I’m Noha Ayyad from Gaza, Mother of martyr and wife of martyr 💔

17 people of My family was forcibly displaced from their homes to the southern Gaza Strip, and they now live in samall tent , The occupation completely destroyed our house and our business and we no longer have anything that we used to own.

MY mother suffers from joint pain and back cartilage pain. Also, she had surgery before the war to remove a tumor in the intestine 💔!!️ and she needs to continue her treatment.

As for my middle brother, Darwish,He has a family of 10 people, he is paralyzed in his right leg, he suffers from severe leg pain.  Two months before the war, he had surgery in Egypt to implant a joint in his leg, and he was supposed to return to Egypt to continue his treatment, but the war prevented him from doing so, so he urgently needs to go to Egypt to continue his treatment.

As for me, I lost my small and beautiful family in the 2014 war, which consists of my husband and my only child, whom I gave birth to after 7 years of deadly waiting and a very long and expensive treatment journey. He was only two and a half years old. I lost him and did not hug him enough to forget the agony of waiting for him to come. I also suffered injuries, which resulted in several operations on my right leg and other parts of my body, the effects of which I still suffer to this day. So, I don't want to experience what it's like to lose someone I love again. It's a very painful feeling. Please save my family.

Life here is unbearable, especially tent life is very difficult, and the situation is getting worse every day.

So, after careful introspection, I have decided that actually, Stucky doesn't do it for me any more. I have found my new OT3 - Bucky/Rocket/Nebula.

Firstly, the ship name is just better. Just because fate keeps “sticking” them together doesn’t make “Stucky” okay.

On the other hand, BUCKETULA just rolls off the tongue, like a skittish tarantula but more pleasant. I am also rather partial to NEBUROCKY.

Reasons they are my OT3:

Bucky has 1 vowel, Rocket has 2 vowels, Nebula has 3 vowels. The universe aligned for them.

We all love leather-clad tired-of-your-shit feral soldiers, and this ship has THREE

They are born on 3 different planets but have SHARED LIFE EXPERIENCES: Bucky was captured, brainwiped and had his body forcibly modified; Nebula was captured, brainwashed and had her body taken apart and replaced piece by piece; Rocket was captured, enhanced against his wishes and had his body taken apart and implants inserted.’

Reasons they are made for each other: Bucky loves flying vehicles, and both Nebula and Rocket can fly ships! Rocket loves prosthetics and both Bucky and Nebula have prosthetics! Nebula loves using guns, and both Rocket and Bucky carry a lot of guns!

Evidence they already love each other: Bucky and Rocket only met for 5 seconds and they were able to fight back to back like long term partners. Rocket and Nebula only reunited for 5 minutes and were able to overcome their previous enmity and work together. If Bucky and Rocket get along, and Nebula and Rocket get along, it follows that Nebula and Bucky will get along!

Don't forget that Rocket still calls Peter "Quill" years after they met, but already calls Bucky "Bucky". And while Bucky couldn't make it to the Christmas party, he still sent Rocket his favourite gift, an old prosthetic arm, via Nebula <3

Not to mention that after Bucky was Snapped, Rocket was so upset he changed his costume from front panels (left, Infinity War) to side panels like Bucky’s (right, Endgame). Clearly Bucky stole his little gremlin heart after that dance on the battlefields.

It is very clear to me that the three of them went on a space adventure after Bucky came back from the Blip, which is how they got so close. It also explains why Bucky has an empty apartment in New York because what's the point of furnishing your place when your space friends might drop by any minute and take you on a road trip to the next galaxy. Bucky also clearly learned his jailbreaking skills from Rocket, breaking Zemo out by causing a distraction wasn’t much different to the first GotG movie!

These three clearly have a lot of love for each other. James Gunn is just too up his own ass to see it. Stay tuned for more meta and fics coming your way!

"Okay, so with these three, my shipping logic asks the question of whether it is gay to start a band with your two besties who you just met but immediately became attached to you and the idea of bands alike. The answer is yes. Mashiro, Tsukushi and Touko saw exactly one concert together at the very start of Morfonica's band story, and, after Mashiro began trying to start a band, Touko and Tsukushi immediately jumped on board, despite the facts that none of them had even touched an instrument before (except Tsukushi, who I think had played taiko drums before, but this isn't important), and this made them all super close. Later, when they'd recruited another member, the band had a bit of a fallout which caused Mashiro to briefly leave, and Touko and Tsukushi were both so upset by this that it interfered with their practice, and it was super obvious to even their new bandmate that they were just missing Mashiro. Then Mashiro apologized for the whole fallout and was happily accepted into the band again. This leads into a ton of events, since Bandori operates by progressing the story through different in-game events, which opened the story up for a lot of focus on their dynamic where Touko and Tsukushi's dynamic is pretty teasing from Touko's end but they still care for and respect each other a lot, Touko and Mashiro's dynamic is pretty similar since it's easy to poke fun at the mess that is Mashiro but for some reason Touko somehow ends up saying much gayer things to Mashiro all the time and helping to get her out of her comfort zone, and Tsukushi and Mashiro's dynamic, which I know is the most popular out of these three, is very devoid of this gentle teasing and is more based around mutual understanding, respect and shared experiences, since, instead of it being one of these two with an ever-confident Touko, it's somebody with super obviously low self-esteem (Mashiro) and somebody who seems very confident (to the point where the band story fallout I noted involved Mashiro being frustrated at Tsukushi because she saw her as somebody who was infinitely more talented and confident than her and that she was expecting too much from her) but also loses her confidence super quickly and very frequently loses faith in herself. Their dynamic is a little more focused on because a lot of their stories involve them taking inspiration from each other (such as in band story 2, which takes place after Tsukushi got a part-time job, and involves Tsukushi telling Mashiro that she wouldn't have even done that if she wasn't inspired by how confident Mashiro had grown). That being said, there is the underlying theme between the three of them just having a lot of admiration and trust in each other even if Touko rarely expresses it."

That's a fantastic template for two people. And I hope to use it for Vix and Shadowheart once I explore more of their journey. But. Uh. My current brainrot is my AoT OT3. So I'm stealing this opportunity to share the latest version of their chart (OT3 template here).

Explanatory rambles below the cut!

Hange is a chaotic non-binary mess of a leader soldier, Levi is a clean freak who blunt and crass and so deliberate with emotions that he doesn't express them like others do, and OC Shion is a broken sunshine character seeking joy on her better days and clawing for meaning on her worse ones.

[greeting each other] Levi consistently uses demeaning terms toward Hange. "Idiot," "four-eyes," etc. When he uses their name, it's a big deal. I haven't figured out what he'll call Shion, but since she confessed so early in their relationship, he didn't have a chance to come up with something like what he calls Hange before Things Changed between them.

[First to confess] ahaha yeah Shion first tells Levi she loves him in chapter 9. We're on chapter 23 and neither Levi nor Hange have used those words. (but we're getting so damn close aaaaaaa)

[First to kiss] Levi kisses Shion after she confesses. He can't articulate why. She doesn't press him to. He knows she's important to him, something he shows in a thousand little ways. (Hange's a force of nature and takes all of this in stride in chapter 10 in very Hange-esque ways.)

[Dies for the others] OHOHO the WAYS this could happen depending on timeline and adherence to canon. Dare I explore a worldstate in which Shion dies to save Hange's life? WE SHALL SEE

[Prone to hide their feelings] This condition is in Levi Ackerman's blood okay. And an innocent chapter 8 conversation leads Hange to hide their feelings for both Shion and Levi to some extent. Their affection? Not at all hidden. Their romantic feelings? BURY THAT SHIT. Until they can't keep it buried any longer.

[First to apologize after a fight] Shion is not one who tolerates strain between herself and those she loves. Especially if she's the person responsible for it. But when that strain exists for reasons outside of her control… she won't apologize for the sake of apologizing. And she's learning not to apologize for who she is or how she feels.

["Excuse me, they asked for no pickles"] Shion will sit there and roll with things (and may encourage others to do the same depending on the situation) but there is no freaking way Levi or Hange would accept any of the three getting pickles when they didn't ask for pickles, lol.

[Spoils the others] How said spoiling occurs depends on the person, but they're each ready able and willing to spoil the other two.

[Wakes up first] Levi canonically doesn't sleep much. So I headcanon that Hange has experimented with sleeping draughts (experiments which always piss off Levi regardless of effectiveness because Hange takes it as a personal challenge to slip him one without him noticing). But for this relationship, he's the first one awake which has already manifested multiple times in the fic. The very limited scenarios in which he wouldn't wake first are super fun to play with~

["What's updog?"] I took this line less literally, seeing it as which of them are the most casual in speaking to the others, most likely to make puns, etc. And that's 100% Hange.

[First to propose] Once the OT3 shakes off its rocky romantic restart, this is unnecessary. Hell, even before the official confessions, they're already a unit.

[Wants children] I actively avoid giving my OCs children. I stopped writing for one in part because it seemed like children were a likely outcome. And then Shion comes along and turns that on its head. So. There's a kid in one possible future. With three parents who love her very much.

[Didn't know they were dating] The they-were-already-a-unit thing I mentioned earlier comes into play here. I have mixed feelings about the word "dating" here only because it tends to have romantic connotations, and both Shion and Hange's initial feelings are strongly platonic. But given how much I adore Levihan and that this is my first-ever OT3, plus after thinking long and hard about how Shion eventually feels about Hange and vice versa, I decided all of their feelings would be considered romantic.

[Initiates contact] Shion holds back SO HARD from being affectionate toward Levi, but he picks up on that (and appreciates it) and works to communicate when he's more open to that sort of thing. Not that he's good at it, but he tries. Meanwhile, Hange is alllll about touching and other affectionate gestures, which helps further lower the barrier for the other two.

[Approached first] Shion kind of sort of approached Levi first (remember, she was holding back) and Levi, once he's open to taking another step, doesn't hold back. But I'm thinking about this romantically, and Hange is highly reticent to show romantic advances toward either one knowing that Shion has feelings for Levi.

[Says the L word first] Shion 100%.

[The oblivious one] I'm using "oblivious" a bit loosely here; Levi takes a while to sort through what to name his feelings, and Hange hangs out in denial for quite some time.

Any lines going from circle to circle are shared sentiments, any with arrows are sentiments specific to either Elpis (Azem) or Era(WoL). For all intents and purposes, Era is Elpis but much older and has amnesia. Her ancient self is essentially the childhood of her soul, and her current self is the mid 40’s of her soul (with some experience outsourced to her shards).

Hythlodaeus

Elpis grew up with him and the trio sort of naturally ended up in a OT3 situation over time.

Era feels the remnants of these emotions, but due to the passage of time and lacking memories she feels alienated from him and wants the lingering fondness to be reciprocated. It IS, but she doesn’t feel like she can be certain of that. Era hopes he’s waiting for her to pass before truly moving on, so she can grant his wish of returning to the Star together. She wants their next lives to be a fresh start for the three together.

Hades

Elpis grew up with him and the trio sort of naturally ended up in an OT3 situation over time.

Same situation as with Hythlodaeus, but for Era she feels particularly alienated because of Hades’s initial denial of her personhood. She wants him to acknowledge who she was AND the person she’s grown to be and not consider her lacking. He’s since behaved in ways that show he’s done this, but the tiny seed of doubt remains for Era and it is painful. She is frustrated by his seeming unwillingness to stick around and talk things out, so while he acts like things have resolved between them she feels like nothing has been.

Venat

Venat is a friend, a mentor, and a parent figure to Elpis/Era. There is a great deal of trust and loyalty between them, but also a teenage-like independence streak in Elpis/Era that keeps Venat’s opinions from being gospel.

Era, while still feeling the same affection, also feels incredibly betrayed by how Venat’s actions very obviously led to the death of her past self but even more cruelly how her inaction (leaving them unsundered) led to Hades, Themis, and Lahabrea’s 12 thousand year long vigil that drove the three more or less mad. She understands why it was done, but can’t help being REALLY pissed about it all the same. She’s very upset Venat is GONE gone so they’ll never get to resolve these issues between them.

Themis

A dear friend and sibling-figure. He and Era had their initial disagreements but eventually worked it out 😂 She’s happy he’s free of his burdens now, and hopes their souls meet again as friends in the future.

Lahabrea (title used because she is not on first-name basis with him)

‘Scary older coworker’ to ‘scary crazy guy who possessed her pal and kept trying to murder her’ pipeline. She feels grief over his fate but it’s not like it realistically could have ended much differently. She hopes that being consumed by the eye didn’t destroy his soul, but she’s unsure. She wishes for him a happy and peaceful next life, but feels that it sadly may not be in the cards.

Hermes

For Elpis he was a friendly coworker who wasn’t a blast at parties. For Era he was a friend, then an enemy, and then someone to pity. She hopes his next life can be a happier one that offers his soul some measure of healing.

Meteion

Kinda same deal as Hermes, but Elpis thought Meteion was destroyed and more heard of her than knew her. Era hopes that what remains of Meteion can now experience the joys the world has to offer for a change.

Erichthonios

Elpis didn’t know him that well, more knew of him than anything. They may have met briefly and been friendly.

Era considers both him and his current incarnation to be a friend and is very glad his current incarnation gets to be the appreciated and successful super geek his past self wasn’t able to be.

How are you doing? Thank you for all the reblogging of quality Sandman content btw, it’s always such a joy to look through.

Have you heard of or read the Daevabad trilogy by S.A. Chakraborty? I have actually had time to read for pleasure and binged the whole trilogy over the last fortnight. I have many thoughts but I seem to have missed the peak of that fandom by a good year or two and it makes me so sad that that is a thing.

Can I ask a sneaky OT3 question? How do you see Hob/Grace/Morpheus spending the Christmas/New Year period? Any traditions they’d follow or activities they’d get up to?

It’s always so good to hear from you, I hope you’re been doing well and that life has been treating you nicely!

I have heard of this series and it’s been on my TBR for absolute ages, it very much sounds like my thing and something that I would really enjoy, plus I love a good thick fantasy novel. I’m going to be looking for my next up after I finish my current read, so. I did just go and put a hold on the first book through Libby (first in line, woo!). Fandom can move so fast, and I’ve definitely come in late to my own share of fandoms. The only consolation is that you get to look through all of the very cool things that people made and wrote about it!

You can always ask an OT3 question, and I have many thoughts on this one! First, there’s always an interminable faculty and staff holiday party that neither Hob nor Grace mind going to all that much, no matter what they say about it. Someday, before they have to move from the university, they do convince Morpheus to come with them as a +1, and spend the evening thoroughly confusing a number of people about the exact nature of their relationship.

I think Hob likes to do a little party close to the holidays at the Inn, where everyone is welcome to stop by, and there’s lovely mulled wine and spiced cider and lots of holiday treats. It’s meant for anyone who might not have a place to go to celebrate, because god knows Hob knows what that’s like, and he gets a bit of a kick out of playing host. Some students always end up coming by, some of his neighbors, some regulars, and Hob has a wonderful time talking with all of them. Grace is always there, but Morpheus sometimes sits this one out. Matthew, however, often ends up perched in the rafters, or strategically moving mistletoe to cause mischief.

I think they will usually visit Grace’s mother for at least part of the day on Christmas, as long as they can, and Morpheus does eventually come along. (No one’s mother has ever liked him before, this is a new and novel experience for him. She knits him a sweater. He gets emotional about it, pretends he isn’t emotional about it, and refuses to take it off all day.)

They do alternate a bit for New Years each year. Sometimes they go out (much more Hob’s thing), and sometimes they stay in (more Morpheus and often Grace’s speed as well). If they stay in, they have a lovely dinner and dessert, and plenty of champagne. I think Hob likes to do at least one New Year’s tradition for good luck each year (a different one every year, because he’s trying to see if he’s luckier one year than the next), so all three of them end up squished under the dining table, eating twelve grapes, at least once. (Most memorable, of course, is the year they try out the wearing red underwear superstition. It makes you lucky! And protects you from witches! And surprisingly, does not clash with Grace’s hair, because the matching set Morpheus helped her settle on to surprise Hob was a huge hit.)

Most of all, very cheesily, they like being together. They like the opportunity to curl up in front of a nice fire (Morpheus’s hands are always so cold, /someone/ has to warm them up), to steal each other’s sweaters (mostly Grace, unrepentant sweater thief that she is), and to slow down a bit as the year winds down.

(In other news, the chapter continues to chug along, the end is firmly in sight with 9.5k done, and as soon as I wrap it up it will be posted for all to enjoy!)

11- Are you partial to a certain character/pairing or are you more equal-opportunity? If you are partial to any character/pairing, why do you think that is?

oh absolutely pairing-wise it will always be sebmark for me… i think i am just entirely struck by the different phases of their relationship? 2009 is an entirely different vibe to 2013 who is an entirely different vibe to 2017 and that makes fic writing them sooo fun for me its never a chore to write sebmark. beyond this teammate rivalries are just absolutely compelling to me i think the dynamics and intricacies are so so interesting, especially gaining more insight on that from marks book was just eeeee i loved it (fuck u helmut marko for everything you ever do). personality wise too they both suit each other well in terms of rpf and they dynamics that i’ve always written and like writing.

character wise i love writing seb. i rlly hope i do him justice because i just love his voice and his humour and his mannerisms. he’s my love ever and i love him so any pairings with him in i am always heart eyes over.

4 - What detail in [insert fic] are you really proud of?

i’m gonna take this as any fic i’ve written so! i think anything in good men die too verse i am hugely proud of. i did a bit of research for crush about street racing (a lack of in thoroughfare which i often get annoyed about but oh well) and so i think i got the car types right. either way it sounds professional so shrug!

an unreleased fic i have a bit of detail on is my siren!seb fic, its entirely unfinished but i did some research about mythology surrounding mermaids and sirens and think it’s pretty good in that!!!

30 - Have you ever written something that was out of your comfort zone? If so, what was it, and how did it affect your approach to writing fic thereafter?

oh boy most of my ot3 fest fics (i have three fulfilled hopefully! haha 3) were quite a new experience. i won’t spoil a ton but writing threesomes is hard man. lots of limbs

ehehehe. its a another fucking sebmark au! heir to father’s business seb nearly gets assassinated and his driver mark (annoying, gets in the way, keeps making fun of him) saves his life and thus is made his bodyguard in order to protect him. he hates mark already but this really pisses seb off, a constant shadow. also it’s called bad for business yes like the sabrina carpenter song

it’s going to be my first multi chapter and i’m anxious as balls about it and i really kind of hate the tone at the minute so it needs reworking. first chap is basically done but want three written before i post anything just for my own sanity. but here’s a little snippet of them winding each other up

Why has Britta put the medicine on the top shelf, for fuck’s sake, she knows he’s not that tall. He gets on his tiptoes, but the box is pushed further back by the tips of his fingers, rather than grabbing it.

“Let me, Mr Vettel.”

And then, the lean body of Sebastian’s driver against the back of him, reaching up to the shelf with zero effort. His fingers dash against Sebastian’s, and it’s a much more successful retrieval, bringing down the box of pills to his height.

Sebastian turns, putting his back to the countertop, the bare skin under his hoodie just brushing the cool marble. He’s close enough that he can smell Webber’s cologne - sharp. Masculine. Like the rest of him, ever predictable.

Webber takes a short step back, probably assessing how abnormally close they were. He puts the box into Sebastian’s open palm. The pills shake inside upon impact. He’s pleased, but through gritted teeth, like a dog finally being allowed a treat.

“Thank you.”

“No problem.”

Okay, so admittedly, Chuuya/Atsushi link is the weakest link in my ot3 of dazai/atsushi/chuuya. I chalk it up to mostly because we don't have any canon interactions with them. WAN gives us a couple which I adore, but a lot do have dazai related which is sad. (I enjoy the time they go to the movie together and get stuck in the elevator!)

I ship it, I believe it, but if I had to point out the weakest link, it's this one.

BUT they would be so good together?! They share similar backstories (a god inside of them, experimented on, meeting dazai changed their life)

Listen I think if Chuuya met Atsushi, Chuuya would have bought him all the bowls of ochazuke he wanted.

when I started shipping it if I did: Immediately, it was just so obvious right from the start.

my thoughts: I really enjoy their dynamic and think they play off of one another well. They're basically in sync when it comes to their ideals (which is what peak performance looks like). I love that the story lets us see how much Lloyd cares about Colette and gives him a satisfying emotional journey to go hand-in-hand with the plot beats that revolve around Colette. He's not just saving her on the journey, he's also growing, and while he's working at it he influences both old and new friends, sometimes to startling degrees. The best thing about this ship is how deeply entrenched in the world they were written, and by "world" I mean the physical world and the way they occupy the minds of the people they meet and influence along the way. They both have a noticeable impact on everyone around them, and it's really so cute that it's hard to think about one of these characters without also having your mind turn to the other.

what makes me happy about them: They both just have so much room in their hearts to love, both each other and others around them.

what makes me sad about them: Colette has spent her whole life keeping a secret from Lloyd and that had to have hurt so deeply to have to do, especially feeling that the sacrifice of her life would (in the end, anyway) be for a greater good. That she wants to make a better world for Lloyd to live in is peak tragedy. I love how the game mirrors this exact type of sacrifice with Raine specifically (someone who had been willing to sacrifice Colette, even for a world that hates and shuns her) and even more directly challenges Lloyd's ideals of never wanting to sacrifice anyone. Just. THE THEMES OF SACRIFICE that surround these characters and even the people they care about is just MWAH.

things done in fanfic that annoys me: Writing Lloyd as an emotionally shallow idiot is enough to make me want to flip a table. He's emotionally intelligent and oftentimes perceptive, too. (Something something this is important with regards to his relationship with Raine.) Also, Colette being a complete airhead is a crime against humanity.

things I look for in fanfic: Honestly I love the way childhood friends to lovers is done with these characters, and prefer for an author to lean into that than shy away from it. The way they've grown together and learned together, the new experiences they've shared—the firsts. I also like seeing the really casual intimacy of their friendship morph naturally into something romantic.

who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not (just) each other: I like Sheena x Colette a lot. Also, Lloyd x Genis eventually could be cute. Or Lloyd x Colette x Genis. Or Lloyd x Colette x Sheena. I'm not usually much of an OT3 shipper or anything but the character dynamics in this game are good enough to make me consider how fun they might be! I'm sure there are others I could go for, too.

My happily ever after for them: They get rid of most of the exspheres, retire to live a quiet life near their friends & family if possible, have a couple of children if they decide they want them, and when their children are grown continue seeking out exspheres when information reaches them. Looove the idea of Colette following in Raine's footsteps as a teacher, but especially for young children (her good nature and infinite patience would be sooo perfect for it) and Lloyd maybe doing crafting to make a living otherwise.

who is the big spoon/little spoon: Like obviously Lloyd as the big spoon is cute BUT let's be honest... Colette as big spoon? Superior choice.

How I feel about this character: She's wonderful! She's not my favorite but I've always liked her well enough.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Lloyd, and Sheena is such a cute secondary option I can't not put it here. Some of the Zelos x Colette art makes me 👀 but I haven't decided how I feel about romance with them yet. Also Genis goes on this list.

My non-romantic OTP relationship for this character: Her interactions with Regal are SO good, but I have to say Raine. That OVA scene where Raine brushes her hair delighted me beyond words.

My unpopular opinion about this character: I doubt I have an unpopular opinion about her. I just think she's a really great character who spent years in this fandom being bashed and unappreciated because "lol she's dumb" or whatever was going on in 2004 that I actively avoided. In 2023 I hope we all know she's an unproblematic angel and we all stan.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I very, very badly wanted more of her relationship with Phaidra and with Frank, especially after she doesn't have to be sacrificed. There should have been multiple cutscenes for that alone. I also feel ripped off that we never got a really serious conversation between Raine and Colette; I feel like Raine would have definitely apologized 1,000 times the second it was possible, but it's largely just...ignored that she knew the whole time and told no one. (Me, grumbling and kicking rocks, guess I have to write everything myself.)

my OTP: Lloyd/Colette will always be #1. The game sure wanted it to be, too LOL. That said, almost any ship with Colette is probably wonderful.

So I'm going to preface this with the disclaimer that I know very little about the Star Wars or even Prequels fandom as a whole. My corner is very small and my experiences are limited to mostly what I see in fic, and tumblr discussions in my tiny little piece of the world. With that said, things I wish I saw more of (beyond just more obidala 'shippers in general).

Messy Obidala -- Look I love healthy couple Obidala. I really do. That soft, so good together + hot vibe they give is absolutely what attracted me to them and what attracts most shippers so its no wonder that its the version which gets written the most. But they are and can be so much more than that. They are complicated, imperfect characters who can be a little too righteous, a little too prideful or privileged. They have proven capable of compromising themselves in the worst ways for both the sake of Anakin and the Republic. And they would more than rip each other to shreds in a fight. I would love to see more writers take them to those places.

More Obidala in my Obianidala. This one feels a little unfair because there's actually quite a number of gorgeous Obianidala fics where their relationship is handled beautifully and in some cases the primary focus. But look I'm greedy. And for every one of those, I feel like there's at least three where their relationship is very much an afterthought or more just an agreement to share Anakin. And since as I mentioned before I very much like my OT3s to all be equally obsessed with each other and they’re the least established in canon … this leaves me wanting more.

Padme Appreciation/Exploration -- Tbf there may be more of this in pockets of fandom that I'm not aware of, but in general I feel like she is criminally underused and underexplored by fandom as a whole. I love how strong and kind and smart she is, but sometimes I think we in the Obidala fandom can become overly focused on those aspects of her character while glossing some of her more complicated parts, almost like we're trying to 'fix' her. By the same token, I adore the badass, sensual, dominant Padme who shows up frequently in Obianidala fic, but it can occasionally tip over into her serving as a mechanism to meet Anakin's needs or soothe Obi-Wan's insecurities without giving her own needs and vulnerabilities equal time. And I'm sorry my queen deserves to be all the things. Powerful and weak. Generous and selfish. Confident and vulnerable. She is fathomless, infinite and contains multitudes.

Note -- I have a whole host of fic recs and blogs and fandom friends which prove me wrong every day on the above, and I love them all for that, but you asked what I want more of and yeah I'm greedy. I want more of all of that.

This ones a little difficult because I curate my playlists by the fics I'm writing or in some cases the relationship or character I need to write. So 'random' is sort of an illusion the moment I go into any playlist. To counter that at least a little I dumped all my active playlists together and pressed shuffle. Here’s what came up:

This song always makes me think of grieving Obi-Wan forming a connection with Padme for that opening line alone "Yes I understand that every life must end" This song was on my on my Trap playlist for a long time in the section for the Naboo arc and was the song for just after Qui-Gon's death but I swapped it out for 'Flares' which vibes a lot better with the other songs for that arc.

Now it lives on my 'Wires' playlist where it fits with the over all vibe a little better. Wires is my Modern Post-RotS Padme Live style AU where the Jedi are cops and Padme was the ADA before everything came crashing down. It's an older, rougher, version of Padme and Obi-Wan who have a lot of history and a lot of grief and self-loathing and blame to throw around, but also completely need each other in that no one else could possibly understand kind of way. So this fits that vibe rather nicely.

1: Does anyone in your OTP/OT3 have seasonal allergies that kick up in the spring? How does the other member(s) help?

- I can’t imagine either of them having seasonal allergies, but if one did inhale too much pollen, I imagine the other would care for them as one would with a cold.

2: Where does your OTP like to go walking when the weather is warm?

-   A hiking park. The sceneries are beautiful, you’re not crowded by a lot of people, and there’s usually a good amount of breeze so it’s not sweltering.

3: How would your OTP handle it if one of them became a bee?

- Wei Wuxian would build a bee home for him with all these cool gadgets to impress Meng-Bee. Meng Yao would take the simpler route and buy a bee home for him with all the necessary items to keep him alive. They would both try to figure out how to bring the other back to normal, and if it requires going out, they will call for Yanli to help ba-bee-sit their lover.

4: Does your OTP plant flowers/tend to gardens?

- They will definitely have a lotus pond in their backyard, and a vegetable/fruit garden that Wei Wuxian tends to the most since Meng Yao has a 9-5 job, but he helps around during his day offs and listens to Wei Wuxian talk about his masterpieces passionately. They’re not big on a pretty flower garden, and their indoor plants are basic useful low maintenance ones like a snake plant. 

5: Does your OTP like the beauty and new life of spring, or the cold winter?

- Wei Wuxian prefers the Summer and Meng Yao prefers Autumn, but if you had them decide which one, they would pick the spring since they’re tropical people. They would rather deal with rain than snow. 

6: Does your OTP celebrate any holidays during the spring? How?

- They’re Chinese, and they do have a Spring Festival, though it’s more of a New Years festival that takes place late Winter. During Spring, they will definitely celebrate the Qingming Festival to pray for their parents if they’re dead in the AU. For Labor Day, depending on what jobs they have, they will stay in and become couch potatoes binging on television shows, since they’re such busy people. For the Dragon boat Festival, Wei Wuxian would definitely be participating in it, and Meng Yao would support him from the sidelines. 

-Meng Yao is also a Buddhist (of sorts), so he will be also celebrating their holidays in his own way and Wei Wuxian will be supportive.

7: What sorts of spring sports does either member of your OTP participate in?

- They’re both athletic, and swimming is the number one sport they both participate as river people. Along with water polo, rowing, fencing and volleyball.

- Separately, Meng Yao would invest in badminton and Wei Wuxian would get into lacrosse.��

8: Does the other member cheer their lover on?

- Absolutely! Meng Yao would bring out his Yunmeng dialect into that audience during his boyfriend’s lacrosse games, terrifying the shit out of those near him! Wei Wuxian would cheer him on while remaining on his best behavior, but if he hears someone speak bad about his boyfriend, he might get into a fight and get kicked out. Not without slaughtering the asshole’s ego though. 

9: If your OTP watches anime, what shows would they be looking forward to this spring season?

- They’re both Attack on Titans fans. Meng Yao’s favorite character is Erwin and cried when he died. Wei Wuxian’s favorite is Sasha and became distraught when she died. 

- A new anime that they would get into is Mashle because it kind of resonates with them, but they also love anime comedies.

10: How would your OTP react if it started to snow during spring?

- They’d investigate the cause first. Afterwards, they would go out to examine and play with the snow to experience the rare event. They’d probably travel to one of their sibling’s or friend’s place to share the moment.

11: Which member of your OTP accidentally wears an outfit too warm for the weather? Which member of your OTP accidentally wears an outfit not warm enough for the weather?

- Meng Yao for the former and Wei Wuxian for the latter.

12: What kind of flowers does your OTP give to each other?

- Meng Yao’s favorite flowers are chrysanthemums, and Wei Wuxian is careful to choose the right color. As for Wei Wuxian, lotus flowers aren’t good for a bouquet, so instead Meng Yao gifts him gladioli flowers which stand as a symbolism of one’s moral and loyal character and remembrance.

13: Which member of your OTP freaks out when they hear an ice cream truck pass by?

- Wei Wuxian a 100%! He would even go the extra step to rush to Meng Yao and convince him like a child to follow him to the ice cream truck.

14: Does your OTP care about how green their lawn is? Do they even have a lawn?

- Meng Yao cares about how green his lawn is since he cares about outside appearance, so he hires someone to take care of the front lawn.

15: If your OTP starts school in spring, where do they go to get supplies? Do they end up sharing any classes?

- Meng Yao would definitely shop around to any store for the best prices for the best quality, and would contact the professors beforehand so he has a list. Wei Wuxian would just get his from your typical store, or gives a list to Meng Yao since Meng Yao would go out of his way anyway to make sure he was ready for school as much as he was. And Wei Wuxian would thank him with other preparations for the semester. 

- And no to the classes because Wuxian would be working to get his degree in science to become a pharmaceutical scientist, and Meng Yao would be studying to get a degree in business administration.

16: Who would surprise the other with flowers?

- Meng Yao definitely has that flower theme going because of his family, but I don’t see them as the type of couple to give each other flowers as surprise gifts. Their surprise romantic gifts would be a cup of coffee. 

17: Who’s more likely to make a flower crown for the other?

- Wei Wuxian.

18: Does your OTP prefer to go outside during the spring, or do they prefer staying inside and cuddling up on a couch?

-Definitely going outside. They cuddled enough during the Winter/Raining Season, they need to go out and jog.

19: What sorts of wildlife would your OTP like to see? What kind of wildlife would they not like to see?

- They’d like to see insect wildlife since they’re the most diverse and interesting type of wildlife. They wouldn’t want to see mountain wildlife, especially on a hiking trip.

21: Which one would surprise the other by taking them to the beach before the summer crowd comes?

- Meng Yao would surprise Wei Wuxian with this, especially after a long stressful project. It would be right before sunrise. It’s cold, so they’re covered in winter jackets and pants, playing with sparklers, or those fun light up toys. They’d then have their breakfast inside the open trunk of their car while watching the sun rise, listening to alternative indie music in the background. After the sun is fully up, they do different things like building sandcastles, draw elaborate sketches in the sand, take a swim once its warm enough and more.

22: Which one’s hat would blow away in the wind and which one would go after the hat and bring it back?

- Wei Wuxian a 100%. He’d be doing parkour to get that hat!

because not everyone likes that?? because not everyone is comfortable with that?? because they simply don't want to?? because it's a panic trigger based on real life experiences?? because *insert reason that’s none of your business / not that deep / other here*??

it doesn't matter how "cutely" you phrase it or how easy peasy lemon squeezy it seems to you, multishipping for a character / including a character in certain ot3 combinations (and sometimes ot3's in general) can be a hard fucking No for some people. it can, in fact, be stressy depressy lemon zesty. it can even be negative lemon anything.

the 'why' isn't actually anyone's business, the reason shouldn’t matter anyway, as long as they aren't attacking you for your ships why do you care, and if you want certain content then make it.

Hi senpai 🤍 in what ways has writing helped you process trauma and/or navigate through your own life?

Hello there!

Gosh. Get ready for a wall of text. :')

Writing has been an extremely cathartic outlet for me over the years. Every character that I write (especially the protagonists) have a piece of me in them-- usually fears, challenges, similar experiences, etc --and working through their arcs helps me to work through them, too. I strongly empathize with characters, so it not only feels like I'm also getting through stuff, but I'm with a beloved character for the journey. That's part of why I write in the first place... not just for me, but for the readers, too. We're all going through things, and we don't have to do it alone.

The research needed to write certain situations/issues, and that degree of separation (searching for a character, not myself) makes it easier to process and accept, too.

It's a safe way to explore and learn, and find others in the same position.

But here are a handful of examples to provide a more concrete answer to your question:

When our house was broken into several years ago, I was able to stay calm and get help because of the research/writing I'd done for detective characters. I did nothing reckless and I knew what information they would be requesting, which helped to hold off the oncoming panic attack.

Speaking of panic attacks, MANY of the characters I write suffer through them, and while it's very difficult and painful to write these, going through them myself is a lot easier now because I have it in the back of my head to memorize what's happening for writing later... It's that degree of separation. LOL. I also know more/better coping methods to handle them, too, and what not to do. In NLA, we have Viktor go through it a couple of times, and it was physically PAINFUL to write. But I always felt better coming out the other side, and it seems the readers felt seen, too.

I won't get started on the writings of bad ex boyfriends, but THAT was very cathartic, too. :)

Writing also helps me to examine my biases. I grew up in a VERY!!!! conservative culture, where so much was condemned as hell-burning sin. I still struggle with the guilt of that for my own "shortcomings" and may always feel that way. But getting to know characters (original and fanfic-wise) from different walks of life, researching their backgrounds, etc... has really made me a more rounded, accepting person, and I'm so grateful for that. There's SO MUCH I need to learn about the world.

Embarrassingly, there was a time when polyamory was legitimately triggering for me because of how I was raised. Any mention of a threesome, ot3, throuple, etc. would have me running the other way. Safely exploring fiction with folks I trust has given me better perspective, both for the acceptance of polyamory (yay!) and separating it from the harmful abuse of my upbringing (ie, being told that I would be required to share my spouse in the afterlife because God said so and that if I wasn't okay with that, I had a lack of faith, etc)... since they're not at all the same thing.

I'll leave it at that, but if there's anything specific you'd like to know, please feel free to send another ask!

❤️ - What is one of your OC’s best memories?

I mentioned one memory here, but another one is a recurring situation that has begun to be depicted in her fic and will come up again and again throughout. Despite all the shit going down around them and the more personal suffering each member of the OT3 experiences, Shion is happier whenever the triad falls asleep together. They each get injured… often… and each of them have times when they stay up late to handle some urgent task, which makes the nights when they can share a room all the better. Also, Shion is afraid of being alone, so she sleeps best when her most precious people are at her side.

🍀 - What originally inspired the OC?

I gravitate toward grumpy, scowling characters, and I've told myself stories to fall asleep at night for most of my life. Back when I first got into Attack on Titan, my brain started wondering what Levi would be like if someone fell in love with him and showed that they were in love with him. I was utterly unaware of the online fandom for AoT at the time, and I couldn't see him with any canon characters at that point in the story, so I started toying with an OC, one who stuck around in the back of my mind due to how Levi's canon journey concludes. Fast-forward to a few months ago when Shion abruptly re-entered my brainspace and I desperately needed acknowledgement of aspec characters like Levi, and her current form began to take hold.

🙌 - How many siblings does your OC have?

Shion is an only child, which she views as a Very Good Thing due to her mother's gaslighting and emotional abuse behaviors. She doesn't know why she has no siblings, though she's made assumptions (her parents' increasingly antagonistic relationship may have been a factor), and she never asked her parents about the subject. (This question gave me some interesting food for thought regarding her mother, thank you!)

Sometimes I think harry's explanation on fine line(having s*x and feeling sad) suits hs1 better simply because that's all the album is about. I always think about his 2015-16 and I can't imagine it being any other way. Like I think 2015 was his worst year . First taylor left him and showed up with her bf 3 months after leaving him. Then zayn left the band and he definitely hated(atleast resented zayn for that) . He was snarky everytime zayn was brought up. I also felt like the boys also isolated him and blamed him for z.In some bts there was ot3 standing close then there was.......harry. If louis blamed harry in 2019 for breaking band we can imagine how he behaved in 15. on top there was Robin's cancer. So he had a lot to deal with and he was only 21-22. I genuinely don't think I'll be able to go through all that unscathed. So he didn't have a silver lining to look for in that stage and he used sex as a defence mechanism. Taylor left him when he had a bit more less-messy life I don't think hs1 would be this sad and maybe would've been more positive. I felt like tay left him when he desperately needed someone in his life who truly understands him as a support system. While he wrote it as a heartbreak album there is a lot of underlying issues in it. While he asks 'take the pain away' he is not just talking about Taylor. He is talking about everything in his life. I think Olivia perfectly describes how much he needed her companionship at that moment of his life.

that explanation of fine line is so inaccurate, and i think he said that to try and conceal some of its heartbreak/darkness/vulnerability, but it does the record a bit of a disservice. it's much more than that. i do agree that description is more fitting for HS1, though he does tackle some of that in a deeper way there as well.

idk that i'd characterize his response to zayn as hating him, but he definitely was upset/annoyed and played that off with snarky humor. i'd imagine it also frustrated him that zayn expressed some dismissal of the band as a whole, since harry has always openly been very proud of their music and what they achieved and created, but naturally the two of them had disparate experiences and walked away with individual feelings. i haven't necessarily picked up on the other boys blaming him (although i have seen commentary about h being blamed for the "hiatus" and some of the resentment that went along with that, whether unfounded or not), but that could be due to seeing things in hindsight rather than as they happened. (niall and harry seem quite close to me in press for mitam!)

agree that was a very difficult and tumultuous time for him, and it's easy to forget he was still SO young. there's real grief tucked away on a lot of HS1, and masking that with sex is not at all uncommon. the sorrow and feeling of not knowing how to handle everything is probably clearest in ever since new york, especially since he's said that it's about that specific loss, but shades of it and that uncertainty and hurt show up in ftdt/mmith and even two ghosts as well.

keeping in mind she was also very unwell and in an escalatingly bad place at this time, it makes additional sense as to why they never found a safe moment to land or an ability to work that out. two young, adrift people just trying to hold on and make it through various terrible storms weren't going to be able to build a lasting foundation.

While he asks 'take the pain away' he is..talking about everything in his life. definitely. fame itself is such a monster to deal with and to survive, and to be thrown headfirst into that as a teenager and try to surface and cope with early adulthood and finding your sense of self and experiencing such formative events...the trade-off of success and money or whatever for sharing your creativity and talent being that intrusive, incessant fame is nightmarish to consider. the entire concept of scrutiny on that level fills me with dread tbh. and it's been challenging and hard from the advent of popular celebrity, we've seen its destruction on so many people, sadly. it's incredible anyone survives it with their minds and hearts intact at all.
