Hey, y’all….

I’m working 40-45 hours a week, trying to get time to write. I’ve been trying to balance family, work, and real life with RP.

I’m not as inspired of late by some of my threads, and it’s hard to juggle RP life with my IRL friends, work, and family.

This isn’t a hiatus, but I am freeing myself up for more casual RP, meme starters, and full epic tales, so long as you don’t mind that it takes a few days to reply.

I’ve had a lot going on in my life, and at my age, I’ve come to realize (with grief therapy)that the stress of trying to keep up with everything isn’t really worth it anymore.

I’m stepping back a bit, but not leaving.

I need time to get my priorities straight, and start to focus on myself, my career, and real life more than here.

Since losing my dad I have been leaned on too hard by my mother, who has narcissistic personality disorder.

The unaccustomed added stress has been affecting me emotionally and mentally for the past four years, worse over the past year.

I feel like I have had to mask myself, and lost interest in many things I used to greatly enjoy.

I’m sorry if this upsets anyone, but I need time to myself and my more local friends and family to handle these events in my life right now.

((OOC: hello there! I am here to inform that I am aware that my lore for kazehiki is exactly the same as the canon one. I’ve made some adjustments to my approach to the character accordingly, but I will be expanding on it as I would like to. I am unable to find the official website so if there is more lore that I’m not aware of I apologize but as far as I know, there isn’t that much. I’m sorry, this isn’t necessarily directed at anyone i just felt the need to clarify because I had only just become aware of the fact the kazehiki has canon lore.))

Remember, if you’re just beginning to draw, please don’t be discouraged that your art doesn’t look as good as others. There’s so much you have to take into account when comparing your art to others; especially if your style is different from their’s. With art of any kind, there’s no rush. Art is such an amazing journey of learning that people cut short because they immediately compare it to people who have had professional training, have been doing it for years, or just have natural talent. Please, please, please, be patient with yourself! If anyone puts you down because they think your art is bad, screw ‘em! If someone makes fun of you because ‘I drew so much better than you when I was your age’, they most likely didn’t and also, screw ‘em!! Only compare your progress in whatever art form you practice to your own. Progress cannot be judged based on someone else’s opinion or progression, only your own. There’s kids that can paint you like Mona Lisa from birth, but that doesn’t make your talent and your progress any less valid. If you don’t like something about your art, change it! You’ll make mistakes and changes in your art for damn near the whole time you’re doing it, hell I’ve been doing this for 10 years and I’m still trying to figure out what the hell I’m doing (also I still refuse to draw legs because I can’t). With any form of art, writing, drawing, sculpting, etc. It doesn’t matter how detailed your art is, how others perceive it, what other people are doing with their art; as long as you are satisfied with what you’re doing (and you’re not hurting anyone) and ESPECIALLY if it makes you happy, keep doing it. Never let anyone sell you short on what talent you have, and never be afraid to try something new in your art!

hi, everyone! happy scarvio release day date! 

i was able to convince my dad to buy it for me after all so i got it preordered a couple hours ago, so i’ll be getting it sometime on opening weekend (i’m not saying tomorrow because igot it from.        Am*zon. and they’ve been terrible with shipping games i preordered every single time so i dont trust that i’ll get it tomorrow) but i’ll be doing what i can to remain active both on here and on navy. 

i’ll be tagging spoilers for the game with the tags #pokemon scarvio spoilers, #scarvio spoilers, #pokemon spoilers. no fancy tags for them, just for easier tracking and blocking. i’ll be keeping story beats and new pokemon not yet revealed beneath a read more.  i’ll also be tagging interactions i have with new characters from the game as spoilers.

i’ll keep spoilers tagged until january 1, 2023. after that, i won’t be keeping them tagged.

//OOC RAMBLING AHEAD

Hi so it’s early in the morning and I need to ramble! So this goes for all the backlash that one of my friends got for asking for representation in this fandom. Who cares if it ain’t satanic?! I have a few friends who are agnostic and satanists and they have a lot in their representation on how these characters are portrayed! So what if you say it will make others uncomfortable, if it makes you uncomfortable then skip over it. Or if it is represented then you aren’t looking. No. I have. I have only seen how it’s generally represented.

I want diversity in these ghouls and people in this fandom! For a fandom that is about finding out who you really are and supporting yourself and others…yall ain’t really doing that…and honestly it’s getting sick and tiring to come on here each day and see that artists or other creators are getting hate on. Or just the general hate for putting a headcon on a character.

You guys really need to reevaluate everything at this point. Like god damn…some of us want to see the problems that we have represented correctly! Dont make these characters perfect! The papas will have a bit of a tummy because GUESS WHAT THEY AINT IN THEIR TWENTIES! THEY ARE MIDDLE AGE AND ABOVE! The ghouls aren’t going to be perfect creatures! Give me a ghoul who has body issues! Give me a ghoul who has a mental health issue…I WANT TO SEE VARIETY!

This fandom really has become toxic and I just wanted to meet friends just to talk about the music and how the whole ministry would work. Now I kinda am rethinking going on line and doing this whole role play blog if you don’t want to see Dew or the others have real world problems…
