The race hadn’t gone to plan. Starting P3 and running a solid P2, only for a stop/go penalty to send him tumbling down the order to P14, had been a punch to the gut. Ending in P10 felt hollow—like a cruel consolation prize. Lando’s frustration was more than evident; he barely spoke a word after stepping out of the McLaren garage. Amelie, understanding his mood, had kept quiet, giving him space during the ride back to their hotel.

As the car pulled up to the entrance, Lando sighed heavily and dragged himself out. Amelie followed closely, her hand lightly brushing his back in silent reassurance. He didn’t react, lost in his thoughts, but he didn’t move away either.

Lando walked into the hotel lobby without a word, his eyes fixed on the ground as he headed toward the elevator. Amelie, sensing the weight of his disappointment, stayed a step behind, watching him carefully. She knew how much this race meant to him and how much harder it hit when things didn’t go as planned. It was something she had come to understand over the months they had been together, ever since that fateful night in November when they’d first started dating.

Lando’s lips barely moved as he shook his head, a quiet —No— escaping him, his eyes still staring forward.

—Alright, I’ll be quick. Just… try not to be too hard on yourself, okay?— she added, offering him a small, comforting smile. Lando didn’t respond, but she saw the way his shoulders relaxed slightly, just the tiniest bit. That was enough.

As the elevator doors closed, Amelie turned and walked to the hotel restaurant. She placed the order, knowing exactly what Lando would need—something hearty and comforting to remind him that not every race was a win.

Once the food was ordered and she had made her way back to the room, Amelie took a deep breath. She could feel the weight of the day pressing against her too, but she wasn’t about to let Lando retreat into his frustration alone. He needed her, even if he didn’t always ask for it.

She opened the door softly, hearing the distant click-clack of the keyboard and the low murmur of a voice. She stepped into the room and found Lando slouched in the chair, headset on, fully immersed in his game. Max Fewtrell’s voice came through the speakers, streaming the game they were playing together. Lando didn’t even look up when she entered, completely focused.

Amelie smiled to herself, walking over to him and gently placing a hand on his shoulder, leaning down so her face was just inches from his.

—You’re really getting into it, huh?— she teased, her voice light and playful.

Lando shifted slightly, his eyes never leaving the screen. —Max is gonna get me killed if he doesn’t stop running off on his own,— he muttered, frustration laced in his voice, though this time it was about the game. She couldn’t help but chuckle, her fingers brushing lightly over his shoulder.

—Yeah, yeah, blame Max,— she teased, but her tone softened as she leaned in even closer.

Lando gave a distracted laugh, his eyes still fixed on the screen as Max’s character in Escape from Tarkov sprinted into what seemed like a certain death.

—Don’t you think maybe you should take a break?— Amelie’s voice was low, soothing, with just a hint of concern.

Lando's fingers paused over the keyboard for a moment, but then he sighed, his body slumping in his chair. —I don’t know, Ames. It’s not like anything’s gonna make me feel better right now, you know?— His words hung in the air, heavy with the weight of the race.

—Please?— she repeated, her voice almost a whisper. The simple question held everything. She wanted to help him forget, even if just for a moment. Lando hesitated for a second before slowly removing the headset, his expression a little softer now.

He gave her a tired smile. —Alright, Ames. But only because you look like you’ve got something planned.—

Her lips curled into a mischievous grin. —Oh, I do.—

She led him into the bathroom, the soft scent of lavender and eucalyptus filling the air. The tub was already half-filled with warm water, a few candles flickering in the corners, casting soft light on the tiles. Amelie had clearly planned this for a while. She looked over her shoulder, her eyes glinting with a mix of affection and mischief.

—Come on, get in,— she said, tugging at the hem of his hoodie.

Lando raised an eyebrow, but there was a glint in his eye too. —If I get in, you’re joining me, right?— he teased, his voice dropping to a low murmur.

Amelie grinned, leaning up to kiss him softly on the cheek, her fingers lightly grazing his jaw. —You know I would, Lan, but...— she hesitated, her eyes twinkling with playful intrigue. —You’ve got to convince me. You haven’t exactly been the most charming today. I might need a little more convincing...—

Ok pony posting part 2 begins.

For Aigis I’m just going to keep her name the same as it’s iconic, anyways in public with the help of a dress she is able to pass as a normal unicorn decently well, at least appearance-wise anyways, however as story progresses she is able to grow into being her own person eventually rather than simply following her given tasks.

Precocious Penchant aka Ken, anyways for his name precocious is a kid who has more advanced abilities or is more mature than typical for his age which is how he tries to appear throughout the game thus also the name penchant which is having the tendency to do whatever thing it’s paired along with.

Solitary Chef aka Shinjiro, his name here is pretty self explanatory I think, anyways enjoy his little enjoy little design detail of having Castor constellation on his beanie to match with the half on Akihiko pony’s vest.

Amorous Appriser aka Ryoji, he gets to keep his little title for his name + Amorous which is like super flirty which I think fits his character. Anyways he and Shinji are my favorite p3 characters<3 (I can rant about their characters in this au forever however I want to keep these massive pony posts shorter so rip)

I’m actually super proud of the avatar’s design drawing draconequus is my favorite, anyways it’s hard to convey on canvas but yeah they are larger than normal ponies by a significant margin.

The Carte Blanche and their signature scents

Peter Ransom: Bad Boy - Carolina Herrera

my Nureyev kinnie gf wears this and I feel like that’s enough evidence but regardless, Juno’s description of Peter smelling like « earth and spice » in What Lies Beyond p3 is further proof. it’s a pretty woody and amber based perfume making it really warm and spicy but the top and mid notes of pepper, sage, and cedar balance it out to create that earthy spicy smell. he definitely matches his perfumes to his bath products so even if he isn’t wearing a scent, he still smells good, hence why even when the cologne wore off, his bed still smelled nice. (also the name is really iconic afsjshxhd)

Juno Steel: Black Saffron - Byredo

with warm spicy, leathery mid notes, this is something that gives me very noir detective vibes but then there are the top notes of saffron, juniper berries and chinese grapefruit which shift the narrative a little and turn it from an entirely brooding scent to one that is more light. it’s a really androgynous perfume in that it ties together the more traditionally masculine smelling woody leather with the more traditionally feminine violets and spiced citrus smell. the base note of cashmeran gives it a softer and sweeter dry down but the vetiver pulls through with that earthy leather smell, perfectly encapsulating our dear detective in a single bottle. he would also would wear Whispers in the Library but that’s just me projecting

Buddy Aurinko: Jazz Club - Replica

this fragrance is super boozy which already fits Buddy so well but on top of that, there are the tobacco and vanilla base notes that give it a very sweet but smoky scent. the styrax gives it that floral smell with some dry, spicy bite bringing in that powerful feminine energy (we stan), the other notes are more citrusy and spicy and are really prominent at the top but the dry down is what really makes this perfume, it’s intoxicating, heady, and bold, just perfect for Mrs. Aurinko.

Vespa Ilkay: Wood Sage and Sea Salt - Jo Malone

Vespa doesn’t really seem like the type to wear perfumes all that much but at some point Buddy drags her to a fragrance shop her and Buddy went shopping and Vespa found this scent (it’s also the perfume she wore on their wedding day). it’s a very aromatic scent with lots of notes of citrus and salty fresh air, it also has some musky herbal notes which fit her vibes pretty well. while it’s not exactly something you would expect her to wear at first, the dichotomy between the bright scent and her abrasive nature and the likeness between the rugged mineral musk and her projected persona makes this a fun choice.

Rita [Redacted]: Cloud - Ariana Grande

It’s sweet and playful which is already a scent I feel like rita would love but it also has notes of coconut, praline and vanilla that really add some complexity to the scent, while most of the notes are sugary and lactonic, the top notes of lavender, pear and bergamot create a nice balance with them. she is happy go lucky and sweeter than sugar but she is also a character with layers and is more than just a superficial persona which this perfume does a good job of encompassing. I also feel like she switches between this perfume and A Whiff of Waffle Cone from Salt and Straw sometimes depending on how sweet she wants to go.

Jet Siquliak: Old Spice Dynasty Deodorant but sometimes Duel - Annick Goutal

l i s t e n I can’t imagine the big guy caring much for fragrances when the only thing it’ll add is an extra step to his morning routine so (according to him), it would be much more efficient to just wear a deodorant that has a very distinct smell, hence Old Spice Dynasty, a very woody and leathery scent meant to replicate modern masculine colognes. Occasionally he’ll wear Duel but not very often, it’s similar to Dynasty with the woody, spicy and leathery notes but is also a bit more fresh with orris root, petitgrain and artemisia.

The Ruby 7: Molecule 01 - Escentric Molecules

this funky little perfume deals with some pretty futuristic stuff in terms of its scent profile, it is made of one note and one note only, a molecule called Iso E. It’s a velvety sensual cedarwood but varies greatly depending on the person (or car) who is wearing it, the scent wears close to the skin and has a distinctive smell depending on how it reacts to your body chemistry, some will adore the fragrance on them, some may not even be able to smell it while others will find the scent downright offensive, this perfectly encapsulates the radical nature of the Ruby and there really isn’t a better fitting perfume.

I could talk for hours about all the different fragrances everyone in the penumbra pod wears and I’ll probably be making a separate post just on all of the signature scents of Nureyev’s aliases lol
