Anyway operator theory idea where the batch eventually finds, saves, and recovers Tech, and Tech is dealing with the fact that they “killed” or nearly killed (if the CX operatives all survive) him five separate times. He brushes it off as them doing what they had to do in a fight to the death, but he still has a very hard time looking down the business end of a blaster.

Unitarity
Introduction Unitarity, a principle central to quantum mechanics and quantum field theory, is the mathematical expression of the fundamental conservation law in these theories – the conservation of probability. At the most basic level, it guarantees that the total probability of all possible outcomes of a quantum mechanical system is always one. The Basics: Unitary Operators In the language of…

Leander theory : the truth behind his eyes
I didn't have the time to write that post previously and it's a long overdue, so let's go.
I think I cracked the code about Leander, or at least found a lead that is totally probable thanks to the new elements in the update and people's comments on MC's behaviour around Leander.
Tldr : he charms/hypnotizes people with his eyes, rendering them obedient and oblivious to any harm he could cause. More below the cut !
Tumblr media
Let me elaborate.
What first made me think about this theory is MC's behavior around Leander. Even in version 1.0, MC has been guarded about their curse, adamant on avoiding the subject, if not very reluctant even under direct threat (Ais). But that melts away almost instantly around Leander. First, they reveal the information without much difficulty. Then, they show him their hands. Even if they are a bit nervous, they do seem less reluctant than with the other characters.
In version 2.0, this is accentuated by the additions and modifications in the Leander segments, especially the branching after the tavern scene. Leander lures MC in the guest room by claiming he got information reguarding their curse, guiltrips them and faint wanting to leave to give them some space. Then we have the whole moment with Leander and MC being horny as hell, and finally Leander leaves. After he left, MC remembers why they followed Leander here in the first place, as if regaining some clarity of mind.
It's evident MC's behavior is affected around Leander in a way that surpasses simple trust. Leander is a mage, a powerful and skilled one at that. He could have totally put MC under a spell to get what he wants. And to push that, I'll argue MC is not the only victim and that he does that with pretty much everyone but mostly with outsiders (Mhin and MC). With this in mind, I then thought about how and when Leander could have charmed his victims.
It could have been with the flower he gives MC upon meeting him, but we can decline to take it. Then I thought about the "protection" spell he uses before taking MC's hand, but MC trusted him almost blindly before doing so.
That's what led me to the main conclusion and what has been under our nose this whole time : Leander charms people via his eyes. His "monster" form shadow and the teal green spec in his eyes of the same color of his magic (and broach + belt) could be indicators that at least something is up with his eyes.
Tumblr media
Alongside the newly reinforced snake imagery, it is clear that his natural charms alone is not enough to tear down MC's guards in the span of 24 hours.
I could be wrong about the eyes as all the LIs got their eyes white in the monster form shadows, but Leander only has his eyes in white while the rest of the cast got other details in white (Ais' tattoo, Vere's chains, or other details to be able to make out some shapes). If not his eyes, I bet on his presence alone being enough. Could be via a spell, a potion, an artifact, a pact (why who though ?) anything.
That's my take on it, it's just a theory and tbh if I'm wrong I don't mind and I think I'm partially correct or put my finger onto smth >:) We'll see with the full game how close I was lmao
Thanks for reading ! ✨

A few days ago I woke up bleary eyed, sat down at my computer, and spat this out.
Mostly just a bit of goofy sketching but here's magical boy (magical man?) submas
I'm not gonna flesh this out a whole bunch since there's not much I can really do with it, but some rough notes:
Both of them have two soul stones, one in the hat and one in the staff. In their base uniform, the staff's stone is on the back of their gloves, separating when activated
They're only able to activate their abilities when they're with each other. Though they can both separately fight and return to normal, they need each other to begin the reaction and use their powers. Should one of them go missing, the other will not be able to use their abilities
The stone can be removed from the staff, returning to the hand if it is. The purpose of doing this is to replace it with a pokeball, allowing the staff to channel the pokemon's moves along with its standard attacks (electricity for Emmet, fire for Ingo)
Ingo and Emmet can trade (or steal) clothes mid transformation, switching pieces or entire uniforms. Emmet will typically borrow Ingo's darker gloves and boots if he expects to get particularly violent in battle, while Ingo usually takes Emmet's white accessories since he finds them more classy than his full black uniform
They are able to float in their magical forms, mostly using the levitation to run loops around their opponents and pressure them from all sides
The only opponent is literally Team Plasma, this power is reserved solely for beating grunts, sages, or Ghetsis should they ever cross paths (technically the code is to defend the world from evil but for any other issue they'll either settle it normally or with pokemon battling)
This was mostly for shits and giggles but I hope you enjoy 👍

i’ve been thinking about “sixer, it would eat you alive” since i read it and. man. every layer you peel back makes it worse. im not a bill apologist but. shit
if you (1) take it at face value, it paints bill as an apologetic murderer in his single (and maybe sole) open moment of regret. he doesn’t let his walls down often- only with ford do we even get to see the remnant of his galaxy, see the “actual remorse” ford describes, get just a hint of his origins. but he does it, because he thinks ford should know.
if you (2) take it from ford’s point of view, as something he committed to journal three, like. wow. imagine being so committed to a being that you’d hunt down and kill the monster that destroyed his home, only to (assumably) figure out later that that being was the monster. the small moments of trust, the “good times”, are so key to manipulation. how long did ford hold onto that one shred of vulnerability? no wonder ford stayed for as long as he did. in his eyes, bill was a survivor. ford wanted to survive too.
(slight tw below for unreality- any time i mention our reality, i mean “our reality” as a narrative device used in the book of bill as a proxy for the idea of bill being in our reality, since he can’t actually be in our reality. all of this is a fictional theory about a show/book with fictional contents!)
but if you (3) remember that “even his lies are lies” and absolutely Nothing bill says should be trusted. Whoo boy. if i read tbob right the book itself is being created in the theraprism (even tho it shows up with the ciphertologists at some point? idk that’s a whole other post). it’s meant to show what the reader wants to see; it manifests in our reality as what the collective fandom wants to see. so if we want to see truth, if we want to see where bill ended up and who he actually is, there’s a non-zero chance that the whole interaction was a complete fabrication.
imagine bill, stuck in the actively harmful, probably earth-illegal theraprism, once again being forced to be “fixed” and molded into something more palatable, being forced to conform no matter how much it hurts. (i know natural uncontrollable mutation ≠ just so much murder and destruction and chaos, but. you can’t ignore the similarities. bill has obviously been thinking about those silly straws.)
he looks back on everything that went wrong, back on his relationship with ford, back through every dimension where he wins. would that one moment, that one truth amid centuries of lies, have saved him from purgatory? if he had just been open? shown his damage? maybe he did think of his parents, or his henchmaniacs (especially the oracle). people who he might have once opened up to. maybe he just wanted to open up to someone again.
so in his own weird way, stuck in a cell, he reshaped reality again. in this reality, for this fleeting moment, he had been someone worth believing. and ford had listened, hell, ford had wanted to help. looking back, knowing how he treated ford, knowing how ford ended up because of it, maybe bill would have said the most honest thing he’d ever told ford: i am the monster, i am not worth your time or belief, and i will eat you alive.

time travel mechanics in link click — intentional inconsistencies? closed loops and parallel timelines (theory)
Back in 2021 or so, I wanted to make a post about the time travel mechanics in Season 1, and how they seemed to be inconsistent in certain episodes. I never ended up making that post, and the idea slowly faded from my mind, but I want to make that post now (armed with all the new information we've received since then) before Bridon/Yingdu arc episode 4 comes out because of the episode preview when Lu Guang says this:
Tumblr media
In Season 1, the time travel seems to operate on the principle of a closed loop. This is especially evident in the Doudou arc, when Cheng Xiaoshi sees himself in the past (while he's in Doudou's body) and realizes that he was always there; the "changes" he inflicted weren't really changes, because by the time he dives back from the future his actions in the past have already happened. This is also demonstrated when Xu Shanshan walks into the photo studio and interacts with Cheng Xiaoshi in S1E8, and we later find out that it was in fact Cheng Xiaoshi in Xu Shanshan's body interacting with himself. And again, with the ploy to use Xu Shanshan in order to lure Liu Min/Red Eyes to the photo studio. We also see this closed loop phenomenon happen in Season 2, for example when Cheng Xiaoshi possesses Lu Guang's body to go save himself in the past.
So I've always been a little bothered by the earthquake arc in Season 1. If the dives into the past have already happened, why does Chen Xiao come to the photo studio in the first place? If Cheng Xiaoshi (in Chen Xiao's body) won the basketball game and gave those kind words to Chen Xiao's loved ones, why does Chen Xiao remember otherwise?
I've wondered before what happens to the clients when Cheng Xiaoshi is possessing them—do they just not remember anything? Are they even aware of themselves being possessed? Why is no one concerned about missing memories for hours at a time or not being in control of their own body? Emma sort of skirts around this when she tells Cheng Xiaoshi, "So you were the one who sent that message" in S1E11, implying she's aware it wasn't her who sent it. For the sake of argument, though, I'm going to pass the general non-reaction of the clients to being possessed as a handwavey "the brain justifies it somehow later" thing and ignore it.**
That brings us again to the question: Why does Chen Xiao remember the past differently to the one Cheng Xiaoshi experienced/changed? Maybe the past isn't set in stone after all? Maybe, instead of just being a closed loop, the time travel in Link Click is operating on multiple systems?
In 2021, right after I watched Season 1, I was going to dismiss this as just an error. The writers slipped up and bungled their time travel mechanics a bit, and therefore the earthquake arc is different on accident. But we've learned since then that nothing is unintentional in this show, so why is that arc different from the others? (Also, I want to note, there is that moment in S1E4 where Lu Guang's face does that weird warping thing; coincidence? Maybe, but maybe not...)
My theory is: the time travel abilities that Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang have operate differently.
DISCLAIMER: My knowledge of photography and film is extremely limited, so please correct me if I'm wrong.
There's always been a lot of film imagery in this show—obviously, since the whole premise is based in photography—but as early as the Season 1 OP, "Dive Back In Time," we can see the repeated use of rewinding film rolls as a metaphor for going back in time.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Note also: Lu Guang dropping the photo and it transitioning into a film roll, and Cheng Xiaoshi being tangled up in film rolls and being "inside" the film in the background/trapped in the frame. I'll get to this later.
The thing is, once you record something on film, you can't change it; you can only rewind and play it again. This tracks with the closed loop theory: no real changes can be made, because they have already happened. So how is it possible that "changes are still happening," as Lu Guang says in the YE4 preview? It's likely that Vein (and Liu Xiao and Xia Fei) are involved, but I don't believe that's the root of the issue. And, I don't think it's just the ever-nebulous "butterfly effect," because in YE1 Lu Guang says this:
I used to think that even a flap of a butterfly might cause a hurricane strong enough to ruin the world. I was wrong. The power of time is still far beyond our imagination. The future may not change due to a ripple of the past. Not at all...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Yes, Lu Guang is a notoriously unreliable narrator, but I've decided to trust him on this one. Not to mention, butterfly effect shouldn't exist in a closed loop system.)
I've seen lots of excellent analyses illustrating the discrepancies this season, from the very first scene of YE1 (different furniture positioning, cracks in photo frame glass, bloodstains, presence of curtain, etc) to the changing positions of clothing, buildings, time of day, food, and so on in YE2 (go check out hyperfaexation's excellent YouTube video on their Shattered Memories theory for more details). The fandom is constantly theorizing about how many timelines there are. But while we've been asking ourselves how many timelines exist (five, ten, more?), we forgot to stop and ask: why do they exist?
The existence of multiple timelines doesn't fit into Season 1's time travel premise. In Season 1, it was always Cheng Xiaoshi that we were watching. Whereas Cheng Xiaoshi could be said to live "in" the film when he dives, perhaps Lu Guang is cutting the roll short at the point which he dives back to and splicing a new roll onto it. This could explain the scene from "Dive Back In Time" that I referenced earlier, with Lu Guang outside the film and Cheng Xiaoshi in it. It's not exactly that Lu Guang is diving back in time; it's more like he's diving out of time, into a parallel timeline and leaving this one behind. Maybe this season, we'll get to see more complicated time travel mechanics that result from the intersection of different powers. (And, while we're at it, maybe we can get an answer to why Cheng Xiaoshi has golden eyes for a few frames in YE1 when they're running away, because seriously what's up with that?)
**Another explanation for the non-reaction to the clients' possession could be the interaction of different timelines, but I'm not really sure how this would pan out so I'm not going to elaborate too much.
What does this have to do with the earthquake arc? Why would Lu Guang have a (slightly) different power than Cheng Xiaoshi, if he inherited it from Cheng Xiaoshi as we are led to believe? What happens to the discarded film, the abandoned timelines, when Lu Guang casts them away? Can Cheng Xiaoshi ever be saved? I don't have answers to any of these questions, and maybe I'm overthinking (ha) all of this and it really is just a writing inconsistency after all, but I want to believe Link Click's writers know what they're doing with this and all we can do is wait for the reveal.

Camp Fam Summer Headcanons (post jwcc - pre chaos theory)
credits to @emberphoenixisgoingtolive for helping me come up with some of these!
*this is what I imagine camp fam got up to during the summer when they were ages 15-18*
Along with the money Kenji inherited from his dad, he also inherited a lot of their estates and vehicles. He sold all the estates and most of the vehicles, but kept one. He kept the boat that would be least expensive to maintain (it also happened to be one of the speedboats)
He got his boating license when he was 16 and immediately boating became the camp fams main summer activity.
When they were in high school, camp fam would try to spend at least 3 weeks together during the summer, usually in California with the Bowmans. So, boating was their number one shenanigain.
They would buy cheap beer and go out on the water all day. (beer purchased thanks to Kenji's fake ID)
Kenji would only actually drink one beer max (because he was typically the driver). However, there were days when Brooklynn would take up the wheel for him and Kenji would get WASTEDDD.
Brooklynn would always buy a watermelon and infuse it with tequila (this shit is so good)
Other than chilling on the boat and drinking (as teens do), their fav activity was tubing. Chaos ensued.
Kenji always drove and it was his MISSION to throw everyone off. One time Ben flew off so violently he took a handle with him. (I've done this before)
Yaz will go, but she prefers to sit on the boat and take videos of her friends flying off.
Sammy and Brook are always so stressed about their bikini tops falling off. One time, Brooks actually did fall off and she and Sammy were searching for it for like 20 mins.
Darius is the one shouting directions to everyone "LEAN LEFT" "BEN YOU DUMBASS THAT'S RIGHT I SAID LEFT LEAN LEFT"
Darius and Brook are the type to stand up while Kenji's doing donuts and absolutely wipe out (they will never learn their lesson)
When camp fam does normal beach days together, Sammy, Ben, and Kenji are out playing in the waves whilst Brooklynn, Yaz, and Darius are sunbathing.
Every time they go to the beach, Sammy and Yaz end up making out on a beach towel at some point.
Darius and Kenji love to do acrobatics with Brooklynn (basically just seeing who can throw Brooklynn the farthest)
Ben's always got the wackiest swim trunks on - Kenji and Darius wear sensible trunks - usually black or blue. Also, Benny boy has to wear a sun shirt (he'll turn into a tomato if he doesn't)
Yaz is a one piece kinda girl. No matter how hot it is, she's gonna wear a one piece. She does NOT trust bikini's - she's not gonna take the risk of something falling out. Sammy likes bikini's, but only if they're tanning. If they're gonna be in the water she's doing something with a bit more coverage to prevent accidents. Brooklynn, on the other hand, is gonna wear a bikini no matter what. Honestly, a lot of hers are pretty skimpy. She has no shame and if her top gets lost, she'll just put on Kenji's t shirt.
Kenji was always so flustered around Brooklynn at the beach. Yaz would tease him relentlessly.
They're big on riding around in Kenji's car to go absolutely nowhere. You'll be driving down the road minding your business and you pass a car stuffed with teenagers probably blasting Pitt Bull. Brooklynn being the smallest always had to sit on someone's lap because there weren't enough seats.
The girls would have nights where they kick the boys out and have a sleepover. They'd order pizza and do nails, dye hair, and watch crappy reality TV shows (or esther stone). Sometimes Mrs. Bowman would join.

Operator Theory reveal where it turns out Omega (not suspecting anything about him) did try to talk CX-2 out of working for Hemlock during the trip over to Tantiss, and between being talked at by this little girl who makes his heart hurt, cutting off Crosshair’s hand, and being annoyed at Hemlock taking the controls for the dagger ship, Tech was having an existential crisis in a tube somewhere and moderately distracted while also having five bodies to live in at once. Hence why CX-2 was so much less effective and why the worst batch sucked at their jobs after that first fight.

I have an unnecessary theory I made about how some Chara misconceptions, particularly their sexualization came to be.
Despite how much I don't like it happening, I find I enjoy analysing what happened (I blame studying psychology)
In my theory, it was like this
"Chara is evil" + "Chara is a girl" -> "Chara is an evil girl"
Then for a while they keep thinking that Chara is an evil girl, and are encouraged by the rest of the fandom. So, they make fan content, perhaps an AU
"Chara is an evil girl" + person finds evil women hot, so they sexualize them -> Chara is sexualized
(Came up with this during a comment convo with @gabersupermurder )

Theory - plot is pretty much revealed
We have pretty much been given the plot.
The Hint
Job is a psychiatrist and is doing his research on patient experiences after a cardiac arrest.
Patient 1 - At the time i did not feel anything. It was all black. When i woke up, I was on the operating table and incubated.
Patient 2 - I saw bright light and explains out of body experience. She saw people in white.
Patient 3 - I don't know what happened. I lived life normally. But it was my life in the past. Like the past was playing again in my mind. That feeling felt very real. But one thing did not feel real. I could see 4 minutes into the future.
And, how did we start this show?
A senior doctor entering a vip room, with number 4...and if you are paying attention, it is bible on the bed..dying of heart issues. Everytime we get a flatline, scene cuts to jess/tyme being shot!
Tumblr media
What is happening is that Great/Bible is on the operating table in room number 4, and doctor is shocking his heart. Whatever we are seeing are Bible's thoughts at the time he is on the operating table - the past before him reaching the operating table.
He is living his life normally but time flow is not normal because we are in a dream/thought world. Events jump back and forth. He can see into the future because it is his past and his mind already knows what is going to happen (room # 4, why starting with accident because the event let him meet Jess back in the past).
And, everytime he gets a shock on operating table, we see him get a heart attack in the lift or wherever. ( Now, if you are wondering why is time gap so large between shocks/heart palpitations in his "regular world".. lol.. because we are not in regular world.. we are in his thoughts.. ofcourse timeflow will be different.. you can think of a million things in nanosecond)
********************************************************
So, overall i think every patient's experience is going to matter. E.g. the religious one who had out of body experience tells us that either bible will have out of body experience or like her, he is also seeing what is most important to him - his love of life Jess and events linked to him - from meet, greet, to end.
Jess died (and eerily same place where dad is running shady business by a man wearing the black suit).....
*************************************************************
So, did the woman survive who was hit by the car - LOL, NO!!!
She DIED. that's why bible had the premonition twice... because that happened!.. he can wish for an alternate ending in his mind/dreams but she died... eventually his mind will have to adjust to reality.
However, Jess is not dead because his killing is happening at the same time while Bible is on the operating table... so yea.. he is going to save Jess somehow...
*********************************************************
Other things
Bas is taking over the shady business so yes, he is the villain killing both Great and Tyme
Why? Because Great and Tyme are lovers and investigating together
What? Death of tyme's ex girlfriend - this lady
Tumblr media
And, lastly, hence the ost.. and trailer we got.. where the final words were "something that didn't even exist"
lol.. nothing exists.. Great's mind is playing its own tricks.. running away from the guilt of killing someone, still main events will happen so that life broadly remains the same - for us, the viewers

Ok so suppose you have a torsion free group, G. That is, there's no g such that g^n=e the identity. That's fine right.
Now take a field, k, of characteristic 0, so something like the rationals, reals, complex numbers, that sort of thing.
We can form the group ring k[G], by saying the elements are of the form k_1g_1 + ... + k_ng_n where k_i are in the field and g_n are in the group. Essentially these are like polynomials in as many variables as there are elements of the group. Add an multiply like polynomials, except, when you multiply, you also do the multiplication in the group.
This sort of thing comes up a bunch in representation theory, they're well studied objects.
In general, it's not known that these have no zero divisors. That is, are there elements f,g of the group ring such that fg=0? Which is fucked up imo. It sounds obvious that they shouldn't have zero divisors like where would they come from. And yet.
