Something about the hand shaped enemies in Zelda games give me the absolute heebie-jeebies. I hate them so much. They freak me out man, it’s legit bad for my heart!

So here’s an artistic interpretation of the first time I came across those damnable gloom floormasters in game. It was like every creepy hand enemy merged into one nightmarish abomination come to haunt me. Link almost met the goddesses that day…

I am no stranger to making oc’s for the fandoms I engage in and most of them I rarely talk about so let me give y’all a quick breakdown of one of the gals I’ve been playing around with the the last few months

I was talking with my sister about how strange (and sad!) it is that Sidon and Mipha’s mother is mentioned maybe *once* in passing and how funny it is that neither of them look remotely like their dad, so naturally this sparked a desire to explore what she may have been like/looked like!

I’m going to guess she was close to Yona’s size (she’s my main canon adult Zora woman reference point) which still makes her itty bitty compared to Dorephan. And also I headcanon that both kids take after her — which is why they both had special “Sage” abilities and Dorephan does not, it’s all on mom’s side of the family! The second drawing was me trying to figure out their approximate size difference (which would’ve been comically large anyway), featuring young Dorephan!

I know the “dead mom” trope is a major plot device in this particular series, but it’s nice to think about all the pre-tragedy family stuff.

Anyway! Her name is Sola!
