I redesigned my profile picture in code (I'm using P5.js), mostly so I could have some more control over it and make more (and different) animations with it. But it also allowed me to make it higher quality.
I'm going to make some more soon, hopefully, but here's my basic "Idle" animation and a trans one.

Might even try to make it react to things live so I can rig it up to be a sort of vtuber thing :p. We'll see.
It's the closest thing I have to a robotsona, and feels very gender to me, so I definitely want to make it do more. Next up are probably angry and blushing because I have a good idea of how to make those.

Finally downloading a game engine was the best decision I've ever made, it feels SO GOOD to be obsessively thinking about a game idea and be like "oh this mechanic would be so cool" and then ACTUALLY BEING ABLE TO MAKE THAT MECHANIC and then PLAY with that mechanic! Being able to not just think about it, but actually try it out and see how it feels! I'm a fucking GAME DESIGNER!!!

Check-in #7
My last update was a little dramatic, but I still have not forgiven myself nor Unity for what happened to my almost finished game. As of right now, My project is in shattered piles of code as I try to rewrite my game into another coding language, java script vs. C#. Java script is much easier for me in the aspect of understanding what I am writing, but also difficult because all of the code I had already written was already serving it purpose. I can't help but mourn what once was as I try to re-code moving and the camera following the player in P5.js. The website editor was not actually intended to create games, rather NFTs, but it seems to be serving my purpose so far.
Lines upon lines of code, all neatly labeled and categorized. Having them all on one file rather than compartmentalized helps me. It made my professor grimace when he saw it during my other class today but he gave me a lot of useful feedback that will hopefully fix some of the issues that I had been running into. Every time I see the player character model I wince though because in Unity it was possible to have an animated character but I haven't been able to find a tutorial that works in P5.js that can replicate the same effect.
Below is a screenshot of what I see when I log into the project!>>
