1. First ship you remember

Peter Pan/Wendy Darling (Disney’s Peter Pan) is my best guess as far back as I can remember. That’s the original OTP next to Bruce Wayne/Selina Kyle (DCU) and Ariel/Prince Eric (Disney’s The Little Mermaid).

2. Your newest ship

Hmmm,,, I haven’t really watched anything new,,,,,,, but I mean I did get into Geralt/Jaskier (Netflix’s The Witcher) recently. I really like them.

3. Favourite ship ever

STARES LONGINGLY AT PETER/WENDY

I go between them and Mulan/Li Shang (Disney’s Mulan) and Korra/Asami Sato (Avatar: Legend of Korra) and Yuuri Katsuki/Viktor Nikiforov (Yuuri On Ice) and Arya Stark/Gendry Waters (GOT/ASOIAF) for my favorite ships of all time

I grew up on the His Dark Materials books and I always was a Lyra Belaqua/Will Parry shipper and that has never ever changed. They’re so sweet. I WOULD LIKE PHILIP PULLMAN TO BRING THEM IN THE NEXT BOOK THAT IS SUPPOSED TO COME OUT. DO NOT FUCK AROUND.

I love love love love Rey/Finn/Poe Dameron. Finnreypoe. Jedistormpilot. I fell in love with Rey/Finn and Finn/Poe through “The Force Awakens” and then saw in the novelization that there was hints of Rey/Poe Dameron and LATCHED onto it. Don’t even fight me with “The Rise Of Skywalker” because it was COMPLETELY a Jedistormpilot movie and that’s all I was there for. Those three characters.

I ship Hannibal Lecter/Clarice Starling in the movies for Hannibal related things, even though Will Graham exists in them, but I ship Hannibal Lecter/Will Graham for NBC’s Hannibal 100% and won’t ship them with anyone else

I never expected to ship Harry Potter/Ron Weasley/Hermione Granger all together years down the road,,,,, since as a kid I flip-flopped between Ron/Hermione & Harry/Me,,,, er,,,,,,,,, I mean Harry/My OC That Was Definitely Not Me At All and Harry/Hermione but here we are

right now it’s Rue Bennett/Jules Vaughn (HBO’s Euphoria) because they’re so cute,,, they really are,,, but they can be so bad together and I hate that! I just want it to work out but Jules doesn’t understand her own feelings,,, and is kinda fucking around with Rue’s feelings,,,,,, and Rue needs to deal with her drug addiction problems first,,,, but let’s see what happens for Season 2

okay FIRST OFF we don’t “brotp” anything no more because the term was created with homophobic connotations so replace it with “friendship” and honestly I can’t decide if I like Lucifer/Chloe Decker (Netflix’s Lucifer) as a romantic or platonic ship or somewhere between. I haven’t decided.

Since the Moon Nexus is the lake itself, Rayla may have to dive down there in order to find the answers she seeks. Thing is...when Callum stumbles upon Sarai in his coma, he's *also* underwater as well. Is this a coincidence, or did Callum's mind somehow wander to the Moon Nexus?

This is great! I don’t think Callum’s mind connected to the Moon Nexus while he was in that fever dream, because that seems like the kind of thing that would give him a Moon arcanum. But I do think Callum’s sinking into the water in his fever dream could be a form of foreshadowing. Callum was kind of dying after dark magic got a hold of him. He slipped into a world between life and death, in a way. He was dreaming about drowning and dying and there was even a tiny portal to hell in there for half a second. Once, I was really sick and having trouble breathing, and I dreamed all night that I was floating on top of a stormy sea, gasping for breath between giant waves. Brains do funny things when they know their body is struggling hard.

I don’t know whether humans, or anyone, can necessarily enter the world beyond life and death by just... half-dying. But maybe they can? Maybe that watery experience is this world’s “light at the end of the tunnel”. Or maybe it was just put there to be a metaphor to call back to after the graphic novel story comes out, so there’s a continuity with the story elements. That water is probably doing double duty as a scenario where breathing is literally vital in Callum’s character arc, as well being as an anchor point for the idea of having underwater visions.

We’ve already seen Rayla jump into the water and sink deep, when she saved Bait from the lake monster.

She almost died then. I think there’s a good chance that, somehow, she’ll need to almost die in the Moon Nexus water too, in order to connect or cross over or however she accesses what she needs to reach. Every one of us is only ever one breath away from dying. If Rayla loses her breath when she’s underwater, then she’s kind of in a Schrodinger’s-cat situation: alive and breathlessly dead at the same time. Maybe that’s all it’ll take, or maybe she’ll need to do something else, take something with her. But she’ll need to take herself to that edge, the same kind of edge Callum found.

Will she see visions? Will they work the same way Callum’s did--supportive, cooperative, telling him what he needed to know, making connections for him? Or will Rayla’s experience be darker, more dangerous, more powerful? Maybe, being a Moonshadow in the Moon Nexus, she’ll get swamped by illusions or actual historia-viventem-level flashbacks or something. Maybe she’ll see actual spirits in the water, kind of like Frodo did in the Dead Marshes. Maybe they won’t be friendly anymore. Maybe she’ll need to learn to communicate with them, during repeated visits, while Callum only needed one death-defying try to learn his lesson.

I can’t wait to see what Rayla has to do and what she learns at the Moon Nexus! I am so excited for this graphic novel, you have no idea.

Ok. We got to the bottom of Callums weird behaviour and it wasn't good. Turns out the tenant downstairs is an evil bastard. He really hurt him.

And then, when my back was turned Avery vanished.

HE ONLY WENT DOWNSTAIRS TO CONFRONT MAXWELL. Oh my God, I've never been so scared in my whole life. I don't know what I'd do if anything happened to Avery. I love that dork to death. He was beat up, but he was okay. Thank God. But, heh, you should have seen the the other guy.

Anyway. Avery's way too much of a klutz to sort things out efficiently, so I did it for him. With a bit of help from my arch enemy. Who was keen to help. I personally wouldn't have asked him but *someone* thought they'd interfere. Give the dickhead his due, he was surprisingly helpful. And i guess, he's probably the most discreet person we could have enlisted. He so insanely in love with my bro he won't do anything wrong by him. …wait did I say that or An…? That's kind of weird. But not untrue.

Alan kept ringing too. I've barely talked about him in my blog. I barely talk about him period. I like to pretend he doesn't exist. Ok sorry, that a lie. He's my brother and I care about him. Genuinely. We just don't gel so I don't, uh whatever. Anyway. He has this incredible knack for ringing at the most, inconvenient moments. Like after pigeons have exploded or windows have smashed or a mutual sibling has had.. an altercation. It's uncanny. I don't think it's a coincidence. But I'd rather not get into an argument with the dude. By which I mean try and talk to him about it. There's always a 95% chance that when Alan and I are in each others vicinity we'll start arguing, and then later on it'll all seem so petty and he'll make me feel like i'm the bad guy cuz he's such a self righteous prick.

Speaking of weird shit. Avery mentioned the Black stuff again. I wasn't expecting it. I dunno. Again just hearing about it made me feel heavy and full of dread. And, I don't like saying it but I felt this little micro flash of hatred and then it was gone. And it was just my confused bro staring back at me. I did my best to stay chill, but it was hard. What he said was interesting though. I wonder if my Light can do the same. I wanted to talk about it, but the situation, well it wasn't the right time really. And Callum was there which made it a bit awkward. I don't know if Callum picked up on it. I find Callum really hard to read. To my untrained eyes he just has this kind of Elijah Wood as Frodo Baggins eternally confused/worried expression that i can't decipher. Maybe Avery is better at picking up his nuances.
