At the start of season 4 of the PJO series, when Annabeth and Percy plan to go see a movie together, either one of them or Percy's mom should casually refer to it as "that new Tristan McLean movie," which would add to the continuity of the series as a whole, act as a teaser for a Heroes of Olympus spinoff, and make the fans go absolutely wild.

Obsessed with how Annabeth isn't spacial, she isn't a chosen one, she has no demigod magic powers, she is for all intents and purposes, a fairly normal girl.

But she poured her blood, sweat and tears into becoming the best warrior she could be. She trained hard for years because she knew she had disadvantages and she didn't want to be seen as weak.

She's literally known in Camp and by monsters like Alecto as the most powerful demigod alive and she doesn't have powers. It's almost as of girls don't need to be magical to be a hero!

probably one of my absolute FAVORITE percabeth scenes that is absolutely not talked about enough is in botl when percy goes to visit her in the athena cabin and she starts crying because she’s scared and weighed down by the weight of this quest. she holds out her arms without saying anything and he immediately hugs her.

what makes this scene so ultimately meaningful and sweet to me is that this is BEFORE they are together. when they are just best friends. obviously their male/female friendship ended up being something more but it’s so sweet to me how close they were without it being romantic or weird.

percy and annabeth were like those two friends you had in high school that were male/female but just knew each other better than anyone else and worked great in a team and always stuck together at events or capture the flag.

and i love to imagine everyone at camp just looking at percy and annabeth and understanding how close they are and seeing how their relationship develops.

Camper like Silena or Clarisse or Beckendorf: “yup, that’s percy and annabeth, they’re best friends, they’re pretty much inseparable”

New camper: “are they dating?”

Camper: “uhhh. not yet.”

Imagine a 10 year old Nico getting excited that the Greek gods exist, then finding out that he gets to learn how to sword fight just like pirates do. (He was so excited he ended up cutting his leg resulting in a scar)

Sometimes I think about 10 yr old Will Solace taking care of Lee when his older brother was sick with the help of his other siblings. Will placing his hands on Lee's head about to ease the pain of a migraine before Michael tells him off for it, and telling him about them still needing to heal from sickness like mortals.

Then a year later after the Battle of the Labyrinth, Will has his hands on Lee's head desperately trying to convince himself his older brother can be saved - that he's doing more than just healing dead flesh despite the sickening feeling his healing is causing in place of the usual warmth. Michael once again pulls him away, but this time, there are tears in the new Cabin 7 Head's eyes. "He's gone, Will. You aren't doing anything but exhausting yourself. C'mon, bud." It was probably the most gentle Will had ever heard Michael Yew.

I love how Percy asks for a kiss for luck in the battle of Manhattan, especially considering the fact Annabeth never said the first kiss was for luck and probably didn't interpret it as particularly lucky like

Wtf does he mean a kiss for luck??? Last time I kissed him he died for 2 weeks???
