there is something very romantic about being in a car ride watching light rain fall in the windows listening to french music. was i sick yesterday and slept poorly because of it? yeah. but after months of drought and even worse health, I’m still holding out to the good things, however small they may seem. i get to watch the rain transform nature and I get to feel like a part of me can be transformed too. if nature can bloom again, so can i. i’m choosing to believe that.

There's a word for this season—that in-between time when winter hasn’t fully let go, but spring is just beginning to take hold. The sun warms our skin, yet there’s still a lingering chill in the air. That word is Primaveral, meaning the very first stirrings of spring, the moment when the world is caught between two seasons, shifting but not quite settled.
