i used to freehand comics all the time as a child and since the part i liked was the drawing part i would just draw panel after panel because i didn't want to stop drawing to think about icky icky words, plus the story TOTALLY still made perfect sense! to me! and noone else, but 'whoooo caaaaares omgggg its not like comics and sequantial art are a communicative meeediummmm lmaoooooo'. i spent my entire childhood telling myself stuff like "oh pfft I know this story by heart- ill SIMPLY remember the dialogue and write it later" ...and. I can't help but admire baby maiora's (call that a minora ba tm tsk) fucking audacity? hubris? confident wrongness? kid couldn't even remember to finish the comics in the first place? INCREDIBLE levels of unearned self assurance, wish that were me, genuinely- what an icon!!! anyway i think i have forever cursed myself

One of my bigest complain about how the fandom treats taryn is that they just potray her as this dumb weak girl who did everything for Loser.I always felt that Taryn was more atracted to the idea of him and he could guarante a place in faerie and a little power.The fandom always act like Taryn doesnt love jude,taryn loves jude but shes also resenfull of her,BOTH jude and taryn see the other one as the one better fit in faerie,in tpt jude doesnt know how to get a place in faerie and says that taryn has the place asigured that how taryn fells aswell,another thing that the fandom says is that taryn thinks herself BETTER than jude wich is definetly a lie,Taryn always saw jude as the strong one because she wasnt afraid to fight back that why she was so mad that Loser show more intrest in her.Theres a parallel between taryn and eva that i actually like,both of them marries fae man,both were left most of time alone,both of them found lobe with someone else(it speculates that taryn x ghost happened before Loser death)both get pregnant and both run away only that taryn actually kills Loser and finish the job,probably eva if she could would have actually killed madoc idk.(Loser real name was not used because this fits him better,may he doesnt rest in peace)

Yeah... When she calls herself "the good sister" and says she deserves to be rewarded instead of Jude, it isn't because she really thinks of Jude as inferior, but because she is scared that all that swallowing her pride and going along with all the horrors thrown at her was for nothing. Her beliefs and convictions are being turned upside down and she doesn't want it to be true. People are like "ooo how dare she say she wanted to physically lash out at Jude" as if the point of the scene (and the story tbh) isn't "Taryn sees herself in Jude and that's who she is fighting"

To cap off this pride month, a few of my queer headcanons for Carmen Sandiego (2019) characters!

I headcanon Player as a trans boy and Carmen as a trans woman! I also definitely think Carmen's sapphic but I don't have a more specific identity in mind for her.

Julia is a lesbian ofc. Her shirt is inspired by this retro lesbian shirt! If I had seen it before inking I would have made it an actual shirt with a collar and all but alas I saw it too late.

And I headcanon Devineaux as a trans man. His jacket was heavily based on this vintage jacket, obviously with the colors reworked. That's his new lucky coat probably.

(I have headcanons for other characters but since they're less fixed I won't talk about them here)

It's interesting that like. I cannot hear the audio for videos for a good chunk of the time. It's not the video, it's me. So whenever I see a video with an ID description or subtitles I feel so much better my body feels a little lighter.

oftentimes when you desire something and are in the process of manifesting it, you end up obsessing over it; "I can't wait to get it omg when will it manifest I can't live without it" and get anxious, impatient.

but honey.. would you be impatient if you already had it? would you be anxious if it was already yours? by getting 'impatient' and 'waiting' for your desire to arrive, you're giving off the signal that you're in the state of waiting; hence your reality will make you wait.

you're under the impression that you're in the middle of the 'process' of manifesting instead of acknowledging the fact that it's literally already yours. the universe will reflect your assumption that 'its still coming' and keeps it coming 😭

it won't arrive till you decide it's already here and LET GO of the wanting state.

here's a personal example, there's this guy A and this guy B.

I was really obsessing guy A and I had been 'trying' to manifest him for months, but to no avail. I was in the state of wanting him and waiting for him therefore the universe reflected that state and STILL kept me waiting, kept me in the state of trying to get him.

but when I saw the guy B, I decided "I'll pull him for fun" and the WAY it happened so fast is crazy. He kept complimenting me and took me out on a date etc. in literally a week of us talking.

then I wondered, what did I do differently?

how come I've been doing my best and affirming, chasing guy A and nothing worked but the moment I thought I'd get guy B, I ended up getting him?

the difference was; I didn't obsess over guy B. I thought he was cool and decided I could pull him, after that I completely forgot about him and stopped thinking of him altogether; I was detached and had a belief "eh I've pulled him." so I wasn't anxious, impatient or obsessed with him because I KNEW he would like me. and that's exactly what happened. unlike guy A, whom I had put on a pedestal and desperately tried to get; guy B fell instantly because I was detached from him.

I wasn't in the state of 'chasing' I was in the state of 'attracting.' and this applies to every other desire, would you be constantly impatient and obsessing over your body if it actually was your desired body? heck you wouldn't even consider it that big of a deal because you'd know you have it. you'd know it's already here so you have nothing to wait for.

It's already here, why you waiting for something you already have? just LET IT GO.

But even then, Voldemort wasn't a great father. He was actually the worst father to ever live. For all of Tom's childhood, he was brain washed and tortured to believe his father was amazing, and sadly it worked on him

Oh, he goes fucking insane and runs away to the forbidden forrest to "process" all of his emotions (he kills almost every animal in there out of pure strength)

Falling for the person who's related to your father's killer is not easy to handle

But, he still owns you - he just can't be with you duhhh

If you ever try to move on or get a new boyfriend, he simply make them "disappear"

He's the exact opposite of Tom, he actually really respects and likes Harry

After Harry killed Voldemort, he felt so free. It was like Harry got rid of the shackle that was keeping him down for so long

Unlike Tom, Mattheo always knew that what their father was doing was wrong and cruel - but he was forced to go along with the family's plans because he'd be punished if he didn't

Not only that, Mattheo and Harry both play Quidditch and are good rivals - he loves the competition

So he actually gets along fine with Harry

When he finds out you two are actually TWINS he's so shocked like omg

He wonders what would have happened if you ate Harry while in the womb or smth

And he also wonders why you and Harry aren't exactly identical (you are identical... mattheo just doesn't understand why harry has glasses and you don't....)

Doesn't mind bringing Harry on a couple of dates - But when Harry does come... it's basically like you're third wheeling

Your cute dates are ruined because these two dumbass men decide to do stupid stuff

Like for example, a cute date of mini golfing got ruined because Harry and Mattheo decided to see who could chuck their golf ball the farthest

They ended up breaking multiple windows...

Or when Mattheo took you out to go ice skating but it got ruined because fucking Harry surprised Mattheo with hockey gear

The two ended up playing hockey,,,, just a 1v1,,,, and crashed into so many bystanders that they just shut down the rink
