I guess to get her out of the maidenhood thing but wouldnt it have been so nice to watch her make the decision on her own as a form of growth

Character Intro: Soter (Kingdom of Ichor)

Nicknames- Mr. Safety by the people of Olympius

Father by his daughters

Age- 46 (immortal)

Location- Little Athens, New Olympus

Personality- He's generally a serious & stoic man. He's very overprotective of those he cares deeply for, sometimes to the point of being overbearing. He always follows the rules and rarely takes risks. He's married.

He has the standard abilities of a god except shapeshifting. As the god of safety his other powers/abilities include force field generation/manipulation, being able to telekinetically control safety equipment, and having an innate "danger sense."

Soter resides in a townhouse in the Little Athens neighborhood of New Olympus with his wife Praxidike (goddess of judicial punishment) and youngest daughter Calocagathia (Aggie) (goddess of nobility & goodness). He takes pride in his state-of-the-art home security system. If it's triggered, a powerful inescapable force field will contain anyone or thing that tripped it up. In the basement, he has quite the collection of antique armor dating back to the Titanomachy days.

Other members of Soter's family include his fraternal twin sister Soteria (goddess of safety), his nieces Eleos (Ellie) (goddess of mercy, pity, & compassion) and Eulabeia (goddess of caution), his brother-in-law Ktesios (god of the household), and his sister-in-law Amphictyonis (Amy) (goddess of diplomacy). He's not close with, but doesn't dislike his brother-in-law. The same can be said for Amy as well.

He, his wife, and their eldest daughters- Homonoia (goddess of concord) and Arete (goddess of virtue, valor, & excellence) are justices of the Grand Olympian Court. Soter's other job is overseeing a factory which manufactures safety equipment.

His go-to drink is a cold brew of earl grey tea, ginger ale, or a simple black coffee (with sugar). He'll also indulge in a glass of red wine once in a while.

Soter always, always follows traffic laws when driving, never going over the speed limit. He never drinks more than a glass of red wine so his blood alcohol level doesn't spike.

In the pantheon, he has a decent working relationship with the other justices in spite of their disagreements. Soter even has a personal friendship with Themis (Titaness of justice) as she & his wife are best friends and she's the godmother to his eldest daughters. He's also friends with Pathos (god of emotion), Iapetus (Titan god of mortality, pain, & death), Axiótimos (god of honor), Harpocrates (god of silence & discretion), Coeus (Titan god of foresight, intellect, & knowledge), Pallas (Titan god of battle & warcraft), Horkos (god of oaths), and Nomos (god of laws). Soter dislikes the deities who he feels lives "lawlessly" like Atë (goddess of mischief, ruin, blind folly, delusion, & downfall of heroes), Dyssebeia (goddess of ungodliness & impiety), or Kakia (goddess of vice & moral wrongdoing).

Lately he's been worried that he's not been spending enough time with his youngest daughter. Soter considers it a treat if he's free to help her with homework.

His favorite treats are the blueberry scones from Hollyhock's Bakery & the warm buttery croissants from The Bread Box.

A guilty pleasure of his are the olympian sized potato wedges with a cheeseburger (with extra cheese) from Olympic Chef.

He primarily watches the news on TV, followed by historical documentaries, and an episode here & there of The Agnostic Network.

Soter's been having a hard time "letting go" of his eldest daughters- dealing with their independence & their move to the state of Athens three hours away. Even though he sees Arete and Homonoia when they work, he still suggests they talk on the phone as well as video chat every other day.

After losing a wager with Zeus (god of the sky, thunder, & lightning), he had to get a tattoo. Soter traveled to the Underworld where Achlys (goddess of the death mist, poison, misery, & sadness) did the tattoo- a small caution wet floor sign on his butt. Only his wife knows about it.

In his free time he enjoys working out, chess, reading, football (soccer), basketball, swimming, fencing, pottery, & spending time with his family.

Soter can also cook, his favorite meal being giouvetsi with a cucumber basil salad. He can also make extra hearty lamb & chicken gyros!

Community Demigod Headcannon/Fanfic Idea

They all go to Camp Half-Blood and meet there. Maybe they have to go on a quest at some point. I don't know. But anyway these are my ideas of who their godly parents would be.

Troy - Son of Ares

Troy is a jock and he gives off a very himbo-like energy. And as shown with Frank not all children of Ares/Mars are aggressive. I think Troy is one of those people who is able to get along with everyone at camp. And everyone knows that during Capture the Flag Troy and Abed’s cabins have to be paired together because the two would never fight against each other. The one time they were on opposite sides it diverged from Capture the Flag to an all out war (Like the blanket fort vs pillow fort war).

Annie - Daughter of Athena

Annie is the most studious person in the study group. During high school she had a 4.0 and is dedicated to her studies. 

Britta - Daughter of Demeter

I feel like out of all the demigods the children of Demeter would be the ones who are typically the most into activism. Honestly I don’t know how else to explain it, it’s just how I see her.

Pierce - Satyr

Pierce is a satyr like Coach Hedge. Honestly I just can’t see his character as young. If he was the son of a god, I would probably say Dionysus. I prefer him being a satyr though. An asshole satyr, but a satyr. 

Jeff - Son of Hermes

Jeff was a lawyer and is easily able to manipulate people in the show. Hermes is known for being a thief and mischievous. I think it fits.

Abed - Son of either Apollo or Aphrodite

Ok for Abed I couldn’t decide. I know that Apollo probably fits more because Abed is so into pop culture, but I just love the idea of him being the son of Aphrodite. For one it would mean that he would still have his single dad and a mother who left. But also I just love the idea of everyone being confused about how he is the son of Aphrodite. But it is shown in the show that Abed is able to be very charming and pretty much everyone in the show and who watch the show fall in love with his character. And I like imagining all his sisters and brothers being very overprotective over him. So yes, while Apollo might seem to outwardly fit more, I just love the idea of him being the son of Aphrodite.

Shirley

Shirley is another one that I had trouble with. I would love to say that she is the daughter of Hestia or Hera, but neither of them have children who are demigods. And there are a ton that could fit but aren’t perfect. She could be a daughter of Aphrodite. I don’t really have an argument but it could work. She could be a daughter of Tyche, who is the goddess of chance and fortune. Again I could see that working but I don’t have much idea of how it would fit other than her wanting to be an entrepreneur. I could see her being the daughter of Iris. Shirley is such a happy person and rainbows are usually a happy sign. I could even see her being a daughter of Dionysus. We have seen such as in Troy’s 21st birthday episode that Shirley was a heavy drinker in the past, but she is trying to get past that. So maybe the same thing could be said with this. Her father is Dionysus and when she was younger she would use that as part of her excuse for why she was drinking a lot, but when she was 16 she got pregnant (or maybe that is when they go on the quest) and she hasn’t gone back to drinking ever since. She isn’t proud of her past, but she is proud of her journey. Honestly, of these ideas for Shirley the order from which ones I like the most to least is: Dionysus, Tyche, Iris, Aphrodite.
