Makes me feel better that someone so in love with w101 also nonetheless prefers the simpler arc 1 game mechanics lol. I just hit level 50 after 13 years and I truly do not understand what's happening

LOL i so feel you tho anon- Honestly I feel like arc 1 & 2 (at least, at the time of Arc 2's releases/finale) are pretty similar gameplaywise.

THe only major thing I can think off for Arc 2 is the stral schools, tho they were, imo, a great and SIMPLEEEE addition to wiz's gameplay- didn't alter too many things while still keeping things engaging and fresh. I also think blade sharpen was one of the most awesome additions we got in Arc 2- being able to stack multiple blades was game changing in the amount of damage you could achieve, but due to the continuously increasing health of your average bosses at the time, I personally felt it was needed. Also helped to get the 1 in a million badge for players that weren't just hitter schools :'D

Arc 3 wasn't like awful I felt like, but Emyprea iirc felt like it was a LEAP with like.... cheating bosses every other quest, with kind of insane rules for more casual players- and in my experience they only got more insane as arc 4 progressed (that lemira battle with EIGHT BOSSES. i'd rather die im sorry aaaa)

Actually, if I have to be honest... I wouldn't play wizard's later content if I wasn't so into the story/universe/lore/etc... i just don't find the game play fun/enjoyable anymore. My main wiz isn't even fully through Novus yet :/ its just too damn hard to do mostly by myself, or without recruiting some super buffed pvp warlord to help me out- and even then they skip the darn dialogue >:/

I lvoe the game i just... am not a fan of late stage gameplay.

Also spellements are annoying there's no respect for the 'difference' of each school and their mechanics which was SO EASILY DIGESTABLE AS A KID FOR ME NOW IDK WHAT ANYTHING DOES.

*coughs* also not bitter about the nerfing of the Iceblade from a few years ago. while storm got buffed and didn't need it. ugh

I was rewatching Fallout scenes and oughgug I LOVE Lucy so much... finally a female protagonist who is not a 'badass girlboss' yet competent enough to survive and has a good character development... also looks like someone you can see on the street instead of a supermodel.
