a/n: dad!sae and husband!sae in one post? more likely than you think. timmy being down bad for sae for the nth time, what's new? i didnt know where this story was heading while i was writing it halfway but the idea is dad!sae and husband!sae. also this is cute i love this work i will cry over this for months.

“sometimes, i’m pretty sure you’re only with me out of pity. how dare you? my love for you is sincere–”

“what are you babbling about now?” sae let out an exasperated sigh. you two are lounging in the living room. him, watching a soccer game of the rivaling team they’re going up against next week, and you, laying down on the couch with your feet on his lap, just blankly staring at the ceiling.

“…like i would even lay down in front of a moving train for you. or! i would, without a doubt, drink a poison that’s specifically for you. if you ever get in a coma, i would stab myself, juliet style, absolutely no hesitation. you don’t understand the lengths i would go through for you–”

“oh my god,” sae drags his palm down his face quite dramatically. “is this because i forgot to say ‘i love you’ this morning?”

“see? this is exactly my point. do you even like me?” you nudge his side with a sock clad foot.

he grabs a hold of your ankle and settled in back on his lap. “we’ve been married for five years. our son is literally five meters away playing with his sister.” sae replied with a pointed glare, visibly done with your antics. someone give him a break, he’s experiencing this exact predicament for the past seven years. he’s annoyed, yes, but it’s one of the reason he’s highly and deeply infatuated– in love with you.

you were about to retaliate but rushed footsteps and a sudden weight on your chest prevented you. “mommy!” speak of the little devil and he shall appear. kio, your 4-year-old son. behind him is kiho, your 1-year-old daughter, crawling as hard as she can trying to reach her older brother. immediately, you sat up on the sofa, pulling kio to your lap. “what– baby, are you crying? what’s going on?” you coo as you wipe the tears off his chubby cheeks.

“kiho bit me! we were just playing and then she suddenly–” while you were occupied with kio, sae abandoned his spot from the couch and opted to slide down to the floor instead. his eyes were focused on the adorable infant who is now crawling towards her beloved father. as soon as she’s only a foot away from him, sae scooped her up in his arms and retreated back to your side on the settee, “you bit your brother, kiho?” to which the infant just babbled incoherent with a wide grin.

sae smiles back at her before furrowing his brows. and it seems like you had the same thought as him when you looked at him with a confused frown.

“bit you?” you asked kio.

“yes, she did! it hurts! i think her bite left a mark!” he showed you his left forearm and there you see. the mark of a small baby tooth.

“she’s teething!” you exclaimed happily after kissing your son’s forearm. (“kisses make the pain go away.” you once told him when he tripped and scraped his knee at the park.) sae gently lift up kiho’s lips to peek at her gums, and ta-da! a cute tooth peeking back at him.

“she’s growing up too fast.” sae hummed, kissing kiho’s head, making her giggle.

“mommy, why did she bite me?” kio patted your cheek to get your attention back on him. “did i do something wrong? i thought she was having fun when we were playing together.” your heart felt stabbed, squeezed and stepped on ten times as kio looks at you with tears in his eyes.

“she was just showing affection, ki. she must’ve felt overjoyed with you but she didn’t know how to express it. she is a baby after all.”

“did i bite when i was a baby, too?”

“oh, absolutely. you bit your dad mostly.” you laughed at the memory of sae wincing in pain as his son decided to sink his growing teeth onto his father’s shoulder as he carried him.

“now. kiho, baby. say sorry to your brother.” sae held her in the middle of you two like a cat, his hands supporting his torso under her arms. however, instead of a garbled apology, kiho blew a raspberry to kio.

“hey, that wasn’t nice,” the little boy frowned.

“mom, don’t laugh– dad, stop laughing, too!” kiho followed the two of you and let out a gleeful squeal. all the while kio rubs the saliva off his face with your shirt.

“kio!” sae laughs even harder. kiho, too.

THIS IS A FANTASY DRAMA BECAUSE THERE ARE NO MEN LIKE HIM

i used to think of this as a fantasy drama because of the whole premise of "girl gets lost on a deserted island and stays there for 15 years and then is found and becomes a singer" but now I see this is a fantasy drama because of Kiho. NO WAY, there's just no way a man on this earth will ever be as loyal, as devoted, as dedicated as this one. I just didn't see it coming. Even after she made him smile at the lowest point in his life, gave him a little bit of light in his bleak existence and discovered she suffered in the same way he did but that was it. That's all it took. He made it his life mission that she would never ever suffer that way again and told her to run away with him. And she did.

and still, after all, he lets her know the doors to his home and his family are always open for her. Damn, I'm not okay...

also, I just know his love for her is beyond anything rational because -and i am no expert- but I do know deposits for apartments are crazy in Korea and what do you mean this man got her a house as soon as she got off that island?? WHAT THE FUCK JUNG KIHO?? HE'S JUST NOT REAL!! HE'S A UNICORN.

Once upon a time, when i was watching another Chae JongHyeop drama, Love all Play, I said I would start measuring kdrama male leads from 1 to Park Taejun (his character's name) cause he became my standard. but Chae JongHyeop outdid him in this drama. He dethroned himself. Now the scale is from 1 to Jung Kiho. That's a pretty high bar.

I have to confess, I was a bit confused about MokHa's motivations to leave the family. I know she was lying when KiHo found her with her bags all packed and she said she was always this selfish and wouldn't risk a scandal getting in the way of her dreams, so she was ditching the family and KiHo. No way. I don't think RaJoo's words convinced her in that way. But I do think she decided to give her all to a dream that helped her get through the abuse of her father. One that probably got her through those 15 years in that island. So she owes it to herself to be selfish now and work for her lifelong dream. She earned it. And I'm sure she will return to KiHo's family, who also became hers.

Wow. I really enjoyed the first two episodes of Castaway Diva. The teen actors were fantastic setting up the heartbreaking backstory! I was 100% sold. Park Eun Bin shines as a fish out of water. Bringing joy to everyday circumstances and big moments as well as showing grief in her desire to find meaning in her stunted life.

As for the brothers, Woohak is giving total little brother vibes to Bogeol's annoyed responsible big brother vibes. Even though he's supposedly older, Woohak seems like a shadow to Bogeol: wearing matching clothes, working in the same field at the same company, wanting to be like him but also rebel when he feels like it. He's got that carefree baby of the family vibe. Whereas Bogeol seems like he's caring the weight of the world, helping with his family and diligent in his work but not letting himself stand out too much.

This makes sense if Bogeol is really Kiho because he would feel responsible for Mokha being lost at sea. It's interesting that Bogeol only sees a random girl hugging Woohak on the beach from a distance; then it cuts to all of them on the boat ride back. We never saw Bogeol's face when he finally saw her up close and introduced herself as Mokha. This is a huge omission. Bogeol is the one who regularly volunteers for trash cleaning on random deserted islands and knows how many of them exist in Korea. We see that Mokha is eating kimbap on the boat ride off the island. This is the exact meal that Kiho gave Mokha when they were waiting for the ferry ride. Did Bogoel give her the kimbap? While Bogeol cautiously keeps his distance from Mokha, he immediately buys her new shoes when they get off the boat. This hails back to the shoes Kiho gave Mokha when they ran away.

I think the guilt that he (Kiho/Bogeol) failed Mokha is what is making him keep his distance. Along with the fear of his father, not just for himself but for everyone he cares for if his identity is ever revealed that is keeping him from getting close to Mokha. However, Bogeol is also the one to suggest they use Ranjoo as their next variety show subject. It's like he just can't help himself. Deep down he desperately wants to be by Mokha's side.

As for Woohak's memory loss, it was the perfect cover to switch the brothers ages and give Kiho the new name of Bogeol. It wouldn't surprise me if the mother had already changed her name. Given the amount of memories that Kiho had of his mother before she ran away and the relative closeness of the brothers ages, they may not be related by blood. It is also possible that Kiho's dad found their new family and abused Woohak to the point that he was so badly beaten it caused the permanent memory loss. I wouldn't be surprised if their new family is under witness protection so Kiho's dad can't find them again. Man, that's dark.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to Mokha breaking down Bogeol's walls just like she did the first time around and helping Woohak when he discovers why he has memory loss. While the brothers support Mokha as she finally begins her journey to achieve her dreams.

First conceptualized by The Lucky One’s Jung Jisoo in 2020, gathering trainees to form a group with a “global’ look, the group soon to be titled SLASH performed in their first showcase in late 2021. The first rendition of the lineup consisted of Chinese Neverland contestant Zheng Hui, company nepo-baby Na Sebastian, the ever ambitious Sasha Flores, and dazzling Thai trainee Lalita Suwannathat. Marketed as Lucky’s little siblings, their unique concept and captivating performance generated excitement for the group.

The buzz only continued to grow as cryptic posters began appearing around Seoul, featuring QR codes directing curious viewers to an almost empty website only showing largely blacked out and blurred profiles of each member and a link to an Instagram account, @ bloodyvalentine, which infrequently posted behind the scenes film photos of the trainees with no captions but their names in a hashtag.

The building anticipation only made Jung Jisoo more ambitious, adding trainees Spencer Shu-Bellamy, Shin Doa, and Freddie Ahn (now known as BAM!’s Kiho) to the lineup to make it a 7-piece group. Teasers and posters only increased in frequency leading up to October 2022, when they were originally set to debut according to Prismatic’s leaked plans for the quarter. 

However, 1 week before their set debut date, Lalita suffered a debilitating ACL injury in practice. Rather than allow the group to debut without her, the debut was delayed altogether. Many argue that Lalita received special treatment from Jisoo and the group’s management, and was intended to be the star of the group.

The group lay in limbo from that point on, waiting for Lalita to fully recover from her injury and a new debut date to be set. Within this time Sasha appeared on HYBE’s Dream Academy, barely being edged out of the final debut group while Hui appeared on Boys Planet 999 placing 8th and becoming an official member of ZEROBASEONE, exiting the trainee group to make his debut.

Suddenly a 6-piece unit, a new debut date was finally set for January of 2024, nearly 2 years after their original debut date, before the sudden acquisition of BAM! and other Sixth Sense Media trainees. In the quick and unexpected turnaround for the group’s debut, SLASH once again suffered the loss of a member and the postponement of their debut date. However, beginning to face pressure from both the members of the trainee group and their families, the company sent the group to America to continue training in a new environment and act as a distraction as they attempt to gather their resources. Two trainees were added to fill out the lineup; longtime trainee, Neverland contestant, and budding producer Chase Park, and Hwang Taebin newly acquired from Sixth Sense.

The 7 trainees lived in a beach-side condo in Los Angeles as they continued their training in renowned dance academies and vocal studios. The Instagram was still posting the trainees lives behind the scenes, although just as cryptic as ever. A new teaser video was posted to once again generate buzz surrounding the group and satiate the members and those backing them. However, one member would not return from America. The bloodyvalentine account inexplicably stopped posting photos of Lalita after her face took up a majority of the account’s feed previously. 

Many believed that she simply left the unpredictable group setting to pursue her own ambitions, but an unknown source within Prismatic Entertainment leaked information regarding the alleged true nature of her disappearance to a forum of SLASH fans who have been around since the very beginning. According to this source, Lalita left a note in the group’s condo one night stating that she was tired of the purgatory of trainee life and ran away to experience freedom traveling across America. She has not been heard from since. The source also noted that her family planned to take legal action against Prismatic citing negligence. 

Despite this, SLASH seems to finally be getting the debut that has been dangled in front of them for years, set to debut once again in late August 2024. After such turmoil and so many unanswered questions, SLASH’s future still remains shrouded in mystery. Will they be able to make it passed all of the struggles that may weigh them down?

BOYS ALMIGHTY, better known by the acronym BAM!, is a 5 member fictional boy group under rainbow entertainment. the group consists of sammy, bo, taeyoung, kiho, and kitae.

bam! originally debuted as a 6-member group under sixth sense media in 2020 with the song boy. they didn't receive much widespread recognition in their first three years, being labeled a nugu until their contracts were suddenly bought by rainbow. only three members of the original lineup, sammy, bo, and kitae would sign under rainbow during the transition with two rainbow trainees being added to fill out the group. they are set to redebut in february, 2024.

Castaway Diva Episode 9!!!

"I was sad. Poor him. He lived such a sad life."

It really is sad. Being one of the bigger person when you're the younger one. It's sad understanding things instead of being angry with it. But Mokha, you are so strong. You still have this hopeful kid even after being a castaway for 15 years.

This drama warms my heart so much because the backstory of how these two young people met and how they survived through life is something so painful yet so pure. All they wanted is one peaceful day.

Mokha, probably, is the most beautiful thing captured by Kiho's camera. To think that he probably owns one just to capture evidences. She means so much to him. She shone hope to little Kiho in his dark world. And eventually loved her more after knowing her situation but still dreams of a better life. She gave him hope that everything has a future and a chance.

The abuse eventually becoming the root of this successful producer. I just feel Mokha took part on this dream. Kiho probably wanted to show great things to the world. Like how he wanted to show Mokha to the world so much he sacrificed his body for Mokha's escape. He waited for 15 long years and searched for her in every island without even knowing if she's alive. All because of the love and hope he has. That Mokha planted on them before by her dreams and hope for a better future.

Mr. Kang lying about the flower arrangement! I didn't see this coming but I can't help but think maybe he is already making things right. Maybe, just maybe, he's using the flower arrangement but already seeking resolution for their identity theft. What if he already turned himself in and is currently in hearing sessions? Maybe I'm overthinking this too much but what if?

Also, the never ending efforts of Kiho for Mokha. Huhuhu. I know I had this thought during Love All Play if Chae Jong Hyeop will have a role someday better than Park Tae Jun because that suited him so much but he did! He is climbing this top lead characters and doing so well! Kiho is a different level of a green flag here. I can't even distinguish anymore if it's because of Chae Jong Hyeop, his roles or his smiles. Hahaha you are one great actor, mister!

And lastly, Manager Park! Your backstory hits me so much. You know when you are young, you see yourself in main characters of the series or films. Now that I'm getting older and being one of the many in this world, I start to relate to characters like him. Not all dreams are achieved nor stories are perfect. There are people who made wrong choices or eventually gave up at some point and they are still worthy to be an inspiration and be given of multiple chances. I know one closed door can open a new one so I hope people keep on trying. It's hard gaining courage to give up but we don't have a choice most of the time. We will eventually have to surrender and start something again.

okay... I know it's episode ONE but I'm interested in the direction of castaway diva, mostly because I also very much like park eunbin. I think she's so cute and I think it'd be enjoyable to watch her maneuver her life after being stranded. even the teaser for episode two when she has kimbap and coke and she starts sobbing that was so adorable. I don't think they reveal who kiho is in the future but I mean it's gotta be one of the guys in there so I shall we tuning into the episode tomorrow.

Hyung is as consistent as his brother, just that he's consistently stupid because how on earth do you think it's a good idea to enter a dangerous man's house in the middle of the night like it's a walk in the park? wtf? and he still doesn't know when to stop digging around for the truth even if he hurts the only father he knows. That chair did more damage than they're saying. Not only his memories, but the whole head has been compromised lol

the timeline is soooo confusing!!! did abusive father try to escape to that island after smashing a chair on his son's head and kidnapped Kiho? is that how it was?

i gotta hand it to the drama. Last week I said there probably wasn't any mystery left if they revealed who Kiho was, but turns out I was wrong. The family lives in safety thanks to the adoptive dad (he's a saint!) but also thanks to a bunch of lies and that is no bueno. No wonder Bogeol and his mom are worried that MokHa becomes famous and outs them to the public lol
