bo burnham started on youtube & is now one of the most wellknown & loved standup comedians of our generation, with numerous netflix specials & even a movie he wrote & directed under his belt.

the try guys, fellow ex-buzzfeed employees, had their own tv specials on food network (based off their youtube shows, btw) & a documentary made about them as well

rosanna pansino has also been on numerous food network shows both as a host & a judge

quinta brunsun, another fellow ex-buzzfeed employee, went on to create her own whole ass sitcom that has been highly praised

matpat cameo'd in the fnaf movie because of his theories & multiple other fnaf creators had small cameos through the employee of the month board easter egg

markiplier made multiple high-quality shows on youtube & is now working on a highly anticipated movie (he was also planned to cameo in the fnaf movie but couldn't due to conflicting schedules with his own movie)

hot ones got their own tv gameshow due to their popularity & they are still one of the most wellknown, beloved & respected internet shows

many short films made on youtube went on to premiere at film festivals & even in theaters

the hit horror film "talk to me" was created by youtubers rackaracka

webseries of actual fucking tv shows have also existed for literal decades

the list goes on.

to seriously think that overproduced bullshit is all you need to make "tv quality content" is not only tone-deaf, but shows they do not even know what they're talking about. many tv shows & huge blockbuster movies are made with absolutely microscopic budgets & small teams, & they still get praised & awarded for the passion, dedication, & creativity that shined brightly under those restrictions.

it is a whole other slap in the face, again ESPECIALLY when puppet history is one of their most popular shows, to spit in the face of internet history. to see the success of their predecessors, even ppl they fucking worked with at buzzfeed, & deny them of all their success & efforts to get where they ended up.

The wrong DNA test

Meanwhile Danny had just been YEETED to the DC universe before the start of Batman's justice thing and had been adopted by a very wealthy fruit loops couple as there kid, so he stayed as the couples daughter even pretending, because he owed ghost writer a favor for the last time, and as DC universe exist so it's story, and one thing for sure the child he had to give birth in this universe has a very complicated fate,

he did the one night stand from his supposed friend Willis Todd? He had to befriend him as Dalia F. nightingale the supposed Wealthy daughter who fell in love with a peasant trope, and gotten pregnant making it a scandal, and reaching to his ‘parents’ circle and getting that drama.

But he never thought he would care for his child, his little jay, his ghost side would purr in delight when they held Jason, he was a very hard sucker especially from his pacifier or his breast, it's so weird being in a women body,

but the way his ‘parents’ sold his son to the women who was supposed to get his son killed and being revived by cheap parody ass of ectoplasm.

He went feral, he had an argument to his ‘parents’ but all fell deaf ears, he couldn't find his son in one of the hotels nearby where that BXtch was.

And that time was where his part of the script was fulfilled, ghost writer already took him, both sides of his, were angry.

if we're talking about Lyra, here's my hot take

I think she and Galen both failed Jyn. I don't think Lyra was a shitty mother, she clearly loved Jyn a lot and did her best in difficult circumstances, but at the same time, Jyn was eight years old, she needed her parents. she wasn't an adult or a teen or even a young tween who may be able to look out for herself, she was entirely reliant on her parents who failed to put her safety first.

the situation is obviously nuanced, so again, I don't think this makes Lyra a terrible parent by any means, but I'd be lying if I said that I thought she did right by Jyn in that moment. killing Krennic was never a plan that was going to work. say she got a lucky shot and managed to end him, what then? the troopers still kill her, and they either still take Galen or kill him too. Jyn still ends up alone and vulnerable.

I'm not putting the blame solely on Lyra, but I think she did have a responsibility towards Jyn the same as Galen, and imo they both failed her in this aspect

Cyclops Are Valuable and Highly Skilled Workers in PJO, Not Mistakes.

Something I find really interesting (read: annoying) is how Annabeth says that "Cyclops are mistakes," and then nearly everything we hear of cyclops in every book/series says differently?

Of course there's outliers like Polyphemus and the cyclops Annabeth stabbed as a 6-7 year old but those are the exceptions. The majority of cyclops that are mentioned/seen aren't like that.

In tlt, Chiron says that Zeus thinks Poseidon stole his lightning bolt so Poseidon could have his cyclops study and make copies of it. Which means that his cyclops are highly competent weaponsmiths.

In SoM, Tyson works with Beckendorf and the Hephaestus kids and learns how to make magical objects. By the end of the book, Tyson makes a magical shield for Percy, which reveals so many of his talents: 1. Tyson is an artist (the shield was covered in scenes of their adventures from that summer), 2. Tyson went from fumbling with small objects to making an intricate shield in the space of 2 months. Which means that Tyson (and possibly all cyclops) have the ability to learn/pick up on skills very quickly with high degrees of proficiency. 3. Not to mention all the work that went into the mechanics of making the watch and the shield.

In SoM, Tyson was able to tell that Clarisse's warship's engine was failing, and was able to fix it, long enough for it to hold together for a few more minutes. And this was with little to no education in ship engines. So just as Percy has instinctive power over old fashioned wooden ships, Tyson has power over modern engineered ship engines.

In tlo, Poseidon's army of cyclops fought alongside him and the other Olympians against Typhon, demonstrating that not only are they decent warriors/soldiers but they are literally the best. They're good enough to fight alongside Olympian gods, including Zeus.

In tlo, Zeus makes Tyson a general of Olympus's armies. So 1. Cyclops can hold positions of authority not only in Poseidon's kingdom but also Zeus's. And 2. Olympus also has an army of cyclops (I'm assuming that Tyson is a general over an army of cyclops and not an army of lesser immortals/nymphs/satyrs/minor gods).

In tlo, Tyson and his cyclops friends are the ones building most of the minor gods cabins. Which shows that they're construction workers and civil engineers. Possibly architects too - aside from Nico's cabin it's unclear who designed the other cabins.

In HoO, Gaea has an army of cyclops, one that marched towards camp jupiter. Idk if they're Poseidon's cyclops - and I highly doubt they are because the gods including Poseidon were against Gaea, and most of Poseidon's cyclops live with him in Atlantis - and also because according to Greek myths Gaea and Ouranus also had a few cyclops kids. Gaea was using her own cyclops kids here. Either way, the fact that they're part of an army, one that responded to their mother/grand-mother etc. call shows that they're competent soldiers, at the very least.

In Cotg, Percy sees many cyclops building Poseidon's summer villa. So their abilities include construction and civil engineering as well.

So in conclusion, cyclops are hella talented. They're highly proficient in weapon making, magical weapons making, they have unnaturally good ability to pick up on new skills, they're elite fighters, hold positions of authority in multiple kingdoms, construction workers and civil engineers.

They're literally trades people? And in our society, tradesmen (and women) literally hold our houses together? They're essential workers. You wouldn't have a house, or plumbing or electrical systems or a furnace or AC without tradesmen. Idk if it's the same in PJO because Rick doesn't get into that level of worldbuilding. Anyways.

She`s never had a mom and he`s never been one so it`s only natural that she was anxious at the beginning, trying to get every single thing right. You know like that kind of new mom that hands you a foot-long list of hyper specific rules and regulations concerning their child`s care before you even cross the threshold? Yeah, that`s Ellie. And Joel notices how stressed and tired she is and he offers to look after JJ so Ellie can take Dina on a date and relax a bit.

Problem is Ellie refuses to leave without explaining every single thing to Joel and the list is endless. And he`s amused, he remembers all too well how it felt to be a new parent and stress over your newborn AND what a mess he`s been when he had to leave Sarah for the first time. But most of all he`s just so goddamn proud of Ellie. So he wraps her in a hug, interrupting her rumbling, kisses her forehead and tells her:
