daedalus and acantha met while they were both visiting brazil and quickly fell in love. the two cupids liked the area so they decided to settle down there and start a family, having several children with icarus being their youngest.

most of icarus' early life was running around the city, trying to help people fall in love though he wasn't ready to do this on his own so one of his parents or older siblings were always chasing the young cupid to try and stop him from creating chaos. his earliest works involved seeing two people who he thought were in love and tried to intervene though he didn't realize one of them was the richest man in sao paulo who had a wife at home.

being trained under his parents, icarus would eventually grow bored and desperately want to explore the world like so many of his older siblings had done decades before. his parents worried icarus wasn't ready but they eventually gave in and let him explore if he promised to write.

the next few decades, icarus would explore the world to try and help people fall in love and during this period he met his first true love. an older man who had a more scorned and negative outlook on the world. the two spent years together and icarus thought he'd met the one, though like most first loves… it didn't last forever and the two went their separate ways. icarus was broken hearted and reclused himself for a period of time, though he'd eventually bounce back. despite the smile on his face, he hasn't fully moved on from this love.

Angelo - or rather Angel doesn't know much about his family past his father and his aunts, but he's never really missed family he didn't meet before. Sure, sometimes he saw generations of families together, celebrating holidays and then there was him and his father - all alone. But, he had the person with him who meant the world to him and he knew it was the same way for his dad, so what did he have to complain about, really - right?

But back to the beginning. Angel was born in New Haven to one grumpy lion officer. He was a detective now, but not back then. He .. was never told the entire story, but he knew that his sire hurt his dad and they broke up, which left Ryan to raise him mostly alone, but Angel remembers his grandparents quite clearly despite the young age he'd been, he remembered his grandmother's voice as she sang him to sleep and .. he missed her. He .. lived quite the lonely life. With a father who had been hurt so deeply he lost trust in the people he had sworn to protect and no other siblings, Angel spent a lot of time at home. His father worked a lot, so he spent most of that time alone.

Ever since his aunts moved back to New Haven, Angel had at least some company on the very frequent late night shifts his father took on. He had friends in school, of course, but they didn't often come over to his place - nor was he allowed out too late. It wasn't like he was unhappy growing up, he wasn't. He was loved and cared for, but .. lonely nonetheless. Sometimes. But he had enough hobbies to make up for the lack of company most days; some were bestowed upon him by his father, some he picked out himself. But one thing they always did together on the weekends was an old family tradition - at least his dad said so. The art of Kyudo. Japanese Archery. So, neither Ryan nor Angel looked the part, but Ryan worshipped his father and had gladly taken over many of his old Japanese traditions and honestly? Angel enjoyed them greatly. There was ... beauty in many of them, the slow and deliberate movements, the calm and the peace he felt when exercising them.. it was truly stunning and a wonderful experience.

With gentle nudging from his father, but also due to a lack of options, Angel found himself devouring books of all kinds in his free time and - while it might've been subtly forced once upon a time, Angel developed a love for them, so when he graduated from highschool, he knew his father would demand he attended college. He did. He was. Although he still wasn't sure if he really wanted to become a teacher. Because part of him wanted to follow in his father's footsteps to protect the town that had been a safe haven to them through their lives. He could also see himself doing something else entirely - maybe dance or the ranch. Never good at making decisions, he assumed he had a few years to find out still, but also decided to not only add experience to his resume, but also help his father with the money for the house a little. He ... had an idea where to work and managed to get a part time job at the book store.

Heads or tails, red or black, life had always been about luck. About the probability whether this would happen or that. Did one take the chance and sail out on a Thursday? Or set off on their season without first shedding some blood? All choices in life had boiled down to whether something good or something bad would come about after it. Yet probability and fortune had not only relied upon the choices that any such person made, for misfortune came in the shape of treacherous storms on the open sea, in a drought that dried up the crops that would have sustained a family, a town for nearly a year. And when those misfortunes slipped in unannounced to the little humans that had escaped a pleasant life within the garden, only one name was cursed from their tongues.

Born of the great union between archangel Gabriel and a high elf, a creature that embodied both of his parents’ gifts was brought into the world. Though viewed as the divine vessel for the Gods, it would be this union that established a particular view within the young Avariel’s mind. A Seraphim, of the highest order, and a high elf with seasonal magic at the tips of her fingers, he would grow up with the mentality that he would simply be better than the rest. Though with no throne to one day call his own, with no need to fight any such war waged within the mortal realm, the Avariel took to his own devices.

Into the mortal realm he traveled, basking in the stories of heroes that seemed to give hope and inspiration for so many to follow in their footsteps. Over and over again, he would hear how luck had been on their sides, how fortune favored the brave and the capable. Oh, how he marveled at these stories, and oh, how he wondered how long those heroes’ luck would last for them. For if they were not praising his name, if they did not thank him for the luck that had been on their side, the young Avariel set his mind to ensuring that fortune did not favor them any longer.

A once great hero who had withstood many battles drowned in merely a few feet of water. Another found themselves the misfortuned victim of Scylla after his ship had been expected to outrun a storm. Over and over again, great heroes of stories seemed to fall left and right, as if their luck had seemingly run out. Storms, droughts, battles that surely should have been won, his fingers worked the threads of probability to ensure that only those he wished to succeed would. Oceanid, Graeae, name after name was bestowed upon him, but so often, they were spoken on a whisper or in disdain. Few spoke in praise of his name, few chanced themselves with drawing his attention to them, but it was to those few that he granted fortune. While the rest merely had to chance their luck.

It was years, decades, centuries that the Avariel flitted around the mortal realm, bestowing fortune and misfortune as if he were not playing with the lives of mortals. Eventually, however, the times shifted and the number of great heroes started to dwindle down. Ships favored alternative routes to avoid Scylla, modern medicine had become advanced enough to ensure survival of all those measly illnesses that mortals used to suffer, and the fun he had once had seemed to be scarce. While he could tip the scales, it seemed that a witch or a druid or a human doctor was there to right the wrong that had been caused. Storms, floods, droughts started to become more predictable, and with that knowledge, the mortals seemed capable of taking better action.

While his name became less and less spoken, whether in a curse or a praise, he became less and less fond of the mortal realm. There was no fun to be had with the silly lives of mortals, so he took to Elysia, where he could float among the stars, and take enjoyment in watching those below him struggle with the changing of times. That is, until the misfortune that had befallen those of his own kind reached him within the stars. And though he seemed to be outside the reach, safe within Elysia, it would be the prospect of more fun that drew him back into the mortal realm. To play the odds of those foolish enough to think they had been lucky.

So are we, thank you! I'd personally love both faces here. For Miguel, you could talk to our Alvaro Rico fc about being related somehow, or the Lopezes. I know they're Mexican on our masterlist, not Brazilian or Spanish like your fcs, but either fc you chose could be a little more distantly related. We have Santana, a sister, and a cousin I think. They're open to more cousins, or even someone that was from a previous marriage before their parents got married. You could make either of them a Finn relative the same way, by making your character the child of Finn's parent's sibling's significant other or something. You could do that with any family that isn't full, really, but I see those fcs working well with those families. In specific, Miguel screams distantly related to a Lopez and Andre reminds me of Finn so I could see them being distantly related. We also have room for more adopted Cohen-Changs. They're all adopted.

There is room for OCs as well, we did keep Dalton's everything for Sebastian and Hunter so you could make either of them Warbler alumni.

My top choice would be to recast an originally white family and change them to fit your fcs, though. I like either of them as the new Evans family base fc, or Weston. Imagine Andre as Spencer or Sam. I like Miguel as Jesse or Brody.
