Philippine Air Force F-5A ready to get in the air!

With all the talk about the Philippines either getting the JAS-39 C/D or the F-16 Block 70, I think its time to look back at the Philippine Air Force's first supersonic fighter jet, the F-5 Freedom Fighter.

First acquired in 1965, the F-5A/Bs would be the main fighter aircraft of the PAF for decades to come. Alongside the USAF based at Clark Air Base, PAF F-5s would intercept Russian and Chinese aircraft that violated Philippine airspace.

The PAF's F-5A/Bs would also serve as close air support for Philippine ground forces engaging various insurgents groups in the country.

The F-5A/Bs would eventually be retired from service in 2005 without a proper replacement. Some of its parts, mainly its combat systems, would be transfered to S-211 trainers in order to convert them to the AS-211 "Warrior" variants, which would serve as the country's main fighter aircraft until the arrival of the FA-50 in 2015.

Here is Ziemniak (He/They), a sweet potato goblin and the protagonist of Gloire & Pot-Au-Feu !

As an assassin he ends up having to... go see the countryside for a little bit and ends up arriving in Marmiton at the beginning of the game~

Assassin de métier, il se retrouve à devoir.... Aller se mettre au vert pour un temps et arrive dans la ville de Marmiton au début du jeu !

In anticipation for Art fight (The_Paffening) I spent four days drawing a brand new ref sheet for my boy Blue! There's also a scar ref for the human disguise, but I worry Tumblr will shoot me for it so that's just available on art fight

Well, to be quite frank about it, I’m always on the basic drives side, because I just think that’s the side that’s being neglected […] and it’s the side that I want to get some responses on that are far more satisfactory than any I’m yet receiving. As I said, the recent context that has been organising this […] has been these whole friendly AI people. And people there just say ‘Okay there are these basic AI drives’ - there these Omohundro drives, but of course, that’s not enough. You know, it just worries me, in an irresponsible conceptual level that people are trying to bring in a lot of stuff on what seems to me very flaky ethically […]. They say, like, ‘I’m just not confident that an AI whose ethical substructure is based upon maximising its own intelligence is gonna something that I’m going to be happy to have around’. That’s basically the line.

And I do think that that is strictly analogous to the construction of our political [..] arguments as well. It’s a sense from people that we just simply cannot trust that some entity, some institution, that is trying to optimise it’s own performance, is something that is doing what we want it to do.

I got to exhibit some costumes last week-end ! I even did my very first conference (in the artistic field, I mean, I've done physics presentations before). I was also happy to make an appearance in the local journal.

These newer (and by newer I mean over ten years-old) renders of familiar Gadget imagery are making me go feral, look at them!!!

These were definitely for the lost 2011 iphone/ipad port for Past as Future, because the Slowslop image was shown in the release trailer as part of a new video. The iPad version in particular was said to have a bonus HD movie of some sort, so these images might have been a part of that and/or part of possibly redone existing cutscenes from the game, and if so, these screenshots shown on the website for Haruhiko Shono's CG effects company WILL, Ltd. might be all that's publicly available of the newer stuff.
