I've been digging up some one of my most neglected stories recently and I'm finally actually developing the rest of the cast after like what? 7 or 8 years or smth? I genuinely don't know when I first thought up Lace but she's been floating at the edge of my mind since then as my token true timeloop guy as opposed to Butters who doesn't rly count because the quote unquote timeloop was entirely within their control and only was a continuous loop because they kept consciously trying again and again. Lace on the other hand. Legitimately 100% powerless in her timeloop situation, as in there was quite literally Nothing she could do to end the loops herself. Some gods just threw her in a 50 year timeloop without even doing the bare minimum of telling her first and she just sorta had to live with that until it from her perspective abruptly stopped leaving her to deal with the fallout of everything she went through now that she's suddenly being forced to live a real life again. And as fun as all of that is it has been very stagnated for years because there is in fact a story and world that exists outside of and around this one plot that matter quite a bit and that I have been refusing to properly work on until now lol.

Hi, I'm Canon. I'm a disabled artist with some kind of gender and homosexual tendencies. You might have seen my usernames around in posts about loving OCs, or complaining about video game inaccessibility, or attached to one of the worm-centric comics I made, like these ones:

I hate having to ask for help when there's already so much going on, but I am also At My Limit.

To make a long story short, I am very disabled in multiple ways and I am living in a very inaccessible (and often directly disability-hostile) home. While I live with family, they do not provide assistance (financial or otherwise) and our rural location and the glacial pace of Canada's social services have left me A Bit Fucked. (Whatever you think Canada's health care provides, either it doesn't, or it takes half a year to even book an appointment.)

I've asked for help in the past with smaller goals, but costs continue to add up - and this time, finally, I may be able to actually make permanent accessibility changes to the household... if I can fund it myself. On the amount I get from the disability support program in my province, I can't do that; I would have to stop eating for months to afford even one of the major renovations in that time, and, obviously, I can't do that.

What kind of accessibility updates would this be going towards?:

A wheelchair ramp at at least one exit of the house; there are four potential exits, and all of them are currently multiple sets of stairs without railings.

A stair lift (for upstairs access) or a walk in tub (for downstairs access), depending on what my family will agree to

Dressers / storage that I am physically capable of opening

HRT (guess what isn't covered by Canada's health care, apparently!)

A whole mess of medical appointments (vision, prescriptions, dental, infinite various symptom testings) and transportation to and from those appointments (guess what else isn't covered!!)

A functional freezer

Physiotherapy 👍

Food 👍👍👍

hi. i'm in a really bad spot right now.

my job charges me to park ($6-10 every shift) and i'm not making enough to keep my head above water and pay my bills, let alone other things like gas, car maintenance, and car registration. i genuinely do not know what to do other than ask for help. i know everyone is struggling right now but i really do not know where else to turn as the debt im in is becoming a hole i cannot crawl out of.

Okay so I'm trying really hard to get into SWWSDJ but there's so much lore not e en in the games I feel very much in over my head lol. Can you like...give a rundown? Or at least point me in the direction of where to start? I wanna write fic about the clown man damn it lol

I understand what you mean. When you fist enter into a fandom it can be pretty daunting, especially if you don't get a lot of the references and information that the bulk of the fandom takes as common knowledge.

A lot of the information we have about the lore for SWWSDJ comes from the various demos and teasers. However, the lore is being updated as the game is in development, as evidenced by the differences in each of the demos. Things have changed since its initial demo release, and will likely continue to change until the full game is released. SWWSDJ is very much a work in progress.

The most obvious place to start of course is the latest demo. You can check out a public release of it on the SnaccPop Studios Patreon over here.

There's a release that came after this one with a bit more content, but you'll have to become a member if you want to see it for yourself. Personally I think it's worth it for all the goodies that are regularly released on the patreon. If you've signed up, I highly recommend checking it out.

After that, I think it's good to look at the official webpages for SWWSDJ, including the official tumblr over on @sunny-day-jack-official. The tumblr page answers quite a number of questions from the fans, as well as some teasers. They've even made a listing of most of the other official webpages in this post here.

Another page that teases some juicy lore is the official profiles over on Toyhouse. Want to know the canon heights of the love interests and their birthdays? This is the place to get that info.

The official twitter page has been a place to pick up bits of lore since the beginning. There's plenty of teasers, profiles, and it gives a good sense of how things have evolved during development.

There are some teasers that are floating around posted by the original creator and others working on the project, but the rule of thumb is to take these with a pinch of salt. They're very good to inspire ideas and lore crafting, but if it's not on an official page like the twitter, tumblr, patreon, etc. then it's technically not canon.

Speaking of technically not canon, if you're interested in seeing my deep dives into my theories about the lore, AU crafting, and just gushing about the series in general, feel free to check out my rambles. I've done a lot of thinking about this series, and my opinions keep evolving as new developments release. I've also done quite a lot of writing as well.

Not sure if anyone will actually know what game I'm talking about since I feel like it's super obscure?? but I just remembered it while watching an rpgmaker iceberg   

It was a game that you could find on one of those sites similar to jayisgames (??) where people would create posts "reviewing" or giving a quick summary of the game and at the bottom there would be either a download link or a button you could click to play the game in browser depending on the game. I remember having to download this one and watching a youtube tutorial (how to open game files) bc this was literally like in the early 2000s when I barely knew how to do anything involving downloads lol. After you download the game icon pops up on your computer. The icon for this game would be a dog wearing a gasmask with a bright red flower in it's mouth (its kind of hard to tell that its a dog unless you have actually gone through and played the game, because the gasmask dog is one of the "enemies" you combat while playing) Theres no title under the icon, I think it was literally just the star ( * ) symbol but I guess its supposed to be seen as a flower? There isn't an opening sequence, or at least not one that I can remember super well? Maybe I always just held skip and so now I dont really remember the opening scene. Everything in the first room you're in kind of has like a dark grey brick texture. Almost like it was made with default brick texture in rpgmaker just with the hue slide around to kind of represent other textures? Like tables/chairs/dressers/things on the wall would be the same exact brick texture just color changed to be brown. They dont stay like this for the entire game, its just in the first room. All the other rooms in this game are super surreal but very gothic? Like weird stained glass and iron gate type things. Theres lots of "framed" pictures on the walls when you walk through what are hallways. I remember thinking that the game was set in something similar to the reptile room from the "A series of unfortunate events" movie with jim carrey, just with the lights turned off or something. SUPER dark. You can collect pictures off the walls and use them as weapons, sort of. But it's better to just use the fireplace poker you can get from the room you start in. There are fireplaces in a bunch of other rooms and you can re-put your firepoke into it to make a better weapon. If you don't pick up this item I guess you work towards a good ending? edit; my fake lore was too long you can read the rest on the adopt page sorryyy

Day 4 - Dream

Tamber’s love for semplicity makes her dream clear, pure and simple as well.

Since when her family passed away, her biggest dream has been just to be able to bring everyone back, and so to live her life happily like back in childhood. She lost everyone prematurely, which scarred her inside, and never got the chance to grow up with more familiar warm around her. Only Lea and Isa then became what could keep up her smile.

Tamber was very attached to her parents. She and Hana also shared a unique sisterhood, until she mysteriously disappeared around the age of 13, few time after their parents’ demise. They used to play together everyday, making flower crowns in their garden or outside, passing time with crafty things, stargazing a lot, trying to sing together, and Hana was the one, thanks to their mother and father’s culture, who additionally taught Tamber about anything regarding flowers and stars. A knowledge that Tamber then expanded by herself through the years. The family was known in Radiant Garden to be very nice and helpful to anyone, also to be cultivators of certain kind of well refined type of flowers.

Tamber ended up under Ansem the Wise’s wing also because she thought he might help with her matter, however he neved did, and she had been keeping the dream for herself for a long while.

In the year gap post-KHIII, Tamber discovers what has really happened to her parents and sister, thanks to a ‘’special’’ individual. *wink wink*

She is still trying to find a possible way to bring back at least her sister, with the thought she might has left her heart intact somewhere.

My first thought was imagining Pep in 'Sopping Wet Creature' form being in either Porto or Bello's arms, but it's more likely him having a panic attack and both of them helping him get home.

Wait, what do you mean new scars? And hmmm, clones don't really have blood (at least not like regular blood), but given what we currently know (or at least theorize) about Pep, perhaps he was the only one that could've helped Mirtillo.

(On a related note: Mirtillo being purple and considered to be Pep's baby. And a certain picture with a baby wearing purple. I'm not saying they're the same, just that maybe there's some subconscious connections here. Maybe the loss hits harder because he has lost his child before. It's twice now that he was taken away from his family.)

Also the dramatic irony of having an idea of what exactly happened to his family hurts! And every single one of Pep's links being one-sided thoughts! I'm over here making myself sadder theorizing that the last parts of each one are the exact thoughts he had while searching for them! That even though he was able to see the world outside the tower, he couldn't fully enjoy that freedom because in the back of his mind he's thinking that he failed them, that he was too weak and couldn't protect them–

He hopes that maybe, just maybe, he could find them. To be able to hug them again, hold them all in his arms and never let go. He would never ever lose them again.

First point about [Porto] and [Bello] rescuing Pep I actually hope to touch on soon! Well, 'soon' as in 'within the next few story posts' - when they will actually be up is yet to be determined jfgksgd - but you're not too far off hehe

Second point about Pep getting a new scar - this is a little confusing since I don't draw scars in my cartoony style (for some reason that I do not remember) - unless it's like [Halloumi's] missing eye scar, which is just a big 'X' - but a lot of the characters do have visible scarring!

We just gotta hit them with the unsilly beam, like this;

And there they are! Although Pep's 'scars' are just markings to mimic Peppino's scars - except for one - while clones do not typically scar due to their healing/regeneration factor, it is possible

[Mirtillo] and [the baby in that 'certain' picture] both being purple babies might be intentional, or it might be bc I have a bias for purple, I'll never tell - but I do confirm they are not the same being, since Mirtillo has been depicted as a newborn clone (the 'gummy bear' stage) and clones made out of human cadavers do not have this stage

And yes!!! Pep doesn't know what happened to any of them, and he misses them all so much!!!

But they just might be closer than he thinks...
