Okay I want this on record that I thought of this idea before I knew how much of a freak Macklin celebrini is okay? So he’s very ooc in this

Basically! This wip is a willmack fic with Macklin being a student manager for BU men’s hockey team and one night he meets a handsome blonde stranger at a bar, he goes home with the stranger and they begin a forbidden romance because PLOT TWIST!! The stranger is BC men’s hockey teams will smith!!

Anyways Mack starts really falling for Will when something terrible happens! Now Will isn’t picking up his phone and Mack is fired from the team and he’s heartbroken

Was what they had real? Or was it just a game to Will??

The bar was hot and the drinks sucked. That's all Macklin could think about as he watched people dance around him. He didn't normally go out after games, especially after away games and definitely not after games against Boston College. But they had won and while Macklin wanted to go celebrate with the team, he didn't get invited. Well— okay Aiden did say he could join everyone but he didn't want to be that guy. The team already looked at him weirdly for being a manager for the same team his older brother played on. But it wasn't like he made the lines or decided how long someone played. He mainly just organized equipment, took roll call, and made sure that the guys were passing their classes enough so that they could play.

But that brings him back to now, in a sweaty college bar near BC that the Boston University hockey team was decidedly not at. He just wanted to go out, maybe dance with a cute guy, then go back to the hotel where the team was staying before they left for their next game. Unfortunately, Macklin had forgotten how awkward he could be when left to his own devices. Not even the alcohol he was drinking could give him the confidence to go up to someone and dance with them. He checked the time on his phone, thinking that maybe he should just cut his loses and leave. He pulled up Uber, ready to call a car when someone came up next to him.

It was another guy around his age. He had a head full of curly blonde hair and a look on his face that either meant that Macklin was in for a fun night or that he should start running. The guy looked him up and down, his gaze making Macklin's cheeks heat up with the intensity of his look.

“Hey,” was all the guy said before he stepped back, giving Macklin another once over before grabbing his hand and pulling him in, “You look lonely.” he said, his voice sending shivers down his spine.

1. What kind of person is your OC in a crisis? Are they calm and collected? Do they panic? Or are they chronically the cause?

IC: I’m good enough, so it don’t really matter.

OOC: always pretty level-headed during a crisis, it’s hard to place mackenzie in a situation that he can’t handle, no matter how stressful. he doesn’t express his panic if he is ever panicking. compared to 2k mack, who has a tendency to get overwhelmed really fast and is prone to outbursts of anger in a situation he can’t control.

4. Does your OC have a failed friendship or relationship they still think about? What happened? Is it an unresolved regret or is there a chance for reconciliation?

IC: There ain’t no one I can think of.

OOC: when he was still fairly young, he met a young woman shortly after going on the run from home. their relationship was brief, and he thought he may have wanted to settle down, but he realized he’d never be happy with a woman. out of frustration, he simply never saw her again. he regrets how it occurred, but not that he didn’t pursue her. modern mackenzie regrets settling down with his highschool sweetheart and causing so many issues for her. she doesn’t allow him to see his daughters, and at this rate, he doesn’t know if he ever will…

10. Is your OC sentimental or pragmatic? Do they keep mementos or only what they need to survive? Have they always been this way or did something happen to make them change?

IC: Ain’t got the kinda room or need to hang onto random bullshit I don’t need.

OOC: he likes to play as though he’s all tough, but there’s a few things that he’ll hold onto if he deems them special. it’s more so that he can’t afford to keep important things than it is that he doesn’t want them. one of the things he holds onto is a button from one of his mother’s dresses. insignificant to anyone else, yes, but completely priceless to him, and he’ll never admit it’s source. modern mackenzie frequently loses things, but he also holds onto a couple small things.

Parents are allowed on campus to visit their children, however, they must be staying off campus. CURFEW IS STILL ENFORCED and no student may stay off campus without a pass to do so and approval of the Headmaster.

Curfew rules will stand for all students.

Parents/siblings 18 years or older are allowed to visit - no minors are allowed.

Parents + their submissive(s) are allowed

Parents are allowed on campus to visit and to see everything, but they must stay overnight in town. Hotels in town are promoting discounts for parents of institute students.

Parents being here does not mean students will get away with poor behavior choices, punishments will still stand if earned.

PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS. I know it's a lot, but it's important. Alrighty so here we go! This will require all of the characters in a family figuring this out so PLEASE remember to be adults about this as decisions are made. DO NOT THROW FITS/GUILT TRIP OTHERS if you're not getting your way. Compromise is key.

If you so desire, you may have one writer from the family build a “parent blog” for one or more parents to be playable. WE ARE LIMITING EACH FAMILY TO ONE BLOG, however, if you have more than one parent coming they can all talk on the same blog. Or, you can have both parents come and only one be ‘active’ if you’d prefer. Self paras with non-blog parents are fine. In regards to the parents, for characters who have been here through a couple of these, some FC’s have been determined previously, and any previous information is listed on the Google Sheet linked further down this post.

OOC Rules to Parent’s Week: 

Must talk over ideas/plots with all family members if it involves the parents. 

Someone will have to play the parents who will be active and visiting - AGAIN - ONLY ONE BLOG PLEASE. You can have multiple parents on that blog, that’s fine. But just one blog. 

You can also have parents coming to the school, but aren’t ‘active’ (for self paras or things where they won’t be talking to other students)

You DO NOT have to have parents come if all writers in that family do not want them to. 

The person playing the family should be a writer in that family. However, we will allow outside people to do it, keeping the following in mind: 

- That writer cannot write outside of their own family again (meaning, if Mack writes the Berry parents, for example, she cannot write parents for any other non-Mack families).

- This person should know the family well enough to be able to play the parents without there being issues with HCs.

- YOU MUST HAVE TIME TO TAKE ON A PARENT ROLE. Other writers are counting on these roles for plot points and development. If you cannot commit to being on DAILY - do not agree to play a parent role. 

- Seriously, I can’t stress this enough. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t agree if you’re only going to be on once or twice during the week of this event.

We need to make sure everything is alright and fits within the world/school and we also need to watch out how triggering things are happening. Wolf Quest players are pure gold PART2

(Also Gold left the game pretty soon after) The we had a time skip of 4-5 months, which gives Oberon and Noa and Rene time to trust and get to know each other. (Oh they're in the pack now BTW because it was about 18:00 and they needed to go at 19:00 and we need a time skip so yeah.) Also during this time Noa and Mack become mates so yippee! uhm cg guys /j. Okay so like during the time skip we kinda had a thing in /ooc chat we were kinda joking around and the topic came up that since Noa had a mate now Rene should get one and I think it was Noa that said it but it was like 'Oberon and Rene would be great together' So, it was developed that Rene got a crush on Oberon during the time skip so uhm good job Oberon xp After the Time skip >:33 So everyone wakes up and Oberon is like [O] (Very awkwardly) "Uhm I'ma go hunt... bye" [R] "I coming too!" [M] "Aw screw it I'm hungry too." Okay, so then after that we all find an elk herd and Rene attacks an Elk, I attack the elk and then Mack attacks the elk so we kill the elk. (I should mention at this point it was 19:00 so Noa had to leave but before they left they said in chat something along the lines of 'Feel free to make Noa's disappearance like that they wandered off and never came back and is presumed dead.') Mack eats his share and leaves. Oberon takes his share and moves it over to a tree and has some sort of angst that's like [O] *OH NO WHY CANT I TRUST MY PACKMATES ENOUGH TO EAT WITH THEM BECAUSE I DO TRUST THEM I SWEAR OH NOES* (Okay maybe a bit more sophisticated then that but yk close enough :3.) Okay, so this is when Night (As I said before I don't think that was their real name just I kinda forgot :p) joins and Rene and I are still near the carcass and so Night approaches and is like [N] 'Uhm. BIO 

Stacey Evans is the epitome of "princess." Living her entire adolescence with a mess of older brothers (plus two twins) set things in motion very early. She had always been well loved and well protected by hardworking parents and older brothers who would do absolutely anything for her. This quickly led to her little princess lifestyle. Her family worked hard to always keep a roof over their head, even when times got really hard for the family. Being one of the youngest, Stacey wasn't one of the siblings who had to or could get a job to help keep things afloat, so she was left to reap the spoils of their hard work. It did, unfortunately, leave her to her own devices on occasion and she spent most of her time doodling and sketching. When she learned she could make these sketches come to life, she became obsessed with making her little cartoons. 

The car accident effected all of them, and Stacey would not be exempt from this. Losing Scotty broke her heart in ways she could never imagine, and watching how it affected Sky made her never want to leave his side. Her cartoons went dark for a while, and she quickly discovered a very dark sense of humor as a way to cope with her heartbreak and pain. She held a little tighter to her remaining brothers, desperate to never feel that pain again. 

As she grew up, Dallas left for school, and a few years later the older boys went their separate ways. Stacey dove head first into her cartoons and drawings, eventually finding a full scholarship to art school. She was all alone at that school, her family spread to the winds at that point, but she was finding her own ways to bring in attention. Her cartoons and videos got a lot of attention, for the dark satire that ended up being more thought provoking than she had planned. People began paying attention and begging her for more, the excitement filling her with attention and seratonin on the regular, and she couldn't get enough. She started finding new ways to grab the attention of others, often finding herself in the middle of groups of students friends, even a teacher or two. She basked in it and found herself always wanting more. 

When word had gotten to her that most of her favorite people ended up in Lima, she knew it was time to get the rest of her life under control. She made her way to Stonewall Prep, was marked submissive, and was ready to move on with the rest of her life. 

BIO QUESTIONS:

What are your feelings about the mark you have received?    - It's fine. I mean, I wasn't overly hoping for a mark in any direction. I'm kind of used to people taking care of me, so it probably tracks, honestly. 

How do your feelings on the system compare to your parents’ feelings on it?   - They support it - i think? I mean, at least mostly. They don't really fight against it or anything at least. But it also wasn't really a big deal in my house either. It just kinda...was? At any rate, I see it the same way. it's important, sure, and I get that, but I don't think I'm ever going to be that obedient submissive. 

Where do you see yourself after you graduate?     - At a big time animation firm somewhere. Or maybe working from home, making cartoons and videos and watching how much everyone loves them. 

How do you feel about authority?   - Meh. I mean, I get that people have authority. I wish it was more earned than it seems to be. But, I guess life doesn't really care what I have to say.

I’m doing well! Thank you for asking ❤️! No worries! I would leave some things and change/add/remove some others to make it more cohesive and a lot less ambiguous:

S1: leave alone

S2:

- Remove Rachel. I liked her as Lucy’s friend and she was sweet, but she didn’t really affect the story in my opinion. She was just kind of there. We could have used her storylines for different things.

- Add: More follow up to DoD. 2x12 wasn’t enough in that regard in my opinion, it doesn’t sit right that they didn’t touch on it for the rest of S2. Hell, they don’t talk about it now! I would have loved to see Lucy’s journey to getting back to work, seeing her go to therapy, seeing her deal with a triggering situation… Lucy talking to Tim about the speed dating. More of Lucy and Tim at the bakery (what did they talk about; who drove; whose idea was it?).

S3:

- Add: More of Tim’s past with UC work. Remove Mack (he didn’t really add much to the story in my opinion). We saw Tim had hang ups in 3x06 and we can safely state that the hang ups have to do with Isabel. Maybe Mack too. Maybe. I would have loved to see Lucy call him on the carpet. It’s an honor for them to trust Lucy enough to do it after she volunteered. As a rookie mind you! June and Nyla could have said no. Lucy’s not Isabel, it wasn’t fair to Lucy for Tim to basically yell at her after the op briefing. So, I’d put that in.

Rewrite: 3x09 at the end, keep the parking garage moment, add Tim saying something to Lucy about taking her to dinner. 3x10, I would have loved if Jackson called Tim to go over to the apartment after Lucy texted him about her mom. Tim comforting Lucy should have happened there in my opinion. 3x11 at the end, we all know it’s because of Lucy that Tim is a much kinder person than he was before. Lucy helped him be better and helped him heal. It didn’t sit right that Tim didn’t give her the credit for it with something like “You taught me a better way of treating people. It’s because of you that I’ve changed how I treat rookies”. Lucy didn’t have to help him (she could have turned him in in S1), but she did anyways. 3x14: actually put in the dance. Longing looks, an almost kiss.

S4:

- Add: a 4x01 kiss and then Chenford not knowing what to do about it due to the grief. Bring Chris in earlier (maybe 4x07 or so), and make Tim jealous/pining for a long stretch until Lucy figures it out. Instead of Ashley, have Angela set Tim up on a blind double date with the other couple being ChrisLucy, a conversation after between Tim and said blind date that it won’t work. More conversation about Jackson’s death. How is it affecting Lucy? Much like DoD, Jackson’s death has been glossed over. It would have given Lucy and Angela bonding time too. It would also explain the OOC feeling of Lucy for the first quarter or so of 4A. A Chenford fight and a split in the partnership (say Tim just loses it over Chris since he’s so jealous and Lucy isn’t having it and splits the partnership temporarily), a near death experience for Tim via Rosalind.

- Remove: sickly sweet Tim and give him some edge back a la S2. Meet in the middle. Remove Ashley (completely unnecessary), remove that ridiculous bet storyline they wasted 2 episodes on as well as remove the whole egg thing, remove wishy washy Lucy (I’d restore her to S1 and S2 Lucy), remove the “who is the daddy?” thing for Nyla’s baby. I’d just make the baby James’s.

Overall: add a lot more follow through for plot points they just dropped after one episode.

If it was something like this, I think everything would be a lot more cohesive and a lot less ambiguous than it it now. We’re left right now to fill in the blanks. This is just my opinion though!

“I can’t believe you punched him.” A muffled voice filtered into Rex’s foggy mind, cutting through the haze the cool bite of a wintery breeze. 

“What? You were about to yourself!” A different voice lower and less controlled answered back. The owner sounded incredibly offended. 

“Yes but I stopped!” The first voice hissed back. “You can’t just go about bashing peoples’ skulls in whenever you feel like it! What if one of his men saw?”

A scoff followed the question and Rex fought to peel his eyes open. He was on a cot, that much was for certain. Above him was the ‘ceiling’ of a tent and to his left was a roll-away cart that looked to be stocked with all sorts of medical equipment. He was in the med tent. Great. But how the hell had he gotten there? “I will bash in whoever’s skull whenever I feel necessary. He made you uncomfortable, kih’vod, he got what he deserved.” A clone. The second voice belonged to a clone.

A low sigh barely filtered through the heavy tarp material of the tent. Stifling a groan, Rex propped himself up on his elbows. Backlit by firelight and lamps were the outlines of two figures outside the entrance of the tent. The shorter of the two looked a bit strange so Rex had to wager a guess that they had their head in their hands. “Rex didn’t know, vod. It wasn’t his fault. He didn’t deserve having his lights knocked out for that!” There was so much frustration encapsulated in the first speaker’s voice that it took Rex a while to piece together that the one speaking was Y/n. When had he made her uncomfortable? 

As if attempting to answer for him, Rex’s attention was brought to the dull pain in the side of his head. Slowly, he touched his fingers to the epicenter only to find a small piece of fabric had been stuck to it. All at once, everything came back to him and the captain was confronted with a swirling mix of anger, confusion, and guilt. He should’ve known better than to grab at her like that. But, that didn’t quite match up with how violent her reaction had been. And why had Hyde punched him? Jjannex 1. He brought up Jjannex 1...Ice’s face appeared in his mind’s eye. Her e/c eyes were clouded and distant, shimmering with some long-suppressed memory that threatened to overwhelm her. Her mouth had twitched downward in a fraction of a second, a slight wobble of her bottom lip had accompanied it. Her eyebrows creased, her posture stiffened. She had looked devastated...he hated that the first emotion he got her to show was such a destructive one. 

“I still think he deserved it, if not for that then for sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong. Nosey ol’ captain, ain’t he?” Hyde’s tone was abrasive and ignited something within Rex’s chest. 

“Watch it.” Ice barked back, her silhouette adjusting to accommodate the finger she jabbed into Hyde’s chest. “He still outranks you.” The duo lapsed into silence for a moment though it was tense and unpleasant even from Rex’s position inside the tent. While Rex was left to stew on his earlier actions that led him to this predicament, two more figures emerged outside the tent. 

Ice’s tone lightened considerably as she spoke though there was still the undercurrent of bitter frustration. “Ah, good, Bolt…” 

“What’s the damage?” The voice of Bolt was not what Rex was expecting. There was the twinge of an accent hiding within the low timbre of every clone’s voice. But his lilted on certain words, making him sound like he was singing. 

“Minimal. I did what I could for him.” Rex’s brow quirked at Ice’s words. She had done what she could? Rex’s fingertips danced over the bandage once more. “The skin was broken where Hyde made contact on his temple, that’s what knocked him out. His bottom lip’s split where he macked off Hyde’s cuirass and he’s got some bruising under his eyes from the impact as well, his nose took most of the weight.” Ice explained briskly and Rex had two seconds to fall back and pretend to be asleep upon realizing the general was on the move. “His temple wasn’t bad enough to warrant a patch,” The woman’s voice continued, unwavering, as she flicked the flap of the tent out of the way and began to approach. Three sets of footsteps followed her own. “So, I stuck with a classic plaster. I applied some ointment to his lip but wasn’t sure what to do for the bruises. Checked his nose, didn’t seem broken.” Her voice grew louder and louder as she drew closer. The Ice General was standing at the head of his cot, just out of reach. There was the familiar sound of plastoid shifting and Rex felt a hovering presence over his face like he was being analyzed. 

“Huh,” the presence backed off. “See what you mean. Well, he’s been mildly concussed and his bone is bruised but other than that, he should be fine. I’ll give him a bactashot when he wakes up, general, and he’ll be good as new come mornin’.” It was Bolt who had hovered over him, the field medic. “How long’s he been out?” 

“We just passed the eight-minute mark.” Her reply was immediate. He’d been passed out for eight minutes? Maybe he should let them know he’s awake...But, then Ice would fall back into her emotionless drawl and hearing her like this-so emotionally free?-it was surreal. Rex wasn’t sure why, but he didn’t want her to stop. 

A low whistle came from somewhere farther in the tent. “Damn, you sure did a number on him, Hyde.” The specific cadence in the man’s voice alerted Rex that Fritz was the fifth person in the tent. 

“He touched her!” 

A dead silence followed his reply. 

“He grabbed my arm.” Till Ice jumped in to rectify it. The captain heard a soft ‘oh’ fall from Bolt. 

A rustling came from the roll away and Rex would wager a guess that Bolt was digging for the aforementioned bactashot. 

“Y’know, I can’t say I blame you, Hyde. Pretty sure I would have done the same.” Fritz piped up, sounding as though he was deep in thought. 

A snort came from Bolt. “You almost did! When Skywalker clapped her on the back-thought we’d be finishing our mission alone.” 

“Lay a hand on my wife and I’ll end your life, that’s all I’m saying.” 

Rex’s heart plummeted as a chill seemed to creep through him. Wife? Rex thought. That, that would make sense. Fritz and Ice were awfully close. But Ice was a Jedi. They couldn’t…

“Awee, Fritzy!” Ice cooed in a high voice, “You’re an idiot!” 

Fritz chuckled, loud and boisterous.“Your idiot.” 

Someone retched close to his feet. “Gross. Take your grossness elsewhere please.” 

“Why? You jealous that I’m the only one that can get away with flirting with the general, Hyde?” 

“No, I don’t want your abhorrent flirting throwing me off my game when I see Kacrobe again.” 

“’Abhorrent’, that’s a big word for you, Hyde.” 

“Sadly, it still dwarfs when compared to your ego, Fritz.” 

“Can it, you two.” Ice cut in. “Did you ask him out yet?” Silence met her question till it was broken with a high pitched squeal that made Rex flinch. “Hyde! Ner ori’vod is all grown up!”

“Hey, vod, you woke him up.” Bolt’s lilting voice commented dully. Rex stifled a defeated sigh and fluttered his eyes open as if he had been asleep so he had just enough time to see Ice retracting from the hug she had wrapped Hyde in. 

“Ah,” her voice had returned to the emotionless drawl as she folded her hands in front of her and smoothed her face out till no emotion was present. “Good evening, Captain.” And Rex had never felt more defeated.

Ice had been avoiding him ever since and Captain Rex was more upset by that then he thought he’d be. It was odd because it wasn’t like he and the General had interacted frequently before but at least if she had a matter to discuss with him, she would do it in person but now she’d just send someone to tell him. This also didn’t prove helpful in his quest to understand what had happened to the Veterans as now he had to understand her. The story of the Battle of Jjannex 1 was apparently as intricately intertwined with the Ice general as it was with her men. 

There was also another issue that had arisen-the commander and the general’s...relationship. Rex hoped that it was just some elaborate joke he was misinterpreting but the alternate reality had to be examined as well because it was treasonous. It was so against both regulations and codes that Rex was almost flabbergasted that he had to consider it. What made it worse? If it was true, he had to be the one to call them out on it. He had to go against the Ice general and her commander and her devoted men. If he got this wrong, he’d never hear the end of it, if he got this right-the grand army was out a general and his vod would be court-martialed, and if he did nothing? It was unlikely anyone would find out given the perpetual stoic general and the rather fun commander. Most people would just assume that it was a joke. But he had heard him call the general his wife. He had heard it straight from the source. But who would believe him?

“Hey, vod, you haven’t touched your food.” Fives’s voice was accompanied by a rough nudge of his arm that caused it to slide off his thigh. The captain scrambled to right himself as he turned to look at his newest recruit. 

“Sorry, got something on my mind.” The captain hurriedly coughed out and resumed aimlessly poking at his food to get Fives off his back. It didn’t work.

“Yeah, I could tell. Wanna talk about it?” Fives asked, evidently not willing to drop the conversation. 

Rex sighed through his nose. “No, Fives, I don’t.” 

“Really? Does it have to do with the fight you got into yesterday?” 

Rex couldn’t help but roll his eyes. After he had woken up, he had been engulfed in a largely one-sided conversation between himself in Hyde that basically boiled down to they would tell the truth about what happened to his men and then they would never bring it up again. “The truth” they had decided to tell them though was boiled down to he had brought up a sensitive issue and things had escalated. True? Yes. The truth? Not to him. The truth was that the Ice general and her men were hiding something and he was trying to get to the bottom of it. “I said I don’t want to talk about it, Fives.” Rex was trying to keep his voice under control, he had no right to yell at the private when his foul mood was in no way Fives’s fault. 

“Does it have to do with Ice? You haven’t been able to take your eyes off of her since yesterday.” He persisted and Rex let out a disappointed sigh. He liked Fives but his stubbornness that proved helpful in battle could easily turn annoying. 

“Would you please not phrase it like that?” The captain groaned, finally setting his ignored meal to the side. “I’ve been trying to keep an eye on her because I need to talk to her. She’s hiding something-her and the Veterans.” 

“Ah, yes, because that makes it any less creepy, alor’ad.” The younger man huffed. “Sir, with all due respect, maybe you should let it go? I’m sure that whatever it is, the Vets took care of it and it’s just a sore topic now.” 

Rex’s eyes grew wide as he was struck speechless. “I...I’m surprised to hear you say that, Fives.” The captain fought to keep his face from going slack as he struggled to articulate what he was thinking. “Normally, you’re the first to question stuff like this.” 

The private shrugged and finished up his meal before setting it to the side. “‘Been talkin’ to her men an’ they all love her. They trust her, captain, why can’t you?” Fives turned away when one of the younger 205th boys called his name and asked if he’d lend him a hand with something which left the captain time to mull over his question. Why didn’t he trust her? Part of him wanted to say that it was because she was possibly committing treason with one of her men. But Rex knew deep down that he hadn’t trusted her from the beginning. Why though? Because she was mysterious? Because he didn’t know why she acted the way she did? Because he didn’t understand why her men all had the same tattoo? Because he couldn’t figure out what made her so different from the other Jedi? 

That had to be it. He hadn’t worked with many Jedi but he had seen how they interacted with their troops and generally, it was always the same. They were respectfully distant-it was clear that most of them were concerned for their well-being but none of them were really close. None of them were named vod (except maybe Plo Koon). But Y/n L/n was. She adored her men and had even been called kih’vod. That was a big deal. That showed that their loyalty was to her. That showed that they trusted her: so why couldn’t he?  

“Captain Rex.” a clone cleared his throat to his left and Rex finally looked away from where Fives had disappeared off to. Hyde, of all people, was standing at attention beside him. 

“Uh, at ease…” Rex ordered out of habit though his heart wasn’t in it. “What did you need?” 

Hyde took a low breath as though he was preparing to do something he’d regret for the rest of his life. “General L/n was wondering if you would like to join us for a sparring match.” 

The captain’s eyebrows shot up. She was…? Why? Hadn’t he horribly offended her not even 24 hours ago? “Um, sure. I guess.” He agreed hesitantly, not entirely sure that this was real. Hyde dipped his head and beckoned for him to follow. Hyde led him farther and farther away from where he had stopped to have his breakfast until he found himself in a makeshift enclosure made from a cliff and several tents. It was still early morning so it was relatively dark and cool, making it the perfect time for a quick match but what Rex didn’t understand was why only he had been invited.

“Hyde,” So, he decided to ask, “Why just me?” 

“Sparring is...personal for the general. And, since she knows you don’t trust her, she was hoping to make up for last night.” Hyde explained almost solemnly, as he came to a stop on the edge of the ring. What did that mean? ‘Sparring is personal’. Why? Once again, the captain found his already innumerable questions perpetually multiplying. “Wait here, I’ll go get her.” Before Rex could stop him, Hyde had swept away and disappeared into a tent the captain had come to recognize as L/n’s. 

As Rex waited in the blissful coolness of morning on the desert planet, he found himself distracted by the Ice general once again. She was looking to make up for last night, that much he could wrap his head around but what he didn’t understand was what possessed her to want to. Did she know he had overheard Fritz call her his riduur? Was this her way of keeping him quiet? Or was this her way of distracting him from Jjannex 1? By offering to let him in on a personal tradition, was she hoping to stop him from further investigating the matching tattoos? If it was, then she would be disappointed to learn that she would fail. If anything, it made Rex want to keep digging.  

“Ah, Captain Rex, it is good to hear that you decided to join us.” The blond man was pulled from his ponderings by the voice of the woman he was so troubled by. Her voice was still, as ever, betraying neither elation nor distaste for his agreement. She came around his left, clad in her light tan tunic that seemed to be the uniform of the Jedi. Her cloak had been done away with, presumably, so it wouldn’t get in the way while she fought and that left the captain with a clear view of the two lightsabers that hung on her belt. “I hope you were not busy when Hyde found you?” 

It took the captain a moment to realize that it was a question. “Oh, uh, no, no. I wasn’t.” Rex’s eyes fell away from hers, cold, calculating, frozen, and to the lightsabers once more. “Are you gonna keep those on ya?” He nodded to the weapons. 

Y/n’s head tilted to the side as she processed his question. She looked like a curious loth-cat. “They are my defenses, aren’t they?” 

“Your defenses?” Rex didn’t like the sound of that. Why would she need her lightsabers to defend her during a sparring match with a clone? 

“Indeed…” She dragged out before turning to Hyde who was busily fidgeting with one of his vambraces. “Did you not explain what sparring for us entails?” 

The red-head looked up for a moment, disinterested. “No, was I supposed to?” 

Ice took a moment to sigh, her face was still unfaltering. “Yes, Hyde, you were supposed to.” She shook her head before turning her unimpassioned gaze back to Rex. “I suppose you will just have to learn through observation, Captain.” Y/n moved on swiftly, spotting something behind the captain that had her enraptured in a moment. “Fritz! Who have you got?” She projected as she moved past the blond who turned to see what she was talking about. Commander Fritz was quickly approaching with Jekyll, Bolt, Empio, Codex, Boom, and two others the captain didn’t recognize. “Ah, Codex, I see you’ve returned. And we have Boom, Phantom, and Nexus as our three other newcomers? Welcome, boys.” The three men who were apparently new to sparring just like him quickly saluted Ice till she made a gesture for them to relax. “Alright, Phantom, Nexus you two take that corner. Jekyll, Empio, Codex, over there. Hyde, Fritz, beside the tent and finally, Bolt and-” 

“Sorry to interrupt, Ice, but I’m gonna sit this one out-prefer not to get my ass whooped today.” Bolt chirped from the seat he had taken atop three crates off to Rex’s left. 

...what? Rex couldn’t help but think. Ice blinked at the medic before shrugging. “Alright then, hand Rex your blaster.” ...what? He thought again as the dark haired man pressed his blaster into his hand. “And your helmet since he didn’t bring his.” ...WHAT? “Captain, I suggest you take up a position there.” Ice ordered softly and pointed to where she meant. Still perplexed beyond all measure, the captain complied. A few seconds passed as Ice observed the gathered men and how she had placed them and Rex couldn’t help but shift on his feet, his nerves getting the better of him. With a nod, Ice grabbed her lightsabers and moved to be equidistant from each man. “Gentlemen, set your blasters to stun.” ...W H A T?

Clean your rooms and pick you stuff up because parents are coming to Lima Heights! September 21st-27th there will be no classes as parents will be visiting our campus. So mind your manners and remember, you’re representing the school to these esteemed guests. 

There are things prepared for Parents to enjoy and partake in on campus such as:  


Monday - Tours of campus at 9am, 12pm, and 2pm.


Tuesday - Lecture from Sue and Will to explain the graduation requirements, presentation expectations, etc for parents - 2-4pm


Wednesday- Glee Performance for Parents - 5pm


Thursday - Musical performance of Six - 7pm (Donations accepted/encouraged for Women’s Aid)

Friday - Family Dinner in the Great Hall. Family style chicken, fish, potatoes, rice, salad, mixed veggies and rolls, 6-8pm

Saturday - Regular sports calendar with a special tailgating event in the parking lot starting at 5pm before the football game.

Parents are allowed on campus to visit their children, however, they must be staying off campus. All students may go off campus (level 2 is not needed) as long as they are with their families. Additionally, students going off campus with their parents do not need an additional escort. CURFEW IS STILL ENFORCED.

Rules:


Curfew rules will stand for all students.


Parents/siblings 18 years or older are allowed to visit - no minors are allowed.

Parents + their submissive(s) are allowed


Parents are allowed on campus to visit and to see everything, but they must stay overnight in town. Hotels in town are promoting discounts for parents of institute students.


Parents being here does not mean students will get away with poor behavior choices, punishments will still stand if earned.

Must talk over ideas/plots with all family members if it involves the parents. 

Someone will have to play the parents who will be active and visiting - AGAIN - ONLY ONE BLOG PLEASE. You can have multiple parents on that blog, that’s fine. But just one blog. 

You can also have parents coming to the school, but aren’t ‘active’ (for self paras or things where they won’t be talking to other students)

You DO NOT have to have parents come if all writers in that family do not want them to. 

The person playing the family should be a writer in that family. However, we will allow outside people to do it, keeping the following in mind: 

That writer cannot write outside of their own family again (meaning, if Mack writes the Berry parents, for example, she cannot write parents for any other non-Mack families).

This person should know the family well enough to be able to play the parents without there being issues with HCs.

YOU MUST HAVE TIME TO TAKE ON A PARENT ROLE.

Other writers are counting on these roles for plot points and development. If you cannot commit to being on DAILY - do not agree to play a parent role. 

Seriously, I can’t stress this enough. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t agree if you’re only going to be on once or twice during the week of this event.

‘killjoys, make some noise!’ just kidding, it’s time to learn about mack!

Blake already covered this in the intro for Ollie, but to make a long story short about Mack, he had a great life growing up! Think of sunshine and rainbows when it comes to him...right up until their parents passed away.

Sometime after, Mack’s first secret came to light and that was when he was diagnosed with GAD, also known as Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Of course, he’s kept his mouth shut about it.

This boy is basically a ray of sunshine with smarts as well as personality. He’s a smart cookie and loves learning new things. But he’s also a major sweetheart who just wants to do right by his loved ones as well as the world at large. He was definitely a mix of the class clown, teacher’s pet, drama geek, and star athlete during his school going years.

Star athlete, I hear you say? Yeah, he was and still is a master at archery, dance, soccer, and swimming! Then this kid also has dreams of being an actor, hence the drama geek mention.

Speaking of him being a class clown, this is just a random little headcanon, but his sense of humor is about as wild as his music taste. While his Spotify playlists can go from punk rock to Disney music, Mack’s sense of humor ranges from light hearted puns to the darkest humor imaginable. Plus, he takes any and all opportunities to make puns so word to the wise? Don’t challenge him.

Bouncing back to his history real quick, there’s another thing you should know about Mack and it’s his second secret. (’Cause I don’t want to leave you rockstars in the dark OOC) Mack fell in love with a guy about five years ago and at the start of the relationship, everything was going smoothly. Didn’t take long for his boyfriend to show his true colors though and to say the least, he put Mack through absolute hell. Eventually though, Mack signed on to become a counselor at his old stomping grounds, Camp Degrassi. So he packed up, left a note for his boyfriend, and took off without turning back. Since he’s arrived, he’s just hoping that he’s covered his tracks well enough to avoid being discovered.

Agent H’s AOS Rewatch

Season 3 Pro’s and Con’s 

We’re done with the season 4 rewatch, and I’m over here still trying to process season 3. First time watching, it was my least favorite season and I nearly stopped watching the show because of it. Second time watching…it’s still probably my least favorite just by comparison, but I have infinite more respect for it. Anyway, I needed to sort out my thoughts on this, so it’s all under “keep reading” and don’t get mad at me.

Cons (because let’s get the bad stuff out of the way)

-I really dislike revenge stories, so all the revenge stuff with Hunter and Coulson and Ward and all did not sit well with me and felt even OOC. 

-Speaking of, from the S2 finale through most of this season, there’s this theme of the men protecting and revenging their wounded or fridged girlfriends. It’s not super fun because this is a show where the women are clearly just as, if not more, competent than the men, but they’re not given the same opportunity to protect/revenge the men, much less given the same importance even in their own stories. I’m blanking on what MCU movies were going on around the time of this season, but I remember seeing this even in the movies. If I remember correctly there was a head of MCU who was later removed, but was apparently responsible. 

-The use of Ward is muddled. I’m cool with his takeover of HYDRA, that seemed natural. But you expect it to lead to a huge standoff with SHIELD because he, their worst enemy, is now head of their worst enemy organization. Instead, he gets converted to the HYDRA religion and literally becomes a vessel. Which is fine, but the transition was really hurriedly and poorly done. This is a man who has complex views of loyalty (Garrett not HYDRA. Skye and Coulson but not SHIELD), so I’m gonna need a lot more convincing that he’d believe Gideon’s HYDRA.

-This will be on both lists: I’m disappointed about how after three seasons HYDRA is taken out so quietly and quickly.

-I don’t know where to put this, but: I didn’t actually hate the space boyfriend arc as much the second time around, but the potential overall got squandered and I dislike that. 

-Rosalind’s death and possibly her whole arc was pointless. She was literally created and killed to serve Coulson’s character. Gross. And it’s a shame because it would have been really cool to use her as an actual foe-turned-friend for SHIELD throughout the season; she could have easily taken Mace’s place in S4 and that way at least would have been important for two seasons

-Okay, this is ABC’s fault not AOS’s. But like I remember how hard they advertised for Secret Warriors. Like that was the name of the arc. And. Then. They were a team FOR AN EPISODE.  Imagine my disappointment. Also, there really weren’t enough Inhumans this season to suit me.

-Bobbi and Hunter leave for a failed spinoff and I will never forgive Marvel for doing that.

-I mean…I appreciate that they give Andrew a noble death, but like…was it really necessary to have him turn and later die? Really? It gives Ming Na Wen and Blair Underwood opportunities to do extraordinary acting and they nail it, but like maybe don’t kill a guy to solve your inevitable ship? Don’t kill off your second black actor?

-The time jump in the season finale is too sudden. Like we barely get to grieve over Lincoln and they hit us with a time jump and Daisy on the run and new director in charge. Uncool. 

-This was the season I started to dislike Fitzsimmons. Don’t hate me. To me there’s an undercurrent in the writing that seems to favor Fitz over Simmons. FS’s subject to the same sexism that I mentioned in the first bullet. Like the story post-Simmons’ return focuses a lot more on Fitz’s feelings than on hers. He’s the one who has to stop her from getting tortured. He’s the one who saves Will, when it makes way more sense for her to go. He’s the one they all turn to for answers, when it should be both of them combined. And Simmons just gets a little pushed aside in her own story arc, but she just goes along with it anyway. 

-I had to write this last because this is the thing that hurts the season the most for me: Lincoln’s treatment. Okay, first, he’s a great character who got a major personality change between seasons. I don’t like the personality change, but I’d be okay with it if they didn’t do worse. For starters, we barely know him. His life and backstory are so vague, the guy he visits in 3x03 is just “a friend”, and like we get zero information on how they know each other. They spend the entire season having everyone in SHIELD (except Daisy) be against him, dislike him, belittle him, and mistrust him WHEN HE DESERVED NONE OF IT. Like they make it really obvious that Coulson dislikes him father-style because of his relationship with Daisy. They make him petulant and act out to prove that Mack and May are right to mistrust him when really given the fact that he was an Inhuman guide and a medical doctor and a recovered addict, he’d be a lot more under control. They make Fitzsimmons talk down to him just because no one can be smart except Fitzsimmons, when clearly he would know more about Inhuman biology and medicine in general THAN THE BIOCHEM PHD (sorry that one will always bug me). Like they make some work on him with Coulson and May, and that’s good, but overall he is not allowed to have a solid relationship with anyone but Daisy. I think the writers 1) knew he was gonna die and decided not to invest in him or his relationships. 2) were trying to get a moody bad boy in the cast, and decided to cast him as it when it didn’t really make sense. Also, while talking about Lincoln, I really wish they did some more interesting things with his powers than lightning blasts. He has electric powers!! There’s so much you can do!!

-Okay, this one is just real personal. LINCOLN IS A MEDICAL DOCTOR. Or at least a medical student or resident or fellow (I mean, he’s in the hospital doing rounds). TREAT HIM AS SUCH. HE WANTED TO HELP PEOPLE, LET HIM HELP PEOPLE. LET HIM DO THE SURGERIES AND KNOW THE STUFF ABOUT BIOLOGY AND MEDICINE. LET HIM RETURN TO HIS OLD LIFE AS A DOCTOR. You had such a good character who turned himself around from addiction, dedicated his life to saving lives, got thrown multiple curve balls, and now has to decide how will he continue to serve others. Yes, he’s a hero in the end. But all that in between time, he could have been saving lives too.

Pros (because there is good stuff, I promise) 

-Someone mentioned that this is the first season to have a unified storyline throughout, and that’s so true and it’s so well done! 

-There’s a good natural continuation of the HYDRA and Inhuman storylines from S1 and S2. I think we can look at AOS as two large arcs: S1-S3 is about powered people and HYDRA. S4-S7 is about bending the limits of reality with Ghost Rider, LMDs, Framework, Space, and Time Travel,. S1 was about introducing us to powered people and HYDRA, S2 was about developing the history and politics of them respectively and how they relate to SHIELD. S3 is when Inhumans get involved with SHIELD and with the world directly and the fallout from that. For HYDRA it’s when we get the history and reasoning of the group, and even if it’s a retcon, I appreciate that it introduces the background of HYDRA as a way to end this arc

-Overall, I really do appreciate how this season fills out a lot of worldbuilding. We get a complete history on HYDRA, and we get way more info on Inhumans, but we also get to see how the human world is reacting to and divided on Inhumans, which carries over into the net season

-On both lists: It’s good that they take HYDRA out so quickly and quietly. That plotline had run its course, and it was so bittersweet because they finally had defeated their biggest enemy, but now they had even bigger problems to deal with it. That scene of Coulson and May watching HYDRA fall is one of my favorites because it mirrors that S1 scene of watching HYDRA takeover, but it’s so quiet and not celebratory like it should be.

-Like I said, I hate revenge arcs, but I do appreciate how it came full circle at the end with Coulson admitting his mistake and regret in seeking revenge. That’s much more on brand with Coulson and MCU even I had to sit through a painful arc just to get to that point. 

-Episode 1, Daisy’s entrance and, for that matter, Fitz’s entrance. HOT DAMN.

-One of my favorite things about AOS is the way that they mix up pairings and everyone feels like friends and family. This season did a fantastic job on that with like Fitz/Bobbi, Mack/Daisy, Hunter/May, and way more.

-I complain that there wasn’t enough Inhumans to suit me, but also I really enjoyed the ones we got. I expected them to do Inhumans with basic powers like water, fire, plants, shrinking. But AoS writers were like nah, how about a guy who melts metal?? How about Medusa eyes?? How about a guy who can predict deaths? Like they just went straight to the extremes and I respect that. And yes, we have our typical speedster and fire guy, but the sheer joy that comes from those characters makes up for the predictability of their powers.

-We get Joey and Yoyo who are the effin’ best and deserve the world. And with Lincoln and Daisy we got SECRET WARRIORS!!!!

-First time, we get introduced to Charles and Robin and manipulating time, which obviously becomes important later, so I like that they introduce it so early in the show.

-I also love the way things come full circle with Lash. I wish he didn’t die, but the reveal of his true purpose was amazing 

-THE FITZSIMMONS KISS. THE FITZSIMMONS SEX SCENE. Do I really need to say more?

-THAT FITZ vs MONOLITH SCENE. That is top like five moments of the show for me, and I’m gonna need the Emmys to give Iain de Castecker his belated Best Actor award any day now.

-4722 Hours was a work of art, and Elizabeth Henstridge, I will be getting you that Best Actress Emmy one way or another. 

-Brett Dalton’s acting. This rewatch served to highlight how brilliantly he developed Ward’s evilness over the course of the three seasons and then the way he flipped the switch and played a completely different character as Hydra. You can feel it in his voice and mannerisms, it’s a totally different person even if it’s still technically Ward’s body. And to top it off, that finale where he pulls of a brilliant two-minute psychotic breakdown and a kickass fight scene. Standing ovation, good sir. I miss you.

-After S2 fridged three women of color, I do appreciate how this season chooses to take out four of its white characters even if I’m sad that they had to go.

-The Star Wars references were so effin’ funny

-Spy’s Goodbye. I will never be okay about this.

ABOUT

born in winterpeg winnipeg, grew up there. had a pretty typical childhood, y’know?? real supportive parents. signed him up for hockey when he was like four and the rest, as they say, is history.

went to shattuck-saint mary's in minnesota for high school where he played up grades showcasing an already blooming talent. wasn’t sure if he wanted to pursue the canadian junior leagues or the typical american development route of ncaa after that. ultimately was drafted high in the QWHL draft and played two seasons for the halifax mooseheads. by the time the hype wheels started turned for the 2011 nhl draft, chris was rumored to be the number 1 or 2 pick available. he ultimately went first overall to the edmonton oilers. signed his three year entry contract with them not long after that and went straight into the league. 

his early years were plagued with harsh judgement from the media that he wasn’t living up to his first overall status. pulling out to 63 points his first season, dropping to 40 due to lost time to injury, staggered back up to 55 the last season of his elc. though his first overall status was being contested, that was still enough to earn him a nice 7 year 6.2 million average annual value contract. pulled another 57 point season the first year of his contract and then the fifth year in the nhl happened.

it’s hard to say exactly what changed, but something just clicked. he had a hot start to the season and just never stopped, ending the season with his first above 90 season at 93 points. well, that could’ve just a fluke. but he came back the next season just one point shy of 100 at 99, and the next at 97. since then, he’s been a solid 90+ point producer, though he has yet to break that magical 100.

he just concluded the 6th year in his 7 year contract, leaving just one more year on it. he knows his next contract needs to be negotiated, that he’s due for a substantial pay raise, but he doesn’t want to put the team in a bind either. he doesn’t know what’s going to happen, and frankly is trying to not think about it.

SCOUTING REPORT: Clyde is a high-octane, offensive force. He owns a potent shot and a dazzling array of stickhandling moves that make him a gifted scorer and playmaker. He sees the ice very well and can fit passes through tight lanes for his teammates, while also having the anticipation skills to always be in the right place at the right time. Clyde’s skating stride is perhaps his most underappreciated quality. His two-step quickness is superb and he reaches top gear with alarming quickness. His hands and feet move in concert with each other, which enables him to make high-end moves without breaking stride. His shot can polarize goaltenders from the slot, the outside, or even with a well-placed wrist shot from the point. One must look at the little intricacies of his game to truly appreciate just how special he is. From his anticipation, to his shiftiness, to his ability to kick a puck up to his stick and shoot in one fluid motion, Clyde is truly dynamic. He also plays with a chip on his shoulder and is able to stand up for himself. His willingness to play defence is another asset that makes him such a complete player.

his parents moved out of winnipeg to the milder climate of wellcliff, ma when chris when off to minnesota. so while chris didn’t exactly grow up in wellcliff, he’s spent most summers and breaks there since he was 14. a couple years ago, they moved even farther south to a nice retirement home in tampa. he probs bought for them tbh lmao. chris has always been a bit of the nostalgic type though, so when they finally moved out of the town, he took their old house and still lives in it during the off-season (anytime between mid-april to mid-june depending on playoffs until mid-september). he pays someone to take care of the house when he’s away (possible wc?).

homeboy’s nhl city is edmonton. while not winnipeg, best bet he spends as much time on the beach and generally soaking up sun in the off-season. often can be found running barefoot on the beach close to dawn. otherwise generally enjoying the sun whenever he’s not skating.

chris tries to not let a lot phase him. he took a lot of the criticism he faced the first four seasons in the nhl in stride ( and still does tbh, it comes with the job but it’s a lot less generally negative now ). very much a let the water run off your back type of person. tries to be down to earth and not act bigger than he is. people have called him a steady and reassuring presence because of it --- and has worn an A for the oilers the past three seasons. but at the same time he can be childish and boyish at times, especially around friends --- living up to that jock stereotype. he hasn’t had to face a lot of the “real world”, so even though his entrance to the nhl wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows, he’s never felt what some would consider real adversity or had to struggle financially.

idk exactly where wellcliff is but there are three (four?) rinks in cape cod so one of those will do for his usual practices. probs drives into boston like once a week to skate with some buddies idk.

has heard bonnie & clyde jokes and pick up lines for twenty-six years and doesn’t see it ending any time soon.

wait why is AME b2 so bad??

Under the cut because this gets long and kinda rant-y, sorry

 - The writers should’ve never implemented double elimination. It helped this season feel different, which was something this book needed to be successful, but it only made it feel like the new characters left way too soon. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like we hardly got to know most of them. I get that it was so there was never an odd number of contestants, but they could’ve done something like… winner is exempt every other challenge or something.

 - I am convinced the writers DID NOT know what to do with Ivy or Vince. Particularly Ivy. They kept switching between the 2D villain Adam-mancers love to petty hate to this really compelling (at least imo), complicated rival character.  They should have stuck with the later AND they should have paired Ivy with MC at least once, leading to addressing her betrayal from last season: letting players forgive Ivy and move on (and rekindle their romance if players did that last season) or remain bitter towards her. But mostly pairing MC and Ivy in a challenge for the drama. It boggles my mind that both Ivy and MC are in the same season, but no one bothered to pair them up. I vaguely remember it was one of the reasons S10 didn’t tank. I might be remembering some details wrong, but in-universe, didn’t fans tune it to see that sweet MC/Ivy drama? Any good showrunner would have taken advantage and milked the hell out of it by doing whatever they can to put the two in the same room. I guess Carson being portrayed as incompetent subverted that, but Carson is a fictional character so that doesn’t count. If the writers weren’t going to fully take advantage of the Ivy/MC dynamic, they should have cut Ivy from the book entirely.

 - The partners. This was such a brilliant idea, but omg did they fuck it up. Why did they ONLY pair MC with Slater, Vince, and Adam. I mean, of fucking course it’s Adam, but they should’ve made it so the contestants got new partners AFTER EVERY CHALLENGE. Not when Carson felt like it or something came up. And MC should never have been paired with Adam (or Mack and Derek for that matter). It should have been Ivy (for the above reason) and all the new characters especially if they were committed to the idea of double eliminations. That way players get to know the characters one-on-one before they’re gone. Obviously, Adam is gonna stick around till the end because he’s one of the LIs and he’s on the cover. Also because of the whole proposal setup. Making him one of MC’s partners is a waste of time when you have new characters that will be leaving way before him. Diamond scenes aren’t going anywhere. That’s where they’re putting LI character+romantic development nowadays. MC, Adam, Mack, and Derek seem to have formed a friends group. They interact the most and there are several entire chapters where those three (+Jen) are the only characters to appear. What’s the point? Just pull a Total Drama and bring back the old contestants in a season 10.2, but switch up the elimination order. Having said that, yes, we do get to interact a lot with Eden/Heath and Kiara, but not characters like Yvette and Rowan. Maybe it’s just me, but I felt like I knew more about Ryder, Lina, and Han in their short time than any of the new All-Stars. These are winners and VIPs of previous seasons. They should have something to offer! If the new characters mean nothing then why waste the assets. Take Yvette for example… she’s a mom and willing to use her kids to guilt people into not voting her off. Enough to make players dislike her, but besides that moments and a few single lines, she’s a throwaway characters. And to prove my point, PB didn’t even wait for AME2 to finish before recycling her character model for a minor patient character in Open Heart. I don’t care about PB reusing assets, but can they stop being THAT lazy for five minutes.

 - There’s the fact that they didn’t do anything creative with partners outside of the ones involving the MC. Particularly the ones for the LIs. Vince, for example, didn’t get paired with Adam AT ALL despite their history. Just like with MC/Ivy, why would any showrunner worth their salt not want to capitalize on the drama between Adam and Vince? Same goes for the actual writers of this book. Why even have Adam around if not to spice things up with Vince? 

 - And since we’re on the topic of Vince… why did he not have that big of a role? I mean, on one hand, I kinda like that he’s just a diva and annoying. I’ll give B2 that much, they subverted my expectation of Vince being the main villain of this book, but in all honestly… they should’ve went with that route. It would’ve been exciting if MC would have to ally with Ivy in order to defeat a worse contestant. Then I was expecting Slater to be the secret big bad and Vince would be a red herring, but again… nope. Vince is just a diva and Slater plays rough. Those aren’t bad things, but they were also disappointing… much like the entire book. I know they didn’t want to copy what they did in the last book, but having this book’s finale just include your friends/LI rather than having it you vs. your rival is kinda lackluster imo.

 - One last thing about Vince… he almost seriously injured Adam in one of the earlier chapters and it’s never brought up again. Ever! They could’ve included a scene later on, like B1 had with Zeke, where MC could decide whether to reveal they saw Vince mess with the controls and that’d sway the opinions of the jury house and affect whether or not they’d listen to him. But of course that’s not what happened. This is Choices so consequences are only every applied to the MC. 

 - This “dating Jen” drama should’ve been done in full back in B1, but only for players actually romancing Jen. No offence to the other LIs, but Jen was the most appealing. Having a forbidden romance with one of the producers? Narrowly avoiding getting caught and risking your chance of staying on the show? It’s way more interesting that Adam/Mackenzie all of a sudden falling for MC just because. We know PB has the coding power. They could’ve and should’ve done it If they’re gonna have multiple endings for RoD, of all books, then they should commit to a standard for their books and should’ve coded AME A LOT better. Hell, they should’ve just outlined the whole series better, but we ended up with… this.

 - Also they need to do something with Mack’s backstory… her family is poor? She wants the prize money to put her sister through college. And yet she ONLY ever sabotaged Ryder then fell in love with MC and did nothing dirty for the rest of both seasons. If they weren’t gonna make Ivy a complicated rival character, they should’ve just cut Ivy all together and given that storyline to Mack. This is mostly a B1 complaint, but it follows through to B2 because they don’t commit with Ivy and don’t do much  with Mack. They introduce her family, which was interesting, but idk she lost a lot of appeal for me in B1 when she fell head over heals for my MC for no reason. Mackenzie’s route had “slow burn” written all over it, but they neglected her. Either Mack should’ve been the rival LI or they should’ve cut her and made Adam fully customizable (like Hayden) then have Ivy fill the role of second female LI.

- Again with Mack… her complaining about cheating is really funny and kinda OOC. Like I mentioned before, she literally sabotaged Ryder because he was a jerk and she wanted to win. Did the writers forget about that? This was just one of several points that shows the writers did not care about their own story and characters. 

 - Also they needed to do something? … anything… with Derek. Poor man, he’s the only LI who gets how this show is played. He deserves better. I don’t talk about Derek much, but I honestly love this man. He’s just dull. He needs… anything. Give him anything. Like the only significant storyline they gave him, that I can remember, is his show-mance with Ivy and that was more Ivy’s storyline than his.

 - And Bianca being friend-zoned despite PB bringing her back. Really? PB must know a lot of fans like her. At the very least a lot of tumblr fans. Idk why they wouldn’t want to capitalize on that. Did they really think it wasn’t a good idea to give her a few diamond scenes? Did neglecting her again make them more money? So instead of giving Bianca… literally anything, they give Slater, a completely new character, a couple of diamond scenes and let players be a little flirty with him. 

 - Having Eden/Heath and Kiara getting into an accident was a good twist, I was genuinely worried about them, but I gotta laugh that it took them both out of the competition. I mean, it makes sense. They were seriously injured. Realistically, they wouldn’t be able to compete, but their elimination brought the final 6 to MC, the LIs, Vince, and Ivy/Slater. Determinant 5 of 6 contestants are from S10 and one has been in 3 seasons, 2 of which he quit. That’s so dumb. Like… were there ANY in-universe fans who saw this and thought this show was rigged? I mean, more than fans normally would about reality shows?

 - How did Mack, Adam, and Derek even get on this show? At first I thought MC was surrounded by celebrities. Bianca was a model, Han was an athlete, Ryder was a pop star, etc etc. I assumed everyone else were celebutantes or something and MC was the odd one out who got lucky when they stumbled across Whitney and Jen. But nah, Mack and Adam (and I think Derek too) are just college students who applied for the show to pay for tuition??? If they’re not famous or didn’t come from fame, why did Piper invite them to compete in the first place? What was so special about them that drew her attention. This is a minor complaint, but it’s just weird to see each of the LIs come from regular families like MC. Not that what we got was bad, but like… did they win a contest or something? What’s the deal? Idk if it’s in a diamond scene I didn’t pay for, but it really should be a free piece of characterization. It would’ve made me care more about the LIs and make them more memorable. 

 - Does anyone think the friendship/ally status does anything besides determine who votes for who at the end of the season? Why would they implement the friendship meter from ES if they don’t use it for alternate dialogue? Because they know most of the characters won’t be in the next book? Probably, but still. I can’t tell if Adam hating MC is any different then Adam being MC’s ally besides him voting for them at the end of S10, but even then, that doesn’t make sense because he has ample reason to not vote for Ivy. And yet he still votes for Ivy if he’s anything lower than ally. Again, mostly a b1 complaint.

 - Someone had a great idea (I forget who, but please message me) that the LIs should be an auto vote and for the rest, whether or not they vote for your should be based on a percentage. The higher the relationship status, the higher the chance. Friends being 75%, neutral being 50% or lower, dislike/hate somewhere around 20 -15%. As an idea.

And that’s the major ones, I’m sure there are more other people can tack on.

The WHEEL OF SCENES event will run from August 5th through the 16th. Each participant will be able to spin each wheel ONCE, and whatever they get is the scene they will have to accomplish. Scenes should be something regarding D/s, with a Dominant person and submissive person utilizing their roles within the scene. Each wheel had a different number of points attached to it depending on intensity of the scene. There will be no classes from the 9th through the 13th in order to help everyone have enough time. Complete all three wheels for max amounts of points!

Alright, pretty straight forward, but here are the answers to some questions my crystal ball told me you'd have:

Can we combine wheels? -

No. These are worth a fair amount of points, so each participant would need three separate scenes for each of their wheels. Now, if you and another person got the same thing on your wheels (or each of you can incorporate one wheel choice into the same scene together), that is fine. Basics: each person needs three separate scenes.

Can we do multiple scenes with the same person/people?

No. Please branch out. Please talk to characters you don't normally talk to and writers you don't talk with. This is a great way to avoid bubbling and get to know some new characters. You never know what may happen if you're open minded. This includes scenes with multiple people - the same person should not show up in any more than one of your scenes.

Can we spin the wheel more than once?

No. Honor system, people. Don't break the game.

Do the have to all be sexual?

Not necessarily. We'll allow you to be a bit creative here in order to have the best chance for points. The main thing we're looking for is "is there a clear Dom with expectations/rules/etc, and a clear submissive who is following those expectations/rules/etc. We'll allow some creativity to make things work, but again, please don't break the game. They should be 'scenes' in some sort of way. Now, some of them are pretty "Obviously" sexual, but if you can figure out a way to make it non sexual and still a scene - more power to you.

How are the scenes divided?

The 75 point wheel are the 'easier' scenes to do in regards to intensity. They get more intense the higher the wheels go. Keep in mind, your character may get a spin with something they're not comfortable with doing and that's okay - but that's why they're worth so much.

How do we get our points?

My favorite way is the master list way! Make a post with the Three scenes you picked (please put the points next to them) and a link to the finished scene. Then, post the masterlist link to the Discord channel. As always, if you assume/speed through set up and aftercare, we'll accept that. We want to know what the scene was, how it went, and what came of it for it to count.

Do we have to do the wheels in order?

Nope! If you want to just do one of the wheels, that's fine. You don't have to go in order or even do all three.

Can Townspeople join in?

Sure! Now, they wouldn't get the points for graduation, obviously, but 'in game' Townspeople can join in points-based events as "continued education." They can also be willing to help students get their points and just have some fun with it.

When are the masterlists due?

End of day on August 16th.

What if I turn it in on August 17th or 18th?

Then I will flick you in the nose and cry deeply into my pillow. Alright, here's the thing, I might not get to the points until the 17th or 18th, this is true. However, you are running the risk of points NOT BEING COUNTED if wait and do it then. Maybe I'll get a bug up my ass the morning of the 17th or not be able to sleep and get it done at midnight, who knows. If you want to be counted FOR SURE, get them in by the 16th :)

I recently saw on an ask that you asked the asker to tell you which ships you had introduced to them and made them like, so I thought I’d share. I knew some of these were ships already but others I had no idea even existed. Thormione (never knew about this). Sevmione. Fenmione (never knew about this one). Antomione (never knew about this one). You got me hooked on all of these, but, oddly enough, I almost always only like the ship when you write it. I literally will read anything you write😂

You’re the sweetest! And I adore you for following my writings so avidly and so often actually reaching out to talk to me - it’s so nice to have readers who speak to me like I’m people, rather than the type-writer churning out fics and nothing more. 

To be honest, I never thought of many of these pairings as ships myself, until I met @canimallow and @freyaishtar. Freya introduced me to the Thormione ship - and she came to it via Canimal. Between the three of us, we’ve all delved into these ships I’d previously have turned my nose up at and scoffed over, imagining there could be no world where Hermione and a Death Eater, or an evil werewolf, or a grouch like Snape could ever be anything but wildly OOC and AU.

How wrong I was *shakes head self-deprecatingly* 🤷‍♀️

BUT I simply must insist that there are a number of fics besides mine, that I’m sure you’d enjoy the pairing and the story for, though I do adore you for saying you like them best by me ❤ ❤

Snamione:

Pet Project by Caeria is the one that hooked me into the fandom/ship in the first place. It’s a veeerrry sloooow burn, and they’re so in character and on point that I envy Caeria the ability to write so well. I’ve read this fic more than once.

Chasing the Sun by Loten is another favourite of mine. Another slow burn - as I feel most Snamione’s should be to fully capture the nuance of the characters and their relationship. Loten does a fabulous job of that.

Self Slain Gods on Strange Altars by scumblackentropy is probably the story I envy the author the most for. The grasp of the English language this writer has is beyond fault and I honestly love re-reading it over and over just to marvel at that command of language and use of vocabulary. It’s glorious. It’s also, unfortunately, abandoned, from what I can tell as it hasn’t been updated since 2013, but for where it’s written to, it’s thoroughly enjoyable and leaves enough to the imagination to let you think up your own ending, if you choose. Seriously, read it and lavish Scumblackentropy with reviews. Maybe we can lure him/her back to work on it some more if we love on it hard enough.

Antonmione

The Dark Mage’s Captive by Canimal - this was literally one of the earliest Antonmione fics, I believe. (@canimallow, correct me if I’m wrong). It’s dark, it’s gritty, it’s glorious, and without it, there would be no Death Eater Express, and I’m certain I’d never have fallen for the Antonmione ship, myself.

Slip by Nautical Paramour is another one I’m sure you’d thoroughly enjoy with a strictly Antomione pairing. I haven’t actually read this one myself, just yet, but it’s on my TBR list. I recommend it knowing that Nautical’s fics are so delicious that it will be glorious when I make the time to sit and devour it.

The Darkness in Avery Manse by Freya Ishtar is another I whole-heartedly recommend if you like horror stories with a little romance thrown in. Freya’s got a gift for horror and ghost stories and though this is only at chapter one, right now, I have every faith it will be glorious when it’s complete.

Fenmione

Untamed by Clementine Mack is 100% an intriguing and beguiling tale that encapsulates the wilder side of lycanthropy within the HP-verse. I need to catch up on the fic, myself, having devoured the early chapters while she was still just starting out on this one and since not made time for HP based reading.

Silent Shadow by Canimal - this one is currently on Hiatus while Melody takes a writing break and focuses on other projects, but it’s entrancing to say the least. I’m avidly following it and awaiting new chapters because I just know it’s going to wreck me before the end.

Creatures in Cages by Freya Ishtar - I’m hooked on this one. Like... Hooookkkeedd. I have so many questions, and I think I’ve proposed to Gerilyn on more than one occasion in my gushing reviews.

Thormione

Uncut Thread by Mary Royale is one of my all time favourite Thorminoe fics, though it’s just a one-shot. There is something delicious about them when Mary writes them.

Parolee and His Princess by Canimal - THIS was literally the FIRST ever Thorfinn/Hermione story. EVER! Like, literally, before Melody came along and used that brilliant brain of hers to write this pairing, they did not exist. Without her, there would be no Thormione. She breathed life into the 1 dimensional character Thorfinn was in canon and turned him into the character so many of us adore. We bow down at the alter erected in Canimal’s honour. She is our Thormione goddess and we adore her.

The Golden Mage’s Captive by Frey Ishtar - the second author to ever write the pairing. Yeah, my friends are badasses and I fucking love them for it. They built this ship with their bare hands, y’all. Seriously, if you haven’t read the fics on this list, you’ve got to read them.

And I’m fangirling here for my own besties, but seriously, without them, the Antonmione and Thormione ships, in particular, would probably never have gotten off the ground. I know my recommendations are heavy with love for them, and that my opinion is biased, but all of these fics need love, y’all. Lavish them in reviews. Gasp! Cry! Scream! Lay it all out there as you experience the journey of each one and tell the author how it makes you feel. Please! Love them as I love them! #alwaysreview

Morgan was the youngest of her brood and she made that incredibly well known to anyone who asked - and several who didn’t. She was the baby in every sense of the word - spoiled, entitled, and a full on brat. Morgan was always given everything she wanted and if she wasn’t given it she made everyone’s life a living hell until she got it. Her father was the easiest to play, eventually giving in just to make her be quiet and her mother, well, all Morgan would have to do is wait until her mother was passed out drunk and inevitably she could just do what she wanted. This was a great plan and she would ride it for as long as she needed to.

She had always been the most watched after person on social media, her picture in every magazine and her every move in all the tabloids. Morgan had people who worshipped her and wanted to be to her and she’d never get enough. She spent most of her time since middle school being the center of attention, life of the party. While she wasn’t the addict her mother was, she certainly enjoyed the occasional drinking binge at whatever hot party was on the docket every Saturday night. She would sneak out often, not that it was hard, and ran the streets of Austin with her posse which consisted of her best friend, whatever arm candy she had at the time, and a slew of people who just wished for an iota of her attention.

She found time for enjoyable activities as well, mostly playing her violin. It was the softest thing about her, at least what she would let people see. She spent no time “practicing” what her mark might be. Frankly, she didn’t care. She wasn’t against the system, but she certainly didn’t really care about it. She figured she’s eventually convince or bribe someone to claim/claim her and she would continue to live her lavish lifestyle.

Which one was it again? Oh right, submissive. I guess I don’t really care. It doesn’t matter. The mark isn’t going to change anything. I am who I am and people adore me, or are completely jealous of me. Either way, I’ll still manage to get what I want.

How do your feelings on the system compare to your parents’ feelings on it?

Probably the same. I mean, they don’t really care about it. Well, they do, but only for appearances. The only appearance I care about is my own and whether or not my bronzer is blended appropriately against my flawless skin.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?  

On the cover of every magazine ever. Probably have a couple of people’s choice awards for music. Maybe i’ll grace the LA Philharmonic with my presence with the violin. But, I think i’ll go with a trophy spouse in a huge house who does something that makes a lot of money.

Describe what terrifies you the most.

Oh please, i’m not afraid of anything. Well, I guess back taxes are pretty scary. And getting old. Oh! That’s definitely what it is - I’m terrified of becoming old and irrelevant. Thank God for botox and plastic surgery, amiright?

Paradise in Mexico

When you and your new wife had decided to take your honeymoon in Mexico, the last person you had expected to find loitering in the airport was your boss. You knew that he hadn't received the job promotion but normally something like that wasn't enough to send your boss into a spiral, especially one that made him look like a lost puppy in a completely different country. Looking at your wife, the two of you feel bad for the man, so you decide to take him under your wing, including him in all the different activities the two of you had planned together whilst away. However, by the end of the third day, your patience with the man is getting incredibly thin and you want nothing more than to enjoy some alone time with your new wife, hell it was your honeymoon. You have to admire Tammy for trying everything in her power to encourage him to head back to New Orleans, to do the things that he loves doing, solving cases, spending time at the bar, playing the piano and being an amazing inspiration to the whole team. When he pouts and says

“Ah don't think Ah wanna go back to NCIS, its obvious nobody there needs me and you just placating me and trying to ease my worries with these niceties Tammy just proves how little you really know me. Ah'm useless”. When you look at the crestfallen look on your wife's face and see her try and fix the problem she's just created you stand in front of her, fired up and ready to let loose, knowing how much Tammy has been doing to cheer the man up and how big her heart is when it comes to your boss

“You know what Pride, you can sit here and wallow in your self-pity for all I care. I am sick of this sad and depressed man that has been tagging along on our honeymoon. You got rejected from one job promotion, so what? You have a whole team of people who are willing to do anything for you and follow you anywhere, but the minute you fall one time you decide to give up on yourself, on your whole career. I've spent too long watching my wife try and cheer you up to no avail and all you have to say to her is rude things, that's just not on” you take a deep breath before saying

“Me and my new wife are going to go to our room and spend the rest of our honeymoon together, doing the things that we want to do together!” you say grabbing Tammy's hand and dragging her out of the room. You barely hear Pride huff out

“Well, that was rude” as you make your way out of the room.
