Kaveh and Alhaitham personality switch au!!!
I see other people do it and just kinda switch their temperments and jobs so I wanted to try one where they stay in their same fields of study and just their own personalities get switched (as in opposite of their canon personalities).
Like now Alhaitham is struggling with money cause he's only a part time Haravatat tutor who has trouble finding students cause he's too loud and scatterbrained and talkative to get anything done in a succinct amount of time (even tho if students can power through, they're guaranteed to have a better understanding of the material) and he also goes off on explorations to ruins as a translator but those jobs are hard to come by and dangerous.
Meanwhile Kaveh is the cool, aloof Creative Director of the premier Sumeru architecture firm he founded and is very well off and respected and will absolutely trash talk you to your face.

I absolutely love how of the (two) Hazbin Hotel role swap AUs that featured Alastor as either supporting or starting the redemption project I’ve seen and liked, they both put him in glasses and gave him a pony tail. That is what I call peak character design right there.

years later someone buys the plot, turns on the lights and is suddenly worshipped as a sun god by a bunch of puppets falling apart at the seams

#lore tidbit! the plot is not available for purchase#the building is only Technically abandoned. its still very much Owned private property!#actually ive been thinking about the Other side of this au. the people's perspective#cause in this au at least they all Knew the puppets were alive#many employees - especially the ones working 'closest' to the puppets - put up a huge fight when the show got canceled#but it was either Disassemble (kill) Them or Lock Them Away#and honestly? killing the neighbors would've been somewhat of a mercy#but the employees had no way of knowing just how Bad things would get#wh lights out au#scribble salad#and i mean. the building's electricity bill remains paid.#the employees that felt really bad kept it paid over the years - devoting a bit of their income each to it#thinking the puppets would a) be awake & b) be able to figure it out#yeah that's actually a lil fun tragic tidbit as well - if any of the puppets had found the breaker....#or found it and Messed with it a lil... flipped the right switch...#they would've gotten the lights back on no problem#but yeah anyway ive been Thinking about the employees' side of things a lot#might tie that in with act two. it'd make sense considering the shit that happens#well either they'd help the puppets out or they'd get shoved into one of the sinkholes by barnaby. so.#bc if we're talkin seriously here. the puppets are more likely to kill a person than worship them for any reason#they'd go full 'THREAT!! Mirabelle: Um… Loop? Do you mind if we ask you something?
Loop: Oh~? Do tell~!
* Loop lays at the base of their tree branch, kicking their little feet.
* Mirabelle looks at the other address for confirmation before turning to Loop.
Mirabelle: Loop, do you believe in ghosts?
* Loop pauses a moment, before beginning to laugh!
Loop: Stars above, Housemaiden! What kind of fool do you take me for?! Ghosts aren’t real!
* They sit and look at the group.
* Bonnie walks in front of Mirabelle.
Bonnie: THAT’S NOT TRUE! I SAW ONE WITH MY OWN TWO EYES!!!
* Isabeau stand right behind them.
Isabeau: Yeah! Well, I’m not sure if it’s a ghost but… It’s certainly ghost-like!
* Odile rolls her eyes, as she pushes her glasses to the brim of her nose.
* Loop seems to think for a moment.
Loop: Hmmmm, well I might have an idea of what is happenin…
* They imitate the motion of picking up their nails, as they look past the group.
Loop: They are the echoes of the loops before… Whatever caused these loops clearly is having a hard time with all of your looping! Meaning of the doubles that you were seeing are just remnants of past loops before!
Loop: Right?
* … The group guest that makes sense.
* They had just broken to the 200’s.
* And, seeming as how fragile this craft seems-
* It only makes sense for it to be this awkward!

* … But-
* Odile looks at Loop, a bit annoyed.
Odile: Then, wouldn’t that mean that there would be ghosts of all of us?
* Loop seems to be taken a back…
Loop: … What do you mean there would be ghosts of you? Who have you been seeing?
* Odile groans as she looks towards Mirabelle.
* Mirabelle clears her throat.
Mirabelle: Well, the thing about the ghost is that… Almost all of them… Look like… um-
* Loop’s face seems to grow more terrified as Mirabelle explains.
* Odile raises a brow, Bonnie steps closer.
Bonnie: Loop? Are you having a stomachache ? Do you even have a stomach? Cause your face looks like you need to go to the bathroom-
* Loop reachs out and grabs Mirabelle’s cloak to look into her eyes.
* The others are immediately taken back!
* Odile readies some offensive Crafts, hiding Bonnie behind her.
* Isa goes closer to the confrontation, acting as a mediator.
* Mirabelle looks at them terrified and confused.
Mirabelle: L-Loop?! Wha-?!
Loop: DO NOT GO NEAR THEM!!!
Mirabelle: W-why?! A-Are they dangerous?!
* Loop seems desperate.
Loop: PROMISE ME YOU WON’T GO NEAR THEM, MIRA! PROMISE!!!
* Isabeau raises his hands.
Isabeau: W-we promise! Just please, put Mira down… Okay?
* Loop blinks…
* …
* Then drops Mirabelle to the floor with a loud thump!
* They rush over to Mirabelle, checking to see if she’s okay…

* … Loop sighs and holds their head in their hands to regain their broken composure.
* After a bit, they sit back up and return to their bubbly demeanor.

* The group goes over some other questions before leaving the Favor Tree.
* A bit shaken from the talk, but a step closer to their goal…

Pure Gold#I also really need to emphasis that the ponies *do talk* in this AU. They are a co-existing civilized species#LWJ (horse) is just a quiet guy. And Little Apple hasn't been around a lot of horses#so she thinks her talking donkey roommate who suddenly switched personalities is an exception not the norm#little apple is constantly violating politeness norms by only addressing the pony’s accompanying human and not them#LWJ has achieved that alicorn immortality in this AU so yeah#this human girl was absolutely named after the horse. Saw your Mishanks bodyswap art! Very cute and fun! (Mihawk with a genuine smile on his face so so fun)
I imagine Shanks whould have trouble fighting in Mihawk's body at first since it's been years since he's had two arms
yes absolutely, i imagine that too! conversely, i think mihawk would have a little bit of trouble adjusting his balance and reach with a body missing one arm, as well. it's interesting to think about how they both would be forced to change their fighting style, and whether or not they would exchange swords.
mihawk's been seen using yoru with just one hand so he could probably pull it off with shanks's body. also interesting to think about shanks tripping up on having two arms until he naturally slips into his old fighting style again--or would he? because there's also the question of muscle memory, right? would mihawk's body automatically do things that shanks isn't predisposed to doing, and vice versa?
the other thing i find intriguing about body swapping in one piece is the question of whether or not your haki powers would switch as well. they say haki is spiritual presence, so presumably your haki switches if your spirits switch, but if it's the kind of spirit that's tethered to the presence of the body? then consider mihawk having the strongest conqueror's haki out on the blues, or shanks being able to use observation haki at mihawk's level, practically being able to predict the future--or mihawk, able to counter with shanks's haki-kill technique. food for thought!

I've been thinking about the possibility of Vasco having a motorbike, actually! I can imagine him looking fetching in leather. Too bad I know nothing about motorcycles.

morty v-37 - basically gets used as a human shield and then promptly left for dead by his previous rick(which is why hes got the scar and prosthetics), y-4441 finds him and fixes him up + erases his memories of the whole nearly dying thing. he’s pretty chillaxed and a bit more cynical than an average morty, more “rickish” i guess idk. tends to be skeptical, likes poking holes in rick’s arguments/inventions etc etc but like in a teasing way
rick y-4441 - very peppy, upbeat and emotional. he kind of reeaalllyyy dislikes the cfc and stays away from it as much as possible, especially after finding and unofficially adopting v-37. he’s not as tech savvy as most rick’s, his abilities are more akin to s1 rick’s skill level? as in, he lives off of scraps of materials and creative solutions, less god-like and more “old man in garage who happens to know physics and chemistry”. loves to ramble about basically anything and happily indulges in morty’s hypotheticals/questions whatever. EXCEPT! for why morty doesnt have his fingers he shuts that topic down immediately just does not want to deal with that can of worms at allll
