Songs for Dracula Characters

During Dracula Daily, I decided to assign some songs to the characters that could be included in a playlist. The songs are compiled here, and there are four (4) songs for each main character, except Van Helping and Renfield as I only gave them two (2) songs each. The song assignments are based on the vibes of the song itself or the lyrics featured and relate to the characters themselves and/or their situations in the story. My choices also reflect my own musical preferences, so if there's a particular song that you think would fit that isn't on here that is likely why.

That was her femme fatale p/orn review article, which i’m gonna have to dig up, because i remember a double page spread of her talking about lots of different types or p/orn but i only remember her saying she actively liked the artsy clown stuff.

But she did once upon a time announce that she likes watching h/entai on twitter, which while not nearly as bad as what was said in the article, was worse b/c it was on twitter and not an adult magazine.

your new research assignment:

instances in which emily prentiss is queer coded and a timeline that indicates where you think that the writers and/or abandoned the storyline. add as much nuance as you'd like! we are going to pretend that we don't know that lesbian emily was scrapped before paget's entrance on the show.

and a side quest could be a timeline of ways paget incorporated herself into the character because i personally believe that by the end of the series there was so much paget in emily that she wasn't aging as emily but as a paget-emily hybrid

Okay, first of all, sorry this took me so long to answer. I really struggled with this assignment because I think Emily was queer-coded throughout the entire first half of the series. The writers wanted her to be a lesbian, and I think after CBS shut that down, they said a giant fuck you and did it anyway. She wasn't seen with a man and there was NO REASON for them to dress her the way they did.

For example, we often saw Emily like this:

But then, later during the London arc, we see them dressing her in hideous clothing differently.

I think the writers said, "You're getting a boyfriend. Stop acting so gay."

In conclusion, I think Emily Prentiss was meant to be gay and was gay until the writers became cowards. Think of all we lost out on 😔✋🏽

edited to add: I'm mad the only time we see Emily in bed is with a m*n and also, who's really buying that Emily fucking Prentiss sleeps in a teddy like that?? 🙄 But I can't be too mad because she looks soooo good in it
