#forgive the low quality dfghfds it was just an experiment #now to do the DRAW ANYONE ELSE challenge #siggy draws #he is my blorbo. my muse. i guess #don't get me wrong. i am CRINGING and SWEATING at just the thought of uploading this.#have i been drawing almost every day my entire life? yes. does my style still change all the time? yes!#and i'm mostly self-taught so i struuuuggle a lot. i'll finally admit that reference pictures help immensely. no shit lol.#i learned a lot in the last 2 years!!! there are some really ugly ones i didn't show but i kept the cringe old ones sdfghfds help.#i mean they're still here on tumblr so i can't exactly hide them #you can kind of see when i actually started to use reference pictures. and when i got more used to using a tablet #idk digital art is so hard. it's a whole other world. but i'm in it now and haven't drawn traditionally in forever #i can also literally see how i used to CRUSH my nibs while drawing. all those really thin lines?? i pressed too hard lol #i've actually kept all my nibs since i started drawing digitally and....... it's too many fghfds #that one slightly more realistic nicky in the bottom right of the first collage lmaooo. i should finish him... maybe... it's haaard.#the top right on the first collage and bottom right on the second one are good comparisons ;_; they're both pirate!nico gifts for lily!!#i'm feeling sentimental now omg

#I have to rant before I fucking scream #so at my job I am currently handling: marketing jobs (six seperate ones)#running a website basically and uploading one new blog post a day #various projects #invoices #organizing literally the whole office #both physically and in our g-drive #and they just gave me the bday/anniversary board to work on #so I’ve been working on it in as a decompressor between other shit #I’m ahead on all my fucking jobs #so I had some free time #started working on the bday board and my boss turns to me and says ‘do you need something to do?’#in the most snotty annoyed voice ever #because she fucking hates when I’m working on the board #EVEN THOUGH SHE FUCKING ASSIGNED THIS SHIT TO ME #and started just throwing tasks at me #IM GONNA FUCKING SCREAM #I ALREADY HAVE FUCKING ENOUGH #FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU #anyway I’m in the bathroom seething so I don’t snap on this fucking bitch #and this is why no writing has gotten down #because I get home from this bs and have to sob alone in my room for like three hours to fucking recover #only to wake up and come back into the office to want to kms all over again #I fucking hate it here #I fucking hate this job

That he's moping that he's rolling his eyes that he wasn't talking (that he was ignoring him) and that ruined his entire day. He looks at Will, Will just doesn't see him. So we don't either.

hi anon!!!!! tbh I can't say for sure because I haven't been around from the beginning and also I'm not that deep into those spaces where these kinds of conflicts usually happen, so I'm probably gonna tag a couple of older mutuals who might be able to answer ur question more accurately, but I will say my own two cents.

from what i've gathered since ulting mx I can tell you that there is definitely some conflict and tension going on between the korean side and the intl side but in comparison to some other fandoms i've seen i'd say it's a bit milder. i feel like the two sides mostly ignore each other unless there is major thing going on. like for example i think (again, i wasn't there and im just relaying what ive heard over the years) during the whole wonho situation in 2019 was one of the times kmbb and intl clashed bc from what ive heard, the majority of the stans who wanted wonho out were korean while most intl stans were supporting wonho and wanted him to stay/get back in mx. also everytime monsta x has overseas schedules there are a group of kmbb who really whine and complain about not breathing the same air as mx for two days (at one point some members addressed it and kinda scolded them for their behaviour during their world tour).

#i think overall both korean and intl fans of mx are pretty mature for the most part (ofc there are exceptions)#like in some other fandoms if you get into the korean side you see a ton of delulu behavior but recently kmbb have shown to be pretty matur #like with the vape thing for example #or rightfully criticizing the quality of some mmg episodes #other than that i can't really think of a time were there was fanwar between the two groups like that #i dont wanna start ranting but one of the groups i just compared mx fandom to (in my head) was starlights (vixx's fandom)#their korean fans were so damn annoying #they all truly thought they were better than us intlstarlights and were actively trying to gatekeep vixx content from us #those days contents weren't automatically on yt and subbed quickly so it made things more difficult bc we had to rely on them to record-#-stuff from tv and upload them and they straight up wouldn't do it out of spite #or refused to share clips and audio stuff from concerts and especially musicals.#they were so entitled and insufferable ksjdksdj #but yeah i never felt or saw this level of hate and distrust between kmbb and intl mbb #ask #anon #mentions

Tell the truth comic fans challenge. When's the last time you read a comic and how many have you actually read?

P.S. This isn't me being gatekeepy btw I'm being genuine because I'm gonna be honest I've probably only actually read about five series and every thing else I've gotten from movies/series, online, or fanon. I know all the important events. Have I actually read them? No because my ADHD just wouldn't. And I can't be assed having to read important events if it's in a shit run by a bad writer.

#Also ngl I was determined to read from the very start but. I would not have the time for that in any life so lmao #I have read quite a few of the early Batman comics and do actually hope to read as many of his as possible #But I have not actually sat and read all of the Batfam origins yet tho I intend to #I know them all and I've seen the panels just never actually sat down and gone through it all #I also have read a lot of the Golden Era Batman and Superman team up comics where they basically act like parents #Taking Dick out on family day trips. It's a fun read tbh #And back when I was a early teen and couldn't afford comics I watched YouTuber who would read them for you and tell you about them/show you #So I've read half of Batman Eternal from that but he stopped uploading vids about it which made me really sad lmao #So I need to get around to reading the rest myself/rereading it because it's been a while #I think I liked the story but wouldn't canonise it in my mind #I also read a bit of Suicide Sqaud that way I think? So that too #I totally don't pirate read Injustice #I like it but I think some of it is iffy. But that's the case with comics in general #Batman: Wayne Family Adventures is the only I actually keep up with #Probably because it's more accessible but also because it's the kind of comic I've wanted about the Batfam for ages #There's room for improvement and I would like to see how one similar to that style would be made like. In the fully canon mainstream comics #Because I'm aware it's very fanon/fan servicey but honesty after all the DC chaos we deserve it. But I would like to see more family #Urban Legends is really good. But Idk. I'm very particular about my vision lmao #Let me be a writer is what I'm saving. Or make a competant TV show *Glares at Titans*#Titans is good but God do they fucking butcher Jason and Bruce. I am sick of DC TV and film adaptions doing the Batfam dirty #Like. The animated movies #Tim just is never a thing ever. Why #Titans does have him and I like that. But I haven't watched that season ngl because I don't like how they write Bruce #Like. He doesn't. Look for cjild soldiers bruh. I'm disappointed with Titans because they coulda done so well #But Bruce is far too old and they made Dick almost murderous with him and they fucked up Jason. I haven't seen Tim's-#-Characterisation yet but I'm scared to at this point #Alfred must be fucking dead because he would be SO OLD if Bruce is already like 60 bruh. No offence to the actor but yeah.#Chella Man is the best thing about the show. Tbf I adore the cast other than Bruce. #random rambles #Technically I'm done with this month's header since yesterday.#Practically I've been feeling so insecure about it I've been procrastinating looking for an icon or uploading it at all #Like it *was* natural to have a downgrade in themes I've said it myself a lot of times. After 24+ themes it's understandable I'd run out–#of inspiration (or even simply material) for the very cool stuff #That said. I did very much spend the whole entire day from when I woke up to when I (started studying at past 2am) went to sleep on it #That's what I get for working with the anime tbh. Bones artstyle is ugly there's little to be done about it #While making it I also came up with other two themes concepts.#One is probably going to replace September's plan and the other idk will probably slid to the next year #Idk looking at this year's planned themes lineup it all feels full of things I'm not skilled enough to make...#On top of everything this February's theme wasn't even what I had initially planned!! The one I had initially planned was a chapter 33 pane #Idk why I didn't follow up with it. Maybe I've just grown to think manga panels are too simple (terrible choice) (rip)#I think the thing that bugs me with both the initially picked image and the anime header I made yesterday–#is that there's no smooth transition with the blog. And I know it's not a big deal but pretty much all my themes do and it's bothering me..#And it shouldn't. Like nearly everyone uses an header that is sharply separate from the blog and they make it work #Uhm..............#Idk I should be studying besides.#I think I'll either go looking for an icon and see how the overall theme looks on the blog. Maybe I'll like it better then.#Or I'll just start over and see if I can use the ch 33 panel I had in mind and see if I'll like THAT better #It'd just be a shame if after all the time I've spent on it yesterday I'd just let it lie unused on my computer #There's also the fact that black and white of the manga doesn't feel very February-esque... I’m very fortunate that I’ve had someone really encourage and challenge me when it comes to writing recently! I’ve started to write a few little original pieces and I have a plot coming together in my head for a book I’ll probably never write but I’ve absolutely found my love for writing longer pieces again and it’s very exciting!

#asks answered <3 #anon #becca turns 23 #i fell out of love with writing long pieces for such a long time there #but last Monday I started writing a slightly longer piece #in my head it was going to be 500 words maximum when I started #i wanted it written by the end of that day #and the only free time I really had was a one hour flight #but I got so hooked on what I was writing I didn’t get it finished by the end of the flight #and I made some free time in the evening to finish it up #and it was still only 1.6k but that feeling of wanting to keep going with a piece is something I’d really lost #it was really rewarding getting it uploaded and feeling pleased with it #and then getting feedback on it was lovely!#I’m going to adapt it to post on here too

currently subbing jonghyuns guest appearance on kangta's starry night. i would say it's a different vibe from the one i subbed previously

#this one's also an hour long so i may need more time to sit down and finish it #im impatient to go through everything but i reckon im really tired these days #so i made it a goal to sub at least ten minutes every other day #it's a shame i couldn't sub for months because korean feels a bit rusty in my head #in a sense that i know what they're saying but i am having a hard time wording things in english #and the latter isn't even my first language so im juggling between three languages while subbing #which is also why i had to pause the subbing for the secret readers club because like 6 ppl talk at the same time #and my brain genuinely cannot keep up atm #but im hoping to finish this one asap #i was thinking of uploading small bits here and there not to keep ppl waiting but we'll see #i missed this i missed doing these things but starting again is hard #im very responsible but at the same time ive been struggling with staying productive and on schedule

I finished my second ever video edit (both are of the Phantom of The Paradise 1974 film) and I'm so extremely happy with how it turned out that I can't stop smiling :-)
