I’m kinda reluctant to the idea bc ppl will just vote for those they know and I’ll be sad to see beloved characters of mine have no/few votes just bc they’re less known. BUT! The worst thing about suffering is that it still hurts when the danger is over but no one cares about it anymore because it shouldn't hurt. No one will ever say "I'm sorry that happened to you" especially when they barely say "I'm sorry that's happening."

I’d like to formally introduce you all to

~The Pirate AU~

Once again centered around the V3 kiddos, though both the Thh and Sdr2 casts have roles as well. They sail aboard the Luminary of the Stars, captained by Kaito, traveling around and pillaging, and being pursued by both the rival pirates aboard the Remnant of Despair and the Royal officers aboard the Hope’s Peak (goly who could be on those?)

The whole cast isn’t part of the crew at the beginning of the au, several join as the story progresses (both willingly and unwillingly) but they all bond through the power of Found Family Trope and work together! I’ve got designs drawn up for some and concepts for the vast majority of the V3 kids, I’ve been prattling on to my bestie about this au for probably like nine months? So I’ve got a good amount figured out plot wise too!

Like everyone who was a blackened in game has some sort of curse and the overall plot is to try and break the curses! Some are more lethal than others and so are more pressing concerns, certain curses are only know to certain crew mates (can’t have everyone know your weaknesses when mutany is always a small possibility)

It’s honestly such a fun au to work on lol, and was absolutely just the result of one night my family and I rewatched most of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies lol

the way people are once again removing all the nuance and moral greyness and complexity out of the last of us, but especially joel miller’s character is kinda concerning lol
