sometimes i'll slap down some rough colours on a drawing and then i will enter a shading fugue state like haha yesss scribbly lines go brrr. then i'll snap out of it and zoom out and be like well that looks worse, actually.

kinda random but do you have any tips for drawing folds in clothes? because the way you draw clothes especially baggy trousers is just so delicious to me

hmmmmm i mean i’m no professional here or anything but my big 2 bits of advice are: use references & don’t be afraid to have harsh contrasts

i find that folds tend to look nicer when there’s a harsher color shift to make them stand out more + actually looking at the type of clothes you’re trying to draw while drawing them is very helpful because it shows you where the folds naturally exist and then it’s just a matter of replicating/stylizing from there :)) sometimes i’ll take pics of my own clothes if i wanna see how something should look to be able to better represent it in a drawing lol

Lightbulb and Nickel are married in my nickbulb stuff but I don't think they'd have a normal wedding. I think they'd just have a barbecue in the hotel's backyard or something. The only one who is dressed fancy is Baxter who has a little bow-tie on.
