Elita-1 and B-127 have caught up to Optimus and are now asking around in hopes of narrowing down his exact location- fortunately, Optimus had spotted them first and without much thinking grabbed and dragged Soundwave along with him in his mad-dash to escape their “capture”.

Soundwave is… not quite pleased with Optimus’ sudden run, but is able to put two-and-two together that Optimus is avoiding someone.

Besides- he won’t turn down a free drink.

Like sitting in random boxes or biting people sometimes, scratching furniture n running around past midnight with lots of energy. Yknow, normal people things to do!

but also i think that soundwave would look gorgeous in-between optimus and megatron. its therapy for his feral ass!!!

Soundwave wants to know what the mech in front of him is keeping- sure he can hear the active thoughts that run through one’s processor or determine whether or not they speak the truth- he can not uncover a secret that isn’t being thought of. And for as loud as this mech’s processor is, he knows he’s hiding something- or more of that he’s hiding who he is. What the mech says is not the truth, and Optimus is a terrible liar.
