He didn't realize that was a possibility. If he was younger, he would've struck as many deals as possible if it meant his family were still with him. Patrons or not. There's just a touch of bitterness from Percy, but his default mode is bitch so you can't really tell.

Percy doesn't really change anything that he does when he learns that your father is your patron. He has questions, sure, but he's not going to suddenly try and win favors. He's sure your father has other things to do than constantly watch over you.

Sorry if kissing is a bit awkward for you, but Percy isn't going to deny himself the taste of your lips just because daddy dearest might be looking in (he'll have some choice words though).

Fjord

Oh he is sweating when he learns that your father is your patron. Does that mean he's always watching? Is Fjord going to be struck down if he even looks at you in a less than platonic way?

Seriously being so polite and stiff with you for a bit after he learns before he remembers all the things you both have already done and the flirtations that passed between you. And then thinking, "Oh hells, did your dad see that?!"

Seriously, you're going to have to be the one to reassure Fjord and talk to him that your dad isn't constantly watching. You get your magic from him, sure, but he's not constantly around so Fjord doesn't have to keep his eyes and hands to himself.

Gale

Well that's an interesting perdicament you're in. Can't help but ask how that happened. Did your parent die and as a way to not leave you alone, they became a patron somehow? Perhaps you're mixed with some Fey or Fiend or Other Worldly being? Maybe it's-

Seriously, he could just go and on with theories as to how that happened. Especially if you have no idea how it happened, he will get to the bottom of this because it's fascinating to him.

If your patron father does pop in at some point, Gale is sure to give a smile and introduce himself and promise that he's taking good care of you. Would probably pout a bit if your dad doesn't like him, but he can summon magic cats so Gale is sure he'll win your dad over yet!

Wyll

He can't help but find some amusement in the situation. Your father is your patron while his father pretty much kicked him out due to his own patron. It's an interesting situation too.

Now and then Wyll does ponder if perhaps you're part something else. Just because most patrons he knows are fey, fiends, or some otherwordly entity. With how happy you make him, he doubts your father could be some kind of devil.

While he can see why having your father as your patron isn't optimal, he would certainly have taken that over his own patron. But he tries not to be bitter and does his best to be a good boyfriend, hoping your father doesn't mind if he shares a few late night dances with you.

Agere Dead Sea Siblings headcanons

Their brains do age regression as a coping and defense mechanism from trauma

Technically all flips but only Percy calls themself a caregiver since Nico and Hazel only take care of him when he's a Little while he does it in general for anybody who needs it due to him being an adult while they're only kids

Hazel's ages are 2-3,Nico's are 3-5 and Percy's are 7-8 with the occasional 2

As a cg,Percy does babytalk sometimes,carries them around,gives them extra kisses and takes them on safe adventures like gardening and playing hide and seek.He's learned how to spot when they're tiny when they try to hide it and eventually it gets to the point where they stop trying because of all his reassurances and how safe she makes them feel so now instead they make a b-line for him when it happens

Percy was actually able to repress his regression out of sheer spite and anger when it started(Poseidon genes)but after his self-eestem improved he told Sally about it and she did research so they could find out what was up with him and by then she'd adopted Nico so they knew he's one too and same goes for Hazel when him and Percy ressurected her at Persephone's request so she'd be a part of the Second Great Prophecy

They're all animal regressors too-Nico's a baby bat,Hazel's a pony/fillie and Percy's a kitty

Little!Nico and Hazel call Percy 'Papa/Mama' as opposed to their usual sibling terms for her since while she's normally already a parental figure to them,their age amps it up big time and they call Little!Percy 'Princess'

And Little!Percy calls them 'Coco' and 'Azie' while Cg!Percy calls them his 'Little Rockstars' and 'Precious'(as in pearls)

Nico likes halloween costumes,card games,chewy tender food,being thrown around and storybased songs,Hazel likes tutus,Monster High,black louisiana food sweet or heavy kinds,playfighting,hyperpop and Percy likes coloring,tickles,bubble baths,fairy tales,themed food(Cookie Monster especially)and Lo-Fi Chiptunes

Nico's a pretty quiet kid and takes naps a lot but still energetic,Hazel's even more of a little shit and gets even girlier and Percy's a handful but not in a bad way

Sally saved up to buy them an easy bake oven,toy phones that match their tastes(A box of fries for Nico,a ghost with a bow for Hazel and a pink cat for Percy)and even made them pacis with the diy skills Percy taught her

The cat themed communication cards Nico and Hazel made Percy as a thank you for all he's done for them come into use her for both Percy themself and them borrowing them since she's cool with it

Hazel plays witch often and Percy's more than happy to be her familiar wether he's big or tiny

Nico likes feeling independent so his siblings don't overdue it so he dosen't cry or throw tantrums.However,he's also extra sensitive to his chronic pain in this state so he also understands he needs help with certain things

Hazel's hair is often filled with colorful butterfly hairclips by Percy's doing at her request,Nico's hair gets put into protective styles for safety by Sally or one of his siblings and Percy perfers having his styles changed throught his regressions

Their favorite shows are Max and Ruby,Kiya and the Kimoja Heroes,Bluey,Blues Clues,Dragon Tales,Adventure Time and Spidey and his Amazing Friends with Percy having a huge (platonic obvs) thing for Gwen Stacy thanks to it and the Spiderverse movies so she has secondhand merch of her and made her Atsv suit for herself so she could wear it

And she also made a Miles Morales one for Nico since they're literally Siblings!Ghost Flower and a Peni Parker one for Hazel based off the Across concept art since Hazel has a huge crush on Peni

Nico also loves Tiny Titans and Hazel is the number one Koriand'r fan and Percy models his drawing style after the DC Superhero Girls 2019 one

Percy started collecting stim gifs for them and they did the same for him but with Sonic the Hedgehog memes and cute fanart

Nico also calls Percy and Hazel 'Squish/Squishy' as nicknames since they're both fat/plus-sized and have expressed that it makes them feel insecure

They have matching Aquapets and Percy's even more into legos in tiny mode than he is normally

They have a big children's makeup kit they all share because it has sections with different kinds and that's why Sally bought it for them(i.e One's goth makeup,another's pink and purple and yellow and the last one's ocean themed along with all of them having glitter options)

Percy's obssessed with Rainbow Dash all the time but copies her speech as a Little and can't play his scary games like Undertale and Deltarune in that state so he plays Nickjr games instead

I only found out about Cringetober AFTER October was over. What's more cringey than doing it three months later and also using my own list? Credits of the OG trend to @sleeprann on Deviantart, and Awestin Martinez.

Day 1: Heterochromia

I kept the heterochromia itself pretty basic and went all in on the 2000's aesthetic that was hyper cringey and self aware but also unapologetic and fun.

Day 2: Self Insert

I'll explain this one a little bit: I had exactly one self insert OC when I was a kid and it was for a short lived nuzelock comic. She would find the person I've become so cringey.

Day 3: Gary Stu

This started as a joke that no one knows what a Gary Stu is. When looking up examples, fucking SPENCER FROM ICARLY WAS LISTED. WHAT MALE POWER FANTASY DOES SPENCER REPRESENT??? SETTING RANDOM OBJECTS ON FIRE AND ONLY HAVING TEENAGE FRIENDS WTF? Anyways here's the Iconic Gary Stu Kirito from SAO doing that one spencer shay meme. Gary Stu and Mary Sue aren't valid terms, I'll get into this another time.

Day 4: Glomping

Thank god these days are behind us. Never hug a stranger at mach speed ever again.

Day 5: Furry OC

I do draw furries sometimes! I just don't do it often because I have a strict NSFW policy while living with others as a form of respect for our shared spaces, and every time I've accepted a furry commission or request I've been tricked into doing something fetishized or NSFW. Which has made me more than disappointed and frustrated. I like furry designs, I love playing with textiles and color pallets. So it's not off the table, I just need the NSFW rule to be taken seriously in the future. the last time was an obvious kink and it was a minor who requested it, off topic, but SUPER DON'T PUT ME IN THAT POSITION. You're way too young to be interacting with people in that way and I'm never going to enable that ever. I will find your mom and let her know. Anyways,

Does anyone here who likes the Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus series remember Jason X Brick? Or are you too young to know what I'm talking about? Or maybe I hallucinated that micro chasm of the internet. Anyways,

Day 8: Deviantart Base.

I didn't know how to interpret this one, so I did both things I figured it'd be. I found a base on DA and drew over it (base credit linked here,) And drew a base for people to use, I just did a similar style to the base I found. The OG artist does a mix of sfw and nsfw but the filter is turned on by default so you shouldn't see anything you aren't prepared to just opening the link passively.

Day 9: Nicktoons

Every actually good cartoon seemed to get banished to Nicktoonz, and it made me incredibly sad when it happened, but happy that I could expect something good to be playing during the block that something else I didn't like was going on the main channel. I decided to feature the ones that were my faves growing up, My Life as a Teenage Robot, El Tigre, and Danny Phantom (Butch Hartman DO NOT INTERACT)

Okay so I went to look through your blog and the very first thing I saw screaming lady and cat meme and so my brain instantly said Race but then then the very first couple posts were about how nice it is when someone's open about how much they care about you and giving someone the bigger or better part of something you're sharing because you love them and so I'm gonna say you're Jojo.

I've always seen him as a bit of a jokester and always trying to make people laugh, but he's also the sweetest guy ever and one of the first people to know if someone is having a bad day. Basically, I think you're really cool!

Sprace Royal Wedding AU (Let me know if anyone has an idea for a good title!)

@gendistic42 Here is your fic for @newsiesgiftexchange! I absolutely LOVED your prompt! This was my first time writing an au, so I hope you like it. It's also important to note that this fic isn't finished yet because it is going to become my first ever series! Updates will probably be sporadic, but shall be made with love so hopefully that counts lol I'm so glad I got to be a part of this! Without further ado, here is the first part of *Inset Title Here That I Will Come Up With Later!* I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Spot was pissed. He'd always known that one day he was going to have to marry someone who was chosen for him, someone that he wouldn't have much time to get to know, and given his track record, likely someone he wouldn't even like. All the same, to find out that Denton had chosen someone without even talking to him first made him angry.

Denton had been his father's advisor before he died. He'd practically raised Spot and while it was safe to say he was one of the only people Spot actually loved, they two didn't always get along very well. Denton wanted to make sure that Spot would be ready to rule when the time came. Seeing as how his father had died years ago, he would be crowned king as soon as he turned 18, leaving him with far less time to prepare than most had. Spot had watched Denton rule as the Lord Protector, learning all he could from him, until he effectively took over at 16. It was a hard life and while Spot often wished it had been passed to someone else, he wanted the best for his people and wasn't willing to risk turning over his kingdom to someone who didn't care about it as much as he did.

Spot's inevitable marriage was one of the most common debates between the him and Denton. It always started the same way. Denton would ask if Spot had thought any more about one suitor or another, Spot would get defensive over all the other things he had been working on lately till Denton pointed out that Spot was using that as an excuse to avoid thinking about it. Spot would get angry, Denton would yell back and they'd fight till Spot inevitably stormed from the room to lock himself away in his office for hours on end. They always made up quickly, they couldn't afford not to, and they both understood the other's position. The last argument had ended with Spot telling Denton to just find someone for him so that he didn't have to think about it anymore.

Sitting in his office, Spot now regretted telling Denton to decide without him. Spot realized that while he trusted Denton to try not to doom him to a miserable life, he had given up what little choice he'd had in finding someone to marry. Knowing Denton, it was likely someone serious, stoic, and far to boring for Spot's taste. Someone who could help him run his kingdom well, but probably not someone he would want to spend his life with.

Most of the reason why Spot loathed the idea of an arranged or political marriage, though he would never be caught dead admitting it, was that he wanted to have a chance to actually fall in love with someone. He wanted the chance to admire them from across the hall, for his friend's to tease him whenever his crush walked in the room. He wanted to ask them on a date and go to the movies or watch the stars together talking about everything and nothing. He wanted to hold their hand and watch their face light up when they talked about their passions. He wanted to make pancakes on a Sunday morning while his partner cooed over their kid in the living room. He wanted so many things that he'd never get the chance for.

Spot jumped as his phone vibrated next to him. Looking down he saw the name lighting up the screen. Of course Davey would be calling him. Spot had known Davey Jacobs for as long as he could remember. The Jacobs family had always been granted nobility back when Spot's grandmother had been queen for their ongoing efforts to align the monarchy with the needs and feelings of the people. Ever since the family had been both politicly active and well loved by most of the nation. Because of their close relations with the royal family, Davey, Sarah, and Spot had practically grown up with each other. Spot wasn't always sure if Les knew that he was technically his future king, but Spot didn't care for Les to ever see him as anything other than his older brother's stressed out friend.

He huffed and ran a hand down his face before declining the call and going back to the document he had been trying to distract himself with earlier. Not five seconds later his phone lit up again. Groaning he declined the call again, unlocking his phone and typing out a text before the young politician could call him another time. Just as he was about to send it, that damned picture of a smiling, gap toothed 8 year old Davey took over his screen again.

"Davey what the fuck do you want?"

"Wow, Denton said it was bad but I didn't expect that," Davey's languid and amused voice gave away that Spot's reaction was exactly what he had expected.

Spot gritted his teeth a took a deep breath before he responded.

"Jacobs, I swear, you'd better have something real important to say."

"Dude you just got engaged and you don't even know who it is. You literally told your dad to choose someone for you."

Only a handful of people knew that Spot would often refer to Denton as his dad. Given that his actually father had been the king and was now dead, it would have been considered disrespectful of him to refer to anyone else as his father, even though the former king had never had much of a hand in raising Spot in the first place.

"Yes, which is why you had better say something interesting in the next five seconds or I'm hanging up, I've got work I was doing before you called!"

"Uh huh, because you were definitely focused on that and not on your future husband," Spot could hear Davey rolling his eyes through the phone.

After a moment of silence, Davey huffed slightly before speaking again.

"Look Spot, how about I come over tonight. I don't want you stewing around your office and don't say you're working, we both know you aren't gonna get anything done like this. Let's just watch a movie, maybe sleep out on the balcony and talk. You need some time to process this."

Spot sighed before answering. "Ya know what Dave, you pick out the movie and I'll cover snacks."

"I'll be there in 20 minutes."

Spot laughed, "You'd better, Jacobs."

When that Vaxleth kiss happened in "Reunions", I outright squealed and probably almost feel out of my chair. They are my original CR OTP. And what makes that moment special is that prior to that point, no one at the table had even considered the possibility of doing any romance RP. But once that occurred, the proverbial floodgates opened and it would later inspire the rest to begin to entertain that very notion.

All the more reason why I love that ship. Because it was the first of many, many romance arcs to follow in CR's seven-year run. And we have Liam and Marisha to thank for that.

And for the record, they did eventually talk with Matt away from the table about whether or not it would be okay. Because that is what makes great RP, especially romantic RP in a TTRPG: consent from all involved.

It was all worth it... to see everyone at the table lose their shit at that sudden declaration, leaving Marisha bright red and hiding behind her binder and Liam being the embodiment of that meme of the cat with a knife pointed at him.

Loved it. All of it.

I agree so much. It also began my favourite RP Romance Vex and Percy; and also led to Laura romancing her own husband who didn't really understand the point of romance sub-plots in the game which made him a very different player at the beginning of Campaign 3 (at least from what I can tell. I'm still trying to catch up). It is such a hilarious moment but also very sweet. It's also one of the most memorable quotes from campaign one to be honest. Like everything is funny but those moments that spark something new are the quotable moments. My evidence; "Your soul is forfeit" began Vox Machina's questioning of Percy and eventually leading to his relationship with Orthax and "You know I'm in love with you right?" *to the DM* "and I kiss her." beginning romance in the game. Anyway such a great ship and a great moment <3

this ols edit bc the fonts are pretty and i like the dots and colors and gradient effects, this ylia gifset bc i am still obsessed w the colors and i think i chose some great shots (esp the little cat in the middle <3), this percabeth edit bc i like the formatting and texture and again colors, this edit for the crows bc it’s just v neat and pretty and i appreciate the snow effect (although i would get rid of the italics if i did it today), aaand this edit i made for @emdrabbles’ wip kill me a nation bc it’s v dramatic and i went off w the font effects and text placement even if the colors are all over the place

this bad boy was a turning point in my editing style, i don’t like the hazel/frank/percy panels anymore bc they are just way too cluttered and washed out but i do still love the gorgon/ella/horse ones. good fonts good textures and good text placement! and ofc the teal and red color combo can never go wrong

i have a few!! chapaza italic (with the width upped to 3) is my favorite for the base text or whatever you want to call it. as for Fun Fonts i’ve been liking hellios and surfing capital a lot lately :)
