I don't know if anyone else has said this but

Is it just me or does Lucifer give off "dad from a RoFan/Otome Isekai whose bad communication skills led to irreparable damage in his relationship with his daughter in a first timeline". Honestly Lucifer and Charlie really give me otome isekai/rofan manga/manhwa/manhua father-daughter pair vibes. Like they might not look like it conventionally (mostly in terms of height ig) but they really do feel like they'd fit right in with their love for each other but also non-existent communication skills AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE MISCOMMUNICATION.

Something something reality can be whatever you want it to be—anyways Otome Isekai AU Charlie & Lucifer. I think it'd be neat to just plonk them in this kind of scenario. Like time-travel do-over on either end, reincarnation (wmmap style so it's the "of soul"), parallel universe shenanigans, gaining consciousness in a shitty novel/game turned real world where you and your dad are both in danger of plot bc ur both final bosses. Hell even the "finding ur kid after your wife left" scenario and then going forward from there scenario.

(I blame my younger self for getting into wmmap for thinking of this)

Late to the party, but I finally finished the ref for my TF2 oc, The Prospector! A small, scrungly, bushy dwarf man who usually is on the defense with his motion-activated mines and shotgun!

Ramblings and close-ups below! ⚙️

💡The Prospector is my 10th class TF2 oc, specializing in defensive game modes (Capture the Intel/Point). You’ll usually find him hanging around Engineer the most, as Prospector’s motion-activated mines are perfect to snag cloaked Spies! His melee ranges from his trusty pickaxe to the iconic frying pan, and for his 3rd weapon slot, a short-ranged weapon of some sort!

🕯️The Prospector’s full name is “Benedito ‘Bento’ Ribeiro”, and he originates from Ouro Preto, Brazil; a town with a mining history! He is a 45 latino man at the grand ol’ height of 5”4’ (and is teased endlessly by the other mercs about his height) :,]

⛏️On the battlefield, Prospector is a competitive bastard, thrilled in the high of battle and running on pure adrenaline. His smaller height also serves as an advantage despite the other’s teasing, as you’ll usually see him skittering across the map and is often overlooked >:]

Prospector doesn’t talk as much as most mercs, but will have snarky remarks for Domination lines or light insults. Other than that, you’ll usually hear him mutter insults or swears under his breath in his native language, Portuguese.

🪕Off the battlefield, Prospector is more mellow, quiet most of the times and only talks if he really has something to say. He’ll always try to appear gruff and indifferent, but he’s really an emotional bastard; easily flustered and has a soft spot for certain things (and people), such as his plants!

Prospector has a big soft spot for plants, ranging anywhere from succulents to plants from his home country (like the Walking Iris!). He’ll slowly collect all sorts of flora as a hobby, and if he’s not tending to his plants, he’ll practice music on his harmonica, or indulge in his other hobby; Lapidary!

Being a lapidarist, Prospector collects gemstones of all kinds, either from his own mining adventures or just as a collector, and will turn the gemstones into pieces of art. He has a small collection so far, creations ranging from animals to objects! Usually, a way Prospector shows his way of appreciating (or that he likes you as a mutual/friend) is leaving a hand-shaped gemstone of some kind of design in your living space!

Prompt #19: "Radiant Happiness”

R’ouros had always been rather good at seeing the light within people’s hearts. No matter how hard they tried to hide it, no matter how far down it was buried, no matter how close it was to being snuffed out or how tainted with darkness it was. He could see it. He could always see it, even when no one else could.

And it was always the ones who didn’t believe in their own light that he was drawn to the most.

He always went out of his way to reach for those people. To take them by their hand and show them the way out of the darkness so that their light could shine brightly again. Sometimes it was as simple as a compliment or a smile, other times, he would have to go above and beyond to make them realize the light inside them hadn’t disappeared, that the clouds and storms that surrounded them daily could and would pass with time and care. Whatever darkness he faced, he would take them all in stride and wear the brightest smile he could muster.

“There is enough darkness in the world.” He would always say. “I’m not going to add to it, I’m going to chase it away instead.”

An ambitious and impossible dream, he knew. He couldn’t save everyone, he’d been told that a hundred times and more. But that didn’t mean he wasn’t going to try. He knew far too well what it was like to be at the very bottom of that dark, emotional well. He knew how hard it was to climb out of it. He knew how much it hurt to be alone.

He never wanted anyone to feel like he did.

So when he met Khamri’a, like a moth to a flame, he was immediately drawn to the small snippets of light that would shimmer through the barriers upon barriers that surrounded his heart. His light in particular was extremely bright. Blindingly so. He tried to pretend it wasn’t there; wore a mask and promptly ignored that warmth that radiated from him so naturally. But R’ouros wasn’t fooled, no matter how many masks he would pile on or how many lies he would weave, he would see through all of them.

He wanted to pull that light up to the surface, to break down those walls of caution and fear and reach for the soft kindness and happiness underneath. If he could make Khamri’a genuinely smile, laugh or even just encourage him to be kind to himself, then it was a victory. Making his heart feel a little less heavy was the least he could do, especially after all Khamri’a had done for him already. He had offered him a home, company, food to eat…

Khamri’a deserved to be happy for all the good he had done, for R’ouros and all the strangers he’d helped in the past. He deserved to reach the point of being so happy that he wouldn’t be able to contain it or hide it anymore. And R’ouros was going to make sure that he achieved that happiness no matter what.

Laying back on the roof of the Windsong Manor, legs dangling free off the side, R’ouros stared up at the bright blue sky with a wide smile, his imagination going wild with the shapes of the clouds that hung above him. It was only when he heard the sound of the front door shutting below did he come back to reality, and he swung himself up into a sitting position to look down at the ground below.

And there he saw the familiar form of Khamri’a walking out into the yard, off on another secret mission, no doubt.

“Khamri’a!” R’ouros called out, waving his hand high in the air. Khamri’a stopped to look up at him. “Be safe and have a good time!”

Khamri’a gave a nod in response and went on his way. R’ouros watched as he gradually and slowly disappeared from view, his smile still ever present on his face. He’d wait for him to come back, just like he always did, and have some sort of surprise waiting for him. Be it an awful joke, a new book, a painting he finished or eight million stories about all the things he did and saw while Khamri’a was gone.

Whatever it took to get that infectious, warm light to shine through those walls, whatever it took to make him feel genuine happiness, he would do it. He would do it a thousand times until that light could no longer hide.

Free Space/Ramble: - The design I use for Anakin is @nibeul's redesign! - Anakin, now that he's situated in a creche group, is now the middle child who can and will get away with everything. Not that he isn't noticed, but most people don't bother stopping him! - Anakin is stupidly afraid of spiders and Will call the Temple Guard at ass o'clock in the morning to come kill it. - He runs hotter than a furnace, which was hilarious considering his master is Chiss. - Anakin is twice as strong in the Force as Grandmaster Yoda. The only thing that stopped him from curbstomping Yoda was Master Mizza'lat'ano asking him very nicely not to.

Ouro kronii had a wisdom tooth removed and while still blitzed from the general anesthesia did a Twitter space thing where she just rambled on for an hour. And still was ouro kronii it's impressive.

Okay so...hmmm.... Oh! Okay, let's talk about corrupted guides and by extension corrupted magical girls.

So corrupted guides are guides under control of Ouro right? The thing about them is that they're in a bit of a dream state as they are, but they can be woken up so to speak by breaking their tie to Ouro. How this is done is probably some light magic bullshit, and while in some cases it might change the guides color palette, some guides really are just kinda dark and spooky looking.

Corrupted magical girls can be formed in a couple different ways:

A) A Human makes a contract with an already corrupted guide, this type of contract is usually based on some sort of mutual respect and the human counterpart has a lot of control. They're still working for Ouro, but at least they're not like- a mind controlled zombie.

B) A Human makes a contract with a regular guide, and the guide then gets corrupted. In this situation, the relationship can become rather hostile, especially if the human was actively fighting for the Dawn, they would probably be opposed to turning their allegiance to Dusk. They might be fine with it however, which leads to the situation in option A)

C) Sometimes a magical girl's guide hasn't been corrupted, but the magical girl is fighting for the Dusk anyhow. This is usually because of outside influences. For instance, the human's friend or even sister may be fighting on a different side. In this case the Guide is likely under some kind of pressure to work for a side they don't want to, just to keep their contract. And all they can really do at that point is close the contract or just keep serving their human.

D) The most heart breaking situation. This form of corruption comes when a Guide takes over the body of their human counterpart. Usually the only guides who do this are ones from the dusk side as combining with a contracted human makes them stronger, but this could happen in a contract with a dawn aligned guide that's in situation C, either way, the Guide usually sees it as their only option. In this situation, the guide will seize complete control after a fusion with their human and on rare occasions even swap bodies with them. This is usually quite distressing for the human counterpart regardless of their allegiance, and as you can imagine it sours the bonds between contractees.

I'm...not sure if any of that made sense but, I hope you get the gist of it.
