New pattern now in testing phase! If all goes well, this'll be up on Etsy in a couple of weeks.
The original garment is a c. 1905 wool, velvet, and chenille-embroidered jacket (suitable for a walking ensemble or dinner dress alike - it probably would have gone over a pretty shirtwaist & had a matching skirt) with a 40” (101cm) bust & max waist of 36" (91cm).
I tried on a mockup and the back fits very well, so I’m calling this an L/XL size and have included a bust extension to 43”, though this can also be worn open for larger busts.
Edit: Available on Etsy here! <3

I adore the children in their beds. I made them look like my grandchildren.

The stockings were hung. And check out the mouse 🥰

Santa and his reindeer too!
I still need to put some handwork on it (mainly the words). I’m so happy with this. I love the colors so much!
I’d love to hear what you think of it🩷

I had the opportunity to test this lovely Papa Louie pattern by the amazing Campbell Crochet and I had such a blast doing so! I'm a huge Flipline fan so I was legit thrilled to make this little guy!
Go check Campbell's pattern on her Etsy page if you'd like! <3

Looking for Pattern Testers
Tumblr media
Looking for crochet testers for my Honeycomb Vest pattern!
Pattern Info:
Hook Size: 5.5mm and 5 mm, or size needed for gauge
Guage: 8 rows of 8 sc= 2" x 2" Yarn: Medium/4, Aran weight. Notions: Yarn needle, scissors, 6 20mm buttons
Skill Level: Intermediate or ambitious beginner
Written pattern. Worked flat and sewn together. Instructions for calculating for different sizes is provided.
Pattern Deadline: Flexible, I'm thinking 3 months from sending it but if you need more time I'm open
Testers Wanted: 4-10 testers in a variety of size. Pattern is written to be 42" with instructions for how to calculate for different sizes, and I really want to now if that aspect is clear and understandable, or if I should write it with set sizes. So i would like testers who would be adjusting the pattern to sizes both larger and smaller than what is provided.
Tester Application: https://forms.gle/uS7qsv4Vb5cGe6ZT9

Currently writing a pattern to be tested for an oversized hood and I'm so hyped, I found the pattern mostly finished in the private notes of my ravelry, so I'm editing the notes for clarity and planning on finding like 4-5 testers so that I can get a better idea of how much yarn the project takes (It was meant to be good to use with leftovers or yarn you just don't know what to do with, so there's some wiggle room but i'd like an average minimum y'know?). I'd call this an ambitious beginner to intermediate pattern.

Embroidery I've been working on and am currently resisting the urge to rip out the stitches on the neck.
They are just so textured and I think I might want them running horizontally instead

@/puffedsleeved (IG) cut 4" off of the bottom of the pattern for a nice walking skirt length
@/wizingotta (IG) made it in full length in muslin in prep for a final version later ;)

I was so lucky to test this mushroom pattern by @diminu_patterns on Instagram this weekend. In just a few hours I was able to make these three squishy mushrooms. 🍄 this was a welcome break from making my website, nothing about this pattern was difficult at all. Now, I have to stop myself from making more cause, omg, would it not be cute to put these around all my potted plants?
