the items laid out on the cutting board.
“What?” he looked over at you.
“Yea, like this, lemme show you,” you took the knife from him and showed him the proper way to keep your fingers bent, “That way you won’t accidentally cut the tips of your fingers off. Keeping them intact will probably make it easier to ride, yea?”
He chuckled as he took the knife back from you, “Maybe.”
That was the last time you interjected into his process unless he asked you to grab something out of the fridge or one of the cabinets for him. It was peaceful, comfortable, moving around the kitchen with him.
“You want to pick a movie to watch with dinner?” he asked as he was finishing things up on the stove.
“Sure! You’re not gonna cut off any fingers while I’m gone, are you?”
“I think I’ll be alright. I made it this many years and I still got all ten.”
You laughed as you walked into the living room and plopped down on the couch. You scrolled through what Netflix was recommending for him, trying to get a good gauge on what you should be choosing. This definitely felt like it was a little bit of a test.
“Sorry if there’s weird shit popping up on there,” he chuckled, “Coco uses mine and his interests are…unique.”
You laughed, “So that’s your story?”
“And I’m sticking to it,” he smiled at you as he brought over two plates, setting them down on the coffee table before disappearing back into the kitchen to grab drinks for the two of you.
Dinner was much better than you initially thought it was going to be. He was certainly a man that was full of surprises. You had to admit that you were surprised at how comfortable you felt around him, especially in his own house. He was making a conscious effort to try and be as open and inviting as possible, and it was working.
Once you were both done eating, you found yourself nestled up against his side, his arm draped around your shoulders. His thumb traced lightly back and forth as his eyes stayed focused on the movie. You tried to stay focused, but it was difficult. You reached and draped your arm across his stomach while you laid against him and you felt him chuckle.
“Comfortable?”
You looked up at him with a smile, “Yea. You?”
He gave you a light squeeze, “Yea.”
The two of you fell silent for a few minutes before Angel started his own commentary about what was going on in the movie. You had to laugh, shaking your head as he successfully ruined every serious moment. It was obvious that both of you had seen the film before, because you were both cracking jokes about it.
When the credits started to roll, Angel looked down at you with a smile, “Thanks for doing this with me.”
You sat upright, “Of course. No need to thank me—I’ve been looking forward to this all week.”
“Hopefully it lived up to your expectations?”
You nodded, “Surpassed them for sure. Like I said, I didn’t think you could cook,” you laughed.
He chuckled and shook his head as he stood up, collecting your plates, “Y’know sometimes you can just be nice.”
You watched him, trying to ignore the butterflies taking over your stomach, “But where’s the fun in that?”
He walked back over, standing by the couch with a smile tugging at the edges of his mouth. You could see that there were a lot of thoughts running around his brain. “We can totally watch part 2, which was basically made to be made fun of, unless you wanna get going—”
“No,” you cut him off, biting your lip lightly at how eager you knew you sounded, “I’m in no rush, really. I’ll totally stay and talk shit for a few more hours.”
He smiled as he sat back down next to you, motioning for you to come and curl back up against his side again, “Sounds good to me.”
Your hand was resting against his chest as you laughed at a stupid joke he’d just made. You felt his hand come to rest over yours, completely enveloping it for a moment. It sent a wave of warmth throughout your entire body. You almost didn’t realize what was happening as he lifted your hand and pressed a kiss to your knuckles. Your entire face started to get hot as you looked up at him. There was a smirk on his face and you knew that he knew exactly what he was doing to you, even if you didn’t want to give him that kind of satisfaction.
“Can I kiss you?” he asked.
You smiled, finding yourself biting back a laugh as you nodded, “Yea, I think I’ll allow that.”
He laughed, “I did cook you dinner like you asked, right?”
You rolled your eyes, smile still taking over your features, “Don’t make me change my mind.”
“Right, right,” he gently cupped your face in his hand and pulled your lips to his.
Almost instantly you felt yourself melting into him. Your hand still rested on his chest and you could feel how quickly his heart was beating. You smiled into the kiss as you felt his thumb glide gently across your cheek while his lips moved against yours.
Without giving it much of a second thought, you shifted yourself so that you were in his lap, straddling him. His arms fell naturally around your waist, keeping you pulled tight against his chest. Your hands rested on either side of his neck, fingertips tracing along his jawline as he continued to deepen your kiss, biting lightly at your bottom lip.
You pulled away to catch your breath, your lips mere centimeters away from his. Your entire body felt like it was on fire and you couldn’t remember the last time someone had made you feel that way from just a kiss.
He let out a breathy laugh as his hand ran up and down your back, “You’re somethin’ else, Y/N.”
“You don’t even know the half of it,” you laughed as you leaned back, trailing your fingers lightly through his beard.
He lifted and easily shifted you so that you were draped across his lap, curled up into his chest. One hand rested on your side while the other landed on your knee. He pressed a kiss to your forehead, “I’m more than willing to find out if you’ll let me.”
You smiled up at him, “I just might.”

Part one, no real warnings yet. Enjoy!
Bakugou's personal phone rings from the pocket of his hero costume for the umpteenth causing his skin to pop. All the while Kirishima allows his ruby gaze to fall over the hot head, having a good guess about just who is blowing up his phone. Worry snatches at Kirishima's heart for a moment forcing the question from his lips, even if it meant regretting it.
"Are you sure your mom is okay?" Bakugou freezes in his step, inclining his head to fix a garnet glare at his so called friend. He sucks in a breath to yell, body tense and in a fighting stance before his phone blares again.
"FUCK!" He shouts into the night with only Kirishima and the moon to hear. The trees swallow his frustration as he rips his phone from his pocket, answering it so harshly the LCD beneath the screen ruptures.
"What?! What the fuck do you want you God Damn hag?! I'm WORKING! Saving LIVES!" It had been a long time since he had called his mother hag, long enough there was silence on the other line for a moment.
Then much like her son she takes a deep breath and now Kirishima, the moon and the trees know why Mitsuki was calling at such a late hour. Kirishima sighs with relief nothing is so dire as life and death, although for Mitsuki it is.
"IF YOU DON'T BRING THIS GHOST OF A GIRLFRIEND OF YOURS I SWEAR TO KAMISAMI THERE WILL BE NO MORE NUMBER ONE HERO WHEN IM THROUGH WITH YOU. IM GETTING OLD I NEED FUCKING GRANDKIDS. THINK OF YOUR SWEET OLD FATHER HE AIN'T GETTING ANY FUCKING YOUNGER!"
"That's what this was about?! Ma for the last fucking time I don't-"
"You don't what? One of those hoes you sleep with has to like even your rude ass. Bring a decent one home." And with that Bakugou is left with the sound of three tones and a ringing in his ear. He grips the bridge of his nose, having no earthly idea of how to get his mother off of his back, let alone find a woman. The phone rings in his hand again, the screen filled with dead pixels and rainbow lines causing him hot to be able to see. Somehow it registers his touch as he goes from memory to answer.
"What you fucking hag?!" He screams into the receiver.
"Wow. Rude." You reply with a bite, "Just calling to tell you boss that I'm clocking out, dickhead."
"I-I thought you were my mom."
"Oh and that makes it better?" What an ass!
"Fuck you." He growls, looking at Kirishima's watch, "You're clocking out way too early."
"No, fuck you. I requested to be off by this time MONTHS ago. You can ask Eijirou-san, you approved it so he made the schedule accordingly." You quip, twirling one of your knives in your hands, "Besides I've been working waaay too long today. Oh and I found that perp hours ago."
"What the fuck?! Why didn't you tell me hours ago?"
"I fucking tried, you ignored my call. This was my third attempt." You slam the knife through the paperwork on your desk wishing it were the hot head's thigh. You rise as your eyes glance over the clock. If you didn't hurry this stupid phone call up, you were going to be late. You needed to sneak in before midnight.
"Still too early for you. Normally you want the OT." He bites, causing you to roll your eyes.
Gods you hated this guy.
"Yea, well tonight is different." You'd pay in the long run for leaving so soon but tonight was special. She asked you to be there the last time you saw her and you promised.
You never break a fucking promise.
"Some subordinate you are bitch face." He growls then an idea pops into his head.
Subordinate.
As in you reported to him, as in Bakugou Katsuki was your boss. And well you had to listen to your boss to some extent and he knew you needed money, you tell him day in and day out it's the only  reason you would even dream to work with him.
Although he has no idea why you are so hard out for cash.
So he sets the bait, offering you a deal you can't refuse.
"Tomorrow is your planned day off right?"
"Yea what fucking of it?!"
"I've got a special mission for you-"
"No." You interrupt, already feeling the exhaustion of your seventy hour work week stacking up.
"You didn't even let me finish you ungrateful brat. It will be three times your pay for half a day's work. Cold hard cash." The other side of the line goes silent. Licking your lips you think over his offer, fuck, that would actually help get your head above water.
The light at the end of the tunnel.
If only you knew how dark this tunnel was going to be.
"Fine. I'll take your stupid fucking offer."
"Promise?" His voice sounds a bit different, a little bit of a tease to it, as if he knows something you don't.
"What are we in kindergarten. Yea I promise, fucking headass." With that you hang up, rushing down the steps of the agency building and into the cold air.
Your phone buzzes with a text
BakaBoss: Meet me at the agency, 11am sharp.
You roll your eyes, turning your phone to silent as you watch the nightly set of nurses do their normal routine. Barely making it in time for the security guard and head nurse to make their way outside by the one way back door for a smoke. Both too lazy to walk around to the front of the hospital, sticking a thin splintering wood block between the jam and the door, giving you easy access to the stairwell. When they were far enough away you slip into the door, sure to place the wood where they left it before climbing the stairs two at a time, racing the clock at the top half of the 11th hour. The janitor would have already mopped her floor and the only nurse on floor six was currently on the ground level half way through the small tobacco stick, she wouldn't be sticking her head into room 609 anytime soon.
You draw in a deep breath, collecting yourself and forcing back the tears as you picked the lock, a skill set that not only were you amazing at but the very same skill that landed you here.
And by here you mean stupid ass hero work all thanks to some "reforming" program by Izuku Miydoria. Still it was better than having to break out of jail in order to make cash, her bills weren't going to pay themself.
You stick a stolen credit card in between the door jab and the door, right at the locking mechanism, although you could break out of just about anywhere, this would be the faster method of escape.
"Hey, sis, I made it!" You say softly but with excitement, watching as she keeps her back to you. Her eyes wide from a mixed cocktail of chemicals and trauma, she stares out into the sky, counting the stars.
It would be one of those nights where she was too warped to tell you were there. With a sigh you sink onto her mattress. If you could even fucking call it that. It was more like a box spring with a fitted sheet over top of it, you were still figuring out how you could sneak a mattress in.
"I got you something." You say crawling to sit next to her cross legged, she turns to you and it's like looking in a mirror. Except one of you is covered in visible scars and the other is not. Hers are more than skin deep. Seeing her dull gaze never gets any easier, she stares through you for a long time before she does as she always does.
Lifting her hand gently to cup your cheek so her thumb can slide over your scar.
"How'd you get this?" Her voice is barely hers and it grabs a fist full of your guts pulling them downward. Everytime she asks that question you see the shine of a blade, a swipe of a strong hand and vision filled with blood.
Yours, there's but never hers. You like to tell yourself that's what counts but maybe you had a hand in breaking her.
You clear your throat, pulling a bag onto your lap.
"Nevermind that." You gently guide her hand away from your cheek and to her lap. When she makes no motion for the gift bag you force a smile as icy guilt collects in your chest.
"It's for our birthday silly! Can you believe we are 26 today?" You place the pillow on her lap and her hands slowly go to the plush material.
For a moment she has returned, flashing you a smile as she pushing into the soft material before she flickers out again. Like a light with just enough current to wink in and out of existence.
Time passes and the clock strikes midnight, white clad shoes stomp against the polished floor signaling it was time to leave.
"I'll try to see you soon okay?" You lean over kissing her hairline before grabbing at the old, flat pillow. Shoving it into the gift bag as you silently bound the room. Pushing the door open slightly as you slip the stolen card into the back pocket of your black jeans.  With that you are down the hall and through the backdoor without raising any sort of alarm as usual.
Suddenly your phone weighs heavy in your pocket as you think of what kind of stupid errand that asshole was going to put you on. The stolen card sings in your pocket, begging to be used. So you slip into a bar to give it a good use.
&*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*
A blaring alarm yanks you from the bed in a sweating panic. Knife instinctively slashing the air before you send the blade into yet another digital alarm clock. Falling back into the mattress for just a moment's peace.
That peace doesn't last long once you show up at the agency. If anything is sours as you see Bakugou leaning against the bright white brick and in civilian clothes no less.
"What's this?" You pick at his black dress shirt, his sleeves rolled up to his elbows, showcasing his banded forearms.  He's paired it with a pair of black jeans, one knee ripped. Oddly it looks good together. Not overly dressed nor too dressed down. His vermilion eyes glide over your figure in your black body con hero suit. He sucks his teeth, hating this next part.
"Called clothes dumbass. Speaking of we need to get you something fitting."
"For what? What exactly is this 'mission'?"
"I'll debrief you later. Right now we need to get you new clothes." You laugh in his face before your rich expression turns deadly
"With what money?"
"Calm down, it's my treat Princess." He says with satire, the name sits odd on his tongue and even more odd in your stomach. He snatches at your wrist, "Come on before the stores get crowded and we get noticed."
You find yourself in a shop filled with dresses and fancy blouses. All of which you hate. Bakugou seems to hate them too, too guady for his taste. Still he shifts through the soft silks because he knows his mother will love it.
"Oi, you can't find a single decent thing here? I thought women loved shopping."
"Yea for shit we like asshole." You hiss to him, having only found a pair of dark blue jean's.
"Heh." He scoffs, rolling his eyes until he finds the perfect top. It looks decent and it could be your style. The one thing he learned about being undercover was to not stray too far from what looked natural or from the truth.
"Put this on. While I find a necklace." He shoves the silky top into your hands and you look at the price tag. Suddenly anxiety burns in the soles of your feet soaring up to close your throat.
"Bakugou. This is too much." Katsuki stops to glance over his shoulder, this is the first time you've used his name since he hired you three years ago. He sees your hand gripping at your bicep and he watches the rare tell sign that you're nervous as you chew on one of the scars that creeps onto your lip. He comes up to you, closer than he ever has been before, your senses flood with spiced caramel.
"Oi." His voice is smooth, almost soft as he touches a ringed index finger to your forearm. You fixate on the shining black ring and your old habits have you thinking of six different ways to get it off of his finger. The thought soothes you as much as his voice surprisingly does.
"I said I'm buying, remember you brat?" The teasing returns back to his voice before it turns gruff, "Now go change to make sure I like it. I'll be back in a second."
A woman unlocks a small dressing room for you and once inside you hold your breath. Counting as you remind yourself that you cannot and will not steal anything of value while your boss was here.
If you were any other person you would tap this Prohero's account dry, really rack up that platinum card you know sat in his wallet and sell the clothes marked up for a profit later.
But even as much as you hated Bakugou, you couldn't bring yourself to do it.
Instead you slip into the the outfit adjusting yourself this way in that as the neckline says enough without saying too much. The jeans curving against your figure in such a way doing as good as a job as your hero suit. You keep your steel toed boots as you step into the small hall with the three mirrors. As you turn this way and that Bakugou appears behind you, almost earning a knife to his gut. He forces the silver blade away before pulling out a necklace from a bag he just bought.  The gold chain is dainty, going through the top of the garnet making it seen as if it were a suspended droplet of blood.
It marches the eyes that roll over you as he takes a step back before his harsh mouth breathes out a word.
"Fuck."
Instantly it kills your mood as your lip pulls back over sharp teeth.
"Tsk. It's not that bad, God how do you get any pussy." You grumble, smoothing down the black blouse.
"No, dumbass. You look...you look perfect." He stares into your eyes through the mirror, his smile growing wider as they wander over your scars and finally land onto that minimalistic drop pendant necklace.
Over something you've never been able to have, something you always had to swipe from an unsuspecting neck and then pawn.
"Now. I'm going to tell you here, in this store of crowded people so you don't cause a scene."
"What?!" Anger already begins to bubble in your blood. The blades that kiss your flesh start to scream for relief.
"From now on you have to pretend to be my girlfriend. Paparazzi are starting to swarm outside of this fucking boutique and my mom follows this particular trash tabloid since they love to use me as click bait. You just have to make it through dinner tonight and if shit goes south I'll pay you even more."

It’s A Love Story - Part 3
Tumblr media
Part 2
"What the hell Frank," (YN) heard Ray shout from where she was sitting on the steps in front of the school, digging through her backpack. Her head snapped up as she looked between them, trying to figure out what was happening.
"What did I do?" He asked defensively.
"Tucker just told me he delivered a pizza to you on Friday night, and he saw girls shoes and a purse by the door. You lied about being sick to go on a date?!"
(YN)'s eyes wide as panic ran through her. She hadn't seen Tucker, she was in the living room, so there couldn't have been any way he would have seen her. Ray would have said if he knew it was her, right? Tucker would have surely told her brothers.
"You got a girlfriend?!" Mikey asked, clearly surprised.
"Umm, yea, I do," Frank answered, rubbing the back of his neck nervously.
"Why didn't you tell us?" Gerard asked.
"Who is she?" Ray asked, not even giving him time to answer the last question.
"She doesn't go here," Frank lied.
"Is she cute?" (YN) finally piped up, a wicked smile on her face.
"She's gorgeous," Frank replied emphatically and (YN) grinned even wider.
"Are we gonna meet her sometime?" Gerard asked.
"I dunno, maybe, if she wants."
"What's her name?" Mikey asked.
Frank opened his mouth to answer and (YN) was genuinely curious to see how he was going to respond when the bell rang, signaling that they had five minutes to get to their homerooms.
"I'll tell ya later," Frank replied as they all made their way into the school.
(YN) hung back and Frank slowed down so he could walk with her. "Saved by the bell," she smirked.
"Who knew Tucker was fuckin Sherlock Holmes," he muttered and (YN) laughed.
“What name were you gonna give them?”
“Yours,” he smirked.
“Stop it,” she said, smacking his arm and he laughed.
“I’ll see ya in algebra,” he said before heading down the hall. (YN) watched him go and sighed. One day they’d all know she was the girl at Frank’s house. One day she’d be able to kiss him before they parted ways. One day couldn’t come soon enough.
~
A few weeks passed, and (YN) was still living for the thrill of being with Frank. There were small moments like (YN) coming out to the garage to watch the band, or rather Frank, practice, to them spending more time doing homework together, to Frank taking her hand as they sat next to each other during the weekly movie night, even though her brothers were right there. Then there were the more exciting moments, like when she found Frank between the shelves, deep in the library.
“Hey,” she whispered, making him jump.
“Shit, oh hey (YN)," he grinned. "What are you doing here?”
“I'm in study hall, but I came to get some books for my research project for history. I saw Mikey up front and he said your English class was in here so," she shrugged, leaning against the shelf.
"You thought you'd come find me in the stacks?" He smirked.
"I thought I'd come find my books for my research project. Come on Frank, what did you think was gonna happen?" She replied with a smirk of her own.
Frank glanced over his shoulder, before grabbing her waist and kissing her hard. (YN)'s mind began to spin, partially because of how amazing the kiss was, but also because her brother was also in the library. Hell, anyone could wander over and find them making out. It'd take all of a minute for the entire school to find out. And (YN) loved it.
She ran her hands through his hair, as they made out against the historical fiction books until they heard footsteps and they pulled apart and both turned their attention to the books. Whoever it was, kept walking, not even slowing down to do more than glance their way.
“Close one,” Frank whispered.
“Mmhmm,” she agreed, stealing a look out of the corner of her eye.
“Kinda awesome.”
“Oh yea,” she giggled.
That afternoon at lunch, (YN) was at her usual spot with the guys, minus Mikey. Ray and Gerard had been practically bouncing out of their seats, clearly having news to share.
“Where is Mikey?” Ray asked, looking around anxiously.
“I dunno, but I’ll fill him in later,” Gerard said. “Let’s just tell ‘em!”
“There’s a battle of the bands coming up and we’re signed up!” Ray announced.
Frank, Bob, and (YN) all exchanged a look of surprise.
“Wait, when is it?” Frank asked.
“Next month!” Gerard grinned.
Bob put his head in his hands. “We have so much more practicing to do.”
“I think we got a real shot!” Ray explained. “And when we win, we get prize money and  real studio time to record an album!”
“We’ll be taking off in no time!” Gerard nodded.
“Can I help?” (YN) asked.
Before anyone could answer, Mikey walked into the cafeteria with a cute blonde girl.
"See ya there Mikey," the blonde waved before going off to join her friends and Mikey had a smug smile on his face.
"About time!" Ray said.
“What was all that about?” Gerard asked.
"Me and Kristin are going to the fall formal together."
“Oh nice,” Gerard replied.
(YN) almost choked on her sandwich. "Wait, what?! That's not fair! I wanted to go to fall formal!"
"Who's stopping you?" Mikey replied.
"You and Gee! When you two, the least intimidating nerds at this school, somehow convinced the entire male population to stay away from me!"
She could feel people were starting to look at her as her voice raised with every word but she didn't care. She was angry and sick of how she'd been treated.
"Just go with Christine and Marie," she heard Gerard say, and she began to see red.
"I don’t want to because they have dates and I don't want to be a third wheel!" She snapped. "The double standards in this family are such BULLSHIT!"
"Miss Way!" Mrs. Simon barked. “The office, now!”
(YN) felt her cheeks burning red and her shoulders slumped in defeat as almost everyone in the cafeteria started laughing at her while she was marched down to the office by the teacher. She sighed in frustration at yet another way her brothers were ruining everything for her.
~
A few hours later the school day was over and (YN) reported to detention.
"Is this your first time in detention?" The teacher, Mr. Rodriguez, asked as she slid into the desk and she nodded. "Ok. The rules are there is no talking, you may do your homework, read, or sit silently."
(YN) wondered who she would even talk to since the room was empty. She pulled a folder out of her backpack and was about to get started on her homework when someone else walked into the room.
"Mr. Iero, please take a seat, you know the rules," she heard the teacher say. She looked up to see Frank coming to sit down at the desk next to hers.
"Hey," he whispered.
She grinned and then turned her attention back to her homework. They both worked silently until the teacher announced he would be right back.
"He's gonna be gone at least 10 minutes," Frank said once the door was closed.
"How do you know?"
"He's taking a smoke break."
"Oh, right. Well what are you doing here?"
"I couldn't let my girl go through her first detention alone," he smiled.
(YN) covered her face, partially because she was blushing, and partially because she was embarrassed to be in detention in the first place. "What did you do to be here anyway?"
"I threw a ball at Mikey's head during gym."
(YN) could hardly stifle her laughter. "Oh my god, were you playing dodgeball?"
"No, soccer."
(YN) burst out laughing, thankful Mr. Rodriguez was not in the room. "Thanks for that."
"He deserved it," Frank nodded.
"I agree,” she grinned.
When they walked out of the school almost an hour later, (YN)'s mom was sitting in her car waiting to pick her up. "Ugh, I can't wait to get grounded."
"Maybe it won't be that bad?" Frank said sympathetically as they walked down the steps.
"Hello Frankie, did you wait for (YN)?" Her mom called out the open car window.
"No, I had detention too," he shrugged.
"Oh," her mom seemed taken aback. "Well would you like a ride home?"
"Please," (YN) whispered, hoping to delay the trouble she was certain to get into.
"Sure, thanks!" He nodded, getting in the backseat.
"That Mrs. Simon said this wasn't your first outburst this year, (YN)," her mom said as they started to head home.
"Yea, I know."
"That's not like you," her mom replied, more concerned than angry.
"I know," she muttered, head against the window.
"No one asked me, but I think Gerard and Mikey should back off," Frank piped up from the backseat.
"What do you mean Frankie?"
"Don't worry about it," (YN) mumbled.
"They're too protective of her. I know she's a girl, and the youngest, even if it's just by a few minutes, but they don't need to treat her like every single guy is a predator," he explained.
"Did something happen?" Her mom asked, now very concerned.
"No, some guy in Gee’s class was talking to me at that pool party this summer and Gee freaked out. It doesn't matter, the social damage is done. I don't even care anymore."
"Do you want me to talk to them?"
"No, I don't wanna make it worse. Just let me handle it," (YN) answered.
The rest of the drive was silent until they arrived at Frank's house. "See you tomorrow," he said, reaching forward to rub (YN)'s arm sympathetically before getting out.
"He's a good boy," her mom said as they started back toward their house and (YN) hummed in quiet agreement. "And that necklace he bought you for your birthday is lovely."
(YN) didn't even realize she was playing with it until her mom drew her attention to it. "Yea," she agreed.
"If you ask me, I think he likes you, I've always thought that."
(YN) blushed. "Don't tell anyone, but I know he does."
"Because you like him too?" Her mom asked. (YN) nodded as they pulled into the driveway. "I'll keep it our little secret."
"So am I in trouble for getting detention?"
Her mom laughed lightly. "No, but don't let it happen again. If you want to yell at your brothers, wait until you're home."
"Will do," she nodded, a relieved smile crossing her face.
(YN) didn’t say anything to either of her brothers that night at dinner, eating quickly before running back up to her room. It still wasn’t fair that she got in trouble, or that Mikey could date whoever he wanted to and she couldn’t. She curled up in bed with her sketch book, and tried to let her frustrations come out through her pencil.
"Hey," she heard Mikey say from her doorway after a while.
"Go away," she muttered, not even looking up until something landed at the foot of the bed. It was her favorite candy bar.
"Sorry for being an ass," he said.
"Whatever," she said, grabbing the candy, but still not even looking his way.
"Did you hear what Frank did?"
"Gave you what you deserve," she replied.
"I guess you could say that, but we’re just looking out for you."
She glared at him. "I'm not that fragile Mikey! I can handle myself, now go away!"
“Sorry,” he muttered as he retreated back to his room next door.
(YN) got up and slammed her door and settled back onto her bed when there was another knock.
“Oh my god, leave me alone!” (YN) shouted, but the door opened anyway.
“Can we talk?” Gerard asked, peaking in.
“No! Go away!” She said getting up to push the door shut, but Gerard was stronger than her.
“I’m sorry! I was thinking about how you said you wanna help with the band, and I was wondering if you’d design our logo for us, and maybe like some shirts or something?”
(YN) stopped pushing on the door. “Wait, really?”
“Yea, like when we win this thing, we’re gonna need some merch to sell to help get our name out there, and posters for gigs, stuff like that,” Gerard shrugged.
“Yea, I guess I could try,” she nodded.
“And I know Mikey tried to apologize, but didn’t do a good job of it. We just didn’t want a guy like Adam to get a chance to do anything, because then people would start talking and-”
“Hang on,” (YN) cut him off. “This isn’t the Regency era, I don’t need my older brothers telling me who I can and cannot spend time with, out of fear that I’ll disgrace the family!”
“That’s not it! I just… I just feel like it’s my duty to protect you. You and Mikey both, but it’s different with you because you’re a girl and I’ve seen the way the guys look at you and I can imagine what they’re thinking and it’s gross and it makes me mad.”
(YN) sighed. "I just wish that if you felt like making a decision in my best interest, you’d actually ask me what I want first."
"Sorry," Gerard mumbled.
"Doesn't do much good now, but whatever," she shrugged.
Gerard stepped back from the door, and she shut it behind him. It didn't really matter, she had Frank, but it was the principle of the matter that still left her steaming.

Family Affair
Tumblr media
Pairing: Ransom DrysdalexBlack Reader
⚠️: Harsh words from a very despicable family, fluff
“No, absolutely not.”
“Ransom come on-,”
“I said no and that’s my final answer,” he states attempting to return his attention to the newspaper in his hands until you pull it from his grasp. Standing in front of him with arms crossed, he sighs knowing you were far from letting the topic go.
“Ransom I’m not saying you have to give away the Beemer. I’m just saying we might want to look into getting a more family friendly car that a child can actually fit in comfortably.”
“What about your car? It’s fine.”
“You’re right it is. But poopie isn’t always going to be with me, which is why your car should also be safe for them.”
“You know, we’ve been going back and forth about this yet we haven’t even asked the person who’s gonna be riding in the car,” he replies scooting forward, gently grabbing your sides coming closer to your recently visible bump. “What do you say? You think daddy should retire the Beemer?”
Ear pressed against your stomach, you fail trying to hide your giggle as he pretends to listen to your unborn child.
“They said that they see nothing wrong with daddy’s car. Oh and they would rather you not call them poopie.”
“Fine Ransom, do whatever you want about the car,” you sigh giving back his crumpled paper before moving to step over his leg. You feel his grip tighten as you’re brought down to sit on his lap and his lips peck your neck.
“Alright alright, if it’ll make you like me again I’ll look into another car. I’m telling you now though, I’d walk everywhere before I buy a minivan.”
“I wouldn’t expect anything less,” you laugh. “There is something else I want to talk to you about though.”
“Hmm?”
“...I think it’s time to tell your parents.”
His body tenses under you and jaw clenches as he now focuses on your stomach with thumb gliding back and forth over your belly button. Every time you brought up anything dealing with his family that tended to be his reaction, silence paired with an unspoken disdain as if you mentioned his worse enemy.
“Y/N you know how I feel about that.”
“I know but it’s their first grandchild-,”
“It could be their 10th grandchild and I still wouldn’t want them near us.”
“I just don’t want them feel like they missed out on anything and then get even more pissed.” Hands caressing his face, you kiss his lips before meeting his intense blue eyes.
“See how you’re thinking about their feelings? Actually being a decent human being who’s caring and beautiful inside and out? They’re nothing like that and exactly why I don’t want you, or our child, in the same room as them.”
“I get you’re looking out for us, but I’m a big girl. I can handle myself.”
“I’m not saying you can’t but Y/N, I’m telling you my family is not the kind where you can warm their cold hearts like some kids movie. I just hope you fully get that.”
“I’m not expecting them to join hands and break out in song like they’re straight out the sound of music. I just want them to know Ransom,” you answer.
He still didn’t want to do it, but he could see your point. The least you both could do was let them know so they couldn’t turn things back on you saying you hid their grandchild from them. Releasing a long breath through his nostrils, he lowers your hands kissing the inside of your wrists.
“Okay, we’ll tell them. But that’s all they need to know.”
“Okay, and you try not to worry,” you smile resting your forehead against his. “Everything’s gonna be fine.”
“For both of your sakes, I hope you’re right,” he responds rubbing your belly.
———
The entire car ride to his grandfather’s estate, Ransom was quiet staring straight ahead at the road. He was irritable the whole morning as he trudged back and forth throughout the house getting himself ready. This followed in the car where he simply turned on the radio not uttering a word and leaving you watching the autumn trees pass outside. You know it was all due to his nerves for what was to come and wished there was something you could say to instantly reassure him. Instead though, you simply took his free hand in yours kissing his knuckles.
It was a small gesture, but you wanted to show him you were there.
“Thank you,” he speaks just above a whisper gently squeezing your hand back before placing it on your thigh. Soon after, an older yet well kept looking house became closer in sight causing you to awe in its vintage beauty.
Really calling it a house wouldn’t do it justice. It was like a mini mansion with all the windows that lined the second level and reminded you of a small section of the hogwarts dormitories from the pointed rooftops.
“It’s not as great as it looks,” he says parking the car. “It creaks so loud you can probably hear it outside, gets drafty at night, and some of the furniture has that stale smell you can’t seem to get rid of no matter what you do to it.”
Guiding his chin to look at you, you lean closer capturing his lips with yours as his hand finds the back of your neck holding you close until both of you need to breathe.
“Try to relax, okay?” He nods with a soft smile letting you go so you both can make your way towards the front door.
“You’ve gotta be kidding me. It was only supposed to be my parents and grandpa, not the whole family!” It wasn’t until now being halfway to the front steps that you both noticed the extra cars near the front of the house.
“You’d think they’d respect this one wish-,”
“Hey it’s okay. Yea we have more of an audience now, but we’ll be fine. Maybe somehow this’ll work out better for us?”
“Darling you really are too naive at times,” he sarcastically smiles.
“And you can be the biggest grouch I’ve ever met, but I still love you,” you reply mimicking his expression before kissing his cheek as he chuckles.
His arm barely extended enough to reach the knob before the door swung open revealing a middle aged man with white hair and a style similar to Ransom’s from the sweater under his open fleece jacket and jeans over deck shoes.
“Good thing you still look the same after a year or else we wouldn’t know you at all,” he states with arms crossed in front of him.
“Hello father, lovely to see you too.”
“Still as sarcastic as ever too. And who do we have here?”
“Oh I’m Y/N, nice to meet you Mr. Drysdale,” you sweetly smile holding out your hand which he shakes with an amused look painted on his face.
“So this is the special guest we’ve been waiting on,” he grins. “And please call me Richard.”
“Speaking of I thought we agreed it was only gonna be us. Why is the whole family here?”
“Walt came by to talk business with your grandfather so of course Donna and Jacob followed behind. Joni came when she found out everyone else was here because she didn’t want to be ‘left out’,” a lady not far behind Walt in age explains, heels clicking against the hardwood as she approaches the door in her mauve colored suit looking every bit as rich as you’d imagine someone to look. “Richard are you gonna let them in or keep them outside the entire time?”
“Oh sorry, come in,” he motions stepping aside letting the both of you enter.
Although a bit cluttered with the eccentric knickknacks collected by the family over time, it was still just as beautiful inside as it was out, if not more.
“So I’m guessing you’re here to tell me you’re playing house with my son?,” she asks taking a drink from her glass.
“Um well technically yes, but-,”
“Jesus let them sit down first Linda,” Richard shakes his head leading you to the couch as Ransom follows close behind. Of course being the stranger in the house all eyes were on you as you sat down. “So Y/N, what’s your poison?”
“I’ll actually just take water, thank you.”
“Joni, Walt, Donna, Jacob, this is Ransom’s guest Y/N, Y/N these are Ransom’s aunts, his uncle, and youngest cousin,” Linda points respectively before sitting in front of you with legs crossed.
“So what do we owe the pleasure of this little visit Ransom? Need more money from Harlan to do God knows what on some private island?,” Joni chuckles sipping from her wine glass.
“Actually my business here is with my parents which has nothing to do with neither of you leeches,” Ransom quips placing an arm around your shoulder.
“Oh very classy. Y/N I may not know you, but I’d really advise you to get out from under this one as soon as you can,” Walt replies sitting on the arm of his wife’s chair.
“No ‘may not’, you don’t know her, so what makes you think you’re in the position to give her advice of any kind?”
“Okay boys enough,” Linda interjects with a raised hand. “Ransom what’s going on?”
In perfect timing, Richard walks in setting your water down in front of you before sitting in the empty chair next to a waiting Linda who seemed like the type not liking to do so.
“Go ahead,” Ransom whispers in your ear giving a reassuring nod as you sit up a bit straighter with hands clasped in your lap.
“Well, Linda and Richard, we wanted to meet with you to let you know that you’re gonna be grandparents.”
Just staring at you unimpressed with your announcement, you feel your stomach sink disappointed in their lack of enthusiasm or any reaction really.
“Here we go again,” she lowly grins swallowing the last of her brown liquor. “Listen honey you seem like a nice girl, but do you know how many of that boy’s ex’s or random hookups have come here saying the same thing expecting a check from us?”
“Unlike all of those other girls, which it was only four, she’s serious,” Ransom adds.
“Four too many if you ask me,” Joni mumbles.
“Well no one did so why are you still here?!”
“Mrs. Drysdale-,”
“It’s Linda or Mrs. Thrombey-Drysdale dear,” she corrects refilling her glass.
“Linda I’m not here looking for some handout. I just wanted the both of you to know that Ransom and I are expecting so you’d be in their life.”
“How do you know it’s his?,” Richard asks causing both you and Ransom to turn your heads looking as if he’d cursed you using every word under the sun.
“Excuse me?”
“Like Linda said, you seem like a nice girl but we have to make sure we’re not just falling for the innocent farm girl routine here.”
“Plus with you kids now and your wild live free ways, it’s a valid question I’d say,” Donna states making your blood boil to levels you’d never experienced before.
“Yes Ransom is the father. Would you like me to tell you where and when we had sex too so you can add it up yourselves?”
“Hey no need to get an attitude with us,” Walt says trying to calm an apparently offended Donna. “As you know this is a prominent family with assets we’re just trying to protect. Plus think of our patriarch. Bringing all this drama to him in his old age and with his ailments might send the poor man to the hospital.”
“Look I understand, trust me I do. But Ransom is literally right here with me which should be proof enough everything I’m saying is true.”
“And it would be if we knew Ransom wasn’t money hungry and trying to make sure his inheritance was still intact,” Linda says peering over her cup.
“I started my own writing company with the money I had left getting NOTHING MORE from grandpa. I literally said screw my inheritance before I stormed out last year and never came back!,” Ransom yells becoming more frustrated as well.
“People’s minds can change,” Jacob quietly speaks making you scoff before standing up to walk out the room.
“Oh, and before I go,” you start, lifting your sweater just enough so everyone could see your bump. “It’s a real bump. No fake belly or anything if that was the next question.” You didn’t give anyone a chance to say anything more, not even Ransom to stop you from leaving, before you rushed out the room through the kitchen to wherever your feet would guide you.
“Couldn’t leave it alone could you?,” Ransom sighs.
“Well maybe we wouldn’t have to do all that if you would’ve kept it in your pants in the past!,” Linda shouts as Ransom just shakes his head.
“All that booze is really getting to your head,” he chuckles to himself standing to his feet. “Those other girls all came by themselves, wrote letters, or emails claiming those things. Not one did I sit there with them letting them spew lies because I KNEW THEY WERE LYING!”
“Well if this one’s so different, why has it taken a year for us to meet her?!”
“BECAUSE OF THIS!! This dysfunction I’ve had to deal with that I didn’t want to subject my wife or unborn child to!”
“Wife?,” everyone asks at the same time looking as if he’d just grown a second head.
“Yes, my wife. We got married six months ago.”
“Jesus, Ransom,” Richard groans running a hand over his face. “There was a prenup involved right?”
“She offered to sign one, but I said no. Because unlike your marriage, we can trust each other.” Pushing past his father, he follows your steps through the kitchen and eventually out to the enclosed veranda hearing your sniffles.
“I know. You’re here to tell me I told you so and how being a grouch isn’t a bad thing because it avoids your feelings getting hurt,” you softly speak looking down to your belly as your hands cradle the small protrusion.
“No,” he answers sitting beside you kissing your temple. “I just came to check on you.”
“I’ve calmed down, but I just want to go home and go to bed. Oh and you were right about this place being creaky.”
“I’ve told them these floors need to be replaced,” a deep voice announces startling the both of you. The elderly man slowly makes his way to the chair across from you sighing in content as he sits down. “So I hear a new member of the family will be joining us soon.”
“Yea, around May or June. Grandpa this Y/N, my wife. Y/N this is grandpa Harlan,” Ransom introduces as the two of you shake hands.
“Nice to meet you. I apologize for my children’s behavior, they can be-,”
“Rude and outright inconsiderate,” you interrupt quickly slapping your hand over your mouth realizing you just said that out loud. “I’m sorry, it slipped out.”
“It’s quite alright, and in fact true,” he chuckles. “Don’t worry about them though, if you both need anything at all just let me know.”
“That’s nice of you gramps, but this baby is our responsibility. We don’t need any assistance.”
“That’s very commendable of you two, but I don’t want that child going without anything he or she needs to save your ego. Just know I’ll personally be here to help any way I can.”
You could see why Ransom always wanted to be by his grandfathers side. He might’ve had his stern moments from the stories you heard, but overall he was caring and actually gave people chances rather than immediately dismissing them. It made you wonder what happened to the rest of the family for them to turn out so different.
“Thank you Harlan. We really appreciate everything, but especially you just being there for us,” you smile walking over to hug his shoulders making the old man chuckle being caught off guard by your affection.
“You’re very welcome. And you little one,” he directs toward your stomach, “yes you’re coming into a, well...complicated family, but you have the power to determine what reaction your name brings. Whenever you need to be reminded of that, your parents and I will be here.”

Gundham x male!reader
Warnings: Death
Summary: Ya trying to get a date with Gundham <3
Sunflower Seeds
This takes place after the second class trial
You have had your eye on Gundham since you've all arrived at the island. Ever since the free times you've had, you always spent them with Gundham. If not Gunham, then Kazuichi, which made Kazuichi a bit upset since all I did was talk about Gundham, and Kazuichi wasn't really fond of him. Since the killings have started to happen, you've only grown closer to him and his 'Dark Devas of Destruction'. This wasn't the best for your heart, many times you thought it would explode when you were close to Gundham.
You see, you'd love to confess to Gundham, but you weren't entirely sure if he was into guys even in the slightest. You could just walk up to him and ask "Hey are you gay? Bi maybe?", but that is too straightforward and weird. So you settled on just keeping these feelings to yourself and just being a close friend of his. That is until Chiaki caught on to me.
It was a cool morning and everyone was either waking up or already heading to the restaurant. You had barely got out of your cottage before Chiaki got in your face.
"Hey, (Y/N). Can I ask you something? In private...", you hated that term, 'in private'. It usually meant that something bad was going to happen, but you trusted that Chiaki wouldn't say or do anything weird.
"Uhm... Sure. Come in" I moved aside so Chiaki could enter. She immediately cornered me. "Do you like Gundham?" She seemed so confident in the question. I was shocked and frozen, I studdered before I even got out a comprehensive sentence. "Whawhawahaa?! How... How did you know? Am I that obvious..?" She backed off with a soft smile. "No, it took me a while to figure it out. Your really good at hiding your romantic feelings. Anyway, Akane and I want to help you and Gundham get together."
"Thanks, Chiaki, but how are you two gonna do that??" There's no way that they could set us up, right? Dumb question. "Akane already found out Gundham is bisexual, but he only likes people he's known for a while and is close to, so you definitely have a chance with him. All I need to do now is convince him to go to the beach with you." What "Wait wait wait, how did you find out he's bi?" "Akane just asked and he was fine with answering" Of course they just asked.
"We can have you and Gundham meeting up at night and Akane and I could set up some lights in the sand and a picnic" Chiaki looked up as she was thinking out loud. "But what about Monomuka? We aren't allowed to be out of the hotel resort after 10 pm." She just smiled, "I'll appeal. He enjoys teen romance so there's a good chance that he'll let us all be out after the curfew", "How do you know he likes teen rom-", "That's not important right now, meet with Gundham at the beach around 10:30 pm." She seemed so determined. I agreed and we both made our way to the restaurant together
Of course, we were a little late. Gundham was the first to notice us, I think he was staring at the door... "The rest of the mortals are here." God his voice was hot. Kazuichi looked over at us "Finally! Gundham and Akane were about to go looking for you guys!" Man, did we take that long? oh. my. god. What the FUCK is that? I was about to say something before I saw this hideous tribute to our recently deceased friend, Mahiru. I was going to say something rude about it before Hajime grabbed my attention. He was signaling for me to be nice about it and that Hiyoko made it. I spoke with an unsure voice "Wooww that looks so coolll. Whoever made that is verryyy talented.". Hiyoko seemed to be satisfied with it. Good because that's all I got in me.
I made my way over to a table so I can eat. Gundham glanced over at me and continued to eat at his own table. It was a quiet morning, everyone must have still been tired. After we had all finished and left, I went to the supermarket to get some sunflower seeds for Gundham. Yesterday he helped me with a cow attack at the barn, so I wanna try to pay him back. It was a good thing he was looking for me anyway.
I still had some free time after I came back from getting the sunflower seeds. I decided to look for Gundham since I knew he was free most of the time. When I finally found him he was talking with Chiaki and Akane at Jaberwok Park, they must be talking to him about going to the beach with me. That also means I need to find someone else to talk to, I get really bored if I'm by myself for too long. I could either look for Kazuichi and look for things he can take apart or just go annoy Fuyuhiko. I'll look for Kazu, I don't feel like hearing boss baby yell at me.
I walked to the 3rd island and was on my way to Electric Ave. since that's become Kazu's new hangout. When I got there he was already digging around looking for anything to fidget with. Kazu is a nervous guy, so I understand if he wants something to with his hands constantly.
"Hey, Kazo! What 'cha lookin for today?" I asked as I leaned over his shoulder to see what he's grabbing. "Anything really. Although it would be nice to find something to corrode the cameras that Monokuma put everywhere. Hey, have you seen some yellow wires anywhere?" He stopped whatever he was doing to look at me. "No, but I think I saw some orange ones by the old game consoles", I pointed to the pile not too far away from me. "No no no, It has to be yellow, orange won't work with my current project." He went back to rummaging. "What are you working on?" I turned my head to the side, it's a bad habit. "I'm trying to make a phone, so we can call someone or something. At least be able to play some mobile games so I'm not so bored all the time." He was still digging around.
"Ok then, see ya! I'm gonna go find Chiaki or Akane, whoever comes first." I said turning away. All I heard was a very faint 'bye' from Kazuichi, he probably wasn't listening. Oh well, at least he said bye. I walked back to the resort where our cottages are. I must have lost at least 30 pounds from all the walking between islands. As I was walking past the farm, I saw Akane. I walked up to her to ask about Gundham and if he was going to the beach. "Heyyyy Akaneeee!" I tried to strike up a conversation since I'm not very good at it. "Oh, what's up (Y/N)?" She definitely knows how to match someones energy. "Sooo what did Gundham say?" I asked, slightly bouncing from excitement. Akane just deadpans "What?". "About the beach! What did Gundham say about going to the beach with me?". "OOOHHH, he said he'll go with ya, but you have to not force him to swim with you. Something about him poisoning the water from his skin? I don't really know, I wasn't really listening". "Oh, that's fine! I won't force him!" I beamed.
"By the way, he said he wants to talk to you about something. He's at his cottage if you wanna talk to him right now." Akane seemed to not be interested in anything she's saying. She probably agreed to help Chiaki only because she was bored. "OK! Thank you, byeee!" I turned around and hightailed out of the barn.
As I was making my way towards the resort gate, I heard Sonia scream at the supermarket. I left the gates and started booking towards the market. When I finally got there, I didn't see her anywhere. I started calling out to her and poking around every crevice of the store. When I finally found her, she was just standing in the back, perfectly fine from what I could see. "Sonia oh my god! What happened? I heard you scream, are you ok?" I was panting from the running and looking. She looked at me with a pang of guilt in her eyes. "I am sorry for scaring you (Y/N), but thank you for taking the time to find me." She looked down at her shoes. "Well yea of course, but why did you scream?" I tilted my head to the side again. "I am terribly sorry (Y/N), but I have a kingdom to lead and I need to get back, I'm sure you understand. Right?" She slowly started walking towards me. I saw a screwdriver in her hand, It looks like....Kazuichi's! How did she even get his screwdriver? Oh what am I thinking, she probably just asked for it while batting her lashes and Kazuichi just gave it to her.
I started to walk backward until I was fully against the door. I quickly started to feel for a handle and scrambled out, back to the isles. As I was running towards the door, I felt a stabbing pain at the back of my head. After, my body felt numb, as if I couldn't control it. I fell. The last thing I heard was the door opening, it was Gundham. "Hello? I heard a scream so- (Y/N)!!" I really hope he finds the sunflower seeds in my pocket. At least the last thing I saw was Gundham.
Mod Jax: HAH, yall probably thought you were gonna have a nice beach date with Gundham. Foolish. You don't get to have a happy ending. Anyway, this took a while ahaha. MAYbe I'll make a version where ya survive and get yer beach date, maybe I won't, idk yet. BUUUUT there is a 90% that I make a part 2 where it's the trial for your murder.
Todays message that ya probably need to hear
You're not responsible for someone else's mental health, fuck with yourself before you fuck with someone else

Day6 Finding Out You’re Pregnant
A/N: I don’t own these gifs, this is all just for fun, please enjoy. Also, fellow mydays I know I’m loyal to Sungjin...but Wonpil! He’s sooooo cute, alright thanks for listening to my ted talk read on!
Sungjin
Tumblr media
Everything seemed normal today, finally Sungjin had a night off from work, so he decided to spend the whole day with you. It was a wonderful surprise, usually your husband would spend 24/7 writing and composing songs for the planned comeback, but today he was chill. Half the day both of you went to the mall, Sungjin got you some new heels for a formal dinner a few nights away, then he got both of you some well deserved ice cream, but at the end of the day was spent on the couch. On the couch, cuddling together which you both rarely did, watching a romantic comedy. It seemed Sungjin really wanted to spoil you today with things you liked.
Your belly was full from just eating a delicious dinner, so when your stomach began to twist in pain you just assumed it was gas or something. Then, half way through the movie, the pain started to grow. It didn’t feel like gas anymore, instead you felt like throwing up the pork you had just eaten.
“You okay,” Sungjin asked, concerned that he was making you uncomfortable. He noticed awhile ago that you were moving around a lot, an uncomfortable look plastered on your face.
“Yea, um...just feeling a bit...-blerg!”
Quickly, you covered your mouth as you felt bile rise up your throat. Flying off the couch you made your way to the bathroom, begrudgingly filling up the toilet with vomit. Sungjin followed close behind, even holding your hair.
“Dear god,” you whined, sinking against the wall next to the toilet.
“Honey,” Sungjin cooed, stroking the back of your head with comfort. “Are you not feeling well?”
“I guess...,” you started, confused on why you randomly you just got sick. That’s when it hit you, lately you’ve gained weight but you assumed it was your increase in appetite, piecing it together your realized you’re late. “Oh my god!” You squealed, covering your mouth with the thought you’ve just had.
“What is it,” Sungjin asked, kneeling down in front of you. He took your face into his hands, worried that there was something wrong with you, it was clear on his face.
“Honey,” you smiled, putting a hand on top of his, rubbing it gently. “I think I’m pregnant.”
“What?” Sungjin’s reaction was monotoned like you’d expected. His eyes were wide with shock as he searched your face trying to see if you’re lying or not. “Are you sure?”
“Yes, yes! My periods late, I’m gaining weight, my feet are swelling, now this...”
“I um,” he let go of you, shocked at the sudden news. “I guess you’re right.”
“Honey,” you crawled over to him, grasping his arm to see if he was mentally okay. “Are...are you okay?”
“Of course,” he sighed with content, the news just hitting him. A bright smile washed over him, “I’m gonna be a dad!”
Jae
Tumblr media
It was perceived that Jae didn’t want kids, so as you held the positive pregnancy test in your hands you didn’t know how you were going to tell him. Jae and you have been dating for three years now, everything was going great for both of you. At some point you’d even expect a ring on your finger. But now that you’re pregnant, you’re not sure who happy Jae would.
You sat on the cool tile of your bathroom floor, millions thoughts running through your mind. This was the last thing you needed right now, Jaw as going to be home any minute now, tired from another day of work.
Right on cue, Jae shimmied the front doors lock, your body tensed as you heard the echo from the bathroom.
“Babe,” he yelled, kicking off his shoes in the outcove at the front door. “I’m home.”
Going further into the shared house he didn’t see you anywhere, instantly growing confused at where you could be. Did you go out and you just forgot to mention it to him? Wouldn’t be the first time.
“Babe?” Jae noticed the shut bathroom door, which was never shut. It was a system you both had, leaving the door open met it wasn’t occupied or smelly to go in. Softly, he knocked at the door, slightly you flinched at the action. “Are you in there?”
“Y-Yea,” you stuttered, trying to not put him off or give any indication you weren’t okay. Jae knew better, he could hear in your voice that cracked tone you had when you were crying.
“Why are you crying,” he asked, a reassuring smile on his face. Even though you couldn’t see it, it still gave the same effect on you. “Can I come in?”
Gosh, you so desperately wanted to say no, pick yourself up, and pretend that nothing ever happened. But, that wasn’t fair to Jae. Gently, you pushed yourself off the ground, placing the pregnancy test on the sinks counter, then unlocking the door without a word. Instantly Jae came through the door, he was right, you were crying over the sink trying to hide your face from him. You hated when he saw you like this.
“Babe,” he cooed, coming over to you at the sink. “What’s going on, do you wanna talk about it-What’s that?”
You placed the test on the sink so he’d have access to it. It was another form of not telling him yourself, rather you’d want the test to tell him. “Is that a...pregnancy test?” Jae picked it up, with cation of course, he knew you had peed on it already. Refusing to meet his face, you didn’t quite see his reaction at first. “Two lines means?”
“It’s positive, I’m preg-pregnant Jae,” you muttered, head still down faced to the sink.
“Ok...,” he dragged out, placing the test down back on the sink. Turning his attention on you which, mind you, was needed greatly. Jae went up behind you, placing his head on top of yours since you were much smaller than he, his arms wrapped around your waist a comfortable warmth rushing through you. “Everything’s going to be okay,” he tried calming you down, holding onto you tightly.
Jae may have not known why you were crying, but he thought it was better not to pry the answer out of you. “Well, we’re going to have a baby,” he started, rubbing your tummy lightly. “Guess we should finally get married too. What do you say?”
Younghyun
Tumblr media
Younghyun and you have been trying to get pregnant for awhile. Both of you have been married for four years now, with no luck of children your way. Nothing you did got you pregnant, but it seems luck struck the both of you. You had been late this month so you were suspicious that you might be with child. While Younghyun was at work you went to a local pharmacy, grabbing a pregnancy test off the shelves. Long story short, the pregnancy test was positive, and you’ve never been happier.
You made the most over dramatic plan you could to tell Younghyun, your idea fell on a gift to give him. With haste, you ran to the store grabbing all the things you needed to make this “gift”.
After that, you put all of it together, placing it into a polka dot bag. Due to your excitement, you decided to go to his work than wait for him to come home. You took a bus there since he was using the car, the whole time your leg shook with anticipation as you held onto the gift sercurly.
When you got to the front desk of his studio you asked the woman there for Mr. Kang Younghyun. She instantly recognized you, this wasn’t the first time you’ve been to his office, sometimes you’d come over to eat lunch with him.
Anyway, the woman gave you a visitors pass, so you walked to his office. Opening up the door to reveal Younghyun, you could only assume he was composing a song at the current moment. He sat in his seat, playing the bass and every so often writing down what he played on a sheet in front of him. He was so entranced that he didn’t even notice your arrival.
“Brian,” you raised your voice, grabbing his attention. Your husband was shocked to see you since this was a surprise visit.
“Love,” he wholeheartedly smiled at you, glad to see his beautiful wife. Just who he wanted to see since he was having a hard time with the song he’s writing. “What are you doing here?”
Younghyun went over to you, yanking you into a soft, chaste kiss. He wrapped his arms around your waist holding you close, you would do the same except you had a gift in your hand. “I was in the neighborhood,” you joked, pecking his lips once more. Even if you are married to him, no matter how much you kiss you still get flustered by it.
“Oh really?”
“Yes, and I decided I wanted to give a gift to my loving husband.”
Younghyun’s eyes glowed with admiration as you held the present up to his face. You were just the best, in his time a need you came to make him feel better.
“What’s the occasion,” he let go of you so he could open the present with more room.
“Nothing,” you bit your lip, lying of course, but you wanted him to figure it out himself. Younghyun discarded the bag pulling out a jar of-
“Pasta sauce?”
He looked confused rightfully so, you saw not to long ago a pregnancy surprise with Prego sauce.
“Not just any sauce,” you smiled, inching him to figure out what you were doing.
“Now with...10% more cheese,” he laughed, reading the jars facts.
“No,” you whined, walking over to him. “What’s the name of the sauce?”
“Prego,” he looked at you, really trying to figure out why pasta sauce was his gift. He didn’t even like red sauce that much.
“Jesus Bri, I’m pregnant! Prego-pregnant! Get it!”
“Love,” he dropped the sauce, thankfully he didn’t break it. He grabbed you hard, giving you a bear hug, littering your face with kisses. “Are you actually? Is this a joke?! This would be a mean joke?!”
You shook your head, laughing at how anxious he seemed. But man, was he so ecstatic about a baby. “I can’t wait to meet her,” he calmed down, placing a hand on your flat stomach. For a moment he imagined you with a big pregnant belly, you were his life and so was this baby.
“Oh,” you giggled, kissing his cheek lightly. “What makes you think it won’t be a boy?”
“Oh, I just know. Ah...” he sighed, pulling you into a more gentle hug this time. “We’re having a baby...”
Wonpil
Tumblr media
You found out this morning you were pregnant, expertly hiding it from Wonpil through out the whole day. You wanted to tell him in a different way, so most of the time you spent today was on unique ways to announce it.
Two months ago, you and Wonpil finally got hitched. The wedding was grand and the honeymoon even grander. Wonpil knew how to make you feel special without a doubt. Of course, you hadn’t expected to get pregnant so quickly, but that’s because of the lack of protection (if you catch my drift).
At the end of the night, Wonpil decided he wanted to shave his face. More like he needed to, his stubble was poking through and JYP wasn’t exactly a fan of that look. They always made him shave it, not that you minded.
As he was getting rid of his facial hair, you snuck past him into the bathroom with a blue, dry erase marker in your hand.
“Oh, Y/N,” he looked at your through the mirror as you stood behind him. Bouncing on your heels in excitement. “Do you have to go to the bathroom or something...don’t worry I won’t look.”
Even though you and Wonpil are married now, he still get’s shy and blushy about certain things. “Actually babe,” you started, uncapping the marker. “Can you solve this riddle for me?”
“Right now?”
“Yes, right now.”
“Ok,” he smiled, face lathered up with shaving cream, but he stopped just for you.
With the marker you drew on the mirror, the first thing you wrote was “there’s”. Wonpil raised a brow, but let you continue, then you wrote a “a me.”
“There’s a me?”
“Not done yet,” you muttered, writing the word “baby” right in the gap in the E.
Wonpil questioned the riddle, reading it in his head trying to decipher.
“Read it outloud, that might help,” you giggled at how cute Wonpil looked when he was thinking. He bit his lip in frustration, sorta mad at himself that he couldn’t figure it out.
“There’s a me baby? There’s a me...”
“Where’s the baby?” You asked, leaning against the wall.
“In me,” he questioned again. “There’s a baby...in me...There’s a baby in me? Is that the riddle?”
“Think about it,” you simply said, Wonpil looking at you without a clue in the world.
Then it clicked.
“OH, you’re serious! There’s a baby in you,” he exclaimed, grabbing your hand. You shook your head vigorously, smiling at the sudden enjoyment. “I can’t believe your pregnant! I would kiss you right now, but I don’t wanna get shaving cream on your face!”
Dowoon
Tumblr media
This was all Dowoon actually, he started to have his suspicion about you being pregnant when you ate a whole jar of banana peppers. You hated spicy food so seeing you randomly craving a whole jar of it was a odd thing to see. Dowoon, this sweet man, didn’t want to freak you out and force you to take a test. After all, this was all so sudden for him too.
Dowoon proposed to you a few weeks ago, he’d always said he wanted to get married at the age thirty, but he decided to break that rule just for you. There was no doubt in your mind, this was the man you wanted to spend the rest of your life with. Now you weren’t even married and expecting a child. It may sound selfish, but he just needed to know.
After practice, Dowoon had gone to a convenience store, buying the most expensive test off the walls. He wanted the results to be the best they could be. He had to admit though, it made him red in the ears while trying to figure out what test was best.
When he got home, he was met with you standing directly in the doorway waiting for him to come home. Lately, you’ve been more clingy with him, it was definitely a new feeling to have you attached to the hip. A few days into the clinginess he started to get used to it, gladly accepting the spontaneous need to cuddle.
“How was work Dowoonie,” you held your arms out, expecting him to whisk into a hug with you. Dowoon, instead, stood there with a freaked out look on his face.
“Was work bad?”
“Um...it was fine, but-Y/N, I need you to do something for me.”
“Alright,” you spoke suspiciously. Taking into notice how fidgety he looked, nonetheless he held out the plastic bag in his hand. Confused, you took the bag, opening it up to a pink box. “A pregnancy test? What’s this about?”
“You’ve been acting different lately, not a bad different but...different. I think you might be...you know, pregnant.”
“Does that freak you out,” you asked, gulping afraid to hear a negative response.
“Yes-I mean no...I don’t know! Are we really ready to have a baby?”
“Well...is anyone really read to have a baby?”
Lovingly, you took his hand, interlocking your fingers with him rubbing the back of his hand with your thumb. “I might...have some news for you then?”
“Oh?”
“I may have already taken a test...and I may have already known I was pregnant for a day or two.”
“What!” Dowoon looked shocked, a look a disbelief riddled his face. Hey, you felt very guilty that you hid this from him, but come on! This was a hard thing to talk about in general. “You didn’t tell me?”
“I tried,” you sighed, rubbing your temples with one hand. Dowoon obviously looked upset which broke your heart, the last thing you wanted to do was hurt him. “Don’t be mad.” Cooing to him, pulling his arm gently, placing your head into his chest wrapping your small arms around his frame.
“I’m...I’m not,” he muttered out, giving up and putting his hand in your hair. Softly, running his hands through it.
“We may not be ready,” you started, squeezing him lightly. “But we need to try, for our baby.”

Two hugs

Genre: Fluff

Summary: Having a terrible day, you couldn’t stop the tears from flowing when you got home, alarming both your boyfriends so naturally, they teamed up to comfort you and lighten the atmosphere.
A/N:  Two in one day! I was thinking of a fluff for both of them but separately and just thought to myself, ‘’Both?’’ *bright smile*
Tumblr media
All the work that you'd done in three months (which included staying up late every other night) had disappeared in a matter of seconds. As you had gone to save it, the Internet glitched and only a quarter of everything that you had actually written had gotten saved. With the internet down, you couldn't comprehend what had truly happened, freezing as you stared at your workspace and you could distinctly remember thinking, "Oh my god, I can always get it back right?" over and over again but funnily enough, you couldn't and you had known it.
You denied what had occurred and continued other work, however throughout the day, the thought of the deleted draft lingered at the back of your mind. Contacting your IT office, you waited for their response but you were only met with "unfortunately...". In some sort of daze when you had written all of that, it hurt knowing that it would only take more time for you to create that atmosphere all over again. You had taken a walk outside however, the moment you walked back through the door, your mind split in half trying to organise all the work you had to do and when exactly to do it.
At lunch, no one had any solutions- mainly because there weren’t that many to begin with but they were sympathetic and also shared stories of their own despair at deleting something that they had worked incredibly hard for. Grateful for not being the only one, you were able to laugh it off and pass time and settle with other pieces of work for the rest of the day. Getting off the train, you were met with the chilly, cold air that nipped at the exposed parts of your skin. Your feet hit the ground harder as the reality of your exhaustion set in, taking it an entire journey to realise how much you desired the warmth of your two boyfriends all day.
Chani opened the door for you, standing there in his jumper and joggers, you wrapped your arms around him, craving the hidden reserve of affection that he had always had for you. His soft and warm lips from staying in pressed against your cheek, the tenderness making you smile at him. Eyes full of love, he asked, "How was your day?" and his question immediately bought back memories of your day at work, where you struggled with the wrestling mess of missing work on your desk. "It was okay, I guess" you casually replied, sighing as you took off your jacket and shoes, looking away from his concerned eyes. "Was it hard?" he questioned and you nodded, heart sinking to the bottom of your stomach, holding your tears back so that he wouldn't see you cry.
He grabbed your hand and walked you to the sofa, where Hwi was sitting and hearing your footsteps, he greeted you with bright, shining eyes and that adorable gummy smile. Sitting you down, he walked into the kitchen while you hugged Hwi, laying your head on his chest, taking a deep, shallow breath to calm yourself down. Hearing you, he raised his eyebrows and pushed the hair out of your face, he asked, "Did you have a tiring day?". You nodded but he persisted, "Tell me about your day", smiling as he poked your side, waiting for a reply. You squirmed but the tears flew softly and silently, staining his oversized hoodie.
Looking up at him, he felt alarmed seeing your tears but you shook your head saying, "I'm okay- it's okay, don't worry" but he did worry. Whenever you came home after a tough day, you found ways to be optimistic but it seemed as if something triggered your pile of stress for you to break down in such a manner. Chani had walked out of the kitchen with a warm glass of water in his hand and a bowl of food, but stilled when Hwi met his eyes with a concerned look on his face that indicated that you weren't feeling okay. Setting the stuff down on the coffee table, he wrapped his arms around you and pulled you into his embrace where you fisted your hands in hoodie and let out sobs, feeling absolutely helpless.
From behind, Hwi put his laptop down and held your suit jacket, allowing you to take it off. You didn't want them to see you cry so you pushed away how hungry you felt and just let Chani's body heat surround you while he rubbed your back as Hwi grasped the back of your head, rubbing in soothing motions.
"Hey, look at me" Chani spoke, lifting your head to look into your eyes, laughing a little at your adorable pout that you had when you cried at how terribly unfair things were. You smiled a little as he continued saying, "Speak to us, it's okay to cry so just let it out but you have to find a solution for it, okay?" and you nodded. Looking at Hwi, he blinked in agreement as Hwi spoke up, "Let's go" and he lifted you up by your arms, pulling you off the sofa and allowing you to wrap your legs around his waist as he carried you to the bedroom. Chani followed suit walking half to the kitchen to prepare an alternate set of food for you.
Holding on to Hwi, you hid in the crook of his neck until you had to let go as he laid you on the bed, waking over to the closet to get you a change of clothes. Slipping out of your work clothes, you threw them in the laundry basket and wore the fresh pair, watching as Hwi laid down next to you to envelop you in a hug. You hugged him back just as tight, appreciating the fact that he was here, by your side. Hearing Chani enter the room a few seconds later, he set down the mug of hot water and salted- caramel walnut bread, laying on the other side, snuggling into the crook of your neck and inhaling your perfume.
You started your story with a heavy sigh, pondering over the events of the day and the potential after-effects that this one small problem would have. If your boss wanted to know what happened, you would tell the truth but confrontation with the reality of all your hard work going to waste clouded your mind. They listened carefully and when you had finished, they gave their thoughts which made you content. It also took your own version of the events to realise that such things happened and if this was the way of life, then you had to pick up and move on.
Sandwiched in between Hwiyoung and Chani, you could feel their warmth surrounding you on both sides. Hwiyoung’s hand delicately grasped the back of your head, running his hands through your hair, while Chani rubbed your hip in circles as he stared at your almost tired form. Pressing a kiss to your cheek, Hwi whispered, "Babe, are you feeling better now?" causing Chani to look at you as if he were asking the same question. Squeezing your eyes to keep them open, you nodded, murmuring "yea, I guess". With concerned eyes, he looked at Hwi who shared the same look but shrugged, not knowing exactly how you were feeling.
Taking in a deep breath, you stilled the reflection of the same thought in your mind of how you had messed up and only made things harder for yourself. Self- desecrating, you pushed them aside deciding that you would deal with them later. Chani's voice brought you out of the corners from your thoughts, "Are you hungry?" and you turned to face him, slowly nodding, vision blurry from the tears clouding your eyes. As a stray tear rolled down your cheek, you turned back to face Hwi who placed a kiss on your forehead, the stress seeping from your body almost immediately.
Sitting up, he pulled the two of you towards the headboard as Chani handed you the mug of hot water, that you gently took a sip from as they traced your reaction. Drops of warm water clenched your throat and hydrated you, feeling the parchedness leave, replaced by a better feeling. "Thank you, I'm feeling slightly better now" looking at the two of them and you swore they sighed in relief even though it wasn't visible because a blink and you could've missed it. A small smile graced your face as you snuggled into Hwi's embrace while eating a little piece of the bread, stomach grumbling.
‘‘Should probably eat some real food huh?’‘ Chani chuckled and you laughed, asking him, ‘’Why’d you switch the food?’‘.
‘‘I thought that we were going to be here for much longer’‘, the bluntness bringing a smile to your face as Hwi smiled with you.
