I started listening to Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco when I was 11 and I just... never stopped

imagine if you (a neurodivergent) joined a band and then tried to keep it going and made mistakes along the way but generally stayed positive and created a safe space for a ton of people and helped create and perform amazing music and kept with it through breakups and splits and of course you weren’t by any means perfect but then you got older and finally produced another album but it wasn’t what your “fans” were expecting, even though you were really just pursuing a passion and writing songs and you don’t owe anything to the world, but these people still absolutely slandered it to the point that you gave up because that’s what these people who once upon a time adored you now wanted. imagine how broken you would feel

genuinely i appreciate dallon weekes so much. dude wanted to learn guitar but wasn't allowed to get one until his midlate teens, then promptly switched to bass instead. went off and started the brobecks even though his family didn't want him to go into music, and ended up enjoying decent success on the utah scene. met his future wife over myspace, then actually met her for real on very short notice when he needed a place for the brobecks to crash for the night in la after a show. fell in love with said wife over the course of that night and has written multiple songs about it since. showed up to audition for panic! at the disco without knowing how to play any of their songs. came back a little later and got the gig anyway. wrote some of patd's best music after ryan ross. during that time wrote more than one song supporting his wife's bi/pansexuality. stayed tethered to patd for most of the 2010s, then decided 'fuck this' in his mid-30s and left to start a band for shits and giggles that denied its existence for a wholeass year. said band has since grown into a kickass indie pop act and dallon has incredible stage presence, with a voice and range better than brendon urie's in the present day and very gender-envy worthy energy to boot. what an icon

The fifth of the Rainbow Brothers. Inquisitive, curious, with a touch of mad scientist for fun, Blueberry wants to know everything about everything. Why does music magically play around us when we sing? How were the strings truly made? And what happens if he took some fuzz from a Wooferbug and mixed it with hydrogen peroxide?

Blueberry works as a potion maker/alchemist in Trollstopia. From healing tonics to little prank potions, Blueberry loves to push the boundaries of magic and science. Unfortunately, when one pushes the boundaries of the universe, they often don't have much self preservation. Blueberry has blown himself up on SEVERAL occasions.

Blueberry doesn't sing much, as he mostly spends time in his lab, but when he does, he's as Pop as a Pop Troll can get. He does blast music in his lab while he's working, to the chagrin of his quieter siblings.

Despite the mad scientist in him, Blueberry is very friendly and cares deeply for his friends and family. He does his best to make time for social events, and enjoys going to loud, crowded parties.

Fun Facts!

- Blueberry only attempted to make a love potion once. He found the recipe in an old scrapbook and traveled all over the world gathering the obscure ingredients. What he failed to read was the warning at the bottom saying it had never succeeded, and wound up blowing off part of his ear. He wasn't allowed back in his lab for months after that

- Blueberry is currently dating a Puppet named Cosmo, who works on Vacay Island. He met him while visiting Bruce and his family, and was immediately smitten over his performances. The two love partying together when they visit one another

- Blueberry LOVES geology. Rocks, gems, minerals, the whole shabang. If he's not in his lab or out with friends, he's down in a mine digging up rocks. He has a very extensive rock collection

- Blueberry uses lots of plants and small insects in his potions, much to the distress of Lime and Strawberry. He often has to sneak around them when bringing home ingredients, cause they'll try to stop him from "killing them" ("the plant died the moment I picked it and these bugs only live for like a day caLM DOWN-")

And that's Blueberry! He didn't go through too many design changes. He was originally a jeweler, making jewelry and such, but I wanted one of the Broppy kids to be a mad scientist lol.

But I kept his love for rocks, he just collects them now

Actually am having a hard time thinking of emo musicians with any staying power that arent LGBT... The Big 3 (MCR, FOB, PATD) all have lead singers and songwriters who have openly spoken about experimenting with sexuality. Apparently Pete Wentz has gone on to say he's "basically straight," but lets not pretend saying youre bisexual in the year 2007 was easy. (shoutouts to tumblr user petewentzisbisexual for choosing that url specifically to make sure people dont forget, cuz i nearly forgot) Brendon Urie...said he's pansexual, good for him, i really hate the guy already so i'll leave it at that. Gerard Way, yes, is nonbinary. IDK how revered Green Day is in the current emo scene but Billie Joe Armstrong has been talking about being bisexual since the 90s!!! Literally the only "emo" musician i can think of who hasnt spoken on their gender or sexuality is Amy Lee. And i would have a vested interest in knowing that.

Okay so basically, he changed the meaning of Girls/Girls/Boys, it was originally written abt Dallon’s wife, Breezys, pansexuality, and Brendon made it abt his first threesome. There was also situation where one of Panic! Body guards had sexually assaulted Breezy and Brendon didn’t fire him. There was also this whole thing where Brendon has allegedly sexually assaulted teenagers but I’m pretty sure that was proven false. He also once said at a show that he was gonna fuck everyone there, even if they didn’t want it. It was an 18+ show but rape ain’t cool. He’s also like, said some racist, transphobic, ableist, and transphobic crap.

It will forever anger me that Dallon Weekes wrote girls/girls/boys about his bisexual wife and then Brendon Urie went on to claim that he wrote it and said that its about his "first threesome" and women he calls "bar-sexuals." Genuinely disgusting shit and why Urie coming out as pansexual does not erase his dismissal of bisexual women. Girls/girls/boys should be dedicated to Breezy Weekes, especially for the harassment she went through while Dallon was a member of the band from Brendon himself.

Sophia Flowers-(fc is Melanie Laurent) if anyone is looking for an intelligent, quiet midwife/healer who is rather good with a shortsword/dagger, this OFC is for you. To fit the HOTD verse, she's from the Reach.

Acelin Hill -(fc is Alexander Vhalos) A baseborn son, born in the Westerlands but has since relocated to the Reach in order to attend the Citadel. He has a great aptitude for languages and old texts.

Kara Sand -(fc is a younger Rachel Weisz) a daughter of one of the Martells, she's lived a life of luxury in Dorne with the expectation of her repaying her noble father for his generosity by posing as many different things: spy, assassin, courtesan. Anything that will enable her to gather intel to send home.

Mael Stormwaters -(fc is Brendon Urie) a baseborn son from a Kingslander mother and a Baratheon father. His father sends an allowance to his mother for his upkeep (and her silence). They operate a family business- Mael goes to the docks to haggle with the sea captains returning with cloth and gems, his mother and he both fashion the cloth into jewel-embroidered clothing and items for the nobility. He's sarcastic, witty, fashionable and may appear to be flighty of personality, but don't be fooled by the pretty face and flashy clothes.

I want to give the OCs as much room to operate in the 'verse, so more specifics will appear in each interaction. All threads/interactions are considered separate and individual unless specified otherwise. All OCs are bi or pansexual except Acelin, who is strictly gay.

My knowledge of the 'verse is from HOTD (TV) , GoT (TV) and what I remember of the GoT book series. I totally expect to make mistakes - gentle correction is appreciated but rudeness is never tolerated. See the rules on my blog before interacting.

Lmaooo that's so funny. That's such a treasured memory bc it was my whole family in a cabin at Yellowstone and she just announced to my whole family "Brendon Urie comes out as pansexual??" and we lost it bc we knew she only understood 1/3 of that sentence.

Brendon Urie has the vibes of someone that calls themselves pansexual because of a fundamental misunderstanding of bisexuality instead of having an understanding of the complexity of all mspec labels and finding pan fits him best

(For anyone that needs an explanation: putting trans people in a category separate from men and women implies that they aren’t their gender, but a different category [for binary trans people at least]. Separating trans people out in the context of your pansexuality also sort of implies that you think only pan people can like trans people. While this isn’t always the case, and it may just be transphobia, a lot of the times, this is a result of biphobic misconceptions of how bi only means two genders)
