Looking for Pattern Testers!

So I don't have a crochet blog (right now anyway) but I've made my first pattern and I'd love to have some testers!

It's for a star hairtie (scrunchie?). Of course a work in progress! Also I'm learning how to math the number of stitches.

It's not a challenging pattern, but I recommend being intermediate or above since I'm confident this pattern isn't as clear as it could be or has issues.

Impromptu call for crochet pattern testers! I designed a smol chicken and would like to put up the pattern for free on my website + for one Euro as a PDF on ko-fi, like I did the strawberry, but I'd like to actually test this one and have folks show off the results. Literally just two people would be good.

What you'd do:

Follow the pattern.

Let me know if it's unclear and needs some edits.

Post a pic of the results with a link to the pattern once it's up.

What you'd get:

The PDF for free.

A credit + link in the pattern both on the website and in the product description wherever I sell the PDF.

Anyone interested? I'll smooth out the pattern document today and we'd start tomorrow. It shouldn't take long, so I'll say there's a week deadline in case folks can't get to it in the next couple days.

Tested out a crochet pattern, ended up with a lil friend🐧

So I did crochet garbage bin but I don’t have access to my crochet stuff for like at least 3 days. So they have no eyes and I sewed their mouth with a bent paper clip (it sucked). I’ll update again when I finish but I’m too excited not to show it off now!! Features drawn on for recognition as well as the ref I used :)

I had the opportunity to test this lovely Papa Louie pattern by the amazing Campbell Crochet and I had such a blast doing so! I'm a huge Flipline fan so I was legit thrilled to make this little guy!

PATTERN TESTERS WANTED

I need pattern testers for an anatomical heart! Probably closer to an intermediate skill level pattern, but any skill level crocheter is welcome!

Ive never done a pattern test call before so ig just reblog this or send me a dm letting me know you wanna test it out, and what your skill level is. Im probably gonna pick up to 10 people to test. (Subject to change)

I'll leave this open for a couple days and pick people on Thursday (jan 30th) at 9pm cst (so i have time to get home from work and send patterns over)

Opening up pattern testing for my emperor penguin design!

(I've been typing a lot + tumblr glitched and deleted the post, so no spoons for alt text. Will credit and add if someone is kind enough to do it for me. The below is mostly copy-pasted.)

Hello and welcome to my first attempt to get a pattern tested! Since I’m not sure how many testers will be interested, I don’t have a limit or a deadline as of now.

I can’t pay anyone, so what you’ll get for testing is the completed pattern in PDF form for free - and if I ever have to update the pattern, I’ll send you those updated versions as well. I’ll also thank you personally in the pattern listing, either with your username on tumblr or any other name you’d rather I use.

I haven’t posted the pattern anywhere yet. If you agree to be a tester, I will privately send you a link to a google doc. If you have an account on ravelry.com, I'll also send the tester code for my draft so you can link a project to it.

How I’d like this to go:

Testers email me at alexhazeonline@gmail.com to let me know they want to test (having it all there will make it easier for me to handle).

I send you the link (and the tester code if applicable).

You share any questions or criticisms you have about the pattern so I can change it if needed.

Once all is completed, I send you the finished PDF.

Testers upload your project + pictures with the tester code (if applicable).

I upload the pattern with thanks to anyone who tested in the description.

If you don't post on Ravelry, you can post pics here on Tumblr and link to the pattern after I've uploaded it.

I hope I’m doing this right! If anyone wants to test but can’t go through email, I’m okay with DMs too. I’ll answer any questions on this post or through asks. (But my carpal tunnel is flaring up so it may be a few hours from now.)

Sometimes I want to do pattern testing of amigurumis but I see the test deadlines of some people and I'm like no way. 8 days after receiving the pattern??? Girl, I have a full time job!!
