Today I have pics of my quilt. Pattern is called Felix and is by Meags and Me.

Close up of Felix with the spider on his tail 😜

He is pretty chill about it. Off to do some more binding. Just got a few quilts back from my long arm quilter
(She loved her Highland Coos). 💚

New pattern now in testing phase! If all goes well, this'll be up on Etsy in a couple of weeks.
The original garment is a c. 1905 wool, velvet, and chenille-embroidered jacket (suitable for a walking ensemble or dinner dress alike - it probably would have gone over a pretty shirtwaist & had a matching skirt) with a 40” (101cm) bust & max waist of 36" (91cm).
I tried on a mockup and the back fits very well, so I’m calling this an L/XL size and have included a bust extension to 43”, though this can also be worn open for larger busts.
Edit: Available on Etsy here! <3

The boi has a torso!
Androgenous and male tied, so I made their underwear as close to unisex as I could but went with camo for the color. I'm going to make one last attempt at a maple leaf, and then it's time to make an outfit. He looks really cute so far.

Looking for testers for a Borzoi crochet pattern! (CLOSED) Please message me if you are interested in testing this pattern!

Note: you can use any size yarn you’d like as long as you have the corresponding hooks.
8mm black safety eyes
4mm black safety “eye” for nose (optional)

My mom asked for slippers, so I'm playing around with a new pattern just for fun.
Behold, a seemless heel cap

It's starting with a JMCO with an extra stitch and then knit in a U-shape, then increases for the sole (which is done in rib for extra cush)
It's got a nice comfortable shape

At the instep, it's joined in the round

And I'm not finished knitting yet. Yes, probably could have sized up the needles with this yarn, but mom goes through a lot of slippers and has tile floors, I'm hoping the dense knit is helpful.
Might end up writing an actual pattern for these, mostly because I hate the way a lot of slippers fall off my heel, and because I hate seaming. Once I close the toes on these they'll be done, no seams.

Looking for Pattern Testers!
So I don't have a crochet blog (right now anyway) but I've made my first pattern and I'd love to have some testers!
It's for a star hairtie (scrunchie?). Of course a work in progress! Also I'm learning how to math the number of stitches.

It's not a challenging pattern, but I recommend being intermediate or above since I'm confident this pattern isn't as clear as it could be or has issues.
Please DM me or respond to this poll and I'll send a link to the pattern :3
