Day 3. Sensei
Yeah since now all of them had the chance to be teachers I think they all deserve to be in this spot. The fact that Lloyd is a teacher in Dragon Rising?? Inspired

Once Upon a Time drives me fucking insane because WHY is there so much wasted potential!!!! Jefferson just disappeared?? They turned August into a child and we like never see him again THEY COULD HAVE GIVEN HENRY A FRIEND LIKE HE ONLY HANGS OUT WITH HIS GRANDPARENTS AND HIS THERAPIST
Actually speaking of his therapist the POTENTIAL they had with Regina and Archie?? Like they were kinda cute and now they don’t even talk to each other like even as friends or anything?? WHY
AND GRAHAM he deserved sooo much better (no not his relationship with Regina pls never speak about that) RUBY TOO CAUSE WHY DID THEY DO HER LIKE THAT
But you’re telling me that 3 people in this town knew everything and they never talked to each other?? Why did Gold and Jefferson never talk in Storybrooke?? Like Rumple was literally the one to introduce him to Regina in the first place
AND WHEN GRAHAM WAS REMEMBERING WHY DIDNT JEFFERSON GET HIM? GRAHAM WAS LITERALLY RUNNING AROUND THE WOODS CHASING A MAGICAL WOLF like if Jefferson had gotten him on his side Emma might have been less inclined to think he was a psychopath
Same with August!! If he had literally talked to either of them things could have been fixed so much faster or they at least would know they’re not fucking crazy like make a little “in the know” club it could’ve been fun

for my money, labru is head and shoulders above other ships involving them simply due to the unmatched yap potential, i imagine them feeding off each other's energy like they're slipstreaming in mario kart until they start going fast enough to break the sound barrier
#dungeon meshi#dunmesh spoilers#labru#the Compounding Yap Effect#thinking about kabru wanting to understand the value of monsterhood despite how much pain they caused him ...#laios wanting to understand the value of humanity despite how much pain they caused him ...#none of this even mentioning how much kabru needs a person like laios to spur his character growth#kabru is a schemy schemer who schemes and it's one of his best qualities#but it's also what gets him killed over and over again in an attempt to get closer to laios and co when none of his usual tricks worked#it took until the absolute 11th hour where kabru HAD to choose#between potentially unlocking the secrets of the dungeon or giving it up to the canaries and losing his chance forever#if kabru had fallen back on what he knew he would have killed laios then and never got what he wanted#laios forcing kabru to be honest with his feelings#(a feeling kabru had buried so deep he was barely aware he had it in the first place)#is what finally gets laios to stop and listen#and he finally gives kabru enough of a reason to trust him and make kabru stop the canaries and give the party time to escape#and it's ONLY then that kabru is able to get what he wants#legit i cant imagine a more fulfilling ending for kabru than getting to directly engage his interest in a way that directly helps people#with someone who both needs wants and sincerely appreciates his skills#literally riding off into the sunset gay ass ending im#im going to be sick#day 28 being normal about them

would you like to talk about how bad the mha ending was hella
as much as i would love to give like. a comprehensive response i genuinely dont think i can get my words together just yet without it being a constant unintelligble stream of 'AND ANOTHER THING-' and bc it's become quite torn in the fandom on if the chapter was good or bad i want like. an actual coherent response here. so i will reblog this if/when i can word it but know IM NOT FUCKING HAPPY
#paragraphs and paragraphs about the villains' endings alone. hawks hpsc president. midoriya's ending#the fact hero society is barely changed and the changes that do happen feel very much TELLING the reader it happened#as opposed to actually showing us how society changed on it. this is smthn ik people will argue w me about#bc yes it was a 400+ chapter manga arguably showing us how society changed but like. did it actually show that#like do u honestly think any community would watch televised battles between TEENAGERS and bad guys#and have the majority of them go 'gah! i cant help but sympathise with the bad guy who just suckerpunched child extra no.28!'#so like. why are they all suddenly on board with massive systemic reinvention. where's the rage where's the bitterness#this wasn't a story on showing the villains as redeemable and working towards society sympathising with them#and slowly painfully coming to a conclusion where japan was ready to change as a COLLECTIVE#this was a story of showing a group of redeemable villains (first step CHECK) getting DEFEATED IN BATTLE#THEY ALL FUCKING DIED EXCEPT SPINNER AND PRESUMABLY COMPRESS#WE DONT EVEN FUCKING KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO DABI AT THE END ONLY THAT HE WAS PUT IN THE EXACT SAME POSITION#HE WAS IN WHEN HE WOKE UP FROM HIS COMA AND DABI WAS BORN. 'DABI' AS A PERSONA MEANT NOTHING#we still have an abuser who didn't come to justice. we still have the corrupt government body now being led by the guy they trafficked#and abused and conditioned into the perfect soldier. do u think maybe his opinions are a little biased in regards to that gov. body#maybe. perhaps. slightly. and we still have hero charts!!!!!! every kid in the last chap is still obsessed w becoming a hero!!!!#and dont get me STARTEDDDDDDDDD on midoriya being a teacher. 'i think it's cute he finally gets a life of peace 🥺#this way he can help the next generation directly 🥺' womp to the fucking womp he was supposed to be the world's no.1 hero#he barely sees his friends anymore. 'it's realistic to adulthood!' i dont want realism in my superpowered teen and up manga#put them in the avengers mansion NOW#so as you can see i waffled regardless of saying i specifically wasn't gonna do that and some of these points bother me more than others#with some being personal I Didn't Like It and some being i genuinely truly believe it to be bad writing#but my summary is mha ultimately felt like a story where a group of individuals unlearned (eh) the beliefs of a toxic society#and tried to save the people that society failed and then they themselves DID NOT FUCKING SAVE THEM#(i have a hit on the redemption via death trope on the dark web for ten bajillion pounds)#and while yeah that isn't objectively an evil story to tell i think 1) it was done poorly#and 2) isn't what a lot of people believed the premise to be nor what i think horikoshi himself was trying to write#ask#mha spoilers#mha

Creators I love you but it's time to wake up
Among rumors about our tumblr user data being sold off to Midjourney/Generative AI, recent Extremely transphobic events (that have been ongoing) coming to a head, another extremely concerning internet censorship bill being pushed in upper levels of government, and a general air of frustration over how the site belongs to and is operated by perhaps the second stupidest CEO (second only to twitters own) of our age, I'm very done with the last few vestiges of what the old internet held for artists.
And if you're reading this, you probably are too.
I know we're tired. We are all tired. It is not always viable to pack up shop and move, again and again and again.
From tumblr to twitter to anywhere else we've ever grown up posting, things no longer work. Our audiences are kneecapped by aggressive and hostile algorithms, our reach is abysmal - if we aren't shadow-banned or silenced for one (transphobic) reason or another, we're thrust into an ever growing pit of hostility where the only thing that drives clicks is fighting and contention.
We're tired. We're so fucking tired. We aren't businesses, we aren't content mills, we cannot keep this pace that modern social media has set for us, to wring every ounce of creativity out of us to profit from and leave us rotting.
The key to staying afloat here, and I cannot stress this enough, is to stay connected to your peers.
Pack up and move as units if you must. Exodus from the sites that are killing us. Push your entire friend group of artists to move from one site to the next that promises you a kinder experience.
Art drives movements, it drives change, it is all that encompasses being human. If you take that away from the shitty places, they will be left with nothing but a cesspit of inhumanity and the people who follow you will be more incentivized than ever to move with you.
Yes, this is terrifying. There are no guarantees. There never was, and never are, and never will be.
But stay connected. Stay human.
Support each other and be willing to hold hands and jump when we all - as a group - need to jump from the flames we're all trying to convince ourselves wont kill us before rescue comes.
Rescue isn't coming, rescue will be found hand in hand with each other. I'm offering you my hand, please take it. There's always a new start, there are always helping hands reaching for you. You have to look up from the doom-scroll long enough to see and take them.

nah honestly only boo having book's character like kang when book is TWENTY EIGHT years old & sea is NINETEEN is foul bruh 💀 I was so happy they casted book in this for his first solo role out of his ship but the age gap is insane, now knowing the whole purpose of book's character is to create messiness between kang & mork, this honestly kinda feels like a miscasting 😬

Day 2 - Spring fling
A/N: three musketeers banter, tiva
Tag for blocking/following: 30 days of spring
Prompt: Spring fling
Word count: 482
-
“Well, well, well,” Tony said holding up McGee’s phone to show Ziva the lock screen photo . “Looks like Timmy’s been hiding his spring fling from us.”
McGee rolled his eyes and snatched his phone from Tony’s hand. “Are you jealous, Tony?”
“Why would I be jealous, McGee, I’m happy for you, I’m just disappointed you didn’t share the good news with us.” He glanced at Ziva, walked back to his desk and sat down. “Honesty goes a long way.”
Ziva pursed her lips, and threw a paper ball at him.
McGee scoffed. “The way you were honest about your winter fling?”
Tony faked innocence. “What winter fling?”
“Honesty goes a long way, Tony,” McGee chided, and looked at Ziva. “He was seeing someone, right?”
“Hmm,” Ziva said and looked pensively. “He has been less annoying the past few months.”
Tony threw the ball of paper back at Ziva, only to have her catch it midair with a smirk.
“What happened to her,” McGee asked.
Tony turned to him, and crossed his arms over his chest. “She’s no longer a winter fling.”
Ziva narrowed her eyes at him. “So, what is she now?”
“Well, it’s spring, so…” He shrugged and held her gaze.
McGee’s phone beeped, and a smile spread on his face as he read the message. Absentmindedly, he told Tony, “Flings don’t tend to last half a year.”
“I’m going for a four seasons fling, Timmy, you wouldn’t understand.”
“Does she?” Ziva asked with an amused smile.
Tony frowned at her and tilted his head to the side. “Does she what?”
She briefly touched her earlobe. “Does she understand she’s more than a fling?”
“Of course, she does, she’s very smart.” His eyebrows raised at her tense expression, and he smiled softly. “Except when it comes to relationships…very romantically dysfunctional.”
Ziva chuckled. “Like you.”
Tony nodded. “It’s why we work so well together.”
Ziva glanced at McGee who was still glued to his phone. “Perhaps she would be interested in a summer fling.”
“Only a summer fling?” Tony challenged her.
“Some summers can last a lifetime,” she said, staring at him intently.
McGee put his phone down with a thud, startling them both. “Just admit it,” he said in mild frustration.
Tony frowned and briefly shook his head. “Admit what?”
“That you two are dating,” McGee looked at them pointedly, “each other.”
Tony and Ziva glanced at one another, ready to deny the allegation, but McGee didn’t give them a chance. “Look, I won’t tell Gibbs, if that’s what you’re worried about.”
Their eyes went wide.
“Tell me what?” Gibbs said from behind McGee.
McGee paled, and stammered, “That, um, Tony’s, his winter fling turned into a spring fling.”
“McGee!” Tony hissed.
Gibbs took a long sip of his coffee while staring at Tony, then Ziva. “Congratulations, didn’t think you two could keep it out of the office this long.”
