Ohh girl you are really me wtf twin cause I used to devour fanfics back then 😭 I even had a book on wattpad but that's nothing cause the other anon is so true we do adapt to what we consume. Its just sad that - used to be an indicator of a fanfic reader but now it's ai (not really just a shift yk) but I guess we can't really do much about it. As I said I tend to use coma on all things now cause nobody bats an eye on coma even if you used it incorrectly (unless you are doing English) but using - could literally give you accusations like I can't be fancy anymore. I still love me some semicolon tho.

omg me too i had multiple wattpad accts for diff fandoms😭😭 i made the jump from brackets nd dashes to em dashes when i first dabbled in the fic community of tumblr nd ever since then it stuck to me😭nd like u said, it truly sucks to see the progression of em dashes as a fic indicator to an ai indicator like if ud told me years ago it wld end up being like this i'd have punched u LMAOOOOO i somehow found it easier to phase out semicolons compared to em dashes like em dashes r a central part of how i write now nd itll def take time to shrug it off😭

She glanced around the gym loving how empty it was at the moment. She knew Jung Hari was coming back to school since one of her other Archery buddies had texted her about what happened on the bus.

She wanted to wait for her friend to comfort her but she was already skipping lunch and just wanted to see Hyoryung before everyone else.

No one but Nayeon, Namra, Gyeongsu, Wujin, Suhyeok, Jimin, Isak, and Hari knew the two girls were dating and mostly only Gyeongsu and Isak would tease (Y/n) about what would happen if Onjo caught her and Hyoryung making out.

(Y/n) sighed thinking about her girlfriend and how much she just wanted to kiss her. (Y/n) grabbed a wooden stick swinging and twirling it around in her hand like she was fighting with a sword.

When she suddenly heard kids screaming some running into the once empty gym. (Y/n) watched confused as something stumbled into the gym growling.

"What the fuck!" She whispered-yelled to herself rasing the wooden stick up just a bit. The thing spotted her and began running towards hers.

The girl instantly swung the stick like she was playing baseball and if she was that would surely be a home run.

The creature redirected its attention to another female student who screamed at being attacked her flesh being ripped and torn by the thing.

(Y/n) trembled in fear while backing up slowly and ultimately running out of the gym and into the halls. She passed multiple creatures or well zombies ripping at other students and chasing the ones who were still living.

She ran up some steps and down a hallway being pulled into a classroom by someone. (Y/n) looked up at the person seeing it was her step-sister Onjo.

(Y/n) was going to hug her but her eyes found another person. "Hyoryung" She cried out grabbing the girl tightly and sobbing into her body.

"I thought you didn't make it" Hyoryung also sobbed before grabbing (Y/n)'s face lifting it up to look into her eyes. "I love you so much. I was so scared. I was scared that I would lose you. You're my only happiness. You're my world." Hyoryung smashed her lips into (Y/n) mumbling how much she loved her as the kissed.

Everyone else smiled at the scene getting ready to tease both girls after but only one person stood there in shock.

"Since when?" Onjo finally asked ruining the cute moment.

"It's been a few months" Hyoryung admitted grabbing (Y/n)'s hand. "Everyone knew?"

"Well not everyone"

Onjo walked over to (Y/n) hugging her. "Weird surprise." She whispered smiling.

gosh that’s honestly such a good question especially these days where that motivation is lacking severely 😔💔 however !!! i feel like i have no solid/good answer either bc the thing that motivates me the most about writing is having these ideas pop into my head where i’ll go ‘oh my god ! i have to write that right now !’ but also having someone (or multiple people) who hold me accountable in that i either see them writing and go ‘omg this is motivating i should write too’ or reading fic that’s on the longer side is very inspiring in that i see that hard work that’s gone into it and go ‘wow i want to challenge myself to do that too!’ and that helps me a ton as well! in general i think my brain is a wild wild mess of idols that are constantly going in and out, and it’s hard for me to secure my focus enough to hone in on one idea at a time ;;-;
