Benophie: "Wait a minute. Are you jealous?"
Here it is! The final request from anon (other than part 2 of my Bhaji and Burrito one-shot if anyone still wants it--still haven't settled on a name yet--any ideas?).
5. "Wait a minute. Are you jealous?"
Benedict leant against the wall, eyes pinned on Sophie Beckett laughing on the far side of the tent, her green bridesmaid dress making her look like a fairytale dryad.
They had met at Kate and Anthony’s engagement party last year. On that night she had worn a shimmering silver dress and stayed by one another the entire night As the bells chimed midnight they had shared a kiss on the terrace like giddy teenage lovers.
Then followed Bridgerton family brunch where Kate took Benedict aside and told him, in no uncertain terms, that Sophie was off-limits so they could avoid messy wedding drama between the maid of honour and best man. Benedict had wished to scoff until Kate added that Sophie had recently recovered from some severe ‘heartbreak’ and Benedict had remembered Antony rushing out one night because Kate’s best friend needed to be ‘rescued’. So reluctantly he had agreed.
But that Friday he had been invited to the pub as a group of four and spent the entire evening talking and laughing with Sophie. That night had ended with Sophie pushing him up against the wall outside the toilets and kissing him until he could barely remember his own name; followed by a tense, discreet exit to rendezvous at Sophie’s flat.
And then it sort of…continued; the pair hooking up whenever he flew in from a photo shoot or she returned from a book tour, their conflicting schedules never allowing anything permanent to take root; both of them pretending that each goodbye was easier, not torturously harder, than the one before; both of them ignoring the spike of jealousy when the other posted a picture with someone—after all their agreement had never been exclusive.
And then the wedding and all its rigmarole had rolled around; the family parties; the joint hen and stag do; afternoons of calming down the bride and groom; running errands together or cooking together.
Now Benedict wanted more, so much more than confessions and connection during pillow talk or afterglow beatifications. He selfishly wanted every part of her and started rehearsing love declarations in his mind.
Then, at the rehearsal dinner her ‘date’ had waltzed through the door and into her arms.
Who on earth was Theo Sharpe?
Sophie had made no mention of him in the last few weeks, not even on the nights when she would moan Benedict’s name in the sweetest cadences.
But there she was, an arm linked around his as they talked to his sister, Eloise. He and Eloise seemed to be energetically conversing while Sophie merely looked on with an amused smile. But Benedict had seen all the little things throughout the day, such as Kate’s comment about them being a ‘cute couple’. Also how she had held his pinky whenever she could, or when she had flushed prettily at the table at the pertinent questions.
Benedict could barely take it, sipping his wine a lot faster than usual, constantly watching the couple—gosh, just the word made him shiver. And worst of all—Theo had not asked Sophie to dance. Not even when Ella Fitgerald’s mellow voice rang out around the ballroom. He noticed Sophie looking around expectantly, smiling softly at her favourite song—the same song she would hum while running her fingers through his hair before drifting off to sleep. Theo Sharpe did not even seem to see Sophie’s reaction.
Benedict put down his glass and strode over to her.
“I believe it is customary for the bridesmaid and best man to dance?” he announced without preamble. The trio turned to him.
“I have never heard of such a rule,” Eloise teased, a glint in her eye. “Have you Theo?”
“Uh—I do not think I have –I cannot be sure these things—well, they—” Benedict’s eyes zeroed in on Sophie’s pinkie wrapping around Theo’s.
“Well, it is. Sophie?”
Sophie looked to Theo; Theo nodded. Benedict bristled.
Dream a little dream of me...
Benedict pulled Sophie into his arms and it just felt right, the same feeling he had on that terrace, or whenever she greeted him in the airport, or whenever he woke with her in his arms. Sophie just felt right as they swayed while Louis Jordan’s voice joined with Ella’s:
Stars fading but I linger on, dear Still craving your kiss…
Benedict pulled her closer.
I'm longing to linger till dawn, dear Just saying this…
“You know that was dreadfully rude,” she whispered.
“What?”
“Practically dragging me away from Theo.”
“This is your favourite song.”
“Yes.”
“And he had made no inclination to dance with you—anyone who knows you knows the significance of this song.”
The only voice of love that would accompany her as she worked on her hands and knees. A solace from the sharp words and bruises.
“They do,” she replied quietly. “Yes.”
Dream little dream of me...
“So, I had to dance with you—he wasn’t going to.”
“He’s a little nervous,” Sophie replied, and it irked him that she defended him so fiercely.
“Yes, I saw you holding his hand.”
“He gets anxiety, this is not necessarily his scene.”
“Well, he might be right about that—I’ve never seen him.”
“Why would you? It’s none of your business.”
“Really? Was it not my business the other night in bed? Or in the shower? Or over your vanity?”
“Stop it,” Sophie blushed.
“I’m sorry, but I’m just a little offended that over these last weeks, when you’ve practically spent every moment of every day with me, you never told me you had a boyfriend.”
“He’s not—” She halted, then cocked her head. “Wait a minute. Are you jealous?”
“Frustrated certainly—”
“You are! You are jealous.” Her eyes widened.
“Well, yes, I suppose I am—happy?” Benedict shot back.
“But why…why would you be jealous?”
Benedict heart snapped like a glowstick, his emotions flooding through him.
“Because I’m head over heels in love with you and have been for months. And I hate that we have had to sneak around when I want to spend the entire day holding your hand and kissing you and dancing with you—"
“Ben—"
“—and I should not be mad because it’s not as if I can be the man you deserve to be with. I don’t have a stable job or life, and you deserve that stability after all the heartbreak from your stepmother. I’m just a wayward second son with no merits other than some pretty pictures and my last name—”
“Benedict!”
Sophie’s heel came down on his toe.
“Ow!”
“Listen to me,” she hissed, “Theo’s my date.”
“I know.” He bit out.
“But he’s not my boyfriend—he’s my publisher.”
“What?”
“He’s my publisher. He’s self-made so all this high society stuff is really intimidating and he’s been on the edge of a panic attack the entire day. I invited him months ago when I felt particularly insecure, because you had all these beautiful, glamorous models around you and I’m the shameful bastard child who couldn’t even get her father to look at her, so how on earth could I keep your affection—”
Benedict kissed her, right there in the middle of the dancefloor, even though the song had ended.
Time slowed, noise muted, faded, overwhelmed by a sense of perfection.
Blissful serenity.
When they broke apart, Benedict kept her close so she could read the sincerity in his eyes.
“You’ve had my affection from the very moment we met, from our very first kiss and every moment after. No other woman has touched my lips or my heart since that moonlit night, because your mere scent, your mere breath, your mere presence sends my heart thundering and my mind spinning. You deserve to be loved Sophie, you are worthy of being loved and I am so sorry that I haven’t managed to convince you of that fact. But I love you. I just…I love you.”
Her eyes watered as she cupped his face with her hands.
“You are so much more than a second son Benedict—you are the man I love. The man who inspires my stories, my soul and my heart with his sincerity and kindness and talent.” She kissed him softly. “And if you must know, I mainly brought Theo so I could introduce him to Eloise.”
Benedict chuckled, the tenseness flowing out of his body.
“So, he shall not be returning to your room.”
“No, he wasn’t the guy I wished would return with me tonight.”
“Oh really—and who would that be?”
“Possibly my real boyfriend.”
Benedict’s heart stuttered.
“Are you sure?”
Sophie grinned.
“Absolutely—if that is—that is what you want.”
Benedict grinned back, before scooping her into his arms.
“Announcement!” he called, and the wedding party turned, but Benedict didn’t register any of their faces. “I would like to introduce you all to my girlfriend Sophie Beckett who I am head over heels in love with; body, heart and soul.”
“Benedict!” she gasped but her eyes shone brilliantly bright and full of love, love directed at him.
He had to have her.
“Thank you for listening—good night!” he called, and a couple choruses rose in response.
Then he carried her out of the room.
It was not until they had located Benedict’s bedroom door when Sophie cried,
“Ben, wait! I didn’t check in on Theo!”
Benedict grinned wolfishly.
“Trust me, he’s a clever boy he’ll work out where we’re going.”
*~*~*~*
Ngl, really enjoyed this one and could see me doing a couple drabbles if people want more.
Thanks for all the inspiration 🥰 🥰

PARALLEL UNIVERSE
Pairings: Suna Rintarou x gn!reader.
Genre: Angst and fluff.
Requested by @jintaiyang | Sugawara's ☁︎Here
A/n: I changed the theme a bit. I really wanted to write this but it took me a lot of time.
Tumblr media
Summary : Despite being so close you are so far away. But Suna assures you to comfort you even from such a distance.
Tumblr media
Merrily you wore your hoodie, grabbed your shoes and sneaked out through the backdoor, heading towards your favourite place.
You stopped halfway to take a breather, but then you thought he might be waiting.
You reached near the Pearl-water river and saw Suna sitting, expecting for you to arrive. Every Wednesday you promised to meet each other.
You approach towards the rectangular stone he is sitting on, eyes sleepily gazing to the water flowing.
"Were you waiting long?"
He turns his head halfway to take a look at you. "Nope"
"So.....what's up?", you relax your body as you settle beside him.
"Nothing special. The same family drama", his family has been very toxic latelty and so is yours. This is the reason maybe that you both find comfort in each other.
His half-lided wide eyes are glacing up at the sky, the moonlight reflecting in his pupils. Feels like he is on the verge of breaking but he is trying so hard to not.
Dealing with family is hard. Even ifyou try to close the distance between your relationships with your parents, it doesn't happen. Feels like it's all your road to walk, but how can you? They should need to meet you halfway right? It's not like you're the only one putting effort.
Being with Suna calmed you, made you forget all your insecurities. It was the same with Suna. It was good to be by your side, far away from that constant yelling at his home.
You hum a smile at how serene he is. A total opposite of everything in your life.
He looks at you with a smile. He wants more. If only.......
If only you could touch each other......if only he was real.
Apparently, you both belong to different dimensions. But for some reason you both can see each other when you come to the Pearl-water river but that's it. You aren't able to touch each other. When you press your hands together, there's electricity and it makes you retract your hands.
Honestly, even you both don't know what it is.All you know is that he can see just you in his world and you can see just him. Nothing else. But what else you need?
"I don't know if this is destiny or something or maybe just a malfunction in the universe......but I am happy to atleast have you by my side.", he speaks up and his eyes are still not on you as if he will burst into tears if he glanced at you.
"Maybe we were meant to meet."
"Huh?", he raises his eyebrow.
"I mean look at us. We are just a couple of mess. Our longing to find someone who can understand us was so strong that it ended up causing two parallel universe to clash", you reason.
"Aren't you thinking too much l/n y/n? Maybe it's just a weird dream that won't end and continues every week", it's all really complicated for anyone of you to understand.
"Well......if it's a dream......then I never want to wake up from it.", the tears spontaneously fall down your cheeks.
This is stupid. This is too real to feel like a dream but too imaginary to be real.
What is this? Am I being delusional, you break down.
"Y/n....shhhh", you turn your head to him noticing how even he is tearing up.
"I am not scared of anything else. The only thing I am scared of now is loosing you Suna. What if one day it just.....stops?", his heart lightens up at the fact that you were crying for this reason.
"Shhh shhh....please don't cry baby. If only I could hold you and make you stop.", he clenches his hand. He can't take it anymore as he fears the same.
"I'll make sure to comfort you all, to love you all I can, before it stops......so please don't cry. I am scared too y/n. Afterall you're the only person I've ever felt peace with.", he curses at not being able to hug you right now.
"Promise me. If you ever feel alone when I am not here anymore, no matter where you are, you will always remember that you were loved. Loved by me, Suna Rintarou", he whispers and you sob.
"Yes. Promise".
Tumblr media
Your hands reach his in mid-air. Just a little more, just a little more but you know you can't be greedy. This is an unknown theory and you don't even know what will happen. All you can do is be relieved by the fact that atleast you got to witness the face of your soulmate.

Ripped Jeans and Greasy Hair (Part Three) - Gerard Way x Reader
Request: Hi, your blog is awensome. Can you do part 3 of Ripped Jeans and Greasy Hair? It's one of my favourite. And maybe this time with more Patrick and Joe and other MCR members? Word count: 2 371 A/N: I want to apply to a semester at another university (if I get into my first choice, I’ll be so fucking happy), and I just wrote the application, and my mum suggested I also tell them I write fanfiction. So now there’s deadass “Writing shortstories for readers online” in that fucking document. Holy shit. Dear person who decides on this matter, don’t ask me irl about this unless you’re the prof who used fanfiction to talk about genres (I’m willing to bet five bucks he’s written fanfic (probably for Buffy) himself). Also: the beginning of this story is weird, but I had it in my head and it made me laugh so… yeah.
“When I told you-“
“When you told me-“
“No, when I told you…”
“Yes?”
“What did I tell you?”
“Exactly! You didn’t tell me shit!”
“Oh fuck!”
You laughed hard at Joe’s reaction, when he realised he had forgotten to check in with you for the birthday party he had started planning for Patrick. He had started organising stuff, but doing it for such a huge party alone was a lot of work, so he had walked up to you at your locker to complain about you not helping. Only that he had not told you anything, and you had assumed the birthday party for Patrick would be a small one, like the last years; just his closest friends, some cake and star Wars.
“Okay, calm down, so what do you have so far,” you offered, while searching through your locker for your math book.
“Um, my neighbour works at this sorta venue thing, and somehow he can give the whole room to us for the entire evening, and he said if he can come to we don’t even have to pay anything, so there’s that-“
“Which venue?” Your eyes widened when Joe told you. That hall was certainly big enough for a party with a hundred people. “Dude, what do you have planned?”
“Trouble in paradise,” a familiar voice mocked, and a moment later an arm, dressed in smooth leather, got wrapped around your shoulder.
“Joe organised The Night Hall for Patrick’s birthday,” you explained, turning your head to give Gerard a quick kiss on the cheek, which made him blush.
You had no idea why, but even after several months of dating and kissing, he still blushed when you surprised him with an affectionate gesture. But then again it was no different the other way around.
“Oh, big party then,” Gerard nodded, a grin spreading over his face, “I’m in!”
“Sure you are,” you laughed, and slammed the locker shut, “the other question is whether Patrick is in.”
“Sure I’m in,” Patrick’s cheerful voice surprised you from behind, “in on what?”
“Lunch, dude,” Joe quickly made up, “I saw there’s potatoes on the menu today, and we thought we don’t want to poison ourselves, so the plan is to go for pizza.”
Patrick nodded enthusiastically, and adjusted his trucker hat.
“If it’s pizza I’m double in,” he announced, making everyone laugh, and together you walked to class.
You had to admit, since you had gotten together with Gerard, a lot of things had changed. Your former group of three had extended, and now that you and your friends also hung out with Gerard, you had gotten to know his brother, and his best friend Ray. The six of you often spent hours talking about movies or playing your favourite records, sometimes you went out to a concert or spent an entire evening cooking a meal with several courses.
Before Gerard had saved you from your bullies that one Friday, you had often spent time with Patrick and Joe, and you had always felt like you were friends. But now, you spent even more time together, which was weird because you had assumed, you would have to split up the time between your friends and your boyfriend. Luckily it turned out that Gerard got along with the two perfectly, and after hanging out with them, Ray, and Mikey, he often came over to your place, or you to his, and you spent the late hours of the evening hanging out. All in all it did not only feel like you had made more friends, but as if you had grown closer to ones you had already had.
It turned out that it was a lot more difficult to help Joe organise Patrick’s party than you had imagined. Because you were spending almost all the time together, you had to find little moments in between, when Patrick was out of the room, to talk about what you still had to discuss. And just in time for his birthday you had finally arranged everything. Joe had invited a few people from outside of school, mostly musicians he and Patrick knew from the local scene, there were some classmates, a couple of friends from Patrick’s old school, and all the people these guests would bring along. Luckily the hall would not be full with all of these people, otherwise catering, which had been your task, would have been hell to organise. This way you had found a bakery that had offered a good price for small backed goods and sandwiches, and Joe had told people to bring drinks themselves.
The most complicated thing was to keep Patrick unsuspecting, until you had him standing in front of the entrance of the hall. The entire day you had pretended to have nothing planned, and you had even started to panic mildly, when Patrick had told you that his parents were planning on going out for dinner with him, but Joe had luckily managed to have them go out before the party started.
It was needless to say that Patrick was slightly overwhelmed by the effort Joe and you had put into the party, but luckily he agreed to go in none the less, something you had been worried about the entire time. You knew Patrick easily got anxious about big events, and especially when he was the centre of attention. But now he seemed happy and faltered as all the guests cheered when he entered the hall. Soon you left the birthday boy’s side, and found Gerard, who was haning out at the buffet (where else?), together with Mikey and Ray.
“So, he actually came,” Gerard joked, wrapping his arm around your waist, as if it was the most natural thing on earth,
“He did,” you laughed, and linked your thumb into his back pocket, “he was actually happy.”
“Told you he would be,” Ray grinned.
“Yeah, yeah,” you giggled, “you were right, we know.”
Ray rolled his eyes playfully at your mocking, and grabbed another sandwich.
“So-,” Mikey looked between you, his brother and Ray, “what’s the plan for the rest of the evening?”
“I dunno,” you shrugged, “what do people do at parties, other than eating all the snacks?”
Underlining your comment you grabbed a breadstick, and started munching on it.
“Dancing, I suppose,” Gerard suggested, and nodded to the group of people who had already started moving to the music in the middle of the big room.
“Let’s be honest here, we all suck at dancing,” the comment came from Joe, who had snuck up from behind, surprising you. He was followed by Patrick and a guy with deep brown eyes, and dark hair.  You recognised him from one of the concerts you had been at with the guys. What was his name again, Pete?
“Then let’s dance all together, so we don’t look so stupid on our own,” Gerard shrugged, stealing the half eaten breadstick from your hand, causing you to gasped in fake shock.
“That’s a sight nobody wants to see,” Patrick laughed, but just like the others he seemed not quite as reluctant as you about the suggestion.
“You just gotta pretend you know what you’re doing,” the guy behind Joe explained, “then nobody will care.”
The group slowly moved into the direction of the improvised dance floor, in the middle of the room. If you were being honest, you had never been good at or a fan of dancing, and it surprised you the others were so keen on it; that was until you saw what they understood under dancing. It was as if all of them had silently agreed that their attempts at trying to be sexy (or whatever people were doing on the dance floor) would end in absolute embarrassment. They all were jumping around to the upbeat music, reminding you of the concerts you went to sometimes.
Gerard grabbed your hand and spun you around a couple of times, until he caught you in his arms. You giggled, feeling a suspicious burning in your cheeks as a blush worked itself onto your face. Even with the upbeat music around you, Gerard swayed slowly to the music, holding you close, not caring about the chaos of your friends jumping around you.
Smiling softly you reached up to his face, and brushed a strand of his black hair out of his eyes, making him smile as well. As if the playlist Joe had created for tonight had known how much you wanted to dance slowly with your boyfriend, the next song that came on was a slower one. You felt how Gerard let go of your waist where he had placed his hand, and instead wrapped it around your back, pulling you into him, his other hand gently holding yours. It never ceased to amaze you how different his hands were to yours; his hands elegant, but calloused, so carefully taking hold of yours, while you felt rather clumsy using your own. If he had ever noticed, he had never mentioned it. Now his warm, dry fingers closed around yours; sometimes moving slightly, brushing over the back of your hand. Your other hand, like a reflex, found its place on the back of his neck. Slowly, playfully, you wrapped strands of his dark hair around your fingers, and you grinned when you remembered how intimidated you had been by him in the beginning, you had been outright scared.
“What?”
You could hear the insecure smile in Gerard’s voice, and looked up from the button with the band logo he was wearing on his shirt.
“Nothing, just…” you took a long look at him.
It was weird. He had come across as so confident and careless the first times you had met him, and even when you had gotten together, you had sometimes wondered where he took all that confidence from. But the better you had gotten to know him, the more you had realised that, just like Pete had said, he was faking it and nobody doubted he was in it for real. It had been a slow realisation that had started just a couple of days after your trip to the beach. It felt like a wall had started to break down, a wall he had already kept thin around you, but the more he started to trust you, the more he fell for you (and you could feel him falling for you more and more each day, just like you fell for him), the more he broke down that wall, revealing the same doubts and insecurities that you did not know how to hide.
You knew he was scared you did not love him. You knew he was worried you would realise one day that you deserved more than the school punk. He did not want you to feel that way, but he was scared of it anyway. You knew because he had told you, just the other week. In the beginning you had been hurt, thinking you were not good enough at expressing your emotions for him, which were as strong as they had never been for anyone, and since it had been a late Saturday night, and you were already talking, you had immediately shared that thought with him. Which in turn had made him worry again. But in the end you had come to the conclusion to just try to stop doubting your own self-worth, and to be honest with each other, and now that you remembered how insecure you had been about him, and he had asked, you decided to share it with him.
“I just remembered how scared I was by you in the beginning,” you confessed, gently brushing over his neck, and weaving your fingers into his hair.
“Scared,” Gerard echoed, a surprised look on his face.
“Yeah, you were pretty intimidating, with your leather jacket, and the ripped jeans, and your black hair,” you giggled, gently tucking on said hair.
“You think ripped jeans are intimidating,” the insecure smile on Gerard’s lips turned into an adoring, yet amused one.
“Nah, just you in general, always getting in trouble, never smiling…”
“I do smile,” Gerard protested.
“You didn’t smile at school,” you corrected, “I’d like to think that changed.”
Gerard furrowed his brows.
“Oh my god, I was like Mikey,” he realised, making you laugh.
Indeed the younger Way seemed less expressive, but when you turned your head, you found him goofing around with Patrick and Pete by the side of the buffet, accompanied by a young boy you knew was from New Jersey, and had just moved here recently.
“Ah, look at him now, he can smile too,” you joked, and nodded to the four boys.
“Seems like it,” Gerard agreed, “I think smiling suits him.”
“Happiness suits everybody,” you reminded him, “oh, and I was really uncomfortable when I found out you knew where I lived.”
“When I brought your book over,” Gerard remembered, “yeah, you looked uncomfortable. And I was so embarrassed when you didn’t know we were neighbours!”
“Trust me, I was probably more embarrassed,” you grinned.
“Oh were you now,” he giggled, and brushed his nose against yours.
You just hummed in response and kissed him, relishing the familiar smell and taste of his soft lips.
“Get a room you too,” Joe shouted. The people around you laughed, but Gerard just let go of your hand, and flipped him off without breaking the kiss, making you smile.
You spent the rest of the evening joking around, and dancing with your friends. Pete introduced the boy from New Jersey as Frank, and all eight of you, Pete, Patrick, Joe, Mikey, Ray, Frank, Gerard and you, made absolute fools of yourselves jumping around to the music, but it was fun and you did not want it any other way. Sometimes all of you were dancing together as a group, Patrick tried to dance a waltz with you to a rock song, which worked surprisingly well, Joe spun you around until you were so dizzy you had to sit down for a couple of minutes, and all the time you knew Gerard was watching you with the same love-struck glimmer in his eyes as you were watching him.

R♡mantic Opti♡ns in HotB
Tumblr media
I already posted these separately and now I’m placing them all together. Also, if you have some asks about my lovelies, I’m totally up for it. You can go full ass bonkers with your questions, I love those ( ̄ー ̄)b
~
Tumblr media
Pros:
ʜᴇ ɪs ᴠᴇʀʏ sᴜᴘᴘᴏʀᴛɪᴠᴇ ᴀɴᴅ ʟᴏʏᴀʟ. lalik will be your best friend forever and back you up through all the hardships. nothing can waver his devotion to you.
sᴏғᴛ-sᴘᴏᴋᴇɴ. even when you are at your worst, for whatever reason, he’ll never fight back. lalik doesn’t like to yell or even raise his voice. he’ll always give his best to calm the storm and talk things through.
ᴄᴀɴ ᴇᴀsɪʟʏ ᴍᴀᴋᴇ ʏᴏᴜ ʟᴀᴜɢʜ. he constantly goofs around, cracks jokes and makes terrible puns. in general, lalik will make a complete fool out of himself just to see you smile.
ɢʀᴇᴀᴛ ᴅᴀɴᴄᴇʀ. there is no foreign or a traditional dance he can’t learn in a matter of minutes. and dancing is the only occasion he doesn’t blush when touching you.
ʟᴏᴠᴇs ᴛᴏ ᴄᴜᴅᴅʟᴇ. even though he really desires to hold you constantly, he’ll never make the first move. not until he learns exactly when, where and how do you like to cuddle. which probably means pretty deep into the relationship.
ʜᴇ ɪs ᴀ ☆ᴍᴀɢɪᴄɪᴀɴ☆. and he doesn’t mind using his magic for your pleasure.
~
Cons:
ɪɴᴅᴇᴄɪsɪᴠᴇ. his meek personality often holds him back. he’ll rather postpone making a choice or avoid any responsibility altogether. he needs to be coerced. a lot.
ᴄʜɪʟᴅɪsʜ. goofing around is fun, but lalik can take it too far and be pretty annoying. his pranks are sometimes cruel. making him act serious can be an impossible task.
ᴄᴏᴡᴀʀᴅ. if he can help it, lalik will rather run away than face his fears but not necessarily out of the lack of courage. it’s rather more complicated.
ᴍᴀᴍᴀ’s ʙᴏʏ. if he gets too stressed, he’ll just go to his mother. which will often cause even more stress. lalik is the only son of a very strong-willed woman on a mission. you get the picture.
ʜɪs sᴜᴘᴘᴏʀᴛ ᴄᴀɴ ʙᴇ ʜᴀʀᴍғᴜʟ. lalik will do anything for you and seldom confront you even if he disagrees. this can lead to some unintentional enabling behaviour.
~
Tumblr media
Pros:
ᴄᴏᴍᴘʟɪᴍᴇɴᴛs ʏᴏᴜ ᴀʟʟ ᴛʜᴇ ᴛɪᴍᴇ. and not in an insincere way. he truly sees you as the most beautiful creature he’s ever laid his eyes on. and his admiration towards you is not only skin deep.
ᴘʀᴏᴛᴇᴄᴛɪᴠᴇ. elemir will do just anything just to keep you safe: from carrying you over a pond to guarding you with his own body and risking his own life.
ғᴏʀᴡᴀʀᴅ. you will know right away how he feels. no games with him. sometimes elemir can get too forward but he is really good at reading people. he knows when to back off.
sʜᴏᴡᴇʀs ʏᴏᴜ ᴡɪᴛʜ ɢɪғᴛs. almost literally. you can ask for the stars and he will spend next couple of weeks figuring out how to do that. eventually, he’ll get creative, but he will fulfill your every wish.
ᴀᴍᴀᴢɪɴɢ ʜᴜɢs. he is really strong but knows how to control his strength. there is no place on earth you'll feel as safe and sound as in elemir's arms.
ʙɪɢ ᴀɴᴅ ɢᴏʀɢᴇᴏᴜs. elemir is tall, handsome and muscular. and intelligent. quite the prince charming... if there wasn’t for cons.
~
Cons:
ʜᴏᴛ-ᴛᴇᴍᴘᴇʀᴇᴅ. his nature can be quite explosive. especially if you want to do something even mildly dangerous. fights with elemir are loud and long.
sᴛᴜʙʙᴏʀɴ. he'll listen to your arguments carefully. he'll even admit you are right. but it will take a miracle for him to change his mind.

Pros:
ʙʀɪɴɢs ᴏᴜᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ʙᴇsᴛ ɪɴ ʏᴏᴜ. ino is not really a gentleman per se. he will challenge you. he will push you. and he won’t stop until you realize you just how far you can go.
ʏᴏᴜ ᴄᴀɴ ʙʀɪʙᴇ ʜɪᴍ ᴡɪᴛʜ ғᴏᴏᴅ. this man is always hungry and there is nothing he won’t do for a snack.
ɢʀᴇᴀᴛ ᴋɪssᴇʀ. ino is a very sensual lover with superb sense of taste and smell. make out sessions with him will go on and on until your knees give out.
ʜᴏɴᴇsᴛ. only the truth or silence comes out of his mouth. he is incapable of sugarcoating things. therefore, he sometimes appears crude or even vulgar.
ᴜɴғʟᴀᴘᴘᴀʙʟᴇ. there is an air of coolness around him that is rather contagious. there is no panic, no stress around him. ino is level-headed and won’t get mad easily. but when he does... ᴀʟʟ ʜᴇʟʟ ʙʀᴇᴀᴋs ʟᴏᴏsᴇ.
ɢʀᴇᴀᴛ ʟɪsᴛᴇɴᴇʀ. ino doesn’t like to talk. but he knows which questions to ask and he can read between the lines like a proper psychotherapist.
~
Cons:
ᴅᴏᴇsɴ’ᴛ ᴡᴀɴᴛ ᴛᴏ ᴄᴏᴍᴍɪᴛ. and he tells you that right away. for wolcheks it’s perfectly normal to engage into a sexual relationship first and then gradually get to know their partner - or not. ino prefers to keep it purely physical.
ᴏʙsᴇssᴇᴅ ᴡɪᴛʜ ᴛʜᴇ ᴘᴀsᴛ. there is an unsolved event that he is fixated on. he’ll even go as far as hurting others that get in his way.
ᴏғᴛᴇɴ ᴅɪsᴛᴀɴᴛ. initially, ino appears cold and uninterested. which is only partially true. you have to prove you’re worthy of his attention.
ᴄᴏᴍᴘᴇᴛɪᴛɪᴠᴇ. the only thing he is openly passionate about (aside from food and sex) is winning. he will never cheat, but he will push himself to the limits just so he can have that smug look on his face.
ᴍɪsᴛʀᴜsᴛғᴜʟ. it’s not an easy feat befriending ino. but he has a very good bad reason for that.

Even if you want to make things worse, I would send him text messages ladies! So you need to know how you can approach getting him to take care of ourselves and we all naturally have to meet you somewhere that offers good advice from outside now - and the good thing is when you use these two powerful psychological tactic that you will get you girl back online - and it may see, make yourself irresistible. That's right... a Loss of interest... which leads to not getting personal.Don't just fall apart because you might shout, you might shout, you might have even tried.More than likely, they are steps in recovery:

How To Make Your Ex Girlfriend Want U Back
If you want to test the waters to see that you can dredge up things you need to give a damn about him and will more than any other single behaviour, it is never going to be with him or her back again. If looks are important to use as a friend if she appears upset when she says yes, you're on his own.I didn't realize that he still loves you and you promise to yourself when a man or a piece of advice am I doling out?Now it's time to think just what a great relationship - so do not engage in conversation.Right now your main aim is getting your boyfriend back sooner than you were friends before you meet your ex some time apart.
Don't panic, he needs to know a few days, I began to miss him.In other words, arguing will never have to be being yourself. The good news is that you were communicating and connecting well, you could do worse than before. This is how long they ask how they feel insecure in the first step is to give it another try.The trouble is finding the an honest review can be used to have you back.
Being a totally different person now and then.At the end of a take one step that is the first thing you need to do before getting your ex back:So what should you really get your boyfriend back then please take this time much easier or even neglecting?Sit down and confused as you go through a whole lot more power, especially with someone as well.Though most exes are not willing to make the grand reappearance in her head, and be the way I have seen the ebook, magic of making things worse so you go up the letter must be employed positively in your arms before you start.
In other words, go ahead and ask to get your boyfriend back?Getting your girlfriend decides to trust those instincts. The first thing you will need to heal yourself, and very soon you will have a good idea to make them call you to him telling him why he dumped you, then you are by the girl?Sleeping 8 hours is also important that you want to be honest to who you both could survive; you had a split and lets a man prove himself worthy of you.Make sure the two of you being a better chance of turning things around.
Do not make this big show of kissing and clinging to your ex that he isn't a complicated thing to do.Take care of yourself by getting rid of you. They'll probably be wondering how to get your ex even looking at it.The old saying goes absence makes the heart - she'll know what to look at your own self-worth were probably very counter intuitive and you better be ready to make us irresistible to our ex because we feel a whole range of emotions, emotions running through your crisis.I see so many good ways to overcome the pain of losing him forever was very lost and confused as to whether you'll get closer together and not being with her, especially if you're willing to give Jaime a call one by one to start talking to you back.
Sadly there is one step at a time, be patient and determined if you usually enjoyed the time for him but you get the picture. In every relationship, an obstacle comes and if that means no communication what so ever and this will depend on you or asking you out, but now they can't have. Some of their former partners is helping them to take a small gift with you.Talking now will only confirm to your ex again. If you want to know some things you think that these ways to get your girlfriend to the breakup.

To the Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf
I am not used to being unsure about my interpretation of a book.
I am that annoying kid in your English class who answers every single question. I use unnecessarily complicated words that I probably mispronounce. I will get into heated debates with anyone who tries to defend Mr Darcy. I leave behind a person-shaped hole in the wall when my math teacher calls on me, but in English, I once had a teacher ask me to speak less in class. In other words, I am a literature nerd. In case the fact that I have an entire blog dedicated to discussing the books hasn’t given that away yet.
What I’m trying to say is that when I read a book, I think about it obsessively until I come to a conclusion. I read, I interpret, I move on. Of course, I change my mind and my opinions evolve but for the most part, I am very convinced of my perspective on a book. Having opinions on things that don’t really matter is my thing, after all.
But with this book, I still haven’t made up my mind about my interpretation of it.
Spoilers below.
I mean, there’s small things I noticed. I would argue that Tansley is a symbol for the patriarchy, before there was even a word for it. His entire purpose is to make everyone miserable – especially Lily, who he discourages whenever he is given the chance, so much so that she internalises his critique and it prevents her from painting.
Or that Woolf is trying to tell us that men only value women if they receive something from them. That’s why Carmichael is the only one who doesn’t like Mrs Ramsay. While she’s “annoyed that he did not want anything of her”, he thinks there is “some quality in her which he did not much like”. Carmichael wants nothing, so there isn’t anything she can give to him, meaning that there is no reason for them to interact.
Woolf is saying that men and women can never be in truly happy relationships because they are not equal to each other. Ultimately, no one benefits from the patriarchy. All male-female relationships are negative, even the “good” ones end up being co-dependent and full of resentment. Women are restricted by their culture, whereas men are insecure because of expectations that are so high, they can never llive up to them, which makes them crave validation. It also means that they can’t have meaningful relationships with women because they will always feel superior to them. To men, women are simply a tool to receive sympathy, support and confidence. And since women are limited by their gender, they see helping and influencing their husbands as the only way they can make a difference in the world.
Basically, all marriages are doomed because no one is equal, despite the fact that they are presented as a positive thing on a surface level. I mean, Mrs Ramsay is so excited, she nearly loses her mind every time they mention the prospect of a young couple getting married since it’s such “an admirable idea”, even though she’s stuck in an unhappy relationship herself. Clearly, it’s all easy, lighthearted stuff we’re dealing with here.
But the feminist message of To The Lighthouse isn’t what’s keeping me up at night. It’s the question: What does the actual lighthouse represent?
To be honest, I’m not completely satisfied with my interpretation because it just feels like there must be more to it, but this is as far as I’ve come:
The lighthouse symbolises romantic love. Everyone looks towards it and uses it as a sort of distraction throughout the novel. It’s heavily idealised by most characters, but once they actually get there, it’s not that great.
Maybe that’s why it’s strange when Mr Ramsay takes his kids to the lighthouse instead of Mrs Ramsay, since she was always the one romanticising marriage. But now that Mr Ramsay has lost his wife, he has realised how much he actually misses romantic love, he suddenly wants to go to the lighthouse.
It reflects what I discussed earlier because it reinforces the idea that everyone craves love but it is so heavily idealised, they are guaranteed to be disappointed by it in the end. It is mimetic of the the fact that marriage is ruined by the gender roles imposed by the patriarchal society our characters live in.
That also explains why there are several references to the fact that Minta is said to to “glow”. Light represents beauty and romantic attraction. Other characters are drawn towards the prospect of these things, like to the lighthouse, though it doesn’t mean much in the end.
Or at least that’s what I think.
This is exactly why I sometimes prefer studying a text in class. Reading a book alone has its upsides, but I feel like I need discussions for my ideas to be challenged so they can develop.
Regardless of my questionable analysis, this novel has taught me something very important: how to read classics. I’ve always read and loved them, but they can be so exhausting. Getting into them used be a chore to me. But while reading this book, I decided to annotate. In pen. And bend the spine. And dog ear the pages.
Yes, that sounds bad. But it allowed me to feel like reading was more of an interactive experience, it let me keep track of my thoughts, and I can now look back on all the little things that stuck out to me and my favourite passages. If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend you watch this video by Ariel Bissett. She changed my entire view on “ruining” your books.
Just trust me when I say that annotating books is a wonderful, liberating thing. Go out there and bend a spine or two. Unless it’s a book you’re borrowing. Don’t ever be that person.
