I absolutely loved the first book but I unfortunately could not get into the sequels. If anyone has any recommendations for series similar to it I'd be absolutely ecstatic! :)

Stomach paintings!

Originally this was @stomach-rental 's interpretation of Louis, from @peachnewt 's story "Getting In Deep" / GID, in a stomach. Probably Will's. More specifically, in the pyloric antrum section of the stomach with the peristalsis circling around him a little bit!

Then I had some fun just playing around with the environment/lighting/colors, haha. So significantly less realistic.

Variations under the Readmore!

A variation where the walls glow, inspired by one of my characters from my own story "Breathe Life, Outrunning Our Doom" / BLOOD, Damien.

And a variation where the walls are a pastelish iridescent , inspired by @tummietown 's character Maddie! Louis is just kinda along for the ride, haha. I just got caught up in the silliness of fun colors and painting practice!

Yeah hey, welcome to the community! And thanks for asking, ive got a good few recommendations!

If youre looking for mcyt stuff, id have to recommend @cyncerity (she focuses on dsmp) and @boiled-ginger-ale (they focus on hermitcraft) theyre art and their writing is super great. Id also recommend blogs like @astraymetronome and @local-squishmallow who seem to do a lot more writing! As far as i can tell they both focus more on dsmp as well, and all their creations are amazing

For otherwise general nsx stuff, i cant recommend @notmyprey and @safety-writes-noms enough, both of their art and writing is super good and they both make my day whenever i see them on my dash.

Id also recommend @stomach-rental cause their art is just fantastic, but they post purely about @peachnewt 's story "Getting In Deep", so if its not something youre interested in thats understandable, the story is a big commitment to read. And my final recommendation would be @thefanciestborrower . I just love their art, and im not really in a lot of the fandoms they post about but i still enjoy their art/writing when i see it.

Anyways thx for reaching out! I hope you enjoy the community and make some new friends! I myself am still pretty new to this place, so i understand it can feel pretty overwhelming, but in my experience, you find your place pretty quick! Have a good day/night! :D

I actually removed the server link for a time due to some nonsensical trolls that happened (weird, because I don't have it posted anywhere but this Tumblr??). I figured most of the fandom was already there so I never reposted the link, but since people are asking about it, here is the new link to the server.

As a reminder, this server isn't super active because we mostly use it for discussion when new chapters are posted or to talk about fan content. So don't expect anything too crazy! I still need to get in to make it more fancy at some point. I'll repost this again when I get around to that.

My tablet is still DEAD, but…I have finally decided. It is TIME. I am opening the Getting In Deep Discord server to the public!

If you don’t know what Getting in Deep is, you can find the whole series here. It’s a g/t safe vore series written by @peachnewt, action packed and filled with a fantastic slow burn romance. It’s still being written today, currently on the 4th book in line, and I highly suggest checking it out!

This server is for discussion, fanworks, aus, and other content related to that series. It’s a completely sfw server, with “spoiler safe” roles if you’re new to the series and a role made to keep any of the imagery of vore(internal views specifically) out of the way if it’s not your cup of tea. It’s run by four moderators, has lots of discussion topics, and is overall a very casual and laid back atmosphere to be able to talk about the interests involved in this series!

This is the first public server I have ever made, and I have no idea how it’ll go. I’m hoping that it will be a good place for everyone to be able to jump into discussion, but I am completely open to suggestions on how to improve the server and questions about the series itself or any of the aus my friends and I have made for it!

so its been forever, and i got on some new meds and remembered how to draw. so uh.

heres my most recent hyperfixation getting in deep ft my fucking around with trying to figure out how i draw people. and too many jokes about height. stay tuned for a bunch more, my brain feels like its turning inside out and i love this series so much i keep rereading it ^^

Nobody asked but I logged into my old wattpad account and found my g/t collection so here’s a few recs that are absolute masterpieces :

• ‘Man on the Inside’ series by peachnewt

Summary: Louis, the coffee addict. Will, the fanboy.

These two are Agents partnered under the Watch.

They get along as well as a toaster in a bath. When a mission involving a madman goes wrong, the two of them become physically closer than ever.

And we don't mean the "handcuffed" trope.

Running from fanatics, and against the clock, keeping the Watch organization under wraps might cost one of them their lives.

- one of my faves, classic grumpy x sunshine having to be in forced proximity with grumpy being able to size shift! the lore is so deep but also not hard to follow and all relates back to our grumpy size shifter

• ‘The Shrink Program’ by Shayni

Summary: Maddison Tramph makes terrible life choices and is shrunken as a result.

To return to normal, she must reform her behaviour with the help of an estranged best friend.

Resulting in even worse life choices.

- I cannot even begin to put into words how well written and planned this story is. not only is there tons of g/t but the story lore itself is so insane. i gasped at so many plot twists chat it’s crazy, i think this deserves to be a physical book with an award but that’s js me

• ‘A Giant Mountain’ by Soya_Sauce

Summary: After trying to run away, Emelie gets captured by a giant. He brings her to his world where she cannot escape. The giant teases her, so she learns to dislike him. But after much time together, those feelings start to change.

and the sequel : ‘Here We Go Again’

Summary: It's the beginning of Émelie's and Nathaniel's senior years, and both are struggling. Emelie can't seem to stay out of trouble and might lose her scholarship.

And Nathaniel's staying up day and night, working on a part time job and studying.

Emelie gets suspended, again, for an entire week. She wanted to spend that time with Nathaniel, but let's just say things didn't go according to plan.

- this one’s really cute with a well written story too. the main g/t couple r so sweet after they get over their little big bad giant teasing stage

• ‘The Giant’ by Baileyschatz

Summary: A princess is given to a giant prince as humans try to make peace with the giants. Will she be treated as a pet, a prisoner, or a love interest. Read to find out.

- classic enemies to lovers sort of trope with the giant prince absolutely pining over the tiny princess but not being the best at showing it however it is a very cool story nonetheless

• ‘The Next to be Taken’ by DezWeasel767

Summary: Ever wondered why some people are afraid of midnight or always portrays it as a bad time of night?

It's for what lurks at night. It's because of the reason, why l've been running for a part of my life.

I've been bullied durning the day, and then hunted at night by these monsters.

I always looked at them as they were the enemy.. but sometimes, what you think are your enemies, or your childhood bogey man, could actually turn out to be your only true family..

- parental g/t with two sweet giant brothers taking care of a whole bunch of human kids. it’s a really cute story however if i remember correctly there is some fatal vore right at the very end and not really described in detail but you can definitely skip that chapter!

Continuing the story of Louis and Will switching places in the pred/prey relationship, while in a fantasy setting.  Cause it's FREEZING outside! ^_^

Part 4

Louis assumed William James Rowe from Brex would show off his improved attire and then leave, same as everyone else, to do whatever was worth getting stuck in a blizzard for.

Louis assumed wrong. As he folded the soft rag to a clean side, the human peppered him with questions. Thankfully no one else was around to hear him reply in as few syllables as possible. As if too many words would cause an avalanche of attention.

How long had he been living in the Greyfells?  Five years.

Did he use his axe often? Not really. He broke down firewood with his hands.

 And the other use was... private.

How did you get your post to protect Wax Wake? I was assigned at random after the previous giant died.

By this time, Louis had moved on to the Southwest Tower, and yet William James Rowe from Can't-Stop-Asking-Questions kept up. The last time Louis had talked this much, he had just accepted the post for guarding Wax Wake and had to introduce himself to the city's council.

"How did the giant before you die?"

The pan of glass under Louis' rag creaked against the frame. "...old age."

It was probably true. The widowed oldster, nicknamed Candlesnuff, had been guarding Wax Wake for decades. When one gets up in years their minds go. That was the best theory as to why he would go so far into the Fells when he knew he shouldn't. Parts of the old giant had never been recovered for proper burial. 

"How old-"

"Is there a reason for your "small talk"," snapped Louis. "Or did someone put you up to a dare? I would think the townsfolk have learned better."

Will froze. "No one dared me. Is it so wrong to talk to my rescuer?"

Louis rolled his eyes and sighed. "Hn."

The giant used a small stick to press the rag into the corners of the glass panes. Soot rained down from the tower, making Will take a few steps back. He bent at the waist and stretched to un-crick his neck and noticed how long his shadow had become.

The bottom of the sun rested on the mountain crest, gilding the snow drifts in peach and pink. Dinnertime before the sun's warmth cut off completely. Louis could already smell meat sizzling, making his empty stomach pinch. What he wouldn't do for a grilled side of ox.

"Best get inside," muttered Louis. "Unless you want to test how resilient your new leathers are?"

"I suppose." Will's breath solidified in the cold air, drifting upwards. "Will you be back tomorrow?"

Louis frowned and held up his blackened rags. "I still have three more towers to do, so yeah."

"Okay, see you then!" Will grinned and waved as he jogged into the city, where lamplight and cook fires glowed like chips of gold.

"Strange small man," Louis muttered. "Doesn't have anything better to do?"

He set the rags in a basket hanging off the tower. He would receive fresh ones tomorrow along with more side-eyes and people silently accusing him of laziness because he hadn't come in earlier to clean the towers in the first place.

And, apparently, he would get more questions from William James Who-What-When-Where-Why-How Rowe from Brex.

As he trudged back to his cave, making a point to scuff the snow off the path for those with short legs, the idea of company on the morrow didn't sound so bad.

Then his stomach, that hadn't seen anything but Will leaving last night, grumbled its displeasure.

Damn it all. It would take an hour for him to cook dinner. Until then, he would starve. He should have eaten Will again. It would have stopped the questions and hunger pangs.

On the slopes above the Grey Fells, the rumbling loosened a tiny avalanche into the twisted trees, rustling the branches and releasing spores.

The caravan Will had arrived with dragged him to a large round building that acted as a marketplace and center of community and nightlife. Tiny golden lights, either from candles or bespelled strings, hung from the towering rafters, connecting each point of commerce that ringed the building.  Dozens of different smells drifted from booth to booth, of pine resin and honey, incense and fried bread. Food stalls offered a variety, from noodles in steaming broth, to flakey meat and veg pasties, and the guaranteed stew that consisted primarily of meats and the occasional vegetable.  

Conversation amongst the caravan drifted from subject to subject, and Will took the time to listen while he enjoyed his stew.

"There's a hot spring a few miles east of here. Might be a good place to sell the soaps."

"I think the sauna would be better."

"Anyone else hear that rumbling earlier?"

"Thought it was an avalanche?"

"I figured it was a wolf."

"Don't get many wolves up here according to the guards."

"Thank the gods for that. My cousin is a shepherd and gets enough trouble from wolves and coyotes."

After finishing dinner, Will wandered around for dessert and ended up talking to a local pastry chef, whose space looked more like an alchemist's lab than a bakery. Bright copper pipes and bowls sat amongst marble slabs and bottles full of various spices. A huge oven flanked by two smaller ovens filled the back of the kitchen. The front had a display case for confections and counter with seats, like a bar.

"There is a surplus of caribou and small game meat and furs being brought in and traded here," said the spindly man as he sparked the burner under a copper carafe. "From the southwest. Whoever is in charge of hunting over there needs to lay off. Local hunters don't want the market flooded. And people can actually get tired of steak." 

Will gestured to the display full of pastries, small cakes, and molded sugar figures on sticks. "Does that help your business at all?"

"No, because when traders pack their caravans with meat and furs, they leave less space for flour, sugar, spices, and eggs." The copper carafe glowed red as the confectioner's hair. Donning a pair of thick gloves, he poured the steaming black liquid from a height into a small cup and slid it over to Will with a flakey pastry with a filling made of finely ground peanuts and honey.

"Tada! The Reese special. Dip the pastry in the chocolate, and enjoy! And, because you're new," with a flourish, Reese handed over a thin, flat cookie with a drizzle of white icing. "The Pillar's signature cookie."

Will sniffed the cookie. It smelled of pine, and a little like a gingersnap. "Everyone new here gets a free cookie?"

"Call it a local gastronomical welcome, or rite of passage."

An eastern woman whose hood was lined in purple and pink embroidery and quilting, strode up to the counter and claimed a stool like she owned it."More like a hazing."  

"Benita," grumbled Reese.

Benita huffed and pulled offer her gloves. "Reese is trying to recreate an old cookie recipe. It has flour made from the inner bark of local trees. Unless it's mixed with enough spices and sugar it tastes like you're sucking on a roasted pine cone."

"It can't be that bad." With generosity, curiosity, and bravery, Will bit into the cookie. It snapped between his teeth, the gritty texture and sugar glaze giving way to...

"It's a work in progress," admitted Reese. "I've been adjusting the pine bark and sugar ratios."

"Mm."

"Keep it in your mouth for too long and your face will stay that way," warned Benita. She turned towards Reese. "Dinner?"

"Roast pine cone," sneered Reese as he handed over another cup of hot chocolate. Beni cradled it in her hands with glee. "Will, this is Benita Chang. Benita is in charge of maintaining sleds, and between fetching packages from beyond the Pillars, is the Reindeer race champion four years running."

"Mm mh." Will nodded in her direction.

"At this point you can spit it out, I won't be offended," said Reese.

Will swallowed the bitter mush and washed the taste down with a large sip of hot chocolate. "Waste not, want no," he gasped. 

"Atta boy!" cheered Benita.

Will took the ribbing in stride. His ego wasn't as important as learning from the locals. "Are there any rangers I can talk to about the lay of the land? Weather patterns and such?"

"Most keep to themselves." Beni held her  cup towards the center of the building. "But you'd have a chance with Ranger Megan Shiloh. She'll be wearing bright green. Have fun."

The center of the round building was a covered atrium with various tables surrounding a platform in the middle. A round stage for political forum, music, plays, or as the case was that night, for one of the local rangers to tell the kids caution tales about getting lost at night. And what to do to stay safe.

Will sat with the parents and listened, taking sips of chocolate and bites of pastry. He had a lot to learn.

While waiting for his soup to cook, Louis cut out four more squares of gingerbread. If he could get the walls to stay up, then the roof should be easy. Right? Four squares and the icing is the glue to keep them together.

By the time the soup was ready, Louis added another collapsed gingerbread house -shack- to his list of failures. He crumbled a wall between his teeth, and set aside another for breakfast the next day. Gingerbread was a poor consolation for the day he had.

When had it become so hard to talk to people?

"I'm too tired for this." And it's too late to learn.

Ahhh dude that's so sweet of you!!! I hope I'm living up to the expectations! As for recommendations hmmm.... Well since the purge the community here has been a bit scattered but there's still a few good vore blogs that post.

I highly recommend @novorehere as they're a big staple in the community and great for finding other creators too! I dont know them personally but they always have something nice to say when i see them pop up and they seem like a real sweetheart. @stomach-rental draws some really great stuff!! they do g/t stuff exclusively from what ive seen (correct me if i'm wrong) and its always such a delight. I Big recommend looking into their art for GiD. and reading the original story if you get the chance. Fantastic conent (written by @peachnewt in case you wanna go check it out)

@ant-noms draws and writes some really good stuff!! G/t and slightly bigger but i dont think they do full on same size? could be wrong again. They do marvel stuff, mostly ant man of course. Typically I'm not into the super hero stuff but honestly the way they write and draw and their scenarios are so fucking good!
